We had the cured beef, olives and sourdough with the beef butter! Cured beef was really really packed with flavour and went nicely with the buttered sourdough! Great starter! 👌🏻
For mains I had the Gost burger that blows any burger I’ve had in Glasgow out the water! 🍔 the beef patty’s were succulent and full of flavour, as was the bacon mayo, and the cheese sauce was a real treat 👍🏻
My wife had the rump, it was full of flavour as you would expect from a quality rump steak, and it was cooked perfectly. 🥩 the bottle of Cotes du Rhône complimented the food lovely.
Desert I couldn’t quite squeeze in after overdoing it with the food and anything my wife didn’t eat, but I did have the salted caramel espresso martini that is a nice twist on the classic cocktail 🍸
Definitely will be returning to this place whether it’s for a sit down meal or to sit at the bar to enjoy some top cocktails! 👍🏻
R. M.Brilliant ambience and decor, and most importantly, amazing food! Perfect for a group of friends / family, or a date night. The steak, the spinach, the mushrooms, ALL of the starters... basically, everything I had tasted amazing. Also, the cocktails were elite - Ewan the bartender told us about the inspiration behind each drink and was very generous with his time and recommendations. In fact, all of the staff were brilliant and knowledgeable about the menus. Can't wait to go back!

J.Had a wonderful meal here…I got the fish and chips which was delicious and my wife got the sea bass..was great. All made a lot better by our wonderful Canadian server who was tentative and funny. Would come again & make sure to have desert !

N. B.We had a great family meal here. The Tuna tartare was so tasty, we also had a Ribeye steak and the Tournedos Rossini which was the best I have ever had. The staff were super attentive which made it a great experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that enjoys a good steak, you won't find a better place in Glasgow!

J. M.Headed to Gost in Glasgow last night recently opened in Bothwell street, a fantastic restaurant and a wonderful experience.
We were met by Scott as we arrived, offered either to have a drink first or head straight to our table, we opted for a drink to start our evening my wife ha a salted caramel espresso martini from the very extensive and creative cocktail list, it certainly didn’t disappoint, it was excellent, I started with a draught pint of Heineken silver, which was very refreshing and enjoyable.
The ambiance of the place is brilliant, all the staff were very professional, polite and friendly . The menu was mainly seafood and steaks but there is something for everyone available.
I had Cumbrae oysters to start , while my wife opted for baked beetroot both were excellent and beautifully presented. Main course was a
Fillet steak for both of us, served with skinny fries. I chose the prawn steak topper and my wife had brandy and pepper corn sauce. The chef cooked them perfectly and exactly how we had asked them to be done. This was washed down with a reasonably priced bottle of Argentinian Malbec recommended by our waitress, it was a very nice wine for the price. Finished the meal off with a sweet and a couple of coffees.
I have been to dearer and cheaper restaurants but I think the owners of Gost have got it about right, nice surroundings, great staff, a lovely menu and fantastic food.
If you are in Glasgow it’s definitely worth a visit.
We would certainly go back again, thanks for a lovely evening.
