Reviews of Brgr
J.
Decent burger place. Friendly service. I liked the industrial setting. Good choice of burger, which came with a holder.
J.
I got the Chicken Hot Chic burger meal, and this did not disappoint one bit. I really enjoyed the flavour and texture of the burger and the chips were good too! Really decent priced meal located not too far from the city centre.
S. D.
Great place, awesome burgers, reasonably priced.
J. C.
I popped in for a quick lunch whilst passing through town. I was welcomed by a very friendly and polite group of staff. They have a huge selection of different burgers and meals on the menu, including lots of veggie and vegan options! My order was taken quickly and my food came out even quicker! A very fast and efficient restaurant with some amazing food!
S. S.
The food is great, the portion sizes are amazing and the buffalo chips were just amazing. You also get an ice cream scope for £1 and it tastes pretty good.
Lost one star because the chicken burger was good but the chicken breast was way bigger than the buns and I didn't want to just eat fired chicken breast after finishing the bun.
R. W.
Here with friends for a quick evening meal.. It's a burger bar, but a bit more classy. After a long day a double burger was the way to go packed with extras. Filling. Staff attentive to customers. Seems they do Veggie as well as chicken burgers. Around a tenner each with a portion of fries of various flavours too.
S. H.
Food way too Salty, fries too fatty, not even a plate or a tray to eat on, and in the back there's boxes and stuff lying around everywhere. So to conclude ... Pretty good, just what a burger joint should be like I guess. Not for everyday of course, heart hurts pretty badly and you should be drinking a lot for the next 12 hours.
J.
Really nice restaurant and takeaway. The burgers are amazing and great sizes, I highly recommend the festive burgers they have at the moment. A varied menu, but not so extensive that you get confused and can't decide what to get 🤔 Overall a great place, will be back time and time again 👍
A. I.
Delicious burger and fries - the fries are handcut with skin on and the best I've had. Meal deal is well worth it.
J. W.
Great food, music was on point. But the most redeeming factor of BRGR is the friendly staff. I didn’t catch her name but the waitress we had had great banter and was a welcome reprieve from having to worry about writing for my dissertation. See you all soon!
E. P.
The burgers are good, especially for the low price point (more expensive than McDonalds, but about the same as Burger King and low compared to the average gourmet burger place nowadays).
However, the three star rating is for sloppy service. I ordered a Highland Coo meal and received what was clearly the wrong burger since it had no haggis in it! I brought this to the attention of the waitress and, luckily, she was really nice and replaced gave me the right one as a replacement.
Even so, it's not good enough that the order was messed up in the first place. This never happens in McDonalds et al and it shouldn't be happening here either!
E. D.
Good burgers and great value, but by far the waitress was the star. Super friendly and absolutely hilarious! Thank you :)
S.
The falafel burger with Chipotle sauce is quite nice (you need to ask for extra Chipotle to be added). The place is friendly and warm. I wish they had more comfortable seating. Overall, it's a nice place.
E. M.
Burgers and chips were very good. I would say that it probably is the burger place with the best quality to price ratio in the Glasgow/Edinburgh band.
L. R.
Not a bad spot.
Pros:
Really delicious food
Friendly staff
Well priced
Veggie and vegan options
Ample seating and space
Cons:
Longer wait than you'd think
Plastic water glasses for dine in,
Pretty well everything is disposable.
Abnormally loud music.
I agree with other reviews that it could use an adult on site.
Huge piles of waste outside the spot, bags and bags of the trash created by not just having some reusables.
V. Y.
Burgers and Cajun Fries were delicious, and I loved the burger holder. Nuggets seem the frozen sort but I can't even complain because they were really nice too, if a little expensive for frozen ones. Highly recommended.
C. “. T.
First of all I want to say thank the lord for this place!
It may not have the best poutine but it has pretty tasty poutine.
The burgers are super tasty, albeit a little filling (great I know). The price for everything is really cheap and if you’re wanting a cheap lunch or dinner then you should definitely give this place a shot!
The place is average size and can get quite cosy when it gets busy!
I have to tell you about the milkshakes though. The milkshakes are AMAZING. They’re out of this world! I really recommend you get one if you can!
I also love the cute touch of the burger ‘hawder’. Nice idea so that you don’t get your fingers dirty eating!
H. E.
No better burger on the price/quality ratio in Edinburgh! I have a great visit every time and always find myself coming back for more :)
M. B.
Excellent value and great burgers. Better than any Five Guys or McDonald's for quality and price.
