Second time here (Sunday lunch) and yet again it was fabulous. Just wish we had ordered the roast, watching the staff walk past with plates of roast beef & Yorkshire puds which looked amazing but what we ordered did not disappoint. So definitely a roast next time. Our first time at this fantastic bar and grill, great service and great food which is reasonably priced. Slightly loud but it was a Friday night and we are slightly older 🤣🤣. Highly recommend giving it a try. We will definitely be going again.

I have been to this place before but this was my second time coming back for the spicy chicken salad! Me and my friend had the most friendly and attentive waiter called Brennan I think (ginger guy… sorry for the description I know what it’s like as a fellow ginger). He was great and is a really stellar member of staff.

Just amazing every part of the meal was good, plus we all agreed these were the best nachos we have had in the UK!!!! Good cocktails and mocktails too would definitely recommend. Only downside it was very noisy but we didn't mind that.

Book to eat at night. Menu does not change very much. Burgers are made in house with real steak. Steaks can be over cooked. Staff are OK and others are great. We miss your hostess that's moved to America. Toilets are clean. A bar to be seen in so dress your best.

Thoroughly enjoyed our service so we left a generous tip, the drinks were really good! Our food was generally good, the calamari was too chewy, but the stroganoff and pasta was delicious and so were our puddings. Obviously incredibly popular so if you're wanting a nice quiet dinner I don't recommend going on a busy weekend.

I suppose this is to be expected in Doncaster and is no fault of the venue itself.

Having heard excellent reports I was looking forward to our first visit. We were not disappointed, the staff were friendly and extremely professional, it was busy, but we still didn't have too long to wait. The wait though was worth it. The food was piping hot, very well presented and tasted fantastic. The place was so good we back for a second visit two days later. Definitely recommended.

I don't find that relish offers anything unique in Doncaster and one can find food of equal standard that is much cheaper. I paid £17 for a rack of ribs and they were simply like rubber. I could not cut them with a knife and fork, let alone chew them. To be fair to the staff, they quickly replaced the food with something else, but I was still charged for the ribs... If you are looking for value, I recommend the smaller dishes. The chicken kebab with tsatziki for example. The food is nothing special though. The staff seemed run off their feet the last time I was in, and it took a long time to get our bill. The restaurant is also open plan and it is very noisy every time I go. I think that has a lot to do with the clientele.

Food was good but was really disappointed with the service. We booked for lunch 1pm and were greeted & shown to our table nicely. After placing initial orders for food and drink, we barely saw any staff. They didn't come to ask if food was OK, we kept having to try and wave people down. It wasn't busy at all and there were 3 waitresses and someone manning the bar. Certain waitresses were heavily avoiding eye contact so impossible to get attention. Spent the whole of the main course without drinks. Asked for the bill and no one came to take payment, I had to go to the bar to ask for someone to come and do it after 30mins of the bill being on our table. The poor girl who sorted it had been left on her own to serve remaining tables so no wonder we were left to our own devices from about 2.30 onwards ! Unfortunately let it down big time, didn't expect this on a quiet Monday lunch time . A bit confusing where the other staff went as there were still tables to waited and it was obvious the 1 girl was struggling.

This was the last place we visited before lock down and the first place we've been since the rules have eased. The restaurant is super clean annd clutter free, with well spaced tables for social distancing. There is plenty if clear signage as a reminder of the necessary restrictions, plus a clear one way system and additional glass separation screens between diners. A lot of hard work and thought has gone into this transformation, yet its lost non if its appeal. There's still a great atmosphere, the staff are very efficient and polite and last but not least......... The food is still very tasty, wonderfully filling sized portions, and great value for money! It was soooooo good to go back!! We felt safe, relaxed and looked after.

This was my first visit to meet friends and we was early before 7pm went to bar and waited fair while (to the point lovely gentleman next to me) said are you still waiting and was about to be served again spoke up for me friends arrived couldn't speak due to loud noise and unable to sit all agreed to move on

Delicious and plentiful food, but our waitress was abrupt and snappy, making us feel rushed, she also gave inaccurate information about what my meal would consist of, meaning that I needlessly ordered a side salad when I really didn't need to. Other waiting staff seemed very nice. We were told our bill couldn't be split amongst our group of 7, which was inconvenient as we were in 4 obvious groups. The waiter accidentally spilled wine down my back, but accidents happen, and he managed it very well. I wasn't keen on the bit of cork in my glass, but accepted it. The good is very good. Noisy atmosphere, but nice enough.

Cocktails are a must. Delicious but could be more varied and have more promotions attached. The restaurant is good and has a good selection. The Chef's specials are something to look out for when available. Creative and full of flavour, they offer an interesting (at least) change from the standards. Also offers good entertainment, like live Jazz nights. Always worth checking out.

