Ordered for 9pm on just eat. Arrived at 9pm hot food amazing only fault for me no salad with parmo and no option to order as a side but food that was delivered is spot on

Friendly staff and first class service. I have had better fish and chips but had lots worse too. Probably second best in Durham but far cheaper than the other one. Chips were well cooked, battered fish was nice, chunky cod full of flavour only slightly let down by the size of the fish under the batter. But overall nice. Would definitely buy again.

My go to fish and chip shop. Always spot on for me, good quality fish and reasonably priced. Only been in the shop once which was a good couple year ago now so can’t really comment on that. Also the fish is sometimes very greasy but nothing too much to complain about, it still gets devoured!🐟.

I've only had the takeaway so can't comment on delivery. The fish and chips have always been really nice. Much better than others in Durham. I found the staff were fine. No complaints.

Best fish and chip shop in the North East. Reasonable prices, high quality food and cracking customer service. This company deserves more credit than it’s getting. A mile ahead of the fancy shop down the street, why would anyone choose that scam when better value better quality food is available 15 yards up the street. Amazing. Stanton’s ‘TIL I die.

Tried the gourmet burger. Oh my goodness! It was delicious. Free cheesy chips too when you show them you like on facebook. Apparently they do 2 for 1 on their fish and chips every tuesday and friday!!! Service was great too with a menu that goes on. Brilliant for fast food of all kinds

Love the lunch specials love the staff apart from a HORRIBLE woman who is rude and needs to learn manners Called Hailey. we come here everyday and spend £1.75 for the last 4 years and she acts like were pisstakers she wouldnt even let us have a fork with our food she said its 20p extra even though that day we bought 4 meals and spent over £10

The service in stantons is amazing bar from a women who is usally on nigh shift her name is halley sh is extremly rood and need to learn what custmor service is also manners are awfull Ive been in there every day for 1 year the one day i didnt buy anything as fancied a meal deal from tesco went in to get a fork out of there for my pasta she refused and said you have to buy somethig she was rude acusing me of stealing i asked the manger f the shop the next day and she said i should of been alowed a fork and i was very disrespectfull to a regular custmor.