A.
Good value, but vegan friends got served meat patties due to waitress error. Was quite snarky on us challenging such. Another waitress solved the issue and was very nice
J.
Affordable and tasty burgers, great for when you're on the go. The hot chick came with a nice chipotle mayo sauce and perfectly breaded chicken.
R. S.
Second visit and I am thinking 'overrated'. While cooked to order the time taken us excessive as they squeeze in remote orders. The chips are nice, though portions get smaller as time goes on. The burgers are average. Try this place. Then revisit your usual high street burger shop.
J. Q.
Honestly for a shop called Brgr, their burgers were really bland and sopping wet buns. However, the poutine was not bad at all! Good drink selection and a decently priced menu overall.
K.
The burger was pretty good for the price (bacon and cheese burger).
Avoid the poutine at all costs! The gravy would give James Martin a heart attack. See attached photos
N. S.
Love this place. Me and my wife always stop here for lunch when visiting Edinburgh as the food is reasonably priced and made fresh. The staff are always polite and friendly.
c. k.
Proper burgers!! All food was great, chilli cheese bites are a must along with any of the beef burgers!
Would have been a 5 if there were a couple cushions on the seats 😂
T. L.
Way better than Five Guys for a significantly lower price point. Poutine fries were good, but the chocolate shake was amazing! I've had quite a few milkshakes which were super thin, but this was one of the thickest shakes I've ever had! Fast and friendly service, too!
C. M.
I love the burgers here. I'm vegan and love the Mooless with cheese and the Spicy cluck-less burgers, they are both really tasty. The chips are great too. Crispy on the outside and fluffy of the inside. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try, everyone I've taken here has loved the food.
P. C.
Visiting Edinburgh we found the cool, slightly gritty but clean BRGR. The food is good, normal portion size and consequently affordable, with very clever burgers, and chicken sandwiches. Bonus that they cater to vegetarian and vegan. Extra bonus that they are well educated on the importance of allergens, as we require Gluten-Free for a member of the family with Coeliac disease. They were even good enough that when we had accidentally ordered an item that was not safe for GF diets, they corrected us. The final touch is that they served the gluten free food first and separate, followed by the rest of the food.
I. R. A.
They were out of everything on the entire vegan menu and we had to wait 50 minutes for food because the waiter forgot to give our order to the chef. Got the falafel burger, it was fine.
J. P.
Ace burgers, slightly more than the usual chains but well worth it
S. C.
Decent burger for a good price. Very friendly staff
T.
Girlfriend recommended this place and I absolutely loved it! Superb value for money, especially the burgers and shakes. Lovely environment and even lovelier staff, really made sure everything was great. Will definitely be going again!
Z.
Really nice place really nice centre staff really nice food good location price's are good especially for the location definitely worth a go
R.
Came after lunch and the restaurant wasn't too busy, the staff accommodated out seating needs and we're very cheerful. It's a very cheap and cheerful place with a nice selection of burgers and shakes to choose from. I recommend the katsu burger and/or katsu fries, they were really tasty.
W. R.
Nice burgers, fair price and friendly staff.
G. E.
Well priced burgers, served by friendly staff.
Q. Z.
Mayo chicken burger was good. But the last experience gave me a very dry and salty chicken filling. Decent price.
C. B.
Good value. Veggie burger was nice. Quick and friendly service
D. W.
This has become the go-to Burger place for me in south Edinburgh now. It's great value and the burgers are thick and juicy, and so far have arrived never overdone yet still warm. The taste is excellent and the sweet potato fries pretty good too. Gluten free at no extra cost. Keep it up BRGR! 😁
L. C.
My burger warm... dry and not fresh... and really needed a pinch of salt.
Quality of meat was good... but not freshly cooked.
I won't be going back... not value for money 😕
M. C. (.
I love this place. Everything I've had from the small but perfect menu has been incredible quality and always very tasty. The staff were friendly and service was great.
Brgr have quite a low key style, no unneeded plates or fancy cutlery.
For the price it is the best burger in town. Take away the cost factor its still the best burger in town.
M. N.
The poutine1 fries and the kinder milkshake are really good. We didn't like the burgers so much but everything was really cheap
J. L.
Good, cheap food! Doesn't feel like a fast food place due to the service & seating, but has the speed of one which makes for a very pleasant and casual eating experience. Don't expect to be able to spend much longer than 30 minutes though, you'll probably be presented with the bill right after finishing your meal.
