Reviews of Mono
L.
Welcoming & nice staff, lovely atmosphere, food was absolutely amazing and it totally breaks my stereotype of vegan food. However one thing need to mention that this pub is quite popular, so it might take a bit longer to serve your food.
F. B.
Good value vegan cafe serving main meals as well as small plates and starters. The beetroot and 'feta' salad was tasty and a good portion size for £6. Lots of spaced out tables though this did mean it wasn't that cosy. Also my soy milk curdled in my coffee but that's my fault for not choosing oat milk.
J.
I went on a hot, sunny day so outside was packed, but inside was fairly quiet, but cool. I kept it simple with the quarter pounder and a margherita. The burger might not have been the most aesthetic but it was very delicious along with the chips. The pavlova looked great but was a bit overpriced for what you get. The staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all, a very nice place and would come again.
A. B.
Fantastic vegan Mac n cheese I always get the mini version as it’s still a lot of food but I can’t eat adult sized meals my fiancé can and he got the pizza which he enjoyed! He’s had the burger from here before as well. Nice friendly staff. However it does always take a while to get the bill whenever we visit here which can be annoying when you have somewhere to be but apart from that this place is amazing for vegan food and whenever I visit I still come here
G. T.
Stopped in for dinner and drinks on a nice warm evening in Glasgow. Service was friendly and quick and we had a couple of nice tasty dishes and beer. Sat outside in the front and enjoyed the ambience. Would visit again if back in Glasgow one day.
G. F.
We ate lunch outside on a Tuesday - it was relatively busy outside but I can’t comment on inside.
The service was quite quick but the food took about 40 mins to arrive - not ideal when one of us was on a work lunch break.
The Reuben sandwich and to-fish tacos were enjoyed. The Mac cheese was ok - fake cheese shouldn’t be grilled though, see the photo - and the MFC was a good portion size.
For £50, we got 2 sides, 2 mains, a wine and a half pint - for that, I felt slightly underwhelmed. That said, it’s a good option for vegans and veggies - but I don’t personally understand the hype and all the amazing reviews.

All vegan restaurant and bar with a good selection for food and drinks. The staff are friendly and happy to help. The food way FANTASTIC, with a good range of items to chose from on the menu. The kinds are on the pricy side, on par with more city central venues, but not extortionate.
It's an LGBTQIA+/Queer friendly space without being an exclusive queer space. Includes gender neutral toilets.
D. M.
Very easy to park and we really enjoyed our food, we ordered a Wild Mushroom and truffle pizza , Kofte Kebab and the famous Mac and cheese for our 14 month old son and he also loved his food.
* Staff were absolutely great and very welcoming, however they were short staffed and the cafe was very busy. There were only 2 people members of staffs dealing with at least 30 customers, which we felt sorry for them hence why you lost a 🌟.
*The desert was ABIT of let down. They barely had anything available to try but we found something else in the end to order and it was really good.
We would definitely recommend this, as the food and service were great.
E. S.
Amazing vegetarian and vegan food for both sweet and savoury options! Lovely staff too! I’ll definitely be back :)
L. H.
Really lovely interior, welcoming staff who did an excellent job of remembering our orders. The Rueben pizza was delicious and the knickerbocker glory for pudding was heaven! I would definitely come back here/recommend
K. º.
I’ve been away from Glasgow for a few years and was delighted to get along to Mono for some vegan scran last week. Pleased to say it’s still delivering the goods! I couldn’t make my mind up if I wanted the good old mac n cheeze or to try the plant based black pudding, so I asked nicely and the chef whipped me up both in one dish – it was tremendous! Highly recommend. Always great when the kitchen is happy to accommodate your mad requests with some tasty tucker.
L. M.
Great food and service.
Fish tacos and pizza crunch supper are amazing!
A. K.
Great food, friendly staff, chill atmosphere. We had the Mac and cheese and the vanilla cheesecake. Both were delicious. But the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is, that £7 for a very small piece of cake is too much. Besides that, would totally recommend.
J. A.
This is more a review of the record shop (the restaurant is delightful though, loved having the chocolate cake a while back).
Earnest and knowledgeable staff walked the fully stocked isles with dedication. The records are kept and parcelled with great care. My only gripe is they did not have any Japanese Jazz Fusion or CityPop! Make a little extra room in your budget when you go dining at Mono, you'll have a lot of fun there.
S. M.
Great vegetarian food! While I still eat meat, my wife is vegetarian. We had tofu tacos to share for starter, really food. I have meat free burger, was great too! Only fault was bit of a wait for food but I think the kitchen were short of staff that day
L. C.
Nice vegan restaurant. It has a very extensive menu with a varied selection of cold & warm dishes. It's decorated with modern art pieces and has a nice chill laidback atmosphere.
Despite the service being very kind and not pushy, we had to wait to be seated for more than half an hour and for a very long time for our food to come out. It's a bit expensive as well.
Recommended vegan or not, but only if you have plenty of time. 3'5/5
S. C.
Went for a concert. Sold out but still comfortable. Very atmospheric venue. A wide range of beer and cider available on tap. The sound system was excellent really good sound quality.
