Great place with friendly waiting staff. Generous portions of tasty food. Between my wife, I and our 2 kids we had scallops, calamari, pasta, mussels and risotto. All dishes were excellent and we'll be back soon thanks too all. Paolo.

A family get together,(7 of us) food was delicious, my son had the asparagus risotto & his wife had some, the next day she was planning a home delivery of the risotto as she enjoyed it so much! We all cleared our plates & will definitely be back

I had booked a table for a birthday party weeks in advance and was assured that we would have the one table. I was also advised that day it was the one table but when we arrived they separated the party in 2 tables. When I asked to speak to the manager I was advised they were on holiday. Get the impression they are only interested in getting the bookings/money. Such a shame as the food was nice but we won't be returning.

A sincerely managed business. Menu standard Italian, pasta and pizza. No elegant surprises. Reasonably priced. Cheerful staff and engaged owners. Deserves a chance as they are emerging from the Sturgeon Lock-ups. I wish them well in their enterprise.

Fantastic food and great service. Would highly recommend and will certainly be back. Only issue is lack of parking as the one at the back of the restaurant is a max stay of 1 hour however plenty of parking on nearby streets.

Went for dinner and drinks and it was just lovely. A little hidden gem, definitely worth a visit. Amazing food, Great cocktails, the staff couldn't have been any nicer and very nice décor. My friends and I shall be back. 5*

Mixed review, was in today for the 2 course lunch. 1pm on a Tuesday but it was surprisingly busy. Three members of staff on. We were seated promptly and served quickly. Starters were all very good, I eat Minestrone a lot and I really enjoy one that's full of chunky veg which this was. Kids meal did seem good value but we were charged for the kids drink which we had to have removed from the bill as it was meant to be included. After sitting for 45 min after the starters were cleared we asked the waiter where our mains were. He rather rudely informed us that can't we see that they are busy and that they are on their way! We were a bit surprised by his attitude, no apology, no offer to check and see what had happened. After sitting for another 15 min (2.30pm now) I approached the bar with an empty jug to ask for water. 90 minutes and no offer to replenish drinks... At this point the young man behind the bar apologised for the wait, said that there had been a mix up and that our food would be with us very soon. At least there was an apology! It was clear there had been a problem as tables that had arrived at the same time as us had had two courses and left. Mains arrived and I can honestly say that they were all delicious, we had to eat fast as we were picking people up at 3pm. Such a shame as we would have liked a coffee and possibly a dessert. We left at 2.55pm and didn't tip as we had felt largely ignored. The food however is nice, good portions and a good price for £9.95 for 2 courses. If time is no object or if there are more/different staff on I would go back.

I've been to Leonardo's a couple of times recently and had a really good meal on both occasions. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is a calm and comfortable atmosphere. There's a good selection of wines to complement the varied range of food on offer so overall I'm very happy to give a five star rating.

Don't know how anyone can give this place any less than top marks! I do think people have forgotten we have been in lockdowns and I can only imagine how hard it is for the hospitality industry getting back into the swing of things. Found this little gem during lockdown and had a few deliveries from them, yesterday we managed to go into the restaurant for the first time. Was very pleasantly surprised with how nicely decorated the place is, nice and clean environment. Staff very friendly and helpful. I have a dairy intolerance (most of the food does unfortunately have some form of dairy) BUT I told the waitress this and she checked if the chef could alter the dishes for me which they did. The younger waitress even offered me some oat milk for a coffee if I wanted it. Food is delicious and massive portions - this is coming from someone who eats a lot! Risotto in this place is amazing and the foccacia is the best I have had. Would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant, we will definitely be back! :)

Lovely restaurant, I ordered a delivery last night and we got surprised at the door with a free bottle of wine, as my order was over £30.00. Safe to say I was very chuffed! The food was also amazing. I have also been inside the restaurant for food, and the staff are so welcoming and lovely. Great place!!

Staff were pleasant and inside is nicely decorated. Personally, given the other options nearby and that much of the food is cheap to make, the pricing is a little steep for what’s being served. We waited quite some time for service at times, with customers lucky to have one girl on the floor at any given time, so they definitely need more staff. We arrived before 7 and didn’t get a main course til around 8 o’clock. Food was quite nice but I could go elsewhere and get the same quality of food or better for a more reasonable price.

Just home from restaurant. First of all I would like to say the food was delicious. So We ordered and we asked for Foccacia with mozzarella and some water for the table. Foccacia came without mozzarella and no water which was never questioned. Waiters had no chat what so ever and only came to table when waved over. Service was poor and we asked to take home food. Let down with service we could have been invisible. It's all about the experience and this was not what I imagined especially the first time after lockdown

Went for the first time today 3/1/20. It won’t be the last time. Can’t believe we have this fabulous restaurant on our corner. First of all the staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you. The food is amazing and they give you a bit of time between courses. I hate it when your food is brought out as soon as you finish one course. I had my Special Needs Daughter with me and my husband and they were so great with her. There was an older gentleman there and he was amazing with her. He even gave her a sweet free of charge. It is a family run and family orientated restaurant. Prices were good too. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and me, my daughter and husband will definitely be regulars. Thanks Leonardos.

Food was excellent. Mussels were plump and juicy. Cooked to perfection. Sea bass equally delicious. Risotto with Italian sausage - gorgeous as was the starter of meatballs in a tomato sauce. Decor lovely. Toilets immaculate. £9.95 for 2 courses for wonderful food and service.

I went for lunch with a friend on the 2 courses deal menu. Really glad we've got another restaurant choice in my local area that's also bright and with lovely decor. My mussels starter was great and the sea bass was good. I didn't like being asked to move to another table 10 mins after we'd sat down but I'll put that down to teething problems. Family meal for our Daughter's 7th Birthday, great service delicious tasty food, cooked to perfection. My husband had Pate Casalingo-Chicken liver pate for a starter and his main Linguine Langoustine E Gamberoni-Langoustine &King Prawns in a white wine, garlic butter, fresh basil and napoli sauce with a touch of chilli. I had the Signal Limone- Pan fried Sea Bass with fresh lemon King Prawns in a white wine, garlic sauce served with roasted vegetables and potatoes. The children's portions are hugh! (Twins 8, and a 7 year old) well for my three they couldn't finish it all. The rose house wine is very good! We will be back, and highly recommend Leonardo's.

We enjoyed fabulous Italian food wines and beers which was cheerfully and efficiently served. The establishment was very clean, fresh and filled with chatty happy customers. The Sat eve atmosphere was great. Definitely recommend and will return many times as daughter has recently moved into the area.