M. D.
Really good place friendly stuff, lovely burgers at a very good price!
M. B.
Great fast food with an entire vegan menu! Taste good for the very low price.
H. W.
Lovely friendly staff. Very basic food ( no plates, food wrapped in tinfoil and cardboard cups) but we really enjoyed the experience.
Going to go back ! 😃
C. F.
Had the 6 BRGR takeaway deal from itison and it was great. Easy to cook, quality steak mince burgers, tasty sides and rolls, and the sauce is amazing. Was a winner with the kids too. Would 100% get this again.
P. H.
I only eat here once every few months or so, but I think the quality of their burgers has dropped, just a bit greasy and the nice little card holders have disappeared must be cost cutting. Other than that still one of the best in town, let's hope they improve instead of cut costs.
D. P.
Great burgers, fries and shakes! Nice employees and everything is freshly made.
D. T.
Reasonable lunch option, albeit a bit disappointing. You don't order at a bar, yet the burger you get is wrapped in tin foil and you don't get any plates or cutlery, even when sitting in.
Prices are good, but portions aren't huge. The patty I got was significantly smaller than the bun, and the rest of the ingredients weren't particularly tasty.
The staff was friendly.
F. E.
Great burger!! Love the shake!!
J. *.
Very much like a fast food chain. Enjoyable but minimalistic. Service was fine and the menu had some interesting items. They had a range of shakes that were very nice. I had oreo and its was delicious.
R. M.
Typically quite busy, especially during Fringe of course, but the fries are to die for (esp. the rosemary sea salt ones) and the fried chicken SUPER juicy. Even with it being busy, the service is friendlier than most places I've been in Scotland, and the food comes out quickly, hot and fresh. Great management at this one.
H. A.
Cajun chicken burger is lit. Definitely worth it.
J. P. M.
Delicious burger and very nice poutine 👍
A. L.
Central location, reasonable price and good food
K. B.
Amazing food, great prices
C. M.
Better than expected. Burgers were good, milk shake was delicious! Sweet potato fries could have been warmer. Good for the price, staff friendly and service quick.
A. L.
Great food, excellent creamy milkshakes! Very good value, went on a weekday so got a good quality burger for £4. Onion rings and sweet potato fries here are good! Service was a little slow but it was pretty busy so understandable.
H. E.
Great food. Took my elderly parents here and wasn't sure they would like it as it's mostly burgers, tacos and loaded fries, but they really enjoyed it. The staff were really lovely as we had a large group with children and they were patient and accomodating.
S. L.
Fantastic burgers, good and unique choices of both fries and burgers. Nice atmosphere. Was our first visit yesterday and was an easy choice again today. Thanks for the great service!
M. D.
Excellent burgers for a good price. Available for seat in it take away.
Some of their deluxe burgers are to die for.
They also do meal deals with S variety of combinations if you ask.
The wait for the food is never longer than 10 minutes from my experience and you have an option of phoning in and ordering for collection.
M. S.
Best burger in Scotland and the milkshake was incredible! Go for it, it's savagely delish.
E. P.
Brilliant burgers for a brilliant price! If you're looking for good quality and good value - this is your best bet! Located right in the centre of the city, cheap food, great service and absolutely delicious! My favourites are the halloumi burger and the breaded chicken with bacon and cheese! I take everyone here, though, and no matter the order, I've never had complaints!
L. M. L.
Great food for price, unfortunately before I could take any pictures I have finished eating already, just be careful with rosemary & parmesan chips seasoning.. there was so much rosemary in there that seems it was a prank. But it did not destroyed the experience, after removing the excess rosemary, everything was good. The BURGER itself was flawless, simple but with a great tasty beef. Make sure you try their mayonnaise too.
D. A.
My regular stop for dinner or lunch, courteous service, wonderful staff, bright and busy atmosphere and oh yeah, the food is so sumptuously delicious I can't stop myself not to come in almost every week.
A tasty range of burgers. Amazing milkshakes and all the sides you could ever dream of, this is certainly an amazing place for any burger or milkshake aficionado.
S. Y.
Great value burger restaurant which is very refreshing in this cuisine. Most burgers are either £4 or £5 depending on which day you go. Don't let the prices raise any doubt on the quality or quantity however, these are very fine burgers!
Only issue we had was their poutine didn't use Cheese Curds and used cheddar.
