Reviews of Five Guys Edinburgh Fort Kinnaird
M. M.
Solid 5 guys experience. Staff have always been on the ball. Food is served quickly and to order. If you don't mind paying a premium for fast food and want a quality Burger and fries every time this is the place. Good access with disabled parking outside. All on ground floor. Only challenge will be getting an end slot on a table for a wheelchair. Clean bright interior design makes it easy to navigate for my partially sighted wife. Order the medium fries for the whole family, easily enough for 4. Milkshakes are worth it.
S. G.
Absolutely love the burgers and fries here you can have as many toppings as you want and they are all free. Nothing has been frozen, all burgers made fresh.
The milkshakes are awesome. There burgers are more expensive than the other high street burger shops but it is well worth the money as they are in a different league.
M. H.
Burgers were excellent but pricey. Fries were also excellent. Portions are large. Surroundings in the restaurant are basic but I guess that is their "look". We ate outside as it was a lovely evening. Well worth trying.
L. S.
Tasty food cooked to order wifh lots of options for toppings on your burger or hot dog. The chips are very tasty and more substantial than other fast food outlets. The premises were clean and the milkshakes are delicious and indulgent. A bit pricey for fast food but the standard is higher than similar places.
b. s.
Tried this place as a bit of a change from the usual McD or KFC.
Admittedly it's more expensive, but, and this is a big but, the burgers and chips, yes chips, were excellent and large portions. Regular fries 🍟 were more than enough, but so good they all had to be eaten.
Definitely worth a visit.
L. W.
Very quiet when we went in just after opening. Chips were amazing and roasting hot. Burger was tepid. Pickles left off one of the burgers but we did not complain.
Super getting a tub of peanuts again. We've missed them!
N. M.
Decent burger but not as amazing as everyone goes on about. I've had as good and better elsewhere. The milkshake was amazing but very high cost!
A. M.
Food is consistently good. The free monkey nuts are a nice touch. The chips are just so tasty and unique.
B. M.
Simply awesome burgers. Great service from very friendly, happy staff. Restraunt is super clean.
E. S.
Chips are too salty for me but otherwise a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Reese's milkshake is lovely!
S. V.
Great tasting burger, huge portion of chips, enough for two to share, and one of my favourite places to enjoy thick and delicious milkshakes.
E. M. M.
Best burger restaurant in the park, but it was quite busy, and it was a bit messy. The hotdogs are not too good looking
J. L.
I've eaten a Lotta burgers but without a doubt the best has to be five guys, yes you pay more than say McDonald's, Burger King but your getting a way more better burger and fries by a mile the milkshakes and hot dogs are very tasty, cleanest toilets I've ever seen too, when I'm at Fort kinnaird I always treat myself to a five guys, highly recommended 10/10 🍔🍟😋
I. R.
Loving their biscoff shake. Sooo good ❤️
A. C.
Love a Five Guys, bought my first grilled cheese n surprisingly really nice. Recommended adding bacon
J. H.
The Ft Kinnaird 5 Guys is quick, easy and simple. The food is quite tasty and always fresh, made to order, and made to the same standard.
K.
Just in for a milkshake this time and as delicious as ever. Peanut butter is my go to and it's amazing but I added chocolate to that today. Amazing. Highly recommend. Perfect milkshake. Service is always really great too.
E. B.
I enjoyed every mouthfull had the cheese burger and fries it was delicious..I'll be back
D.
5 stars for Five Guys, one of our favourite places to eat when we visit the Fort. The burgers and fries are really good also unlimited fountain drinks.
A. B.
It's better than other burger based franchise fast food (not that this is hard), but it's also brutally expensive for what it is. The milkshakes met with the kids approval and the burger was good, but the hot dogs were a bit chewy and the cajun fries inedibly salty and over spiced. Stick to the core offering of burgers and shakes and you'll be OK.
F. (.
Sadly when we went the chip fryer was down, chips are usually top notch.. Burger always top class.. No other burger comes close.. However you do pay for it.
S. H.
Always very tasty, pretty expensive tho for what it is but happy to pay it ☺
Loads of combo's too.
J.
Great taste! If you are wanting a burger that's better quality and taste than McDonald's but not as fancy as a high end restaurant then this place is where to be! Been a couple of times and no complaints
M. P.
Nice burgers and good fries with a drink. Was good!
