Fantastic value on a Tuesday Wednesday Thursday and Sunday evening. 6pm to 9pm. 5 courses for £11.95 WOW! The food was excellent, no issues. The only gripe was when the server fetched the menu, he didn't fetch the special offer leaflet until you asked him if they still do the 5 course special. But that being said, food was brill.

We had to leave before finishing our meal, the rowdy behaviour of some of the other diners was just too much for us. Pity really, the food and staff were very good,;but a large party of screaming children and women, accompanying rowdy behaviour by the men, we couldnt enjoy the excellent food, we left half of our main course and drinks an didnt stay for the desert. The staff were apologetic but I suppose losing 2 customers in favour of a large rowdy party makes business sense. Sadly I dont feel we shall be going there again, the food, the staff, the aircon, everything excellent except the rowdies.

Never been before thought we would try the special offer nights £12.95 for a five course meal There was a few people in there on arrival but because i had booked on line we had a table waiting. Had a few drinks to start with and not badly priced £3.95 for s beer. I not going to go on all im going to say is the staff were lovely and the food was mint (excellent) and i couldn't move afterwards and yes we will be going back excellent value for money 👍

I went here with friends on Saturday and had a fantastic meal. We all thoroughly enjoyed what we had - all different dishes, and I'm sure that we will be returning again very soon. In addition the staff, especially Mr Hussain, were excellent and very accommodating. I strongly recommend the Balti Palace.

Had a fantastic family meal with kids & grandkids at balti palace. We all had different starters and mains which were all beautifully served. A couple of cobra beers washed it down well. Mr Hussain couldn’t do enough for us catering for our every need. Wouldn’t normally go on a Monday but it was my birthday and would definitely recommend it.

We came to the Balti Palace many years ago on a regular basis. We rediscovered it through our son, and it was lovely. The food was beautiful, piping hot and plentyful. The staff were very attentive, especially Mohammed. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return and we highly recommend for variety and value for money. At £12.95 for a 5 course, you would be hard pressed to complain! EXCELLENT!!

went to the Balti Palace for the third time last night with the wife and two of our friends. The food was absolutely wonderful and the head waiter, Mr Hussain so pleasant and helpful. The food is cooked fresh and my wife, who is allergic to garlic had chicken jalfrezi, though she could have had anything on the menu cooked without garlic, unlike many Indian restaurants that we have gone to where they cook a basic curry sauce that covers most things on the menu. This is the best Indian restaurant we have been to in a long time and will be going back again

The experience and staff were spot on but the food wasn't all that. I ordered a lamb korai and when it arrived it seemed like they boiled the lamb so it was cooked but the flavour was a very thin layer of taste on the outside like it just touched the meat and that was it. All the inside of the meat was just bland. Same as the chicken tikka I starter I ordered.. Look great on the outside but when tried it was all on the out and not on the in. Bland

Tried it yesterday for the first time and wow amazing service. Booked a reservation online which was easy and confirmed it quickly. Very friendly staff and warm welcome on arrival. Restaurant is clean and tidy and looks freshly decorated. Food is cooked fresh and very tasty. 5 course meal offer for £11.95 is good, well worth it. Can't wait to go back.

Arrived on a very busy Sunday evening so I can understand the staff had their hands full. Though with that being said, the service was lower than that of other restaurants in general. We were greeted with a neutral tone and the same when the drinks order was taken. Furthermore, we waited 15 mins before signalling someone to take our food order as they had forgotten about us, despite being sat close to the bar. However, when things quietened down late into the evening, they were really friendly. The food was absolutely fantastic, even right now I'm thinking about it, sitting in my own drool. The drinks I found to be too expensive. A pint of lemonade cost more than £3 (I think £3.40) compared to other restaurants in the area with £1.50-2.20. If I was to try Balti Palace again, I would definitely try the takeaway side especially as they advertise reduced prices if you go directly via their website rather than through Just Eat.

I have been using Balti Palace for a few months now. Initially I used the delivery service and I now dine in on a regular basis. I wish I had discovered it earlier. The food is always superb with excellent service. This is now my number 1 restaurant.

"Snared by a Restaurant formerly known as The Drum pub" Date of Visit: Saturday 14/06/14 The Balti Palace plies its trade from a building that was formerly The Drum public house - would it snare us? Patrons can make use of the ample on-site car parking, which we did (3 cars, 4 people) I found the restaurant to be tastefully furbished on the interior and the toilets were bright, fresh and clean The staff members are very welcoming and friendly, never overbearing or fawning. Alcohol is served in the restaurant - but after I had engaged the staff with 5 minutes of chat before joining my friends at our table, they realised that we like and approve of "the Bradford model" and they didn't try to serve us with any alcoholic beverages. Ample time was given for us to study and chat about the dishes on offer. In the meantime water and glasses were brought to the table without having to ask. We were offered poppadoms and pickles (which having read a review elsewhere since, it looks as if these would have been gratis) but turned them down as one of our party doesn't like it if we query if they are complimentary. For a starter, I went for the Mixed Kebab (£3.40) - it arrived sizzling in a hot cast iron dish accompanied with some nicely cooked onions. The Seek Kebab was sublime, excellent spicing, the Shami Kebab was also very good, as was the Onion Bhaji. All 3 starter looked as if they had been made on the premises rather than bought in en bulk from an Asian supermarket. For a main, I selected the Chicken Sagwala (£5.70) from the House Specials section of the menu: "cooked with fresh spinach richly flavoured with fresh herbs & spices. A popular dish with Asian restaurant staff. Highly recommended" - is how this dish is described. This dish did not let the description down, it was very, very good! A House Special for just £5.70! Brilliant! I had, what is now becoming my South Yorkshire curry norm of 2 Chapattis (60p each) with the curry. The Chapatti's were of a good size and texture but only arrived luke warm for some reason? We ate early, 5:45pm, and it was also a World Cup night - maybe this explains why we were the only customers in the restaurant? Then again, we didn't leave until 7:45pm and still there were no other on site customers - the take-a-way service did appear to be doing a brisk trade though. I have given this restaurant a much deserved 4 out of 5 stars - I would have awarded it 5 stars if the Chapatti's had arrived hot and also if there had been a couple of spoonfuls more curry. I ran out of curry with a quarter of a Chapatti remaining. The good people of Denaby Main have a top quality restaurant right on their door step! I hope that they use it and that they don't lose it due to poor customer uptake. The "boys" travel in all the way from Bradford each day - that alone saves you £18's worth of petrol. A top quality Bradford restaurant without even having to leave the village - what more can I say... Bang that Drum!