C. M.
The menu had a good selection. Not massive but a decent variation. Everyone in our party's food was cooked to perfection. It's got a chill atmosphere with friendly staff.
F. R.
A landmark on the vegan map for decades, and always an excellent place to stop by! ❤
K.
Attentive staff who conjure up wonderful food on the table. highly recommended.✨
C. M.
Disappointing service spoilt the visit.
The food was pretty good but it was cold when it arrived at the table. The staff tried to be friendly, but it took an hour from order to table.
If you've got no plans and want to hang out in a very relaxed environment, I'm sure its a great place. Just don't go for food when you're hungry.
We were sat down and watched the table next to us come in, be seated and served and finished their food before ours arrived. There's something wrong with the kitchen management or something...
D. S.
Everything is brilliant!!! I really recommend this place, genuinely think it's underrated and deserves a higher rating! Check it out, you won't be disappointed!
- From the person who fell in love with glasvegan (initially 🤣)
C. B.
Trying out vegan places we found Mono. Really impressed with how cool the place is and how lovely the food, with a varied menu that is free from animal produce. The chestnut mushrooms bruschetta was big and delightful! Also really liked the seitan burger and choc and peanut butter cake. An exciting place for vegans that non vegans would also enjoy!
D. A. G.
I had a really interesting meal here!
The tofu fish and chips was amazing, and I totally recommend it.
The vegan “cheese” cake was really cool: I’d split it between two next time though.
The only issue I had was service: once it got busy it was a bit tricky to get a new drinks order in.
J. L. D.
Not sure if it was an 'off' night but this wasn't as good as I remember. The food took a while to come out, which we get as it's fresh made. Some of our groups food didn't come correctly and it took a while (after we had mostly finished eating) for the remainder to be brought out. Then there was an issue with being able to split the bill.
L. M.
I very much appreciate a vegetarian venue!
The food was good quality and they have some interesting combinations. However the place was nearly empty yet we waited about half an hour for the food which is too long really. I'd probably go back to try it again, though there are lots of great food places in Glasgow I would still want to try out first.
Great for veggies with plenty of time on their hands!
O. L.
A lovely vegan restaurant/cafe. Not too funky but great place still. I have been there for lunch, but have heard of some music events during dinner time
J. P.
Great vegan menu, good choices, both healthy and burgers/ “fish” and chips.
Friendly service, and good beer.
L. L.
First time dining in a vegan Restaurant, and I love it!!
The best dish will be under my opinion the coconut curry, with vegetables & chickpeas.
We also ordered pizza with haggis, mushroom pate, and another dish (I can't recall the name) but this was gnocchis with mushrooms and vegan pork, really nice.
The only cons was the dessert, we ordered the fudge sundae, and I didn't like it much.
But overall it's 100% recommended, nice atmosphere, cute place, often live music and tasty dishes.
Will defo go again
D. T.
Stunning eating experience! Great venue and atmosphere with some of the best food I've ever eaten. I would highly recommend Mono to any vegan or veggie, even those that aren't and are looking for good food to eat in Glasgow
M. S.
Amazing food! 😍 I had the schnitzel with gnocchi which was mind blowingly delicious and vegan! 🌱 This is definitely one of my favourite vegan meals I have had in the last year easily, highly recommend! Lovely staff and heaps of space to spread out.
J. K.
Was in the store looking for some specific vinyl unable to find them but yeah welcoming atmosphere
D. H.
One of the first vegan places in Glasgow, it's also one of the most popular ones - no wonder why.
Great place with a great atmosphere.
100% vegan, friendly staff and toothsome food.
A must.
F. B.
Love love love mono. The food is just delicious. I honestly think it's some of the best vegan food in glasgow. Plus the actual building is nice inside, staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, vegan or not.
M.
Atmosphere was lovely, decor was nice, food menu looked good, nice overtone beer on tap (four candles atm)
D. M.
Lovely modern art interior combined with an old fashioned and natural feel with a laidback atmosphere, this place proves that vegetarian and vegan food can be just as tasty as traditional meat dishes, as we tasted with a great pizza and a schnitzel dish, with garlic bread and tasty chilli chips on the side. Yummy! Fast and friendly service too. We absolutely recommend this place, also for wheelchair users.

The food here is incredible, generous portion sizes and great flavour however the service needs improving. All the servers were friendly but when taking our order we requested starters and then mains. About 15-20 minutes after our order was taken, our mains arrived but we did not have our starters yet so we requested our starter. The server didn't really know what to do and just said 'oh well we have no hot plates to keep your food warm' before eventually saying they will nerd to speak to the manager. The manager then had to check our order as the server had put the starters through as side dishes. Once that had all been sorted we then had to wait a further 15-20 for our starters arrived so we had already been there over an hour before the first course was served. Once we had finished our starters, it was as if we had been forgotten about as it took a further 45 minutes for our mains to arrive so over 2 hours from arriving and we had only just received our mains. Lastly once we had finished our mains, no one came to serve us to check if we wanted desserts of the bill, we waited half an hour and eventually asked the waiter at the bar for the bill. There were only 2 of us dining and we only had 2 courses but the whole process took nearly 3 hours so it just seemed really unorganised which is a shame as the food really was great!