Z. H.
The chips weren't piping hot and this meant i couldn't enjoy them. The milkshake was nice but large was a medium size and was given the shake well before i got the chips. This was an expensive meal and not worth it.
I guess it was OK food but not worth it.
B. W.
Decent burgers and kinds love the hot dogs and milkshakes, which are the best of the genre. Bit expensive, very basic place to eat that would totally put many people off, especially at the price. Fine for quick visit or takeaway.
J. S.
Restaurant loses a star as the tables didn't appear to be cleaned between visits!
Food was great, totally forgot the size of the chip portions and got a medium fries. BIG mistake. A medium would be fine for two people, just a bit much for one.
S. J.
Food was excellent, service was fast, staff were friendly
T. B.
Burgers are in a league of their own. Best burger I have had in a long time. Went big and had the bacon and cheeseburger. Chips are awesome aswell. Definitely worth recommending
C. R.
The burger, fries and milkshake are always awesome, if expensive. Sadly they have stopped doing peanuts "because of covid" - apparently nobody has figured out that they could keep them behind the counter and give to customers on request. Disappointing, this was always part of the Five Guys experience for me
S. L.
First time visiting this restaurant. Lovely burgers and proper chips. Served quickly and plenty of tables. Seating area was clean and cleaned frequently. Will visiting again as we all enjoyed our visit.
L. B.
Very good burger and fries. Great service and very clean.
I. F.
Amazing burgers...need I say more 😋
L. M.
I've had 2 deliveries. 1st delivery was good 2nd was cold
C. D.
Great burgers, hotdogs and milkshakes. A bit pricey, but I'd rather pay more for good food that I enjoy, than less for something I don't like. Staff are always great and restaurant spotless.
J. E.
Fantastic burger with free toppings and dozens of drinks
S. W.
First time visiting a five guys, although slightly expensive for what's essentially a slighter upscale McDonald's the burgers were unbelievably good. The only slight downside (which is why it isn't a five star) is they were really greasy. Cut the grease by about 50% and that would have been one of the best burgers I'd ever had.
M. N. B.
As Five Guys goes this is the best one I have been to. I have been here a number of times and the quality of food and service has remained consistently good.
J. M.
Seems to always be busy and the staff struggle to keep up. It's so noisy my order was taken incorrectly (not that if impacted the taste of my burger). Is it worth going with that said? Maybe if you've not been in a long time and want to take away.
A. B.
Tasty burgers. Bit expensive. No atmosphere though. Fine for a quick bite while shopping.
P. D.
The owner of carphone warehouse had a good burger in NYC and was so impressed with 5 guys he decided to open the chain throughout the uk the fort kinnaird branch is a large space well staffed and clean it’s a much better experience than the cramped city centre store the food still takes a while to come but tastes great pity about the prices
M. D.
Great fast food chain focused on burgers, chips and milkshakes. Fast service and really good food and combinations. The only con I found so far is staff's inability to take my order for smaller burger. They have it on the menu, but every time I asked for it I was presented with the regular size with no explanation. Not really a terrible con, but it's not exactly what I wanted. I ate it anyways since it was so good :)
P. S.
This is my favourite five guys in Scotland, its never too busy the staff are great and the chips are fantastic.
There is plenty of places to park easily and very accessible including for wheelchairs.
I also have a theory about the chips here, that you need to in cup them asap. The longer they sit in the cup the softer and soggyer they get.
S. E.
I love this burger place! The food is so good and the staff are really friendly. If two people are going you only need the medium fries and even then you might struggle to finish them. Their milkshakes are amazing and I love the bottomless drink with so many options to choose from. The only slightly bad thing I have to say is their prices are slightly higher than id like but the quality of food is worth it
L. M.
Great burger place! The burgers do taste great. You can pick your own toppings. I personally didn’t like the chips as were far too salty for my liking. The food is pretty expensive considering it is a burger and chips. The actual restaurant area is laid back and set out American diner style.
M. C.
Best burger in town! And definitely best cajun chips ever!! Its pretty straightforward to order. You can make your burger just the way you like it and they do pretty good milkshakes too. And whilst you wait, there's free peanuts!
