Absolutely amazing! From entering the door you just sensed there was something special about the place. The food was incredible, from the complimentary butternut squash soup, the artisan bread and then the courses themselves.
It's up there with the best of the best restaurants we've been to including the Armani and Rhodes Twenty10 in Dubai.
It's a place we will return to time and time again.
Highly recommended

Went there for lunch with a friend in January. Such a hidden gem in Bearsden, it is quite small compared with some other restaurants , but don't let that make you doubt their standards! This is one of the few places in Glasgow that I will remember long after I've eaten there. As their menu is updated frequently, I think the ones I've had may no longer be available, but they definitely have a lot of new dishes worth trying!

My taste buds were desiring a traditional Scottish menu to excite them so I decided to try a restaurant quality haggis.
The haggis was available as a starter however my needs were met with an offer of a larger portion to be eaten as a main meal.
I savoured the Monadh Haggis with creamed potatoes, pickled salt baked turnip and red wine sause which was exquisite in flavor. Not a description I thought I'd ever use for Haggis!! The combination of ingredients were perfectly balanced and I liked the unexpected textures especially the salt baked turnip and creamed potato.
I finished with beautifully refreshing lemon sorbet and creme fresh ice cream..
Massive compliments to the chef!

Love this place. Been coming here for a while now whenever I'm in the area. Consistently great. Staff are so friendly. It was absolutely mobbed tonight (a Tuesday!) yet it all seemed to be running smoothly. Would recommend highly.

Ambiance was casual but elevated, the service was excellent which matched the food! We came for lunch for their prix fixe and had a mackerel confit, a chicken with asparagus risotto and sorbet for dessert. The salty mackerel was well balanced with the milder biscuit and fennel and the freshness of the mackerel was not overpoweringly fishy. The chicken tasted sous vide and was very tender despite being the breast. There was a generous amount of butter and cream in the risotto - it was so smooth! And the crunchy parmesan “cracker” was delicious. I tried so many sorbet flavours and must say the strawberry was definitely my favourite and perhaps the best strawberry sorbet i have ever had (admittedly I do not gravitate towards sorbets so have limited experience)… it tasted like fresh pureed sweetened strawberries! The vanilla ice cream has real vanilla bean (delish!); and if you like eating figs, the fig sorbet tastes exactly like a fresh fig. Highly recommend!

Order - Honeybee bakery bread, Goats cheese/beatroot pre starter.
Haggis, Creamed Potatoes, Pickled Salt Baked Turnip, Red Wine Sauce.
Warm Asparagus, Pea and Watercress Tart, Smoked Egg Yolk Emulsion, Toasted Hazelnuts.
A Sunday roast, the potatoes were on the side and I had to get a portion of the tripple cooked chips.
Time - Service was fast and the meals came out on time. Were served within 1 hour. 5 of us, 4 adults and 1 child.
Presentation - see pics. Everything was presented well, could have done with some gravy on the side with the roast.
Quality - 3/5 - It would have got 4 stars if there wasn't a lot of gristle on the meat which was cooked "pink" but noone else in my party had as much gristle as me lol the quality of all the other dishes was great.
Quantity - 5/5 - Large portions which you want. I was very surprised due to the Michelin bib that gets associated here. I don't know if that's the case now in 2022.
Value for money - Great compared to similar places.

The ambience and food are wonderful. Don't miss the mushroom risotto and the trout tartar! The wine list is very reasonably priced. An overall amazing experience.

We were in restaurant for an anniversary on Friday 2nd December.
The meal was first class and was one of the best meals we have ever had out Atmosphere convivial. Service excellent. Five Star!!!

Starter soup was delicious but everything else a bit disappointing, including the wine (not many choices, not good enough). Atmosphere is great though - low key, soft music, allowing a conversation. Overpriced in my opinion.
