Lovely vibe here at Alessio's. We enjoyed two breakfasts here whilst holidaying nearby. The staff are very friendly, the food is as beautiful as it is delicious and the decor is really chic too. We enjoyed sampling a few of their pastries to go too!

Delicious food and brilliant staff. We had a bit of a wait to get seated, but not surprising when the place is so good. Eggs benedict and stornoway black pudding will sort out your sunday morning restorations, had xmas hot chocolate too, loved it. Absolutely recommend this place. Be keen to go back later in the day, as we were leaving lunches were coming out and they looked awesome.

Went to Alessios for some fresh scones and coffee for the 1st time and it certainly didnt disappoint. Scone was served heated and with fresh cream and jam. We actually ran out of jam and the staff were more than happy to provide more. Alessios had a lovely buzz about it and the staff were very friendly.

Lunch in the sun. Great service and a lovely menu, lots to chose from. Can never decide what to have had the salad for a change as it was a nice day and would definately recommend. Great healthy options for kids aswell, plates were emptied. Out for a spot of lunch in kirky its a must try.

Had lunch there with my sister, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was lovely. I had a ciabatta with pesto chicken, it was huge but I ate the lot because it was so tasty. Sis had a breakfast roll with scrambled egg and tattie scone, she said it was delicious too. There are plenty of veggie options on the menu too, I will definitely be back 😋

Epic coffee! Having frequented other coffee houses in the area before Alessios came to be, it took some friendly nudging from family and friends to check this out, and the coffee really is terrific. The sit down bistro is also excellent and the service friendly and attentive. Very very busy more often than not but surely a sign of the quality on offer. Check it out!

We visited for Sunday brunch. Cannot book ahead, so expect to wait a short while if busy. Less so for tables of 2, we were a 3 so took longer. Food was very nice and service was very good too so worth the circa 10min wait. Would go back without hesitation when in the area.

Unsure why queues to eat here the breakfast was awful, french toast raw egg and soggy. Work in hospitality and I always do check backs or ask customers if any problems when food returned but not at Alessio's. Chose not to complain as with friends but won't return.

If you are looking for a perfect place for breakfast or brunch do not look any further. It's a busy place so you might need to wait for a table at times, but the wait will be worth it. Great food, well cooked and served by friendly staff.

The "Big Breakfast" on the Menu, isnt that big at all. Rather stingy in fact. I consumed it in minutes. I compare to Coias cafe, Duke Street, or Tibos, Euro Trans Cafe in TronGate Glasgow. All of them gave a real "Big breakfast". Everything else was great, the venue was bright and spaceous, the friendly service, how the food was cooked and even the plates were quality. Bigger helpings please. NOTE: French bread was approx £6.99 for 5 half slices of thick bread. Extremely Poor Value

Great deli in Kirkintilloch for a coffee or a lunch- my wife and I had lunch with a beer & wine - great selection on menu and always cooked and presented to a high standard- usually have to wait for a table at lunchtime which is a good sign - well worth a visit

A lovely café with a great menu-i struggled to choose one thing! I went for the veggie breakfast-it was the best I'd had in a long time and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Including halloumi and avocado didn't make me feel like I was missing out on meat at all. The cake counter looked great-we tried the cannolis and they were fresh and tasty. Was pleased to get a seat outside as well. If I'm in the area I'll gladly return!

Good food, friendly staff. I ordered scrambled eggs on sour dough which was delicious, however it could have done with 2 slices of bread instead of the 1 as the there was a lot of scrambled eggs. Hubby had their macaroni and again only 1 slice of garlic bread. Was buzzing with customers which is always a good sign

A fantastic place to eat in Kirkintilloch offering traditional Scottish mixed with continental quisine. My wife had a roll 'n' sausage & potato scone from the breakfast menu which is served until 3pm (they must know what time she gets up at😁) while I went for the Crayfish and avocado in lemon and chive mayonnaise on brown bloomer sandwich with sides of delicious cabbage coleslaw, tortilla chips and lamb's leaf, cucumber and tomato salad. I've had a similar meal in a very nice Parisian bistro but it couldn't hold a candle to the meal I had in Alessio's. The service from the very attentive and friendly staff made it a pleasure to eat here. We will definitely be back and can't recommend it enough.

If you're looking for breakfast or lunch, you could do a lot worse than here. The food is nice, the cafe cosy and the staff friendly. This is no Gregg's, so don't go in expecting a cheap bacon roll, the place aims for a higher quality service for the clientele. But don't let that put you off, lunch for 2 with cake and coffee probably won't top £20 by much if at all.

This is a good cafe. There was a steady stream of local customers who were clearly regular customers enjoying their visit. The menu is good and my bagel with scrambled egg and bacon was very nice- generously filled and accompanied by a salad with a good dressing. Definitely the sort of place that is bringing life back to Kirkintilloch.

Been to Alessio's a few times now since moving to the area; food is always tasty and coffee is nice and strong. Gluten free options available. Staff are always helpful in finding a table for us even when the place is busy

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Made sure we were seated quickly and advised us to come to the counter when ready to order. Food was very prompt in arriving and they were happy to modify some of their dishes to suit our tastes. Overall a good experience and will definitely be returning.
