Reviews of Hard Rock Cafe
D. S.
Visited the Hard Rock Cafe with 3 work colleagues. The place was pretty busy when we visited, the atmosphere was pretty good. Our waitress was very polite and professional, although it did feel like she was very busy and had to wait a fairly long time to get our first drinks and order our food. Drinks came and turned out it was happy hour all day, £2.50 for a pint of Stella, £4 for a pint of corona, not bad.
Food was very good but my burger was pretty small for almost £15 could have at-least done with a few more fries. Overall experience was good but you might be best to visit when the place is not as busy to get better service.

As a fan of Rock music, I have to say people like me would love this place. I don't why I got excited seeing signed copies of Pink Floyd records, but I did. The whole ambience of the pub is sublime. The food was also awesome. I had the Surf and Turf Burger and I loved it. The mix of prawns and beef in a burger really hits different. Would definitely go again!
T. v.
The staff was incredible and lively which added to the atmosphere. Food was a lot d completely worth it! There was live music which made everything pull together perfectly.
A. D.
Brilliant experience, food is pricey but absolutely amazing. Quick food preparation and the staff are all really brilliant and actually happy to be there. Atmosphere is amazing as well.

Very lively as always, l have been going to the Hard Rock Cafe since the beginning in the 70's in London so it was nice to see the Glasgow branch, l was sat at the bar as Billy No Mate's! So l was entertained by the friendly bar staff, the Legendary Burger was perfect as always, l do miss the relish that used to accompany the burger in the good old days of the Hard Rock Cafe, l had a Chocolate Fudge Sundae, l remember hot Fudge being in the bottom not this time . Can't wait to return very soon.

Directed upstairs initially and had one drink in a cold and no atmosphere room. Went downstairs and into a totally different room with great staff and vibe and spent a fortune. Loved it!
P. V.
Great experience at Hard Rock in Glasgow - exactly what you you would expect from this brand.
Food was good, service was okay and music was great. Although they were very busy, the food arrived quickly
N. S.
We passed this shop on our day visit in Glasgow. Awesome vibe and look! Has a big variety of magnets if that's what you collect on your travels. Also great selection t-shirts and caps 🏴🤙🏼

Had An amazing meal here. I tried the local "Glasgow burger" which was delicious and the extra sauce was to die for ! Great memorabilia around. Go check it out.

Staff are outstanding, they greet you on arrival, explain the lay out of the venue (multiple floors) and hand you a menu if you are dining. From the entrance you pass through a small retail area with hard rock café merchandise then down the stairs to the bar/ restaurant area. Quite expensive but the look of the place is classy with lots of rock memorabilia on the walls. Music videos play on screens around the dining area but not too loud so conversation is possible.
L. L.
I had the salmon, which was very tasty. Followed by a giant desert to share. Hope to go back for the Messe Burger on my next trip.
The Staff were very attentive and could not be faulted.
One disappointment was that the exhibits on display did not celebrate Scotland's rich rock & pop history.
k. p.
I loved it, I ordered a cocktail and they gave me the glass ❤️ the food was delicious as well. And the staff despite was crowded they were so attentive.
J. W.
Great place for music and food. We arrived half an hour earlie for our reservation but was seated straight away. The staff are very friendly and polite. The food was serviced quickly and tasted amazing. We also got to keep our big glasses from our cocktails.

Firstly the employees need one of two things, either an Oscar or a raise, I suspect the later because it’s not possible to be that good of an actor. If it were possible to bottle the enthusiasm, customer service and general atmosphere your staff bring to the experience of dining at the hard rock. Not let’s move into Bryce himself. This man is an absolute legend. His levels of engagement with his guests is impeccable, even with the level of “alternate entertainment” from the table behind us was impeccable. It is clear that he enjoys his job here but where possible I would recommend if there was a position available as experience manager I would put him in position immediately. If there isn’t an experience manager position then it needs created and he offered the VP position.
We are only in Glasgow for one night and decided to choose a visit to tha hard rock as it was the first place we visited on out honeymoon 10 years ago. While I mentioned this on our reservation all members of staff we interacted with congratulated us and mentioned our visit to the Barcelona chain.
In summary, from the bottom of both Alison’s and my hearts, the Glasgow branch is over and above our possible expectations. (And much better than Edinburgh)
T. M.
Great venue and staff will do anything possible to make your time with them the best. Claudia even turned up with a birthday treat for our granddaughter, Sadly they do not have a tipping system so could not leave a tip as no cash
s. f.
Had chicken fajhitas...they didnt sizzle for long nd were luke warm...edible but just..tables are small spesh if 2 of you are having fajhitas...sorry if spelling is wrong.
G. M.
Very attentive to the allergy needs of the diners(Gluten Free, Egg free) 10/10 customer service.
R. W.
Hard Rock Glasgow... A typical great Hard Rock visit. We usually sit at the bar for additional conversation, but took a table.
Our server was Luke. He was one of the best servers ever. A pleasant conversationalist with some interesting stories to share. The Wednesday noon option was not too busy and not too crowded... so our server took an appropriate amount of time with us.
There was definitely a Glasgow flair to a few of the offerings (sauce for example).
The burgers are going to be cooked well...even if you ask for medium. Seemed to be a safety concerned. Was not over cooked but was well done.
And, the Apple Cobbler was amazing.
J.
Been to Hard Rock Cafe laods of times but this wasn't the best food wise. The staff were great and gave us a mini intro to the restaurant. The reason for a 4 star is due to my macaroni and cheese hardly had any sauce and was very dry, needed several tap waters to swallow my food.
L. C.
I had been looking forward to my visit here as soon as I booked my trip to Glasgow, but I was very let down and disappointed. It started off great with amazing customer service from the hosts, and my server was nice, however I felt as if I was being rushed through my meal. When I was ordering my drink I was about to ask for my drink with the hurricane glass as I like to collect them and my server went to taking my food order (I hadn’t been sat down long) so I didn’t get the chance to ask for the glass until he brought my drink over in the smaller glass. My server brought my main to my table when I was still eating my starter (which was absolutely amazing, I had the Bangkok shrimp) so by the time I had finished my starter, my main (ribs) was barely warm. And my starter plate wasn’t taken until I had almost finished my main. I left feeling as if I wish I had never gone and I usually love my hard rock visits.
J. T.
The staff here are having fun at work and I seriously dig it. Also, £3.50 pints in a city centre, great music and food. What more could a loner want!!!