The place is clean and all the food is fresh. Nothing is frozen! Highly recommended by myself and the boys!!
r. c.
Ordered food thinking I was ordering a hotdog ended up with a burger and they only gave us 2 portion of chips when we ordered 3 they did give us our 3rd portion when we asked but by then I was wasn't going to start with the wrong meal for 2 of us . The food was nice just not what I ordered. I'm not going to go again.
N.
Wonderful, food is always to a great standard and the drinks are very cool! My only complaint is that five guys still use plastic straws! It isn’t hard to switch and it’s great for the environment. The burgers are great and I am looking forward to coming back!
L. S.
Small menu but their chips are amazing!
H. B.
Banoffee Milkshake was out of this world! Chips were good too. I liked the burger but two patties is too much for me. Didn't realise that one patty is a "mini burger"or something
L. Y.
I really do love the burgers and seasoned fries here. I dropped a star for two reasons: 1. Its pretty expensive for fast food (£26 for 2 burgers, one fries to share and 2 drinks) and 2. The music is a bit loud for my ageing ears... I'm sure the kids probably like that sort of vibe ;) Really tasty food though and the servers are always really friendly.
M. T.
There were 7 people working there which confused me somewhat. Burger and fries were the standard expected of the place, which is high. For a family of 5 with 3 teenage kids, 2 large fries was plenty.
E. E.
Absolutely the best hamburgers ever! And their chips are amazing too. They don't have a huge menu, but that's what they do - burgers and fries. Superbly. And if you get a soda, the refills are free. :)
R. M.
Good burgers, plenty of options to personalise. So many fries 🍟
L. W.
Absolutely love five guys burgers. Best fast food burgers in the business. The peanuts are awesome good selection of drinks as well. Clean and tidy but atmosphere little sterile. They are expensive burgers though!
A. C.
Best burgers ever. You pay quite a bit more than Macdonald's but this is actually a burger not the thing they sell in the competition. But please 5 guys do change the décor... Is cold and not inviting at all. Maybe in the USA looks nice for all for those with 50s nostalgia... But this is not very nice by European standards
D. H.
Another visit to Five Guys... It's difficult to resist. Burgers were excellent, as always. Hot, fresh and tasty! Sadly on this occasion no Cajun fries as they didn't have them, which was a bit of a disappointment. Place was quite quiet but a few messy tables. Hopefully next time they'll have Cajun fries but as always burger was excellent 🍔, although overpriced 💰💰💰
C. W.
Good quality meats, chips are very salty, free refill with drinks. Friendly staff.
My meal cost me about £12
Good music and upbeat environment.
Hell of a drive from where I live especially with the bad traffic in the area.
Good place to go for a catchup with the lads.
D. T.
Best fast food hamburgers, quality meat and delicious toppings made with care. The cajun fries are exceptional and you get loads. Great place for lunch and although expensive the quality makes it worth it.
J. D.
Great food and fast service. The fries are even Gluten Free. Best of all their milkshakes are amazing! They are on the expensive side but worth it as a treat.
J. R.
Excellent Milkshakes, very good burgers and good fries. Large fries are an enormous portion, enough for two or more! Far too saturated in peanut oil for my taste, but very tasty none the less.
S. R.
Great burgers but v expensive. Hot dogs & milkshakes are excellent too. You get big portions & free refills on the fizz, but considering this is a "fast food" restaurant without table service or plates/cutlery it's eye-wateringly expensive. We recently had 1 burger, 1 hotdog, 2 chips, soda, milkshake for £30+. Don't get me wrong, it was *delicious* but considering we could have got similar at McD for a fraction of the price kind of stuck in my craw. Damn, those burgers are good though! Also I love the option of lettuce wrap instead of a bun. Coeliac friendly!
h. m.
Just visited 5 guys in kinnaird park .and was served by a very charming
Young lady called Lukasz . Who was a credit to the shop excellent
Service with a happy go lucky attitude, who couldn't have been more helpful
With our order . Excellent food as normal, ps . I dont normally write review's
But i thought it was worth the time .. give that girl a wage rise . Ed
E. G.
Awesome burgers (they don’t charge per topping!) and chips (cooked in peanut oil), free monkey nuts. Fizzy/soft Drinks machine with loads of choices. Fast service. Loud rock music. Clean and friendly. Quite expensive but worth it in my opinion!