M. A.
Very nice and friendly staff. The burgers are true 100% beef (also chicken, veggie etc) and very tasty. Good sauce too.
A. M.
Nice and clean set up, great staff, and a great tasting Katsu and curry burger, they also sell beer if you want it, and only a block from the Royal Mile. My only negative, the burger didn't have the look of what I would call a burger, the look of it needed some work, but as a famous chef once said, "as long as it tastes good ". 😊
E. W.
Good burgers, good sizes and good prices. Deluxe burger was delicious as was the poutine
C. R.
The burgers are an amazing price (£5 for a small one or £7 for a bigger one) and delicious, the milkshakes are good (£3), but the poutine is not very good, small portion for its price and the cheese curds look like scrambled eggs. Service depends on how busy it is and they don't always have everything that's on their menu.
M. A. K.
The falafel burger is nice and for £5 you can't go wrong. The sweet potato fries are also nice, though I did expect more. All in all, a nice place to eat at with friends, but not if you're very hungry.
C. W.
A lot better than I expected. Chosen by my son - definitely aimed at young people/ families with kids. Turned out well as service was spectacularly quick. Hugely popular - we were lucky to get a table just before a huge rush. Queue was out of the door when we left. Burgers come to the table wrapped in foil - no plates. If you're in a hurry, happy to have a burger & arrive before the queue builds up, it's a good choice (especially if it's raining :) )
J. K.
Really good food for the price and the vibe and decor was far better than expected for the price point
E. P.
Always a great stop when I meet my other half on his lunch break.
Pricing is outrageously cheap for the amount and quality of the food available.
The halloumi sticks are magnificent as is poutine #1. Hot Coo is one of the best burgers on the menu (after intensive research/many trips!)
Great casual dining and a firm favourite.
A. W.
Great burgers with lots of different varieties of fries, including sweet potato fries or typical potato fries with different sauces at around 7 pounds per person. Affordable price for students looking for a quick bite
J. H.
The wings looked uncooked and we were told it was because the blood vessels broke while the chicken was cooking. Part of my wings were still very very red and pink, while some were purple and red. I ended up not eating the full wings. The staff, however, were extremely nice and helpful. Whatever we needed, they gave us.
N. B.
Cheap and cheerful but don't let either characteristic deceive you - this is a worthy addition to the Scottish capital's burger scene and the mighty tasty decent-sized burgers are probably the best value I've ever had (in the United Kingdom that is). Get some friends and go there on a weekday when they sell all burgers for £4. If you're anywhere over 30 chances are you'll feel a bit old, but at that price and quality, BRGR definitely worth it.
A. B.
Average burgers which were slightly dry. Really liked the poutine as I haven't seen it a lot around here. Considering the price, I'd still recommend this place.
E. S.
Cheap burgers, tasty meat.
Drinks are too expensive.
Very good service.
Not the best place in Edinburgh to take a burger, but a good one for a quick bite.
S. M.
The chicken burger tasted very odd, and the texture was quite tough. Mac and cheese was very disappointing. The Kinder shake was lovely though.
P. W.
As always, excellent food & friendly & polite staff. Highly recommended. The only place I eat when I visit Edinburgh.
J. A.
Good size portions, fair prices. I spent not that much, £30, that was for chicken strips, highlander burger, cheese burger with bacon, poteen, 2 sweet potato fries (1 with rosemary salt and parmesan cheese), a beer and 2 milkshakes. I have paid more than that in some other places. My 9 year-old daughter loved it. They do have a kids menu for a wee bit less but I don't know if the sweet potato fries were on it. I'm so taking the bairn back she ate everything and she's a bit picky about her food.💜💜💜💜💜
M. C.
My burger (Big Cheese) was good, not great. I would say not worth £4. I got a Ferrero shake, and on the menu it says the sizes are "small" and "regular", so I ordered a "regular". I was brought a "small", and upon asking, the waiter said that the sizes were "regular" and "large". Didn't correct him at the moment, but after consulting the menu, found out he was wrong. The shake was good, nonetheless. Average burger place with average service.
S. a. B.
Delicious burgers at a great price! Our server was very friendly also!
E. C.
Friendly service. Got seated straight away. Had to wait a while for order to be taken. Nice burger, nothing special though. Prices were good.
P. L.
Nice place with great burgers (£4 from Monday to Friday, £5 on Saturday and Sunday, for all burgers). The food wasn't just cheap but also tasted great, so you get a great value!