I always try and visit a Hard Rock Cafe if I’m on holiday somewhere, and spending a week in Scotland for work - I made it my mission to visit Glasgow Hard Rock whilst I was there. It’s small but super cosy and quirky. It felt like a wicked underground bar. Food was incredible as always along with the cocktails - collected my souvenir glass as well. Our waitress was great and when we ordered a round of tequila, she went the extra mile by giving us some salt and lemon - as well as playing ‘Tequila’ on the music system!!!!
A trip to HRC wouldn’t be right without a trip to the shop for merch - we were kept very entertained by a lovely looking young man by the name of Wredd, he was full of cheesy but cracking jokes. I spent my birthday money with a new charm for my bracelet, pins galore as well as some Christmas presents for the fam. Extremely happy. This Hard Rock did not disappoint and I’m tempted to return before I head home at the end of the week! Thanks for a smashing evening!
D.
First time ever going, the food was amazing
E. H.
Food was delicious, can't fault it. All but one server were great. Very attentive to my daughters food allergy.. Live music was far too loud and made it impossible to hear conversation at our table during our meal.
G. C.
This place was great, me and my partner visited the Hard Rock Cafe during a trip away, she loves the place as she’s been to other ones before. When we went we were on a bit of a time push but our server was very attentive and fast at getting our drinks and order in. We only had burgers but they tasted great!
Would definitely recommend and I will be going again to have a longer sit down and try there menu.
G. M.
Loved this place, food was great and nice size portions. Staff were friendly and loved the memorabilia on the walls.
r. f.
The service and food was excellent, the staff simplyt can't do enough for you.
The memorabilia is great and the restaurant is really beautiful inside.
They only thing I'd like to see improves would be a larger selection in the menu as I felt it was a little limited in the selection.
D. E.
brilliant food and service staff were really helpful as I'm a coeliac
C. N.
Well worth a trip, staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was tasty and cooked well. I had a steak salad and the steak was great quality and cooked as asked. Great choice of drinks and nice to look around the collection in Glasgow 🙂
K. C.
Always busy but always a great meal and even better staff. We go every year we go to Glasgow and hae not been disappointed yet. They are excellent with groups too, just be sure to make a reservation and be on time.
p. m.
Cracking food, backed up with great staff and cheaper than you'd think. Minor hold up with order, but to their credit they let you know of any problems rather than being invisible. Our server John was fantastic, good patter and brilliant service, absolute credit to the company.
J. C.
Visiting with a few friends. Staff were all so lovely and helpful. Couldn’t be anymore attentive. Drinks and food orders came out quickly and’s without any complaints. Could be a tad cheaper but it’s good value for money and a lovely experience.
S. F.
Had a wonderful time at the Hard Rock Cafe Glasgow for a friends 40th Birthday at the weekend.Staff are all lovely and friendly and very attentive.Food Amazing big portions. The cocktails were delicious and the staff are more than happy to offer cocktails you might not see on the menu so worth an ask. Whole restaurant sang "Happy Birthday " make the whole experience extra special. Definitely recommend this place if your looking for something a little special it's worth every penny.Cant wait to come back.
C.
Hard Rock Cafe is a great gimmick. Always a lot of fun seeing which Cafe has what. Having said that, the burgers have definitely been downsized. For £15, my burger was no bigger than a double cheeseburger from McDonald's. Also the cocktail just tasted of alcohol. The menu boasted many flavours but all I got was alcohol. Pretty annoying as it was almost £10
p. o.
Was there for my sons 15th birthday treat. Our waiter was lovely so helpful and brought over a free ice cream for my sons birthday getting everyone in the place to sing. This was fab, my son enjoyed the experience made a good finish to his special day
E. C.
Booked in advance for party of 8. On the day informed there would be a live bar in restaurant. Would be noisy or we could move upstairs. I am sure with a bigger group it would have been better but we were too few in a huge area. Food was average, salad mostly lettuce, shrimp (starter) needed veg and fries added (expensive), burgers nothing special. Did not tell us about free refills on cokes until bill came! Expensive on the whole, luckily we had birthday cake for dessert so only needed coffees.
L. J.
Very accommodating, good atmosphere. Great range of drinks, but as with all hard rock cafes, you pay for the privilege. We had an amazing bartender who was very attentive and great fun too.
D. R. M.
Average food and service. Great ambience. One of the large pubs. Managed to get a table without a reservation on a Thursday night. Had a solo musician playing the guitar, organ and singing, was pretty decent. Sound system was below par compared to the HRC I have been to in Bangalore. The bacon cheeseburger was great, as expected. The Fajita bowl was really bad choice, it had a measly piece of dry chicken breast with a tablespoon of beans and a load full of lettuce. Ordered with a side of caesar salad with no dressing. Overall an average experience for the price.
B. S.
Just had a gorgeous meal with the wife.
Service was excellent made even better by the brilliant John( Dad) who made us feel at ease and nothing was to much trouble.
Deaffo recommend it.
A. B.
Food wasn’t great but was ok. Service quite slow and looked at one point that server forgot about us. The most disappointing part of our experience was inadequate bathroom facilities. The bathrooms were freezing cold which I can understand as it is old building however location of baby change unit was absolutely inappropriate. It is facing entrance of bathroom and everyone walking in can see the child being changed. There’s no way to stand in front of child as it is located between cubicle’s doors. Absolute lack of privacy!
O. F.
Very nice building, food great as usual, staff are super nice. Concerning the shop, everything is very expensive, but everything (especially the t-shirts) are very good quality. Not your standard "merch store." Will 100% go again if visiting the city.
G. S.
It's OK not as much memrabelia as I thought there would be. Very expensive for the merchandise
C. B.
Friendly service, and nice venue (though not as impressive as HRC in other cities). The chips are crispy yummy and vegan burger with Moving Mountains patty is excellent, I would recommend it if you like innovative plant based products that simulate meat.
The steak salad is my favourite dish here though, comes with medium rare beef strips and blue cheese, so delicious! Massive portions, especially the dessert, best shared!
I. G.
We had great time. The food was looking great in the menu, and in reality it was even better. One of the greatest burgers I ever had was there, mac and cheese mmm delicious. The waiters were friendly, polite and smiling. If you go to Glasgow you have to go there for a meal! You will feel perfect after that!
s.
Had such a good time here last night, Great location and venue, the staff were excellent, friendly and informative. The food was great as was the cocktails, I'd highly recommend here and will be back
A. F. (.
Situated right next to subway station. I came for its merchandise outfit which is not many choices now
J. S.
Great place with good service. Both BBQ burger and NY strip steak were well prepared. Steak was very tender and juicy. I wish there was only better music selection which is the reason for 4*. Nevertheless I highly recommend it and would definitely come back.
S. K.
Excellent service. Manager came over to explain their gluten free process. Had to wait a bit longer than expected but was well worth the wait
E. C.
Absolutely fantastic place. Great Rock music in the background, and unlike other hard rock cafes I've been in other cities around the world, this Glasgow one actually features rock music, and not pop or commercial artists. Food was undoubtedly delicious, pretty good selection of dishes, all finger-licking. Staff was absolutely wonderful and had the chance to be looked after by the manager himself who was the kindest and coolest person ever. Offered to place a request for music songs that we wanted. Great experience, would definitely recommend, and be coming again. Be prepared for prices a bit high, it's hard Rock Cafe after all, their stuff won't be very cheap.
V. R.
Food was lovely, took a while to come out though. Service was first class. However, the music playing was very very loud. Kind of a shame really. Couldn't talk to anyone atthe table without shouting.
T. M.
Had a rocking great time for the Wrong Jovi gig last night.
c. g.
Picture of our half eaten starter (sorry I forgot)plus my main...the burger. Procedures upon arrival were great (book first!) greeted at the door, shown to our table, one way system explained then seated. Afterwards we told our server we'd like to visit the gift shop so we were given the place to ourselves to browse...couldn't help myself 😀
m. e.
Didn't have food on this occasion. Great cocktails, excellent service, fabulous music of course. Would recommend
C. S.
Great meal with quick friendly service at lunch time
R. H.
My mum took me out for a birthday treat and the food was great as always. Our server was Dad (John) and he was just great he had a good laugh and made sure that we had a good time whilst we were there 😀
E. C.
Definitely five star! Our server Jill (I hope I've spelled that correctly) made it a great experience with good chat and very attentive service.
A. E.
Nice venue. Food is average. Staff friendliness is average. Good easily improve. Great location
J. G.
Interior of the Hard Rock Cafe is very nice! They have a little dip where there are tables and a bar on the elevated part, almost looks like a band could play in the middle of the cafe! Nice music and I got the gold burger with the raspberry lemonade with basil, very refreshing!
P. C.
A good example of what a hard rock should be. Happy hour is a very good option. Only went in for drinks.
n. j.
This place is nice. Wel situated in City centre of Glasgow. Well the food is good as you get across all the Hard rock cafes.
V. L.
The Buffalo wings were just amazingly delicious, accompanied by a refreshing and well balanced Southern Rock. Amazing atmosphere, friendly stuff and irreproachable service.
C. M.
Pulled pork sandwich and burgers were very good. They normally serve seasoned fries. However, they made me some plain fries when I asked!
L. E.
Me and a couple of guys popped in over Christmas for some top up fuel to get through the last of the shopping for our other halves..
Can't fault it, table was decent, portion sizes are huge (man size) and the service was good also. No complaints here. 👌
J. F.
Great place, good ambience (especially music :P)
Only word of caution: the Fudge Brownie is a monstrosity - not for the faint hearted unless you're planning on sharing (see pic)
C. L.
First visit to the Hard Rock Cafe. Amazing server and food. Music possibly a little too loud for a conversation without raised voices, but otherwise can't fault it!
E. M.
A good hard rock, food was up to the usual level, cocktails were great. Service was amazing, only the bright lighting really felt over done. Not much atmosphere in such a lovely setting. Almost 5 stars but not quite.
I. A.
Been meaning to eat at the hard rock for years but it's always been fully booked and we have never got a table, thankfully we had better luck this time! Every member of staff was lovely and you could tell customer service was the first priority. We were seated and shortly after a drinks order was taken. Our server was Carly and she was lovely, Chatted away but wasn't overly familiar, she came back and checked on us a few times and just as are drinks were running low she took another order. I felt very well looked after. I would defiantly go back next time I'm in town. Hint hint open one in Aberdeen!
D. M.
Totally wicked! Great decoration based on legends of rock, but not overkill. The people were not only friendly and helpful, but really enthusiastic as well and obviously loving their job, which is completely understandable. The food was a bit expensive, but the high quality of the dishes and the badass background music made up for it. A must if you visit Glasgow. We'll definitely return if we visit Glasgow again. Wheelchair-friendly too!