B. L.
Great burgers, hot dogs and fries. Though a tip only order one set of regular fries between 2 people as they are huge. The jalapenos of you opt for them as a free topping has a bit of a kick, have a soda to hand.
Z.
If you've been wondering what all the hypes about, you've not tried Five Guys yet. It has unquestionably the best burgers you will taste in Edinburgh - Scotland - The World!! They are amazing, the price is looks a little much at first, but, as soon as you open that foil wrap and bite in you'll know you've got what you paid for. I can't say much more, just go and try it - WOW!! The team are amazing and happy to help you choose, you can have every single topping if you want, but, honestly go with what will make the burger best for you. And the Ice Cream Shakes? Well, let's just say I go in a few times and don't even get a burger, the shakes are out of this world. Just try it, you'll live it, the whole Five Guys story is actually a really good story and these guys have worked and earned their reputation and its here to stay. Get on board.
J. P.
Burgers were delicious - highly rate them! Would think twice about having cajun spiced chips again though, they were a bit too hot for us.
M. F.
Five Guys is different from a lot of the gourmet burger restaurants that have appeared in the last ten years - the style is very much 'American burger joint' but done really well (with a premium price to match). I think it's the flavour of the American cheese that stands out the most.
Generous portions, and the standard burger contains two patties, but add a drink and a 'meal' here will cost around £15. I think the 'little' single patty burger is more than enough, especially if you add a lot of free toppings!
L. E.
Far too expensive for what you get. When you are spending in excess of £40 for a family of 2 adults 2 kids for 1 burger and drink each with a shared chips... no burger is good enough to warrant those prices. Note: burgers are very good though! Won't go back purely for value for money
C. “. T.
I am not that much of a burger fan however sit me in a Five Guys and I would eat like 5 burgers. They are literally the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life and you are able to customise them any way you like!
They also have a drinks machine with literally 100+ different combinations of drinks and syrup flavours! I recommend the raspberry coke! It’s the best!
Not to mention you get free peanuts that you can just help yourself to!
This establishment in specific is normally really great and quick service!
D. B.
Premium price for an average burger, the fries with Cajun spice were nice. £16.70 for a bacon and cheese burger with medium fries and refillable soft drink. Burger King burgers are much bigger and taste better.
M. W.
It's expensive but worth it. Chips are delicious, burgers are too. You can tell they are made from decent ingredients. The milkshakes are where it's at though. Best I've tasted.
B. Y.
Clean restaurant and quick service.
L. H.
Freezing cold. I had to eat quickly so too cold to linger.
W. B.
You get what you pay for in life, should you wish to eat a burger without breaking the bank I suggest you visit one of the common chains (you know who they are).
Excellent quality, the burgers are utterly mouth watering and you'll get a cup of chips with the remainder which were cooked being put into your bag - so if you finish your cup of chips you can have seconds out of the bag.
G. T.
Just the best burger, and a huge portion of perfectly crispy fries. Once you eat here you'll wonder how other fast food outlets (looking at you, McDonalds and Burger King) manage to stay busy when their burgers are utterly tasteless and limp fries are like cardboard. Peanut butter and salted caramel shake ftw, and bottomless soft drink. I just wish there was a store nearer me.
B. S.
As always the burger and fries were amazing. James provided a truly excellent customer service that you don't see every day. My gluten free request was also handled professionally! Thanks!
L. C.
I was there with my bf and a friend of us. The boys are into the sloppy big burger and fries thing. Not so much myself. Staff was fast and efficient, and we had a good chat and a laugh as the environment is relaxed and friendly. However, if you're not into greasy, huge portions of fries and burgers falling off your mouth perhaps that's not the place for you 😂🍔🍟
M. T.
I have mixed feelings about Five Guys in general. The amounts of extras you can get on your burger is astounding and free reills are pretty good too. Chips are a bit on a dry side but good enough, especially cajun ones. Burgers are decent, but closer to a fast food quality than to that of the burger restaurant which makes the place a touch overpriced. Still alright though.
G. S.
Great burgers, topped off with masses of fries (if you purchase them). Customisable drinks from their fountain. It ain't McDonald's, especially with the pricing, but the experience is polar opposite to any other burger chain.
