E. “. j.Meals here are fantastic, usually go for Sunday lunch but thought we'd try week day menu, on a Wednesday it's 3 courses for £10 wow !!!!! ......(small supplement on some dishes) we were blown away by quality and presentation of food for that price ....Dan a member of staff is really friendly and made us feel very welcome....many thanks ....sure to see you again soon.

Trip to Shadforth today, heard good things so it was one on the list to try.
Special menu 3 courses £17
Pan fried scallops, black pudding with apple puree and a Teryaki Pork Belly #baobuns for starters. Baobun was steamed to perfection, pork and sauce was 6/10 however I have had better bao buns. The scallops were nice but you have to have a taste for them when served alone there was a £5 surcharge for these also which i wouldnt pay again. Apple puree was a nice touch but I think it would have been better with the pork bao personally. The black pudding was delicious however.
The mains were a chicken parmo and a peri peri chicken hanging kebab. 🧀
Starting off with the chips! Wow amazing 10/10
The chicken parmo was tremendous for a pub parmo, sauce was beautiful under the cheese. Absolutely no complaints.
The hanging kebab went down a treat, although could have done with more marinade for flavour. Maybe another couple of chunks for portion size.
One of the best garlic dips I have had. Really strong the way it should be.

M.We found this place by accident & weren't disappointed at all,,, we dropped by one day for a look in & a drink, but went the other day for food & Whooooa it was lovely, its a nice size bar and restaurant, loads more sitting area outside too, bar staff are very pleasant & helpful, food is gorgeous,, definitely be going again, highly recommended, PS I had the sea food platter & it was beautiful.
D. B.Not sure about the outside appearance as I preferred the old colour as the dark paint makes it look a bit drab. Inside is a bit quirky which I liked, but it could do with a fresh lick of paint in a few areas and some of the chairs need cleaning as there are a few stains on the seat material. The staff were warm and friendly making you feel welcome as soon as you enter. We really enjoyed our meals which took a bit time to arrive but they were nice and hot when they did.

a. k.Lovely pub, warmly greeted and shown to our seats. We had the 3 course menu and the food was delicious. Service was amazing and the ladies were attentive and very friendly. Lovely place and will definitely be back.

K. L.We met up with friends (6 of us) on a Wednesday evening and unfortunately the table hadn’t been cleaned plus some of the cutlery was still dirty. The staff apologised and cleaned the table and changed all the cutlery. There was a shortage of meals which were listed on the menu and one of our party didn’t receive any chicken in her main course. The food we had was very good and the cost was great value. Hopefully this was just an off night.
c.we’ve been here a few times before and it’s always lovely we came here last Sunday for Sunday lunch it was lovely the mash potato was the best mash potato I’ve ever had and the whole meal was great my family all enjoyed it the staff are all very nice and friendly will be back to visit again soon
R. A.First time we've been, we moved to the area in 2020 but I'm clinically vulnerable due to blood cancer so I've had to be really careful with COVID.
Anyway we booked here because the have the outdoor benches inside little sheds. There was a heater under the table and a light above.
The food was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and atentive.
We would definitely recommend this place and will visit again.
