Love this KFC. Reliable and always good food. I normally opt for the boneless banquet, but treated myself to something different this time, and was not disappointed. The chicken was crisp, tender and flavourful, the fries were a knockout- and that gravy, SHEEESH! Undefeated.

I don't think this KFC is as clean and efficient as it could be. My food looked like it had been fried twice I mean left to cool and not being sold on time they heated it up again. Fried food is greasy but my food was drowning in fat or oil. I'm always honest and sincere with my reviews. There juice isn't done very well either I watched as on girl struggled with the plastic lid that wasn't fitting on the paper cup . So yeah not clean enough inefficient. Poorly English spoken girls on the tills which makes it very difficult to get exactly what you want. I saw a lot of fed up people who were moaning but they didn't understand why.

Food is "cooked" not always well. Staff always act funny and don't understand what Hospitality is. Dustbin is always overflowing also. It's always crowded unless you go between 12:45pm and 1:30pm you're probably better off ordering through Deliveroo 🤣🤣

Fast, tasty. Although today the paper wrap for my twister stuck to the dough wrap. Messy to peel it off carefully, not easy when eating outside. Never happened before. Has KFC changed its wrap paper supplier?

We ordered 3 meals to go, missing a portion of gravy from one meal. All of fries was horribly burnt with literally about 10 fries per portions for large meals. Chicken was really tasty though.

Like all fast-food, it's very standardised. The flavour is how is supposed to be and the service is quick. However the KFC at Nicolson Street Edinburgh is somehow prone to trouble, lots of fighting ensues outside and security needs to be called. But that's just an external problem, there KFC itself is good to go to.

There are way better places within 30 metres, but sometimes you just need a fried chicken fix. I like it even though it's objectively terrible. There's nearly always some sort of scuffle in there or some drunks fighting outside which adds to the ambience and part of the reason I go back.

Nikce staff, food was preppared quickly and efficently, however the toilet is protected by by a pin code, which itself isn;t an issue as it stopped non-customers from using the facility. But for somethinfg that the managment have decided to protect, it's a bit of a dive!

The best KFC in Edinburgh. Is it a 5 star restaurant, no! The five stars review will be helpful to people who know all about KFC and are looking for the one with the nicest food and friendliest staff. For people who don't know KFC then this is a fried chicken place, get your fill of chicken pieces like legs, breast, wings and sides like chips, beans, gravy or corn on the cob. It's not fine dining by any means. Why I think it is the best KFC is largely due to the fact they food is usually hot (meadowbank sometimes gives you a cold burger), the chips are usually crisp, the gravy is the nice tasting one (meadowbank's is thin and not nice), the chicken is cooked in the correct manner (Prince's mall seem to rush it) the staff are friendly and it's the classic KFC ordering process (the KFC on Jeffery St is a funny Argos style "order number to collection point b").

At peak times they may be a bit understaffed but they still try their best! Can't fault them!

With fast food restaurant it is well indicated. The staff moves fast and I feel satisfied