K. B.
I couldn't recommend five guys higher, my and all my friends/family's first stop when it comes to "treat night"
If you love a good burger with real meat cooked to perfection look no further! Five guys serve a quality product that justifies its high restaurant level prices (you can feed two adults for 25-30 pounds including drinks) and you can guarantee your service will be with a smile and you can even watch your meal being prepared with the kitchen being right up front.
M. Z.
If heaven existed on earth, this place would be it! Really good burgers. Actually, they're so good that eating a burger from say McDonald's is now an unpleasant experience for my pallet. Yes the food is expensive but It's worth it. Also the milkshakes are the BOMB!
A. W.
I had really amazing experience at Five Guys in Fort Kinnaird. I was provided with excellent and unexpected customer service. It was my first time trying FG, the food did overwhelmed my expectations. I was served by a manager named Lucas who introduced himself and explained how to build my own burger. I will definitely visit FG again soon, thank you very much Five Guys ❤️ love you guys!👍
P. B.
Never disappoints. The burgers from Five Guys are nothing short of incredible and you always get plenty of fries and free nuts! If you want a no frills proper burger, forget the fancy gourmet burger places in town. This is the real deal.
J. B.
Some people say "it's over priced, for fast food!" I agree it is expensive but you'd pay the same for a burger in a restaurant, it's just happens to come fast at five guys but imo you cannot class this place in the same league as macds and BK.
First thing is the chips, they are amazing. You order a regular and while this is expensive you get a cup filled with fries tipped into the bag, then the same cup filled with fries and put in the bag. You are basically getting 2 portions of chips so bear thus in mind when ordering.
Next comes the burger, I get a bacon double cheese burger. This is 2 meat patties, the crispiest bacon ever and cheese. You can add as many toppings as you want from their 15 toppings. I go for extra cheese, extra bacon, lettuce, grilled onions, tomatoes, light mustard and regular ketchup. All free so the burger is £9 I think which is fantastic and cheaper than TGI or Frankie and Bennys.
The meat patties are made daily and taste amazing, if you love a burger and want it fast this is the place for you!
Milkshake is also fantastic, its a bit pricy at £5 but honestly this is also amazing, you can pick from any flavours they have and make your own flavour. I go for peanutt butter and chocolate. 👌🏻
N. P.
Best hamburger I have had in a long time. All the way is the way to go. Fries are huge so easy to share.
A. J.
Delicious burgers. Not fast, not cheap, but well worth it.
J. W.
Place is far too cold. They really need to sort out the door, because you can't have it open at this time of year. Otherwise the food and service are excellent, so it's a pity that I can only give it a three because of its like eating in a freezer.
M. M.
I've been here few weeks ago, the place is really clean and the food amazing. Also the team is great. I've been served by an italian guy, I believe he is a manager by the colour of his shirt. He was really friendly and helpful. I'll definitely come back soon! Thanks italian pal!
R. P.
Milkshakes are good. Fries are great. Burgers are good for a fast food place. You can order online and collect which is really handy. Music is always too loud.
K. H.
Can't fault the burgers, tasty and juicy. However, if you compare the price of Five Guys with places like Burger or Wannaburger it comes up slightly short. In saying that, free refills and masses of fries goes somewhat towards ensuring you get value for money. I'd have liked to see more options for toppings but given that they're all free I would be quibbling too much.
R. H.
Had a burger here for the first time at the weekend, wow my goodness just like home made!
N. M.
Favourite burger in town for me. Juicy patties and crispy, delicious fries. The hot dog is a must as well. Don't forget to try the milkshakes!
M. R.
Despite the super busy lines due to the government eat in scheme it was surprisingly quick and handles very well. People where cleaning the tables very often and overall the food was hot and pretty good. Without the 50% off five guys is still expensive though.
E. M.
Very friendly people and they have been so generous with their awesome fries that we were very happy of our dinner out 😍
R. Y.
Brilliant service! First time visited and all the staff were exceptionally helpful. I was not aware of all the choices and the gentlemen behind the counter suggested few ideas to cover different meal options. Thank you so much. The food was fresh and very tasty. :)
J. P.
This was my first time here so I didn't really know what to expect. We ordered 2 hotdogs, regular fries and 2 milkshakes and it came to £24 so thought is was a bit on the pricy side however when we got stuck into our meals I have to say it was well worth the money. Spot on Five Guys. 👍🏻
H. A.
If it's your first time here, take your time to read the menu. You may want to try a bunless burger with lettuce instead of bread bun, a wonderful idea for those on Keto diets and those trying to avoid carbs. The free peanut is an excellent idea as well. Limitless cold drinks and the excellent shakes are the available drinks.