When I got there it was quite full but the staff was very friendly and I still got my food quite fast. I can definitely recommend this place!
G. S.
Was dying for them to open up in Edinburgh and am bloody glad they have! This place is the perfect mix of quality munch and value for money. Personally, my favourite is the hot coo with a side of cajun chips - can't be beat! Make sure and have your chips with some of their own BRGR sauce.
D. K.
Cheap. Tasty. Quick service. Nice place for a quick burger. Popular with my sons (Think Five Guys but less sore on the pennies).
K. C.
The food here is delicious and reasonable prices
K. R.
The best halloumi burger 🍔 😋
C. 0.
Delicious poutine, yummy burgers, affordable main menu. It's a good quality fast food, with a decent selection of £4.00 burgers, and £2.00 milkshakes. Don't expect a-grade meat, but it well above average for Edinburgh fast or pub food. Prices go up if you order through Deliveroo.
R. P.
For the price, the burgers are filling and delicious. Milkshakes are the bomb. For me the crowning jewel is the chilli cheese fries. Always so delicious.
P.
One of the best burger places I've ever been.
Decor and music were great and the staff was amazing.
Didn't wait long for 2 burgers + fries (about 15min) and they were DELICIOUS!
H. L.
Fantastic staff, really helpful and cheery. Food was amazing. I had the Ruben burger and fries with rosemary salt and parmesan cheese. Absolutely delicious.
D. R.
Very good for the price! Juicy burgers with delicious toppings for £5. My only complaint is the poor beer selection, there are no IPAs on the menu.
K. A.
Really good burgers and fries with a really reasonable price. £4 during the week and £5 at weekends. Friendly staff and yummy food. Good veggie options. Definitely recommend.
R. F.
We had the lovely Simon (I believe) serving us may have been a manager. Great chat and a lovely guy. Helped my very undecided other half choose of the menu. I’m addicted to the buffalo macaroni. Portion sizes are great and food is delicious and bloody cheap for Edinburgh. There is MANY places in Edinburgh that will skin you for more for less tasty food. Good job guys! We will be back for more 🍔
m. h. 5.
Loved this place. Amazing food at great prices. Also loved the fact that the food is served in tinfoil. It means you don't have to worry about anybody else's germs on plates etc. Service is super fast and the tables were cleared and cleaned quickly. Will definitely be back.
C. S.
A new experiance for me. In the city this deep finding a gem like this was wonderful. I like good food and this place has it. Service with a big welcoming smile seated and given ample time to browse the well formed clear cut menu. Whilst short on overall options it had everthong I require from a burger joint mix and match burger building!! And beef chilly chips!!! My burger arrived and was... huge soft and juicy with layers piled high. My only gripe would be the drinks, an ample selection however im not a belever in the in-resturant use of canned soda...
Overall an amazing experiance and "I'll be back" (as arnie would say)
J. T.
Excellent service, great food, brilliant staff. If you are looking for somewhere to eat cheaply this is the place! They do a steak strip burger for £8! Outstanding value!
l. C.
Lots of vegan mains! Would go for a double patty next time since not too filling. Would love to see some vegan milkshakes introduced - felt a bit left out that I couldn't have one with my friends. Also their playlist was on point!
J. K.
Not the best burgers in town but very tasy and definitely the cheapest(£5) and worth every penny. Bit small but again it's only £5. Overall I left very satisfied
A. B.
Extensive menu. Vegan options available! The burgers were good, but nothing special. Great service and prices were not too bad.
C. D.
2 years ago I really rated the burgers. However, prices have gone up, service is not as good, burgers seemed to have shrunk and never seem hot when they arrive at your table.
T. C.
Is not a fancy place, but very comfy, and you can get a great burguer for a little price
l. o.
Fantastic food friendly staff extremely good value for money
L. M.
Great food simple pricing
F. M. K.
You can get a nice burger for £5!
Place always has a good soundtrack playing, nice young décor, friendly staff and it's very well located near the University of Edinburgh. Definitely recommended!
M.
Burger good enough.
Service nice.
Price is valuable.
But the wings haven't taste....just put the hot sauce on top. May be chef forgot to do marinated.
So far good shop than mc Dxnald.
Cheers !
R. H.
For the price (£7 for the most expensive burger) the burgers were outstandingly good quality. The inside was smaller then expected but out seat by the window was lovely and roomy.