The staff here are so friendly and funny, they really make you feel welcome right away.
The food is delicious and the portion sizes are very generous (if you're getting the fudge brownie, I highly recommend splitting it between two!) The drinks are also gorgeous and the mojito I had was probably the best I've ever had.
The atmosphere is great and the music is fun but not intrusive. I highly recommend for a nice outing.
J.
This place was pretty fun, the food was great, and the staff was friendly and hospitable. Great experience being here and recommend it to anyone else who wants to go. They have classic rock rock music, records, and real history in this place. Come see it.
R. K.
Barbecue ribs and apple pie, lovely 🤤🤤 but advised to book ahead for seating.
D. H.
Cocktails for £5 ! Great atmosphere and fantastic staff.
K. M.
Half price cocktail's Monday to Thursday is why I like this place the banana berry colada is lovely (most of the time) 1st 1 was watery but other 2 where like smoothies. We tried the pineapple lemonade mocktail comes with a grilled pineapple slice (disgusting) leaves charcoal in your drink and tastes of food. The Bahama mama is OK but I didn't like the strawberry cheesecake cocktail.
Not tried the food yet but smells amazing.
Was back and my son had the kids menu he had the pasta with chips and a drink and the chocolate brownie sundae ( no brownie in it)
H. M.
Our waiter was John and he made us so welcome and was very funny and entertaining at same time.
A. G.
Love this place fantastic helpful staff ...food amazing and cocktails mmm
P. M.
Had a lovely night with decent food. My chicken was a little well done on the other side but cleverly hidden with the cheese sauce. The rest of the food we all had was lovely though. Stuffed on leaving! The only thing was the music was so loud we couldn't even hear each other talk or it would of been 5 stars.
I. S.
Standard Hard Rock Cafe experience, the food was good, quick service.
Very friendly and helpful waitress, always nearby to ask if everything was ok.
It gets busy, so it's better to make a reservation in advance.
D. P.
A nice venue with history of rock&roll music, with music playing in background. Great food with shop near the entrance.
l. f.
The building and decor were good. The staff were nice but the food was awful. The restaurant ran out of avocado at 6.30pm on a Monday so that cancelled out my choice of nachos with guacamole and the Cobb salad which I asked for. As a replacement I went for a medium steak, Got well done with raw broccoli (not al dente, raw) and an odd inedible dry potatoe mashed up with something through it. Couldn't eat a potato that set so left it. Crunched raw broccoli (Much to.the entertainment of other diners) even a steak knife could not cut through it. Then removed half the streak as it was just day and ate the well done dry part left. I let the waitress know and she took a discount off the cost of the streak (-4 of 21).
Wouldn't eat there again but maybe drinks.
T. O.
An impromptu trip in for a tshirt, ended up enjoying lovely cocktails, great food, plenty of pool and a brilliant server in Meg. She is a delight, couldn’t do enough for us and definitely an asset to Hard Rock Glasgow
A. H.
Food is over priced for what you get, however that can be forgiven as the service was impeccable. Sam our server was absolutely incredible!! That is why you have such a high rating
L. W.
Awesome place and awesome staff!! Had an issue with our reservations and Mary the manager fixed it quickly and treated us great! Definitely a must visit when you're in Glasgow!!!!
A. G.
Lively atmosphere, Hard Rock Cafe has its own climate inside, you will feel like time-traveled. We sat at the bar where we chatted to bartender and other people sitting at the bar
H. R.
Visited here after my graduation meal.
Happy hour so reasonably priced cocktails
Elevator if you find thr spiral stairs a challenge
Lovely ambience
Staff are lovely
A must- do if you visit Glasgow
G. B.
A fun and lively dining experience plus it's cool to see all the memorabilia on the walls! The food was delicious and I even got a souvenir cup with my drink!
K. G.
Myself and fiancé had dinner here lastnight 26/08/22 and were served by Jill or ‘refill Jill’ who made our experience even more enjoyable.
Such a friendly, funny person who was extremely helpful when processing our voucher.
I’d like to request that someone get this lady a pizza haha.
We will 100% be back soon.
I. H.
Can't really comment on the food as we just had a couple of cocktails ..Which were very nice ..staff very friendly ..Nice place will be back
M. S.
Had a fantastic meal with the girlfriend, was absolutely destroyed by the quantity and the overload of BBQ during this time. Price was a bit on the high end but for the amount we had it was worth it, fantastic place with some amazing and wonderful staff, definitely recommend to try this place out!
K. J.
Awesome place for us golden oldies its better than christmas! Definately going back in take my brothers from Hull as well. The staff are 1st class and if you havent tried the smoothies and the pig sandwich?? Mmmmm give it a try.
I. G.
Amazing as ever
T shirts are great value
Cocktails also.
Walls are always a good read
J. B.
My group came in right before closing but the cafe was still happy to stay open to accommodate for us. Staff was all pleasent and nice. Overall a good experience.
J. C.
Great starters of chicken wings and nachos...did four of us easy. Happy Hour ..£3.50 a pint and £4.50 a cocktail....Great staff and not a bad venue
C. R.
Loved the venue, would have been 5 star but I felt they did not have a lot of merchandise the day I was there
S. P.
Warm welcome when we arrived and took to our seat. Our server Esther was chatty and friendly and checked on us a few times, which was perfect so we could get nore drinks and more sauce etc. Ordered burgers and a side of onion rings. Onion rings were in breadcrumbs and crispy with a good chunk of onion in them. Burgers were tasty and juicy, the BBQ burger had crispy bacon on and the uograded guineas cheese fries were amazing. Would recommend this place to others, the staff all seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves and when we left everyone we passed said goodbye. Great service!
G. M.
Nice place, only in for drinks but food looked great. Maybe next visit we will try some.
P. D.
My friend and I visited here. We found the strawberry frozen margarita totally delightful. The staff were really really lovely. However, my friend did notify the staff of an onion allergy. After discussing this with the staff, and being assured no onion would be on her burger, she had to pull 2 large onion slices off of her burger. The staff were very apologetic but after discussing this with the staff you wouldn't expect to have an allergen present in your food. Would definitely go back.
E.
Could not fault the help and advice given in both the shop and the restaurant. The food is nice and the bar attendant made the best strawberry daiquiris I've ever tasted
K. D.
Went there on Friday evening. I was surprised that it wasn't busy and we got a table straight away. Our waitress, Laura May, was very friendly and helpful. I had Original Legendary Burger and my girlfriend had Java Lava Burger and we were very happy with our choice as both burgers were very delicious and tasty. The fries that came with the burgers were very delicious as well. I am very happy with our visit at Hard Rock Cafe, but not giving 5* as we had to wait quite long for our bill and for the scarce desert options available on the menu.
K. P.
Went for cocktails and they were amazing, great atmosphere 👌
S. A.
Well equipped and well-arranged HRC, the crew was very nice and friendly.
My only complaint is (as I was there), that they were only playing pop music and no rock music.
A. Q.
The food was superb ! Carl our server was genuinely attentive and was always there when we wanted something. Not particularly busy as we went on a Tuesday evening, but the atmosphere was great. Music was good as well. Definitely will return again.
J. M.
Absolutely love coming to this Hard Rock. All staff are very friendly and helpful! It is a fantastic atmosphere and experience. A live guitarist on most weeks when I have visited. Really highly recommend anyone to go 🙂
D. M.
Great Place, good atmosphere and service. Great food especially the ribs (expensive but worth it). Would recommend and will return.
c. b.
Our server Jill was a really kind and a really good laugh. Really made the atmosphere welcoming and made the meal that much better
A. M.
Excellent service and food. Tastey new moctails due to no alcohol being served right now.
K. L.
Fantastic service great meal and drinks brilliant atmosphere definitely worth a visit
C. W.
Always awesome to go to another hard Rock cafe
M. W.
Bit pricey... but what isn't these days? Was very disappointed in the food, burger was done to death and the bun was half cardboard half bread 🤷🏻♂️ bruschetta starter was also like mini frisbees. I'd only go back for the cocktails and desserts... The Tonic Boom cocktail was awesome
?.
Hard Rock has awesome food and a great atmosphere, this one is located perfectly in the city center of Glasgow so it's easy to get to.
The restaurant includes a merch store to buy hard rock t-shirts, glasses, hoodies and other similar things.
The cocktails are great, and collectible glasses are available when buying a cocktail.
Unlike other hard rock cafes it does not have the giant guitar outside or on the roof, but it does have guitars hanging down the stairwell on entry.
Unfortunately it can be very very busy. It loses a star because even for 2 people you could be waiting an hour to get seated.
C. J.
Amazing food, atmosphere and music. Hope he doesnt mind me naming him but Lewis was an absolute legend and made the visit even more worth it; incredibly polite, friendly and helpful 👍👍👍
R. D.
Fantastic atmosphere. Our waiter was brilliant. The food was excellent.
F. M.
Came for the shirts. Staff members were nice. Only minus is the music choice. Menus could have been better.
M. R.
One of the better HRC. Food was excellent and usual great service.