P. F.
Burger was as good as every other Five Guys, exactly what I'd expect, must say though, the Fries could have been crispier, they're meant to bite back....
S. D.
Basically an upmarket Mcdonalds. Burgers & chips are amazing and you choose exactly what you want in them. Also a juice machine with approx 50 different flavours that you can keep coming back to for refills. While you're waiting there's also free monkey nuts.
A. C.
Pricey establishment but you do get what you pay for. Excellent service and friendly staff.
Portions are good and selection process is simple.
For me would be great to have an ice cream sort of option. Parking is easily available just outside.
N. T.
It's a chain and consistent with any other Five Guys. The fries are some of the best. The burgers are great. If only they offered mayonnaise instead of just ketchup be great.
K. K.
Pretty expensive but absolutely flipping delicious! A favourite of ours without a doubt. All you can drink is great and you can take your drink in to the cinema next door which is a double win!
M.
Nice guys (m/f), great tasting meat, great chips, in fact it was all great EXCEPT the jalapeños had no heat to them whatsoever. Please sort that out, what's the point of a 'hot' topping which adds no heat, or at least add hot sauce as an option at the ketchup station. In fact you should do that anyway. Oh, and bizarrely there is no chilli dog option. Down to three stars.
B. D.
American style, delicious burgers, infinite toppings, bottomless drinks. It's expensive for a reason: perfect blend of American diner and fast food joint. Just avoid the alcohol or they'll literally chop your arm off as payment.
k. t.
Always a great meal at this place always clean and staff are very friendly by far the best burgers and hotdogs in edinburgh bit pricey but defo worth it the fact you can have as many toppings as you like. Plus the cajun fries are a defo must, best hang over cure lol
S. (. P.
Another great meal at 5 guys. There grilled sandwich was amazing. We come for the milkshakes but always are pleased by not only then but the food we order too
N.
Good burgers and the Cajun fries are greatz however it is pricey for a burger, so it's not a regular thing for sure.
E. G.
The fries and milkshakes are out of this world but very expensive. Not tried the hot dogs or burgers as I don't eat meat. They don't do kids meals either which I find rather strange?
R.
Always a quick service and very tasty burgers, best fries from any takeaway food outlets I've been to.
L. C.
Absolutely love this place, still the best burger I have ever had even after years since I have first tried one. Live a little bit away from one now but always try to have one when I'm shopping at fort kinnaird.
L.
I considered myself a cheeseburger expert but soon realised I hadn't even tasted a real burger until I went to five guys ! OMG ! I cannot live without you guys now. No1 choice for food any d customer service second to none I will return many times for the staff, hats of to you all ! Keep smiling and serving :)
M. W.
Great tasting food with a great service - it's just expensive!
P. O.
Fantastic burgers and milkshakes. Chips are a tad over salted.
A. B. P. C.
Cracking burgers and chips. They are a little expensive but you'll see why with the first bite! So much better than the other fast food options. Well worth the extra few pounds.
i. r.
Absolutely amazing burgers - and I really mean amazing!!!! BUT, far too pricey! Cost around £30 to feed 2 people, and it's meant to be a fast food joint.
Great food, but too expensive.
A. G.
Probably the best burger and chips in the UK always reliable
M. B.
Very good quality, chips are fantastic and burghers are very tasty. One star less because of the price which is definitely too high.
J. G.
One to avoid if you have a nut allergy as they cook in peanut oil and the place is full of free peanuts, but so long as you don't suffer that and do enjoy burgers, these guys cook it to spec and it's seriously good.

Good food, good price.
S. J.
Looking for a gleaming, photogenic burger and some nice, uniformly cut French fries? Well then, you're in the wrong place, compadre! The burgers here are ugly as sin and the fries look like they were carefully crafted in a wood chipper. First time visitors could be left thinking, "what am I paying for here?"