J. C.
Food is enjoyable and of good value, definitely a go-to for a cheap meal. Service is usually good, never had major issue - speaking as someone who comes once every so often.
R. L.
Great food and atmosphere! 😊
G. E.
I visited recently with my family and we all enjoyed the meal a lot, the food is very good and they have a wide variety on offer, the prices for food and drink are amazing. The staff were very friendly and attentive we will be back again and again highly recommended restaurant.
A. M.
Great food for a very reasonable price given the location. Always a reliable choice for both lunch and dinner.
Never had any problems with the food or staff on my many visits.
V.
Modern cosy burger joint styling with friendly service. Food is portioned very well and is extremely affordable, you won't find a meal and a beer much cheaper and definitely not to this standard. The burgers are made using very high quality beef and are cooked and seasoned perfectly. A nice bonus is the poutine they offer as an upgrade to your chips. Best poutine in Scotland and the best I have tried outside of Canada. Cheese curds do look a little like scrambled eggs but the flavour and texture is right.
Raccoon approved.
V. B.
Lovely burger and fries!!!
A. L.
Very good food though prices have gone up a little. Service can sometimes be a little slow, especially for a fast food joint. Still the best best value burger place in Edinburgh.
J.
So great! It has that homemade style cooking that me and my family adore. The staff is excellent and so is the food. The whole feel is lovely, and it's located in an ideal spot.
S. T.
Best burgers in town 😋
C. M.
What is there not to love about Brgr? Tasty burgers, scrummy fries and fantastic value for money. I will keep coming back until I've tried the whole menu 😊
A. J.
Fast service (even when it's busy), tasty food, and attentive and friendly staff. It's easy to order and they're not frugal with the ingredients, which makes the food here great value!
T. B.
Fantastic little place, the best chicken and bacon burger I've ever had, chips are absolutely amazing too! Staff are very nice & friendly, nice casual atmosphere and didn't feel rushed, everyone said goodbye when we left and hello when we walked in, will definitely be back soon
A. H.
Great bigger bic mac!
I. “. J.
Great price, good food, nice staff. Not the most exciting of menus but it's the kind of place you go when you don't want that! Great milkshakes too.
A. H.
Affordable and great food foe a quick bite . Value for money. In hindsight , would have done two burgers rather than one burger and sweet potatoe fries ...
R. C.
Food was great, unbelievable value!
J. N.
Awesome burger joint. This is what a homegrown burger place should be like. The poutine 2 fries are very yummy, as is there blue cheese and bacon burger. Prices outstanding.
S. G.
Very delicious burgers, excellent price, very good service with a smile. All around a very pleasant experience, would definitely recommend!!
P. K.
Good burgers. Decent prices. Staff is polite. The tables could be wider but I understand limited space. Recommended.
c. c.
Ordered food thru uber eats recieved an indian instead. Amy did her best to make sure I recieved my correct order. She was great help.
G. M.
Really good burger and chips. Double bacon cheeseburger and piri piri fries highly recommend for the hungry. Quick and friendly service too. Will go back.
M. P.
Had a classic beef burger and onion rings, cheap, tastes like a stereotypical fast food burger ergo yummy
Cool shake flavours, got Ferrero, delicious
Minimalistic interior, I believe its geared towards students,
Paper towels, no plates
Bill arrived before finishing shakes, I think that's a good thing but I think some people wouldn't appreciate it
Nice experience overall
R. T.
Friendly staff and good burgers. The prices in my opinion are bit too steep, but otherwise I have no complaints.
B. G.
They didn't have the haggis burger :( and my cajun chicken burger was only ok. My friend had a beef burger that was really really good, and my other friend had a falafel burger that was also great. The fries were tasty (rosemary fries were especially good but not necessarily worth the extra price) and the milkshakes were alright. They were delicious, but delicious because they were milkshakes; as milkshakes go, they weren't amazing. I appreciated the atmosphere though.
J. N. C.
Good cheap bites place with offers during the week. The burgers taste very good and they even offer a vegetarian choice with halloumi cheese that was awesome. Don't miss the poutine.
N. T.
Meh. Cheap food and low quality for a cheap price. You get what you paid for.
J. L.
Food was really nice, service could have been better. The waiter seemed pretty impatient and rude, especially when we sat down on entry, when there wasn't anything/one to tell us otherwise
D. M.
The burgers are ok, not fantastic but worth the £4 you can get them on offer for right now. The service is good and the decor and music really nice.
m. I.