Food was good, but one of the smallest hard rocks we have been too.
I. T.
Really enjoyed coming to the Hard Rock Cafe here. The people live up to their motto of serve all, although that isn't true in other parts of the world.
A. P.
Great place good food and lots of it!! Helpful staff too
j. c.
Great venue for live music! Shock City Productions have the best bands on
M. M.
Menu has been updated and improved, HR delivers what it says on the tin and is always a fun place to go.
r. e.
Always service with a smile, very cozy atmosphere. Good food, always full plates.
B. C.
Great food, great staff, good Covid 19 measures. Unusual to see video screens on with no sound but understandable due to Covid rules. Always a great place to visit.
t. H. M.
Excellent attention to detail regarding food allergies the gluten and dairy intolerant member of the party was well looked after
S. S.
Loved it here! Great atmosphere from the music and servers. We always enjoy our time at the Hard Rock Cafe.
r. r.
Great diner, food was great, as was all the staff, all very friendly and helpful. Myself & wife had 2 x Messi Burgers, Excellent, our granddaughter had kids Burger, loved it. Will definitely be back. Thanks to all the staff.
C. P.
Great place, good menu with good prices. Fantastic service for my wife who is gluten (and husband!) intolerant. Even bought some hard rock merchandise whilst we were there.
p. g.
Great atmosphere great staff what more do you need oh happy hour marvellous
R. K.
Love this place. Up a beautiful street full of architecture and grandeur.
Best nachos in town
As my gran would say “no idea what nachos are and no way I’d eat them”
Twenty mins later
“That’s the best crisps I have ever had, beans on crisps with green stuff. Delicious. Mexican you say”
P. S.
A beautiful place designed in the traditional style of Hard Rock Caffe. The quality as expected. Prices not but for a place like this.
M. H.
The food was ok not the best the drinks and the dessert were very nice and lovely.
S. 2.
Disappointed this visit, left waiting on entering, even with a booking, disregarded by member of staff and told to wait for host.food was amazing as always.only dissatisfied as last visit was amazing
C. M.
Food is great as per most HRC's what sets it apart were really friendly staff throughout. Real credit to them. Triple platinum Rita is ace.
J. T.
Great atmosphere, delicious food and lovely staff! All round a fab experience!
C. “. R. R.
Burger ok.
Personal ok.
Shrts just in small 2xl-3xl, no big size.
The room is the nicest bhind the praha hard rock.
B. T.
The staff here are great! Always enjoy my time here
L. B.
Food brilliant staff all gret form dancing to music had fabulous dinner apart from kids pizza
D.
Excellent bar full of musical nostalgia. Attentive staff and friendly service. Food looked amazing. Well worth a visit.
j. g.
Great cafe like all hard rocks, good shop very friendly service, only thing that would improve it is if they had a small stage for live bands. There are plenty of buskers in the street outside who I am sure would play, even just for tips of guests. Would add alot.
S.
Disappointed, service was not great tonight.left in limbo on arrival, even after booking.food was great as always .
L. J.
Had a great time at hard rock food and cocktails where so good our waiter josh was so helpful they play good music to go if your near one 😎
M. Š.
Top plače, nice workers, great food... A place to came back to... A must go in Glasgow. I will be back!!!
D. P.
Great service from cocktails made at your table, to selecting your choice of music, to attentive manager. And great food. Salmon was very carefully prepared.
P. M. U.
Was here to see Dirty Harry perform live. This was the first live good here in 2 years and it was well received. The band put on a great show doing all the Blondie favourites and the crowd acted like they were just happy to have live music again.
R. F.
My partner and I stopped in for a drink, we were looked after by Kieran at the bar. He really made us feel welcome and asked for songs we wanted to be played. Top customer service all round! Guy deserves a raise!
J. Z.
Great atmosphere and lovely staff. Food delicious.
J. V. I.
Great service, good music. Decently priced. Menu was very compact but made up to with everything tasting great and well portioned. Refillable sodas were a very nice american themed touch as well.
D. C.
Anyone with food intolerance or allergies gets well looked after here. The nachos are amazing. Normal menu very good. Drinks very good as well. The only criticism is it's a bit pricey
J. C. C.
Excellent musically themed venue with masses of music memorabilia. John Lennons' jacket & Bob Dylans' guitar to name a few. Food was excellent & staff were very friendly and super efficient. You need to give it a try.
G. b.
The service is amazing. They let you choose your song for the jukebox as well. Bartenders are highly skilled and super friendly. The whole are is a bit small compared to other hard rock cafe's but still a must visit.
T. B.
Good staff and service some cool music good choice food well worth visit. Just updating the location the food was well worth it the place spotless. great staff service again. Its one those places you spend about 20 mins just looking around the place. if your in city centre pop in give try. the image was taken in Sept.
L. K.
My daughter, grandson and I visited the Hard Rock in Glasgow last night and we were disappointed. First of all I ordered a margarita that looked nothing like the menu picture (it was supposed to be red but definitley wasn't) and was okay in taste but not great, then my espresso martini was also okay but nothing to write home about. Our food was tasty and we enjoyed it. Our server was pleasant but when I asked for our bill, which was £70 and change, I handed him two £50 notes and he asked me 'how much change do I owe you' What?? If I want to leave a tip I will but how dare you stand right beside me and ask how much change do you owe me? I have never been asked this in any other Hard Rock's I've been in.
b. t.
Cool cafe, delicious meals, great atmosphere, with smart choices of music..
E. W.
Quiet experience for drinks
Dirty Harry was brilliant thoo
P. G.
Ate here a few weeks ago on a trip to Scotland. Fully booked inside so had to eat outside. The food and service was really good, standard Hard Rock fare. The only downside was the very long wait times for drinks, possibly due to it being a Saturday, so we left earlier than intended. Enjoyed overall.
J. S.
Brilliant service from entering the restaurant to leaving especially from "Tam" who served with courtesy and humour. The food "Ribs" etc. was of a very high standard. Allways had a very good experience here and will defìnately revisit in the near future.Stay safe and take care.
R. M.
Amazing experience. Went on Halloween day and the dramatics were very much there. Top notch costumes and all round shenanigans made this experience worth coming from Singapore. The Singapore Hard Rock Cafe employees do not go as hard. The guy dressed as the devil was an amazing companion, helpful and incredibly charismatic 👹. Not to mention the Birthday cheer from the whole restaurant was the cherry on top.
J. D.
Had lunch here on Saint Patrick's Day, despite their being lots of tables we were asked to sit at the bar. No problem there but we would have been more comfortable sitting at lower seats. It was very cold, so cold I had to wear my coat, despite already having a warm jumper on- absolutely unacceptable levels of freezing went on. I wasn't the only one wearing their coat eating lunch. Customers should be comfortable and the heating and seating arrangements didn't accomodate that. When you're uncomfortably cold, it's doesn't matter about the food as good or not, you can't enjoy it. Sort it out Hard Rock Glasgow!
J. M.
Food was perfect and the attention to my friends food allergy was the best I'd ever experienced, the only negative was the price and how long it took for the food to arrive. Brilliant music and brilliant atmosphere though
D. L.
To be honest, I wasn't expecting much here. But pleasantly suprised. The staff were ace and set us up without a booking. The food was amazing... well played.
K. R.
Great place. Had a guiness venison burger with parmesan fries. One of the best burgers I've ever had. The mai thais and purple rains didn't hurt either lol.
Special thanks to my server Carl for making sure I was constantly attended to.
d. b.
The "fish supper" was overcooked. Fish was dry and so were the mushy peas, definitely not mushy. Service and atmosphere was good but not the food.
C.
Fantastic experience, was actually much better than I thought it would be. Great customer service from Josh and manager Mary. My son has allergies and all their ingredients where explained attentively to us. Also loved the shop and had to buy a glass 😊Will be back on our next visit to Glasgow.
R. T.
Great food with lovely staff. The bar upstairs is also excellent with some very good cocktails and pool tables
D. B.
Food was excellent, so was the service. Would highly recommend
M. S.
Not The Biggest Hard Rock I have Been to and didn't have the wow factor, service was good but slow and there was quite a delay between starters and mains, also one out of the four mains arrived 5 minutes later.
Would I go again probably yes, one more chance to make things right.
P. S.
The burger was dry and bland, but too overpriced. Have had much better burgers in Glasgow.
R. S.
Amazing service, bar staff was so friendly and helpful.
10/10
B. U.
Great place! Really sounded better than the average Hard Rock Cafe. Clean and excellent staff.
b. 1.
Great food and very civil staff. Highly recommended.
C. T.
Buzzing Hard Rock, seated quick, staff on ball, good vibe, burger awesome tried the Parmesan Fries, very nice, oh and chicken wings in mild chilli sauce, rude not to. Busy place, can see why.
R. I.
Good food, staff are friendly and good portions :)
S. J.
Food was 10/10 and the service was excellent!
I. R.
I've been in the Hard Rock Cafe twice and on both occasions all I heard was middle of the road pop songs. The staff however were excellent, no complaints there. Didn't get anything to eat so can't comment.
j. w.
Very nice surprise! I've been in a few Hard Rock cafés all overseas! And was impressed by the friendly atmosphere and attentive staff in Glasgow! Well done! I'll be back!
C. O.
Tyra was our amazing, knowledgable, and friendly server. Only issue was the service time. Very poor, had to wait long for our very delicious food. The atmosphere is great. Although, the music is very loud and you need to shout over your table to talk to whoever is sitting across/your server. Shop is surprising reasonably priced. Over all very satisfied. Will highly recommend
F. S.
Perhaps the greatest fries of glasgow? Excellent food, great staff and nice bar. Missing one star because the atmosphere was not hard rock. It was nice but not what's expected. I've visited over 24 hard rock cafes so far, all of them with live or atleast loud music, dimmed lights and an energetic ambience. The glasgow expirience did not come close to what the Hard Rock Brand usually delivers. A bit dissapointing but still recommendable!
r. h.
This place is quite popular, we had to wait for a while for the table.
Interiors were beautiful, and quite open. The portions were very generous I must say. Our waiter was very chirpy and helpful :)
N. P.
A "must to see" in glasgow, but a little less exciting than the others around the world. Interesting stuff impossible to be reached and photographed because of the restaurant. Super gentle staff!
B. W.
Nice cocktails, good food and friendly staff (Basically a well run chain)
T. J.
The staff squeezed us in on a busy Saturday night when we hadn't booked, thanks. Our meals were very tasty and the service good. Nothing bad to say.
S.
Excellent service by Nicholas.food was brilliant, great atmosphere ☺️
P. M. T.
Really nice place. Very friendly staff. Good burgers.
S. T.
Of course it's a bit pricey but awesome cocktails and nice staff. Cool merch and of course the Angus School uniform is the coolest piece in the café! 🤘
A. B.
Nothing special. Only serve draught coke which is rotten. Many people prefer cans or bottles. Staff were wonderful mind you
A. W.
Jill was phenomenal with me and my husband. I ordered plain fries and the chef gave me loaded fries. Jill went out of her way to get ne what I ordered 5 star service!
M. S.
Amazing food, great entertainment with the music, friendly staff, sung Happy Birthday to a lot of people, lovely place, highly recommended.
D. W.
it was OK. limited menu and expensive but the steak I had was cooked to perfection
M. M.
Really enjoyed our meal, especially with the eat out to help out discount!. Lisa our server was fantastic, so attentive and friendly. Would recommend.
B. B.
my first time in a hard rock cafe good service friendly staff a little expensive but at least you got to take home the cocktail glass
D. L.
Hard Rock Cafe is Hard Rock Cafe, you can find what you need here
M. B.
Amazing! Place has an unique atmosphere! Food was nice happy hour was on, definitely recommend!
J. M.
All the staff are very friendly Our waiter was Garry he was very attentive and very friendly Lovely food and the cocktails were amazing
A. D.
Lovely food and customer service was excellent. Is expensive though
K.
Food was great in quality and portion, staff gave great service, the only reason I knocked it down one star is that the building was very cold and most of my family had to keep our coats on to stay warm.
I. S.
Great location. This HRC is located in an old theater. Very nice!
S. B.
Had booked for the cocktail making class, with the lunch option. If you get the chance, do this class! What a hoot from start to finish. Huge thanks to Andy for putting up with us all 😁
K. H.
40+ years of being loyal, our 2nd visit to the Glasgow HRC, particularly liked the Pete Townshend Cossie and worldwide...take on Holy Modal Rounders classic
K. B.
Feel like the menu was very limited compared to the last time I visited felt like there wasn't as much on it. Waited 20 mins for a coke. Food was nice though and place very clean.
A. W.
What an excellent adventure. Rocked out with 70's music during a fantastic meal. Thanks so much for a great evening. 👍
M. S.
It is a great place to go with friends, indeed. Quite pricey but hard rock cafes are known for this. Good food and very good service! And also pretty beautiful. Kinda small, but I don't mind =)
A. M.
Great staff and great food also loved the cocktails
r.
High prices, but you get what you paid for.
Excellent, well trained staff. Food was delicious and very well presented. Food allergies are well catered for, receiving manager's attention. Would certainly visit again.
P. D.
Ths is a very nice location. Go there !
The building is magnificent
S. E.
A must do for any Hard Rock fan
K. E.
It was nice the meal was lovely. Atmosphere was ok but the price of drinks was through the roof. £12 for a drink is a bit steep. I went for tap water.
F. B.
I went there to buy some t-shirts. A lot of variety and the customer service is very helpful and gave us good suggestions
A. b.
Dinner was lovely. Mocktails were delicious but best of all was our server. Craig went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful anniversary dinner. Couldn't thank him enough 😁❤
H. W.
Was very good service excellent.food good very big portion. The sangria cocktail delish.the only problem was we where sitting just down from the bar and everytime the door for the toilets opened it was freezing.I wish i had asked to be moved as it did spoil it a bit.but was my fault for not making this known.
D. O.
Good service. Veggie burger was really nice. Entry was a little slow, too many staff asking about reservations but that's not a huge issue. Service was really good once seated.
G. B.
Food was good, would recommend the nachos for sharing they were so tasty but make sure you are hungry enough as its a large portion! even for two it would be a struggle for most. Me and my wife love nachos though so we finished ours!
