Lovely staff who went above and beyond when I made an error with my order and sent a driver with some extra chips at no extra charge. Very kind and much appreciated though I wouldn’t have asked if I knew the order had already left the shop :) great fish and chips and so happy to have round a place that uses vegetable based oil!

Fantastic food, well portioned and very friendly staff. The fish was lovely and the batter, nice and crispy. The chips portion was huge and the coleslaw was one of the nicest and creamiest I think I have ever had. We arrived a little early for the lunch menu on the Sunday and the staff were more than accomodating to serve us a little earlier A little gem as it appears to be nestled in between a couple of delivery/takeaway eateries so this make it quite unique as a sit-in and/or takeaway too. Well worth a visit, cant praise the food enough as I am always on the hunt for the best fish supper in and around Scotland and this has entered my top 10 and msybe even my top five :-)

Went in after the chippy had shut by half an hour as didn’t know the closing and the staff were absolute hero’s and made our order anyway fresh. Went completely out there way to make our night, food was brilliant fresh, well prepared and presented would have took pictures but scranned it far too quick. Absolute hero’s could not recommend enough

Absolutely amazing food. Pizza was fluffy, fresh, and all the flavours where on point and the chicken wings just fell off the bone they where so tender not to add beautifully seasoned. Would 1000% order from here again. Can't wait to try all the other foods this place has to offer😍😋

I just got a delivery It took around 50 mins so that was okay but the food was cold and I don't like paying £3 delivery for cold food. I'm glad I have a microwave The food is delicious though, I did think that 7 quid was dear for a vegetarian burger but its delicious!! Had sweet chili sauce and onions and lettuce and tomatoes on 😋😋

Had one of the Smokin' Clyde burgers. Very impressed as the patties seem to be home made where other takeaways are bought in and frozen. Perhaps a touch more seasoning for me, but otherwise really good. My partner had the hook and batter burger which she couldn't eat because it was too spicy for her. Perhaps offering either the spicy or plain tartare sauce would be an idea? The fish was nice and fresh. Good value for what we had.

From a food standpoint great! The burgers we ordered tasted really good! Waited over an hour for delivery after being estimated 20-30mins. We are literally 2mins drive from the shop. Regardless of this your failing you customer base who more than ever will be relying on a robust delivery service. Suggest you hire more drivers especially for your deal nights the buy one burger get one free Monday is great to draw punters in but if you fail to fulfil delivery time it's only going to do you a disservice.

Just had our first takeaway from Hook&Catch. It was great... tempura platter, sea bass a chips. Great to have a local chippy doing good interesting seafood. All packed in cardboard.... no plastic which is a plus for us.

Ordered 2 fish suppers online at 6:30pm for a delivery at 7:35. They phoned and asked if I wanted it earlier, and I said that was great. By 7:40, no sign of food, so phoned and after a bit of confusion, was told order was on it's way. It finally arrived at 8pm, with an apology for being late. Food was OK, but both portions of fish were tiny, nothing like the pictures on Facebook. Disappointing experience.

Love this chippy. Best in town as all cooked fresh so worth the wait. But if you want stuff that's been kept warm and cant be bothered waiting then go elsewhere. My husband generally doesn't enjoy chips but has them regularly from here which is saying something. Just on our way there now!

Good menu with something for everyone. Fish and chips were good, the 'Curry Burd' burger with katsu curry sauce was a nice twist! Overall this has turned out a nice little eatery in the Duloch neighbourhood. I know where to swing by after a walk thru the woods or after some grocery shopping at the Tesco nearby!

Excellent fish n chips to carry out and cheaper than local competitors.. Nice touch with slice of lemon, coleslaw and salad. Had to wait ages but was ok since the quality was great and all freshly cooked... but the loud heavy jazz music gave me a splitting headache.. and would put me off sitting in. Need to tone the music down and play something easier on the ears please.. especially after a hectic day at work.. would have been 5 stars if it hadnt been for the loud jazz music..

Dont know whats happened in the last couple months I got my order everything was cold ... salt n pepper chips was a portion of chips drenched in salt with chilli flakes sprinkled over them lol The tub of gravy well i had to slice that as it was just one gloopy mess 🙄 And the burgers weren't even hot enough to heat the box they came in neither were the chips .... same as other reviews i will stick to my usual chippy from now on 🤷🏻‍♀️