Amazing value burgers and great taste too the service was good considering it was peak time 😊 BUT plastic straws come on its 2019 switch to paper guys! so only 4/5 for that
K. R.
Very good mid price burger joint, popped in on the fly and pleasantly surprised. Quality burger, rarely had better at a "posh" burger place.
D. P.
Nice place, on the average.
Bbq smokie burger not extremely nice presentation but good beef.
Nice place to have a cheap meal.
D. B.
Good quality burgers at a decent price. Ideal for a quick bite to eat. One star deducted because the floor was dangerously slippy throughout.
C. A.
Great food, easily compares to other gourmet burger joints at a ridiculously low price. Two people ate for what it'd cost for one at GBK, excellent value and quality.
E.
Amazing halloumi burger, milkshakes are great and prices aren't terrible. Perfect hangover cure. Tasty. A more affordable five guys.
C. D.
Nice burgers and decent service. Portions are a bit small for the price. Good for pre theartre lunch/dinner if in a rush.
T. W.
Service was slow, queues for tables - and worst of all disposable crockery / cutlery (not being recycled and bad environmentally). However burgers were inexpensive and tasty.
J. C.
Amazing place for a quick bite.
Great food, at a great price. Can't argue with £4 burger.
R. M.
Tasty burgers, less expensive and halal options available.
A. M.
Super cheap burgers and they taste great. Not quite the best in the world but way better than McDonalds and other fast food like that.
G. C.
Excellent service, hygiene and as always a fantastic burger with tasty fries.
A. H.
Really great staff who dealt well with Fringe crowds. Good burgers and drinks. Easy to deal with. Recommend
A. Y.
Good price, good food, good selection, quick delivery, nice driver.
F. F.
If you want a cheap burger, rather go to McDonald because their burgers taste better than this ones. Is cheap but definitely not a tasty....It is like bad fastfood with a table service.
J. D.
Great value burger bar with fast service and fantastic food. With burgers from £4 during the week it's a brilliant place to go for a quick bite.
C. N.
Good, delicious burgers that are served quick
A. G.
Cheap burgers. Slow service. But thumbs up.
S. B.
This place was totally amazing. Prices are so cheap. The Reuben was delish and the Ferrero Rocher milkshake was Heaven. Thank you for a great experience.
P. G.
Everything was really tasty - burger, chicken nuggets and fries. 4/5 because their fries side is too small in terms of quantity.
C. S.
Absolutely amazing food.
Would highly recommend trying the burgers, and if you are still hungry then try the chicken wings. Brill.
S. H.
Decent place, prices have gone up and portion sizes have decreased markedly over the last couple of years but still a cheapish place to get a burger.
O.
Their Burgers are really good and rather inexpensive. Definitely a good place to visit when you want to get something quick and good.
s. l.
Went to BRGR with my son, cousin, and Auntie. We all had a nice time, good food, and good service . The staff were very helpful. Looking forward to going back again.
M. D.
awesome place and well worth the wait. price is very good and at a very reasonable price. service is ok and food arrives promptly . can't wait to visit again.
J. H.
Brilliant shakes, and amazing burgers at £5. Halloumi sticks were fantastic but the poutine was a little underwhelming.
R. M.
Lovely burgers, great onion rings and fries, portions are slightly small but prices are great!
O. S.
The burger was mediocre but I don't think one can expect too much for £4. However, I really appreciated the milk shake.
R.
Fantastic prices, food tastes amazing, and friendly staff. Looking forward to going back! They deliver as well which is great
P. “. D.

R. P.

d. c.
No frills but the burgers are lovely, the pepper sauce putine is sub optimal however
S. M. T.
Why is the floor always so slimy?! Tasty and fast burgers, but the poutine used to remind me of when I lived in Montreal and Ottawa. Why did it have to change?! I miss poutine!
D.
Good food, reasonably prices. Shame about the excessive single use plastics, straws, forks, sauce holders just to name a few.
v. s.
I felt their burger buns were really good. Complemented the patties really well
S. D.
Inexpensive, decent food. Burger was warm, not hot, but everything else was fine
a. r.
Everything halal and delicious
C. D.
Best burger I've ever had. Not quite as cheap as they make it out to be but definitely worth it.
K. L.
Great price, great food. I highly recommend the poutine, a dish with fries served with gravy and melted cheese. To die for.

A. C.
Cheap, fantastic meal! Delicious, great service, and quick. We will definitely be back!
