Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere the staff were really nice and had a good bit of a laugh with us and made us feel welcome and they looked after us. The portions were a little large for me but the food we had was absolutely delicious, we had the Gammon Steak and a Fred's Dirty Burger. Normally you have either quality or quantity and here you get both. When you walk through the front door you walk into the bar area it has a very warm friendly feeling. We went on a Friday night and it was a bit loud in the bar as you would expect but the restaurant is through the bar and out towards the back and by the time we had been seated we couldn't really hear the bar. The restaurant is a very nice small intimate area with an open kitchen very enjoyable. Will definitely be going back 110%

Food was delicious and so tasty can’t wait to go back. Staff so friendly and chatty. Young lad on the main bar was so pleasant after our food sorry didn’t catch his name but only been working there a week. After a few bad experiences elsewhere over the last couple of weeks was great to go somewhere local and get great food. Take a bow Crinnions your food and service is 5 star.

Ate here Tuesday 23rd Aug 2022. Had Fred's Dirty Burger an was amazing. Can tell its freshly cooked and made with care! Was defeated by it though put me in food coma ha but nothing to fault. Highly recommended eating there!

Portions are very generous so go feeling hungry. Do not order a starter and then the mixed grill is my advice, we took at least half of it away with us for lunch the next day. Amazing value for money, friendly staff too, and varied menu. There are vegetarian options available.

Food was not the best. Beef on the Sunday dinner was over cooked and the whole plate drowning in gravy. The fish option was a nicely cooked piece of fish but let down by a terrible 'crust' of uncooked bread crumbs and dried herbs, greasy sautéed potatoes and a distinct tang to the scallops and King prawns. We had high expectations but we left disappointed and won't be rushing back ! Food average, scampi raw and tasted of dirty oil. Halloumi dry chalky , couldn't tell it was Halloumi cheese could have been any deep fried cheese . Home made chips were delicious, gammon was ok . Service was terrible, sat for an hour waiting for desert order to be taken, ended up leaving and paying at the bar . We felt it was very over priced for standard of food and service .

Nice outdoor seating. Didn't see the big menu but they have good "lite" bites (huge sandwich, great chips). Nice staff and proper adherence to social distancing rules (taking name and mobile, hand sanitizer available, tables far apart) which was reassuring.

Never disappointed, no matter how many times we've been. The place always maintains a homely welcoming atmosphere, with a varied menu to suit all tastes, all served by friendly and helpful staff. We always book, having been disappointed once for not getting a table. That was the only disappointment we've ever encountered there and that was from not being able to get there!!

Wonderful place! The food is so tasty and portions really generous. The team are SO warm and helpful, they made our night. We came back the day after for dessert and Fiona, the owner, personally found a way to squeeze us in, and gave us great tips for touring the local area. Amazing people.

Sunday 4 April, takeaway Sunday lunch for 4. Lovely traditional roast well packed and still hot. 10/10 and a lovely meal for my in-laws Diamond Wedding Anniversary. 10/10 good food & service.

Staff were friendly and the service was great. The food was delicious, both my starter and main. I ordered a mini mixed grill for my main and it was huge! A mixed grill must be massive. There was not much of a selection of cask ales though, just 2 pumps. The place was very busy, so it seems a very popular spot. I am planning to go back sometime soon.

A definite diamond in the rough! Looks like an old butchers outside, then you head through the bar to the restaurant and wow! Stunning! Really great meal in here fab portion sizes and a good price. Service was excellent and a wide selection of good draft ales too. Very impressed!

What a fantastic place, great local steakhouse. The place is full of character from the bar through to the dining area and outside. Staff were great very helpful and friendly. I had a 12oz Sirloin, rare which was cooked just right, served with chips and a beautiful little side salad which really made the dish. I opted for an extra fried egg instead of a sauce, my freind had peppercorn and assured me it was delicious...... would definitely go back 😋😋

We visited Crinnions last week whilst staying in a cottage up the road. It was do nice we returned the next evening. Such lovely friendly staff , they even made our dog's welcome in the bar area. Both of us had the chicken ballotine 2 day's in row as it was so delicious. I honestly can not recommend this place enough. We sat in lovely roomy bar area as had dog's with us but there is a very nice restaurant area also.

A nice little place with plenty of atmosphere. Good beer and ale choices and not a bad wine menu either. Gin is one of the house specialities and they have a huge range. Food is pretty good but not amazing, although there is lots of choice; fresh fish dishes aplenty. Nice beer garden, bet it's great in the summer!

My daughter and I decided to try this place for Sunday lunch. It's a lovely quaint little place with seating out back. The lunch was well cooked and lots of it, delicious. I would highly recommend a visit if your in the area. We were made to feel welcome and the staff were lovely.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! From the front of Crinnions you wouldn't believe what lies behind!! Me and my partner decided to have a meal in there as I'd been told they were very good so when we went in we just sat at the front in the first room. We were approached by a waitress called Linda who said that the next room was a bit quieter (which I preferred) so we went in there, this room was very quaint, really lovely. Lo and behold in front of me was a lovely little courtyard type area with outside seating and tables which again was very quirky and cosy. We chatted with Linda about how we were thinking of using this place as a wedding reception venue and unbelievably she showed us yet another area, "the walled garden" which they actually use for events like that. It was so secluded and I could imagine how beautiful a wedding reception would be here. Apparently they hire a marquee if wanted, put on buffets/food etc and bring a bar through as well. Looking from the front street you just cannot believe there was so much more behind. The food was fantastic, just as I was told. We will definitely be back for more. I would also like to say that Linda was excellent, she certainly knew her stuff about the place. You could tell by the way she spoke about Crinnions she loved working there. Thank you Linda for an enjoyable meal and look around The Secret Garden!!!

Marvellous... an accidental visit due to Deano's being unexpectedly closed, which actually proved to be a blessing in disguise. Had roast of the day the beef was cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth followed by syrup sponge and custard. It's unusual to find real home cooked flavour when you eat out but Crinnions manage achieve it. Can't wait for the next time I'm in the U.K. to visit again.