Service was great, all staff from entering the door were very friendly and accommodating.
The only complaint I'd have is the cocktails, they were very overpriced. You wouldn't expect to pay double figures for a long island, in a pretty small glass.
t. d.
Very pleasant place for listening my favourite music drinking cocktails and eat nice food!
g. T.
Fantastic service at the Hard Rock Cafe Our server Andy went above and beyond and made our experience all the better. Will definitely be returning when we are next in town.
L. S.
Staff missed a meal, where all over the place and this was not just at our table. A glass was sticky. The food was 5 star the service was mediocre.
A. D.
Friendly staff.Quick service and great food.
A. S.
The staff couldn't do enough for us. The only small issue was we were sitting in the bar area and the bar man was on his own, so was unable to look after us for 20 until I grabbed another member of staff to tell them we had been waiting 20 minutes without service. The barman did come and apologise but he was trying to look after the whole place for drinks on his own. We should have been offered a free drink for the inconvenience. However, we were happy as the barman did apologise in person for missing us. Other staff apologised too.
C. G.
A nice medium sized Hard Rock in the centre of Glasgow. The interior is quite stunning with a high vaulted ceiling over the dining area and the usual collection of 'Rock n Roll' memorabilia adorning the walls. The staff were friendly and chatty. Whilst the website (where we booked our table) said it wasn't a busy night there were not many tables free so I would advise booking ahead. The menu is fairly standard I think across the chain, we had the combo starter between three of us (one veggie) then a burger each; Venison, BBQ Cheese and the 'Moving Mountains' veggie burger. There were no issues with anything. All in all a nice dining experience.
S. H.
Little confusing on how to get to around when youre inside the building but it’s not rocket science. Service is great and food is delicious!!
C. Z.
Food was good piss on the toilet floor staff were very friendly
M. D.
Typical hard rock, bloody good food and amazing service. Really nice venue on multiple floors in the heart of Glasgow, can't go wrong really.
G. C.
Fast and freindly service food was a great offering and also potions where great
t. g.
Absolutely loved our visit.
Service was top notch.
Food was gorgeous and the atmosphere was brilliant.
s. M.
Fantastic food and the waitress could not be more helpful
M. L.
The food is very nice, it doesn't remind of fast food style like other hard rock cafes around the world!!! Service is excellent, our waiter has the Scottish accent and he was very friendly! The decoration is the typical decoration like all of the others hard rock cafes, although the structure of the restaurant is very nice and prototypical
T. O.
Was a great dining EXPERIENCE. Lovely atmosphere with friendly service and the food is of good quality.
Variety of menu can be a bit of an issue, most of the cocktails contain rum and food is very American. But if you don't see these as issues then it really is a great place to eat!
I. “. G.
Good food, great staff, but not quite there yet. I've been all around the world eaten in some amazing restaurants and some.... Not so good. Hard Rock tries hard but missed the mark. Food was decent but not great, drinks no complaints, staff and service were excellent, toilets very poor, prices too high. So only 4 stars, would I go again... Unlikely too, far better eateries in town with better atmosphere & without the bejazzle and costs.
a. m.
Lovely food, fast efficient service.
Enjoyed our lunch and cocktails.. definitely go back again
J. R.
Great food. Service could be better. Mojito not up to other standards elsewhere.
S. V.
Food was great service was great music was great...
J. C.
The overall experience here is good, possible great with a less busy day, but not amazing. We had our table booked for 6pm, and we arrived 10 minutes early as we did have to leave by 7:30pm. Unfortunately, when we arrived our table was not available, and not made available until 6:20pm. On the bright side, the food service was pretty good and arrived quicker than expected, however we did not have time for dessert. The food itself was pretty good, the kind of thing you would expect, however, was a tad on the steep side. The waiter we had, Josh, was very helpful and kind that we were short on time, and helped the food getting to us quicker. The gentleman was polite when serving us. I'm sure on a less busy day, this could be bumped to 4 stars.
J. B.
Nice place ..lovely food..Very friendly staff
C. A.
As with every Hard Rock Cafe that we have visited the food, staff and atmosphere was fantastic. It was a busy Saturday night but we got seated quickly. This was the first time that I had taken the kids and the menu was great, lots of choices and good prices. Our server was very attentive and polite during the whole visit and was able to have a laugh with him too. Thoroughly recommend this if you are looking for a good burger and some great music while you eat too.
A. G.
Excellent quality, tasty and freshly prepared food. Not cheap at all, but all great quality. Staff are friendly and helpful, walls are covered with interesting music relics. Staff offered music of our choice, and the building is epic. The old Glasgow Athaneum has been largely retained and interior architecture is wonderful. Recommended.
C. K.
Fantastic food and absolutely amazing drinks.
Jill our waitress was incredibly friendly and full of advice on what to order. She was brilliant!!
Would fully recommend
C. “.
Love the atmosphere in here, prices seem fair. Only down side for me is most of the cocktails have strawberry which I'm allergic to. Returned today and staff couldn't do enough to ensure that the drinks I ordered had no contact with strawberries. Well worth more than 5 stars.
T. B.
The staff were polite and welcoming and light hearted which was nice. The food was OK and fairly priced.
C. J.
Oh man, you have to try the new Messi burger, at 10 £ is an steal!!!!!
Staff is quite friendly, ( be ready to head the absolutely fantastic Glaswegian accent!!!!!)
T. S.
Went for a couple of drinks with my friend, it was both our first time and we were pleasantly surprised, the drinks and service were spot on and had the best bar tender Kieran
E. S.
Fantastic atmosphere and great hamburger!
K. L.
Lovely lunch waitress very friendly and helpful. Had a sharing starter with 5 different items and numerous dips, very tasty. We all had burgers for main all rating highly for taste especially the venison burger I’m told.
No one managed desert as we were so full but looking around at deserts for other tables they looked very nice.
All portions are very big, next time I’m asking for the children’s menu. Please leave a like.
M. A.
Good food and friendly employees. A lot of options on their gluten free menu.
A. G.
Staff are fantastic food was great
H. M.
We were there to celebrate my daughters birthday. Our server was excellent efficient and very friendly. Food was delicious.
S. A.
Food was great but a bit pricey. Staff where excellent.
A. C.
A great place to dine with friends and or family while enjoying great food and music. The portion sizes are just right considered the cost of the items. The nachos are a great plate to share or eat solo (and then take home the rest) since the portion is huge. Try out the Local Legendary if you want an original burger that's unique to the Hard Rocks location. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Currently due to Covid there are restrictions put in place but they are all necessary and don't really tamper with the whole experience. Also, Hard Rock has extended the Eat Out to Help Out scheme (valid from Mon-Wed) so there's an added incentive to go.
L. W.
Similar standard to all other hard rock cafes. Got some cool stuff. Good standard that you would expect from the brand
S. S.
Had a brilliant 100% customer service experince in the Glasgow branch.
Chris who worked in the shop while I visited went sbove and beyond to exchange my hoodie, he called another branch to help sort my issue and made me feel like a valued customer.
Thank you so much to Chris and I hope he gets the praise he deserves from management.
Sita
I. L.
Brilliant atmosphere. Food was fantastic and not as expensive as I thought it would be, staff were friendly and looked after us well. Highly recommended
R. W.
Nice place to eat with fun atmosphere but not as good as some of the other Hard Rock Cafes. Food is great as is standard at HRC and cocktail selection is amazing. Feels a bit like too many tables are squished in the place but its fun and the servicing staff are really exceptional. Nice central location too.
R. M.
Arrived a bit early and had covid check, i asked to wait for our table at the bar, after a wee wait was shown to a table at the bar while our table was prepared. Eventually someone took a drinks order (not the fastest) and ordered a couple of cocktails which duly arrived just as we were informed our table was ready. Ordered a starter (wings) and a couple of burgers. Service was ok and the waitress pleasant. Wings were a bit burnt, Tescos are better but burgers were ok, ordered a couple of beers which took ages to come. On leaving we exited through a door into a smelly dirty wee alley and had a glimpse to the right, obviously a staff smoking arra which was disgusting and made oneself question the hygiene inside, totally not impressed and dont think i would hurry back anytime soon 🙁
M. J.
Speccy, Bryce and Merry (Manager) service has been amazing. Have been visiting consecutively since the last 3 days. Will visit for the next 2 days again till I go back to London. Well done Merry's team, amazing job!!!
R. R.
Excellent pub, great atmosphere 😊
K. T.
While waiting to be seated (make sure you make reservations online), my dad and I sat at the bar and ordered drinks. Fantastic bartender, who was not only friendly and knowledgeable, but made amazing drinks. I ordered a Bahama Mama and about two or three Mojitos because they were so good.
When we were finally seated, the food was decent, but the service was a little scrambled. The place was packed, which I assume is why the waiters were taking long. Took our waiter about 10-15 minutes to take our order and get drinks, and was overall slow throughout our time.
However, the atmosphere is incredible. The decor is awesome, and nothing better than having a drink while watching a variety of music videos on the wall. I'd definitely come back, great place for drinks.
A. O.
Amazing staff, so friendly and helpful. Booked reservation online and noted I'm gluten free and on arrival they had their gluten free menu ready for me to look at.
Best service I could ask for. Thankyou to Esther who was our waitress and the young gentleman who seated us.
The gift shop has something for everyone also.
Not overly priced either, would highly recommend to others to dine in at hard Rock Glasgow.
S. W.
Great building and love what they have done to the place. The team are so friendly and enthusiastic and made the dining experience a fun filled one. The food on the other hand didn't really wow me. It was OK, but for the price I could of got something a lot nicer and better quality at one of the independent burger places in Glasgow city centre. Would go again for drinks but probably not the food.
J. H.
Only downside was we had to wait more than 40 minutes for food to our table, then we had to send a burger back as it was half cooked. Which meant someone was eating alone because by the time a new meal come out everyone else at our table had finished their food. The alcoholic drinks were served first but 10 minute wait for soft drinks. On the whole not the best visit but good was lovely and staff very friendly and helpful.👍
M. O.
Friendly restaurant with great staff providing a great service. Portion size is really good & you'll be lucky to make it to desert. Good cocktails and nice selection of merchandise. Quiet on a Thursday evening in March so no delays with food orders. Happily come back.
D. M.
Great drinks. Pool hall. Good music. Good atmosphere and great art on the walls (many a guitar). Lovely place.
A. K. D.
This place is amazing.. Ambiance is nice. I found the music bit loud though not a big fan of hard Rock.. Biggest disappointment was food was bit overpriced compared to price.. Overall nice experience.. Would rate 7/10. Can surely visit once in a while..
B. W.
First time visit on 24th birthday. Looked forward to seeing memorabilia. Jaw-unhinging burger was mouth-watering. The surprise birthday ice cream was an event topper. Thanks guys!
K. M.
Excellent food and service, our waitress was superb banter. (Carly)
S. H.
A cheeky lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe. Fabulous food and excellent service.
G. M.
Great food and lovely, lovely staff. Had a delightful time.
G. W.
Very tasty food. Chocolate brownie was just the best ever! Waitress was so attentive and helpful.
J. G.
Lovely food, staff where fantastic.
A. T.
Whenever of I'm in a city needing reliable food and a good atmosphere, Hard Rock is always a sure bet. The staff at this branch were friendly, quick and ensured Covid protocols were followed.
A. C. J. X. G.
Best burger meal I’ve ever had. Staff is very nice and attentive, and following all sanitisation protocols required during this pandemic.
T. F.
Bit on the expecive side however well worth the price,Four of us sharing a starter and having two courses each.
Being a vegetarian it's always hard to find somewhere that puts as much love into their vegetarian option as they do there meat options and hard Rock does that amazingly.
Think of each star as two 10/10.
B. M.
Was in today and was served by both Tegan and Dave. Both of them very polite, approachable and friendly and made sure our drinks were top tier level of class. Definitely would come back, could not think of a single complaint. Music is good, drinks are good, brilliant time to be had.
E. R.
Just been to the hard rock cafe tonight. Wanted to look around the stuff they had on the walls and they kindly showed me everything upstairs. Really quality staff. There was a young small lady in the shop and I didn't catch her name and she directed me down to a man who was able to show me upstairs quickly. I came back down , had a good look around and went back to the shop where she gave me great stories about the place. I wish I got both of their names because honestly their service was exceptional. The lady really knew her stuff and generally a pleasure to talk to - excellent customer service, the man was a pleasure to meet - thank you for the memorable experience!
J. M.
Came for an anniversary meal was perfect couldn't fault the place one bit, fantastic food and fantastic customer service from our server Tam funny outgoing and bubbly he definitely made our night the extra bit better!! Will definitely be coming back! Outstanding service
M.
First visit and I will definitely return. Drinks only on this occasion and they were reasonably priced. I would have liked to have seen some more memorabilia.
C. O.
You know what you're getting at a hard rock cafe if you've been before. They had a tapas style menu when we visited for a bit of variety. I never rate the burgers (always dry and bit bland - certainly not the best Glasgow has to offerq). But wings are always a good choice.
Given the covid joys, seemed the atmosphere was a bit grim. No music playing throughout. But staff were great and can't fault them on safety precautions.
J. Z.
Went for a belated birthday meal
had fabulous steak as did my wife, could not fault the placc, staff could not be more helpful.
Only one small moan there were several young children running around & the servers were trying to serve hot food, the parents of the kids were too busy drinking 🍻 and obviously oblivious as to what their kids were doing.
But l had a great night as always🤗🤗
K. R.
Great atmosphere staff are fun, friendly and very helpful. The food is tasty and comes out fast. Highly recommend you visit here if in Glasgow.