Been coming here pretty much since it opened, love it. Last two times though we have had problems with drinks. Latest one was a strawberry iced thing. Put the shots of whatever into a jug then topped up with boat loads of ice. Blended it and filled the cocktail glass with the drink. There was the same again left in the blender. They didn't understand that half the shots I'd paid for were still in that blender. Over filled with ice and over diluted the drink then only gave me half what I'd bought. Drink was tasteless. Rant over and we will be back but hope this gets read by Relish staff so it doesn't happen to others. Too expensive to not complain

Fabulous meal. Ample portions. 4 of us dined and the 2 ladies are notoriously difficult to please yet not one fault could be found from any 4 of us. Prices very reasonable but dont need to go any higher. This often happens when places become established and if they keep the same upward curve of success I do hope they dont see this as the green light to increase prices. Definitely make a visit.

Lovely layout and a nice vibe, can get very crowded however and the jazz band is very loud! So avoid a Thursday night if you're looking for a chilled evening out. The portions are huge, maybe too big even. The staff are all very friendly but they are clearly rushed and waiting times for food and drinks can be 30-40 minutes. Overall it's a nice place, all depends on the type of night you fancy!

Went last night for a meal to celebrate my upcoming birthday, everything was good, the food was nice, and the atmosphere was buzzing as this place is always packed even on a Thursday night. My only complaint was that my salad was covered with salad cream on arrival, which I don't like, so it meant I couldn't eat any of it. maybe they should make this clear upon ordering, or better still why not just put it on the table along with other condiments for the customer to use at their disposal. Its not the cheapest place to go for a meal, but the steak was cooked to a very precise level and was very tasty. On the whole a good night was had by all.

When I walked in, I asked for a table for one and said they would find out if one was available. There were at least 30 tables available from me walking in and me walking out. I felt almost alienated. Food was great, lack of service apart from one young lady. They didn't give me cutlery for my main for 10 mins, ,left me waiting 15 mins to pay on my card, didn't acknowledge me on paying. Didn't say goodbye, instead talking to her colleague. I still left a tip. I hope this goes to the kitchen staff as well because the waiting staff didn't deserve apart from the young lady. Shocking front of house.

2017 Very poor. An hour in and still no food. Staff waltz around but don't seem to actually do anything. 2019. the staff were better at attending you, the food was ok, nothing overly special, but overcharged on the receipt. corrected immediately but shouldn't have happened. whilst waiting, i was told to always check my bill as they often add drinks that you have not had by another customer. this may be a genuine error in the bar/waiting staff but seems off that i was warned as it happened to me.

The food was amazing but the service wasnt. Shown to table the waitress plonked down the menu's turned around and walked away. We had to assume that was out table. After 15 mins we had to approach member of staff to take order which came in a reasonable time. Ten mins after we had finished we had to then ask for dessert menu. Prompt service again and so asked for bill when table was cleared. After ten mins no bill appeared so we went to the till where we waited another 15 mins. When staff member came to till she commented on the strange weather but not the length of time we had to wait. We paid up but could have quite easily walked out without paying as the staff on the floor we're not interested for 15mins whether we were there or not. If it wasn't for the delicious food then I'm afraid it would have been 1 star

Visited with my family tonight and had excellent customer service. 2 members of staff stood out a young gentleman who was our go to waiter and he remembered everyone’s meals so when he fetched them over he just instantly placed the meals down which was amazing. And a lady who had a twang to her accent was best lovey and befriended my daughter, whom of which was kicking up a bit of a fuss as she was hungry so they didn’t hesitate in handing us a bowl of chips. Along side this it was my cousins birthday and we asked for a bit of a “fancy hoo-har” on his cocktail (which we totally expected to pay for) however when we received the bill of £195 the cocktail was infact complimentary and they didn’t charge us for my daughters bowl of chips. Further to this I was eating the skittles out of the LOVELY skittle vodka that they make (I had a non-alcoholic version, which again was done with ease and no hesitation) and the lovely blonde accented woman wearing glasses brought me over a glass full of skittles. Excellent customer service from start to finish and gorgeous food. Thank you again Relish :)

Good location for the racecourse, nice vibe, busy eatery and good food at a reasonable price, staff were a little off and we were made to feel like an inconvenience. On the way to the toilet one lady pulled out a table in front of me looked then proceeded to drag said table to the other side of the restaurant in my path and had me wait to pass until she had arranged it with no apologies which I found to be a little rude. One of the best places in Doncaster, atmosphere is fantabidosey with great music (especially jazz night on a Thursday), lovely beverages and seating. Purchased a chicken and presto pasta with pine nuts, the taste was divine, however, the quantity of food I received was enough to calm the hunger pangs of a baby antelope. Because of this I had to order an extra portion of chips. Even after the chips, me and my chum went to eat again somewhere else in the end due to still being hungry. Maybe we're just greedy... Or don't buy pasta if you're really hungry! The other meals on the menu generally give you bigger portions and all taste like rainbows. Would definitely recommend. Update a couple of years later: Still a top notch place, great evening overall and scrumptious food. 🍴🍺👌

Staff lack good customer service skills and border on arrogant. Ordered food at 17.00 as the sign on the wall said from 12 noon to 5 a.m but they wouldn't let me order the special as it finished at 5 p.m!. The sign was incorrect but they still wouldn't let me have it which is false advertising & extremely poor customer service. I used to eat here regularly and it's a while since I've been in. The drinks have gone up in price but down in quality and the food is slightly overpriced. Won't be going back in a hurry I expect friendly service when I go out for food.