All of your fears will be assuaged after that first bite: This isn't food that's been streamlined and uniformly created in a sterile environment, no no. Each burger is a tasty, meaty snowflake and all the better for it. Very quickly it'll dawn upon you why this place is a little pricier than your average McKing venue. McKing burgers don't move grown men to tears.
The fries are done in peanut oil, giving them a unique taste that, while I personally enjoy it, I could understand that others might not (particularly if peanuts cause you to, y'know, die). Also there's the all-singing, all-dancing Coca-Cola vending machine, with a selection of over 17 trillion types of soft drink. If you can't find a beverage you'll enjoy in this place? Well then, there's just no pleasing you and I don't know that we can be friends anymore.
If anyone from Five Guys is reading this, I'd like you to know two things, I have a fairly substantial online following, and I'm a filthy, filthy sellout. Your move...
H. B.
Really good burgers, but on the expensive side. The drinks options are exciting too - you choose a base drink then add your choice of flavouring for many different options.
S. M.
Really excellent tasty burgers, a little bit more expensive than some places but well worth it. Visited several times and never been disappointed yet.
C.
Food is good and venue is well laid out. However the menu is a little expensive for my liking and table seats seemed rare and only the bar stools in the window were available.
J. A.
Great food, yes. But SO EXPENSIVE. Bread Meats Bread is better value, and is right next door.
K. S.
Love the food here and the options for toppings is great. They're doing a great job keeping the place cleaned after every customer.
T. P.
Efficiënt staff, tasty burgers and fries with skin, good variety of music, great experience!
P. B.
Slightly better burgers than McDonald's with hugely inflated prices. All because you have the choice of about twenty toppings. Soft drinks really expensive too.
D. H.
Good burgers and salted caramel milkshake is brilliant, just a bit pricey
A. C.
Delighted to get back in again.
Staff welcoming and food as great as ever.
Total burger treat.
t. m.
great burgers. touch expensive and they 4got to put cheese on my latest visit. only reason I scored 4 stars. will still be back tho😁
A. B.
Love their fries both Cajun and the salted ones although the salted ones are my favourite...burgers are nice too....just feel prices are a bit steep
S. V.
Top place i really liked the burger and loved the cajun 🍟 🍔 my daughters loved too is a place for return
R. T.
Never been disappointed with the burgers, juice or fries, they are all amazing and the place is very clean which makes a huge difference to eating out plus the staff are nice 2, great eating experience.
R.
Perfectly cooked burger and chips were great! The biscoff milkshake was absolutely magnificent 👌
B. (.
Love 5 guys. Best burger I have ever had. Their chips are also amazing! Try the cajun fries! They are amazing
M. M.
Their frys and burgers are amazing, well worth the 5 stars
G. P.
Not as cheap as Mc (you know who), but the Pattie is much better quality. Very tasty.
Decor is a bit Spartan as well.
C. R.
Loved this place first time there, best burger I have ever had.
n. m.
The best for burgers and fries. Staff are brilliant. Clean and fast. I just wish I could afford to come here more often.
A. O.
Amazingly tasty burgers, quality definitely outweighs most other fast food. Location is a bit meh but hopefully that will change soon
M. H.
Great food. Much better than other UK budget chains
J. G.
Excellent fresh made burgers and home made chips. Efficient service.
j. p.
You know it's pretty expensive for the experience of a fast food environment. But it tastes great! Bacon very crispy :)
P. T.
Really nice burger. Chips are nice but would prefer to salt them my self
H. B.
Get a large fries to share between 2, with your own burger and drink. Saves cash, and is enough as a meal for 1 at the same time
J. D.
Pros: Satisfying burgers, customisable toppings, free peanuts, coke freestyle machines.
Cons: Expensive, chips a bit too salty, or far too much cajun if you go for that option
R. C.
Amazing, best burger I've had in a long time. Chips are different, but taste amazing too.
J. C.
Food is always beyond expectation, kindly informed the lovely waitress my milkshake was not correct and she quickly rectified the issue. I was very pleased indeed..
M. A.
It's expensive for a burger but it's one of the best burgers ever! And the staff in this one are brilliant and helpful. If you like burgers this is the place for you!
