What can I say!! Was at a loose end for dinner and walked past so thought I would give it a go. Without a doubt one of the best sit down Indian restaurants I have ever been to. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was to die for. Simply amazing. I had haggis pakora and onion bhaji to start and the king prawn & Monkfish curry with keema naan for a main. Could not fault a thing. Generous portions and worth every penny. Price was a bit higher because there may have been the odd cobra in there too, lol. Thanks guys will definitely be back next time I am in the area.

It was good, the dips for the popadoms are great none are spice and all are very tasty! I had mango chicken tikka with garlic cheese nan, and boiled rice the nan was an ok size for 2, if I had it again I would swap the rice as not that good and the portion size of rice is small. I definitely would have the mango curry again!

We were a table of 8, all having different dishes and all seemed happy with their choices. I was very impressed with my food. There was a slight mistake with my order, but it was rectified with no fuss and I wasn't in a hurry so I could wait a few minutes more. The staff were great, with one young gentleman serving having us all laughing with his infectious energy. I would certainly go back again.

We visit this restaurant often. The food quality is excellent. Staff are very friendly. Service is quick. The only down side is parking. You need to find your own, on a residential busy main road, as their car park has about 4 spaces

Met friends for our first meal out since 15th March. Felt apprehensive but there was no need. Hand sanitiser on the way in, temperature taken, socially distanced with screens and the staff stuck to the rules and apologised for leaving the food at the end of the table for us to lift across for ourselves. I am about to rebook. We really enjoyed the food which is always delicious anyway and was delighted at the Covid measures. Very pleased all round.

Visited around 3 times in the past month, once with friends who happen to be regulars, another with just me and my husband and then thrice with the entire family. It is an absolute treat and hasn’t failed to deliver so far and each time it gets even better. Will continue returning and think it might become a staple in our household, food is great, service is excellent - guarantees a good laugh, and the value for money is spot on. I would highly recommend for any type of visit, whether that be as a family outing, a meal for two or a get together with some old friends!

I have visited Taste of India several times prior to Covid 19 lockdown and recently have used their home delivery service. I am delighted to say that their deliveries are every bit as good as sitting in the restaurant. The delivery was 15 minutes late but it is Saturday evening and the food arrived hot and tasty. Well Defo be back and I recommend anyone in the Rosyth/Dunfermline area to try this first class restaurant. One very satisfied family👍👍👍

Mixed feelings about this restaurant. Cometely covid ready and felt very safe here. More PPE than a hospital and plastic shields between tables. Nothing on table until you are seated and then great, careful service. The chicken dishes were lovely, well cooked and tasty. Mixed platter for 4 was fab including the haggis pakora. Lamb was another matter. Having seen reviews for the north I down garlic chilli dishes I went for the lamb version of that. Disappointed to the max. Tough, chewey lamb. The chapattis were so chewy too! How do you make what is basically a bread chewey?? Really let the place down so avoid the lamb. Everything else was great. 3 out of 5.

Great Indian food in Rosythe! We went with a large group on a Friday evening and despite being crowded they were able to sit is quickly. Clearly a family friendly restaurant, we were there around 6pm with kids and so was everyone else in the restaurant. It was loud and a bit unruly. The service was super friendly but the kitchen was slammed, it took a really really long time to get out food! When it for arrive it was quite good, from pappadums and pickles to samosas and steaks, and everything in between (curries, dahl, korma) everything was tasty!

I have visited this restaurant for around 20 years I think (since I was wee anyway!) and cannot fault it for consistency in great Indian cuisine. Ordering via the Just Eat app is also so quick and easy and my new favourite way to order. Collection of your order is usually available in 25 mins! My favourites from the menu so far are the North Indian Chilli Garlic Chicken which has a fantastic heat in it. Also love the poppadoms with spicy onions, lime pickle and mango chutney and their onion bhaji are superb. I also like the lamb tikka masala! Staff are always very polite, friendly and professional and my partner who usually collects on a weekend evening says the atmosphere is always buzzing and vibrant due to how popular it is, so would be a great place for a meal out too.

We got the meal deal for 2 people with a : - North Indian garlic and chilli lamb - Caylenee with prawns - the poppadoms and the sauces - and the pakoras which they run out so offered an upgrade of chicken tikka - upgrade on garlic nan - rice I have to say that collecting it IT WAS WORTHY! Delicious food, FRESH, TASTY, you actually taate the spices and the balance of flavours! It was an EXPERIENCE WE ARE GOING TO REPEAT IN THE RESTAURANT NEXT TIME. I do not like ordering Indian take away cos I always get disappointed, and I am not fussy person. This place is worthy the review.