We always enjoy going to a Hard Rock restaurant. Food is good and the service is excellent. My only complaint this time was the menu was very restricted.
T. C.
Place looks great and staff friendly and welcoming. Was unfortunate that we were turned because of a fire alarm, our server was sensible and calm but when we asked another staff member if we should exit out of a door she said she didn't know as she hadn't been in this situation before. Hard Rock could def do with upping their health and safety and fire drill training.
The server was attentive, warm and friendly. Couldn't fault him.
The food.... nothing to write home about.
I asked for NY strip medium rare, it was tough and more towards medium than medium/rare. Photo shows pinkest bit. Found a little bit of tin foil as well, glad it didn't hit my filling.
My daughter had a burger and the onion ring on it was delicious. The burger was s standard fair, nothing special.
Price for 2 drinks and a main was £50. Not really worth it with much better value and quality of food to be found a street away. A bit disappointed. It was adequate.
C. M.
It's a brilliant restaurant with brilliant food, drinks and service, the waiters/waitress' were absolutely amazing 6/5
J. M.
Great food in a brilliant setting. Can be expensive but well worth it. Massive portions and lots of choice. All cocktails were £3.95 on a special so even better. Very friendly staff who couldn't have been any better and very quick service. The food was amazing too.

The best cowboy rideye a have ever had will be going back
B. J.
Had a really great time here. Arrived an hour before our reservation but it was no issue. Staff in both the restaurant and gift shop were super friendly. Food was also perfectly cooked. Have been to many HRCs all over the world and this is easily in the top 3.