L. J.
Was not that great the price was £26 5pm for tow rolls and one milkshake think thay need to think about how much as you alone get wee drip chips McDonald's is much better as you get more and it not that high in price
R. B.
Good quality burgers in a fast food setting. Here you an essentially build your own burger which is great if you are like me and fussy about when you put on it.
T. B.
Burgers amazing also the strawberry cheesecake milkshake was soooo good
D. M.
Yeah ok it's twice as expensive as McDonalds, but this is a REAL burger with more optional toppings than you could shake a stick at. Not to mention the masses of fries you get and bottomless drinks...
K. T.
Overpriced burger for student. Burger is fine. Like the fries and tried the interesting drink combination machine, it's free flow.
K. L.
Best meal I've had so far this year! And as for the milkshakes, let them speak for themselves👌🏼🙈
T. S.
Always beautifully cooked, succulent burgers and hotdogs, just what you need to quench your cravings. Served by happy staff with a smile.
S. K.
Expensive but decent for a good scran, can't fault their food at all!
r. f.
Customer service was real good frim information on menu to placing order, and cooked on table within 5 mins. Good portions, very busy place .
D. M.
Good food but a bit pricey for a glorified fast food joint.
S. S.
Five guys was not busy, we didn't wait long to be served. Food was all of good quality and fresh. Enjoyed our visit.
E. M.
Love a 5 guys bacon and cheese burger ,chips and a chocolate shake. Well worth a visit every time!
Z. Y.
the burger is certainly better than main stream fast food, juicy and fresh. however it is over priced, especially the drinks.
J. L.
Pretty average burger - about half way between McD and GBK. OK fries. Great milkshake. Pricey.
M. P.
Click and collect worked well. Chips delicious. Much tastier than other slightly cheaper nearby burger vendors.
s. k.
Burger rolls are huge and amazing, real beef not cardboard thin like some places, and the fries are like real old fashioned chips 👍
S. y. M.
Superb, as always! Responsible attitudes to keeping customers safe, too. Fit to burst!
For those with a sweet tooth, try the millionaire shake!
V. T.
Nice burger and milkshake!
S. W.
Burger and chips were lovely, but prices a bit steep
K. L.
Expensive place. Huge portion of fries! Ask for the spice on the side if you're not 100% sure about it. I always go all the way. Saves any decisions being necessary :)
E. S.
Very nice burgers and fries. It's expensive though would visit occasionally.
M. 1.
I love this shop and i love the burgers and fries, the rest rooms are always clean and tidy and the staff always make you feel like you shopped in the right place
M. S.
Good burgers, standard double patties, lots of choice with regards toppings. Highly recommended if Abit pricey
M. T.
The best burgers by far. Friendly efficient service. A real family favourite
T.
First experience of five guys. It was ok but don't understand the hype. Milkshake tbf was very good, otherwise save yourself 75% and go to mcds
D. R.

S. N.
food great, hot and tasty. Friendly staff and my order was correct.
L. L.
Great burgers & fries, shame the music is always so loud and the door wide open.
Soulless place
H. M.
Quite good but pricey, fries were the best part of the meal, not much of a drinks menu.
G.
Excellent food! What a taste! Mega friendly staff as well. Only downside is how expensive it is for what you get!!
G. C.
Good for an occasional treat but 2 burgers, 1 regular fries and 2 drinks will set you back about £25.
E. F. C.
Excellent burgers with a great selection of toppings etc. Bit pricey compared to mcds/burger king etc though.
A. H.
Its a chain but hands down one of the best burgers in Edinburgh
j.
Not excatly value for money Burgers cost £8 but were tasty so was the milk shake fries well ok i suppose my girlfriend said its overpriced .Never argue with the Ladies fella,s
R. D.
Excellent food. It's a bit pricey if you think it's like McDonald's but it's so much better and so worth it
V. A.
Heard a lot about this place and rumours are true. Big portions, tasty and worth it.
D.
Slightly slower than normal as busy period but really good food.
l. M.
Amazing burgers and fries
A bit more expensive but worth the price
M. C.

E. W.
Pricey but well worth it. Great burgers and fries! Milkshakes are the bomb!
C. B.

S. B.

J. L.

It's a great place to eat. Food is sooo good. Only thing keeping it from a 5 star is the high prices.