This was a bus tour operated by Grays. Jamie our driver was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and kept us interested throughout this tour. Stopped at a place called Callender, beautiful, wished we could have spent longer there. The tour is well worth the money and the scenery is fabulous.
L.
We were served by Sara who really made our experience great! Perfect customer service, huge portions and very good quality. I'd definitely recommend the starter Nacho's with steak, enough for 2 people!
G. M.
Great place to enjoy good music and delicious food. We both had the beacon cheeseburger with chips and loved it. The barbeque dip was yummy. We also enjoyed some great cocktails and beers during our stay there. But the best thing was that we could place our music wishes to the "dj guy" (sorry, I forgot his name). It was definitely an awesome evening!

Went to the Hard Rock Cafe in Glasgow yesterday for a birthday treat for today. Was met, served, and explained about the covid situation very clearly. Resturant was clean, Tidy and sanitised well. Social distance was well adhered to. Amber was my server a wee sweetheart 💕 made me feel very welcome will visit again in the future. Well done Glasgow 👏 5/5
W. C. K.
Amazing food and service! So friendly and helpful. Straight away asked if we wanted drinks (they know Glaswegians well) and never kept waiting. Chicken wings and prawn starters were delicious. Plus Angus Young memorabilia! Deffo visit again.
C. G.
Fantastic night here for our children's birthday meals. Attentive friendly staff, specifically Josh and manager Mary. Thank you for a wonderful meal and experience.
M. G.
First time visit with my son last night. Very good food, very full belly and the music and set up bang on. Will be back soon.
S.
Good Covid measures on arrival. Temperature scanning and hand sanitizer. Tables well spaced out and staff wearing masks. One way in/out.
This was a friend visit because we were both celebrating a birthday.
Arek our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. We had the Tupelo Chicken Tenders and the the Big Cheeseburger with skin on fries, both had loads of flavour. I loved the chipotle mayo with my burger. Always love the homemade onion rings.
Arek made a point of informing us of the size of our chocolate brownie and so we shared the gooey delight with ice cream/cream with sauce and nuts sprinkled over . We loved the pinot grigio and then the fresh agave margarita and dark and Stormy cocktails...
We will be back to enjoy the Eat out to Help out...

great food - good music - delicious cocktails - nice interior
We have been to other Hard Rock Cafes and this one is one of the Top 3 for us! We had very charming and nice waiters (Karl, Martin) & waitresses. The food was great and the cocktails were delicious. We had a great time there, enjoyed the music and the interesting architecture. Will definitely come back as soon as we are in Glasgow
A. S.
From time I entered was met with a courteous reception and taken to a table Staff very helpful Service and food very acceptable I had the Salmon ! I will visit again like the surroundings !
M. A. L.
It's always a pleasure to eat in a hard rock. Smaller than others, but the same nice food and polite people.
But don't expect much rock as background music.. Too much pop.
The burger is great, as well as the oreo cake.
D. B.
First time at a Hard Rock Cafe and was a really fun night. Everyone working there was super friendly and seemed to be genuinely happy that they worked there (loads of smiles and enthusiasm); always giving recommendations and making good conversation. Restaurant/ bar area was originally a theatre and the decor suits the place well. Food was great, drinks were amazing, wouldn't go here for a quiet night though. Joint best cocktails in Glasgow with The Spiritualist on Miller St.
P. M.
Was at the Hard Rock Cafe for lunch. Excellent at the door. Temp checked. Took to out table and staff were great. Service was good but starter appeared within minutes of ordering. Obviously sitting on a hot plate. Ordered the cheese burger as a main. All fine but my only complaint is the actual burger meat was fairly poor standard. Not a hand crafted burger just a mass produced lifeless effort of no very tasty meat. Everything else was fine just a rather weak burger...tbh. expected something way better. You certainly don't get this in the states but he ho. Staff were fine though. For the prices that are being charged...it failed to delivery. Could have got the same burger in weatherspons for a fiver plus a drink lol😎
b. m.
Awesome, can't go wrong with Hardrock cafe. This time we went for drinks and desserts with the kids, always a fan, music's great and the staff (Jill) were ace!
L. M.
Wow fab experience fab food fab staff. A must do if in Glasgow
L. D.
Was served by Jill or maybe jen and she was very lovely and had a genuine charm about her. Food was excellent as always, the manager was also very charismatic and funny.
B. F.
This is a really nice place. We had a couple of very nice red wines. The staff were brilliant but we didn't eat here the portions looked huge the onion rings the size of man hole covers. I would probably had a heart attack.
S.
Gorgeous inside, very conscientious waiters and waitresses, food was amazing, luke was absolutely incredible and could not fault him in the slightest, we absolutely loved him! Can't wait to come back and hope to have luke as a waiter again! ❤
R. J.
Expected a decent burger, the kind you expect from a large chain. Turned out to be the best burger I have had in a long time. Luke the server was a pristine example of how customer service should be. Food and service superb, what else do you want?
G. L.
Got this as a gift for our 36th wedding anniversary great reception very friendly nice table menu very limited for our Diamod menu Anyway fresh salad to start ceaser or ranch dressing it was ok 👍 my husband had the barbecue chicken option I had the mac n cheese with the chicken Delicious Chocolate cake Sooo yummy and I had The Caribbean Cocktail 🍸 so lovely Even bought the glass lol all in all a great place will certainly be coming back Yum
G. L.
First time in the place and great meal. A lot quieter than I thought it would be and very reasonably priced for the city centre
A. D.
Really enjoyed my meal here. Pleased i booked in as it was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday night. So i would recommended booking just to be safe.
Service was good however the waiters and waitresses did seem stretched due to how busy it was.
Food was spot on and really enjoyed it.
F. H.
Not my best experience at Hard Rock Cafe
J. P.
Lovely cocktails and friendly staff
j. M.
My sister and I had a lovely meal there today..Sammie who was serving us was so cheerful and helpful making sure we had everything we needed and if our meal was okay..so attentive..will definitely be back...😊 all the staff were brilliant..
K. T.
Friendly staff, dull interiors. Probably covid restrictions, but no menu available, have to rely on staff memory for menu. The scanned code doesn't work. Music not hard Rock loud enough. Felt like sitting in some neighborhood pub.
L. C.
Love the half price cocktails during Mon - Thursday, staff really helpful and friendly
R. M.
If you're going for lunch or dinner it's worth booking in advance, that way you aren't waiting around on a table as the place does get very busy. We've been a few times, the burgers are good but to me, the rest of the food is a bit pub grubbish.
Last time we went just went in for a few drinks which was good as you also get decent music while having a laugh with friends.
P. B.
Wredd, tegan and bernie were outstanding. 5 stars isnt enough. There wasnt any seats inside but wredd sorted us out. Rearranged some seats so we could get inside. I'm here right now. Gonna go cos I have a tequila to take. Just wanted to sing their praises before I get too drunk and forget. Will defo be back
m. c.
Always love coming here great atmosphere fantastic food and very friendly and helpful staff.
A. C.
It's the hard rock so you kind of know what to expect but the prices are exorbitant for what you get. Over £4 for a beer and over a tenner for burgers . The quality of food is ok but you can get as good and better elsewhere for less . Music is good and the memorabilia is always worth a look but your paying through the nose for it.
A. T.
Better than the Edinburgh one as the restaurant layout is so much better and you don't feel so crammed in. The menu was not as extensive as i had hoped basically it is just burgers or steaks. Prices are expensive for what you receive on your plate. Overall the food was nice, the service was good and they have a decent selection of drinks to go with your meal. They do have a gift shop on premises where they sell Hard Rock t-shirts and drinking glasses. Prepare your wallet for a fleecing because this is expensive too.
T. N.
Stopped off today for a few beers and a bite to eat. Sat outside in the sunshine. Staff were fabulous. Constantly checking on us to see if we needed anything. Could not fault anything. Will definitely return on our next visit to Glasgow
C. M.
Visited Hard Rock Cafe today in Glasgow with my boyfriend and had to leave a review!
First we were sat by Lewis, a brilliant, eccentric host with the best patter who made us feel welcome as soon as we came in. Our waitress Jill was absolutely wonderful, incredibly attentive and made every bit of our visit memorable. The food was excellent, minus a slight mix up with our main courses (which Jill apologised for and had our correct order on our table within 10 minutes!), the cocktails were fabulous and Jill made sure we never even finished our drinks before grabbing us more. We had a brilliant time.
Not a frequent guest at Hard Rock Glasgow but after today I'll certainly be visiting more often :)
B. M.
This was an incredible restaurant and the five stars are well earned. Along with flawless service and friendly and knowledgeable staff the food was impeccable. I would suggest a legendary burger for anyone looking for a big ,filling and meat lover dream burger. As it is a rock restaurant of course there are some amazing ' rock artifacts ' so to speak and great history behind them. The TV's around the restaurant which show the music videos of different artists is a really great touch. And if you would like a song they are more than happy to put it on there play list. I can not give this place enough praise. Just a great place to grab a bit to eat especially if you love rock.
C.
Fantastic place with lots of memorabilia! Great for any rock lover, great selection on their menu with something to suit everyone!
N. B.
Food was good. Service and staff were really nice and friendly. Kids loves the little guitar they got their meals on.
V. M.
Not the best HRC I've been but it's good , food was good , cocktail was ok , not as cool as other I've been inside
L. D.
Great atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff, brilliant service. Advise anyone visiting Glasgow to go for a drink at least to say you have been. Restaurant was busy so didnt manage to get a table but hopefully next time. Great merchandise in the shop.
A. B.
Meal, service and staff very good. Asked about live band and told upstairs by desk staff and server so after meal and bottle of wine, saving some for the show went up to the venue only to be told there was a charge of£17 pp. Would prefer to know before buying meal about the charge.
l. l.
Great food an helpful staff.
J. C.
Great night. We had a burger, which was dynamite and few beers before heading upstairs for a Shock City Productions gig featuring a Thunder tribute band. Smashing wee venue, the band were top notch. The staff were as you'd expect for HRC - friendly and super attentive. Keep up the goo work Shock City 🤘
M. R.
Great atmosphere, great tasting food. Didn't have to wait for a table either.
Have to say Jill was fantastic, honestly the best waitress I have ever seen in any restaurant ive been in. She created a fun atmosphere and a great dining experience. She was always there to help and even mentioned some favorites from the menu. You could tell she really cared, which is a hard thing to come by these days.
Her accent rocks aswell (sorry for the pun lol)
M. H. M. I.
Friendly staff operating the hard rock shop. Good experience shopping there. Clean cafe but didnt stay for a drink 😁
T. C.
Amazing food did not disappoint, also visited the new York hard rock cafe and this was just as good. Abit pricey but expected. Absolutely amazing customer service, probably the best I ever had, really attentive and friendly.
E. P.
our waiter douglas was so nice! i wanted to write a nice review because we realised we forgot to tip you and we felt bad :( douglas was so nice and had a lovely, chill attitude! thank u for serving us :)
D. L.
Very nice place with very nice, kind and helping staff, the place is nicely managed and the overall decor is outstanding.
I haven't tried too many of the foods but the bar is loaded with pretty much everything you need, all under a nice ambience of cool music.
Surely is the perfect place to have some rest a drink and some food, even when you are on the go.
S. B.
First visit was terrible, wrong orders and other mistakes. However our second visit 2 days later was much better!
B. A.
Had a great meal and our waiter was fantastic.

Nacho's and ribs are delicious
J. W.
Red was a brilliant host and had us laughing the whole time. Gary was attentive and seemed genuinely interested in providing a class experience. Well done folks
P. M.
Good cocktail menu and feels a bit more grown up than the equivelant TGI's nearby. Really interesting surroundings and atmosphere but be prepared to pay over the odds, this place is expensive! Good for an occasional treat but this is most definately not an "every weekend " type of place.
K. H.
One of the best nights out we have had in a long time. We did the cocktail masterclass learning some of the tricks of the trade with David the Cocktail barman then following this had dinner. Was really good fun and amazing value. If you get the chance, do it.
S. C.
Good food and service, friendly staff.
R. P.
Had cocktails here on a Wednesday night, £4.95 each and absolutely perfectly made. The staff were lovely and welcoming too
J. R.
Really big sized portions of food. I had the ribs- couldn't even finish them. The only reason it is not four star is the food wasnt hot enough for me. I like my food piping hot. Great service and good food. I would go back again.

We attended the restaurant as we were attending a gig upstairs later on. I had the vegetarian fajitas, there was plenty of veg and it was spicy hot and tasty. My only criticism would be that I would have prefered mushrooms instead of broccoli in my stirfry veg. My friends had the ultimate burgers and their feedback was also excellent. The beer was decent and soft drinks had free refills. Overall we enjoyed the meal.
The concert area is really nice with a bar and the Hard Rock theme continuing throughout. The toilet was wonderfully clean and tidy and the bar well staffed. I would attend more concerts at this venue but concert appear limited.
A. G.
I was in for a charity quiz night so didn't try any cocktails or food. My main issue was the music. I expected some rock, but the first few songs playing in the main bar were Jesse J and Ed Sheeran! The staff were great though and the food prepared for the buffet was great.
K. L.
The BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich is one of the best things I have eaten recently, like it is seriously yummy!! 10/10 would recommend. Good service, excellent music, decent prices.
M. C.
The cocktails are Hard Rock's primary offering and the decor and atmosphere is good. Food is ok but nothing special. Whilst the cocktails are not bad and the staff are capable and friendly and the venue itself has some undeniable polish, it's all quite overpriced which is why the average person won't want to stay beyond a couple of rounds at the most. Hard Rock Cafe offers a manufactured, cosmopolitan coolness that is ultimately riding its soulless and self-inflated billion dollar brand as hard as it can. It'll eagerly drain your wallet fast but isn't too worried about the delivery. So ultimately, the value for money ratio is poor. Skip the food, stay for one round and move on.
L. s.
Great food & service 100% on top of cleaning for covid.
J. J.
Great place to dine and wine
D. G.
Okay, you know what your getting with the HRC. You wouldn't be in there if you didn't know the price, so let's leave that out of the review. We had the mixed starter to begin. Big portion, great taste, good mixture of sauces. I had the legendary burger (absolutely fine as burgers go) and my much better half had the club sandwich (again fine) but we both had the chilli chips. Avoid, avoid, avoid! They are so strong they are practically inedible, and judging by the number of uneaten bowls round about us we weren't the only ones. So, leaving the chips aside good quality American grub in quality surroundings..
L. A.
Came for food, cocktails and to see the led zeppelin tribute band
S. M.
Food is good and plentiful and we had great table service.
Great looking old building inside and out, just feels a bit cramped.
Poor bar staff always seem to be run ragged but friendly when they eventually get time to serve you.
M. H.
American food presented in a nice restaurant with great service from the dedicated servers. However if you have mobility issues please be warned there are several steps to get into the place and whilst there is a lift inside access might prove difficult.
K. P.
It's Hard Rock Cafe, however the music that was played had nothing to do with the proper rock. All we could hear was Cher, Rita Ora or Drake - shame because you choose to go there for the atmosphere and the music. Food was good and a very friendly staff.
I. W.
Took my sister on Saturday afternoon and she really enjoyed it. It was the 1st time she had been. We will be returning. 4 people were enjoying their birthdays. Great music & ambience. 👍👍👍👍
R. S.
This is a very nice Hard Rock. Great bar, the usual friendly staff, impressive memorabilia, and half the seating space is where the orchestra (?) used to be. It is, after all, situated in what used to be a theatre. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is because I have been in even better Hard Rocks.
P. C.
Lovely food .
Great music . Great decor .
Staff a bit lax however, my girlfriend stood at bar for almost 10 mins whilst 3 staff members stood and chatted amongst each other when they knew she was waiting for service. Improvements in that respect should be fed back to staff.
L. T.
Limited cocktail choices if you’re not a rum drinker, but after asking, was told the spirits can be swapped for something you prefer. Food and service were good. We found the restaurant to be cold, and the toilets freezing. Overpriced, but so is every Hard Rock Cafe.
H. H.
This was our first visit to Hard Rock Cafe and can't wait to visit again. The service was first class as was the food. The real bonus for me, (being coeliac) was the separate gluten free menu which had plenty to choose from, with several choices of starters, mains and desserts. 10/10
W. V.
Great environment, happy waitress (forgot her name.. Sarah maybe?) Gave us great cocktail recommendations, we also had some food. Very tasty and quite unique.