M. F.
Had a lovely family meal here. Staff are so friendly and keen to ensure you are looked after. The food was lovely but I think the menu would benefit from some more choices around rice and fresh salad dishes. Would def go again though as the ambiance was just perfect!
C. R.
💚💚Had the most amazing first time experience at Mono last night with my Mum. Beautiful restaurant with relaxed atmosphere and fab menu, shout out to James for the top quality service and complements to the chef. Definitely will be coming back in the near future 💚💚
A. S.
Visited about a week ago and Absolutely will be again. Food was unreal and as odd as this sounds the chips this place serves are the my most favourite thing I've ever ever had. This place has a great vibe and we loved it. Wish the menu was a little bigger though.
s. M.
Such a great place! Went for dinner before a gig, ordered their fish and chips. Chips were delicious, fish was fine but could have had a bit more flavour ( maybe some more seaweed...) loved looking at the vinyls and cds before dinner arrived.
J. R.
We had the ramen and a pizza. The ramen was okay but not very rememberable. The pizza was much better but also not very unique in terms of flavours. The desserts are great though. Also the interior feels a bit cold and staff is rather distant.
U. M. G.
Haven't tried the food. Only been there for a beer and the environment is pretty cool. Staff are nice. However, it says they do takeaways and they don't.
R. H.
Nice and welcoming, good vegan food. Not-fish tacos and asparagus cesar salad were great, mac and cheese was a real comfort dish. Desert: a great piece of finnish after ski tradition MINTTUKAAKAO with real Minttu Koskenkorva 😋
N. G.
Delicious food but just like The 78, Harmonium, and all the other sister restaurants, it's more towards the junk food end. Heavy and a bit oily. Nevertheless, it's a good occasional treat. Enjoyed it. Plus, kudos for spreading veganism for more than 30 years in Glasgow. This is especially to show the possibilities with vegan food to those who worry what vegans can eat. Yes, the food is completely vegan at Mono but you won't notice.
L. N.
All vegan place with an extensive menu (food, soft drinks and wine too). Good prices. Very cool, hip atmosphere. Service is very nice and not pushy.
T.
This is where I go for healthy feasts when I'm aff the meat. Try the "fish" tacos and the bruschetta - both incredible. Great beer, cool staff, awesome food.
J. L.
Relaxed atmosphere and great food. Will definitely be back.
H. M.
A vegan mecca in Glasgow. Always great food, not just junky (all sandwiches/wraps can be eaten as a salad, which is satisfying and filling nonetheless, and there's a raw chocolate cake on the menu), great artisan beers, homemade sparkling drinks, daily specials and laidback vibes.
L. É.
Good vegan Restaurant.
The quality of the food was great but the portions were pretty small so you better have to get some additional sides or not to be too hungry.
The service was pretty good although the waiter forgot to bring me the bill after I asked for it. I Had to go to the bar. The atmosphere inside is very cool.
E. W.
One of my favourite places to eat of all time, the food is amazing and the staff are always friendly, their pizzas in particular are very addictive! It's also a chilled place to go for a few drinks so definitely ticks all the boxes, wish I lived closer so I could go more often.
S. W.
Great ambiance and super friendly staffs.
But need to be careful when trying to reach this place with Google map.
Loved it and would definitely recommend.
D.
One of my favourite places in Glasgow with hearty vegan food and a nice vibe. Worth a browse of monorail records whilst you're there.
M. N.
The best restaurant in Glasgow! I have been there a few times and it never disappoints me! I will come back soon :)
J. A.
Incredible as always. A bit slow getting my food this time but came at a very busy time. Friendly staff, amazing food, good music, great atmosphere. I'd come here all the time if I lived in Glasgow!
M. G.
Great place for vegan dishes. Nice space for larger groups, especially inside. Good tunes. Good beers. The staff are a bit up in themselves, but if you can ignore the low-key snobbery, it's a great spot.
b.
Love this place! We went as a group of vegans and non vegans and everything was just delicious. Such a great variety of food to try out and the vibe is great! Bonus points for being dog friendly too 🐾
C. B.
Great place to hang out and relax - super friendly staff, lovely music and delicious vegan food. Definitely recommend the tofish and chips with tartar sauce; really tasty! Lots of tempting choices on the menu though; I feel like I could eat here every day for weeks and have something different every time. My favourite vegan spot in Glasgow.
D. S.
Lovely atmosphere and smashing food. The seitan burger was tasty. I can recommend the battered artichoke starter. The portions are very generous, great for hungry people and if you have a canine companion, then they are welcome too. Whe you've eaten your food, why not pop into the attached record store, and search for a album on vinyl or digital. If you like food you'll love Mono...
k.
Half eaten because it was really good. Great choice of vegan food. Super tasty. Great service. 10/10 would go again
R. P.
First time trying the café today and the food was amazing. Friendly staff and lovely setting. Will definitely return again.
H. R.
Came here for lunch. Cool atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. Really enjoyed my souvlaki!
Z. S.
Decided to have a dinner here before our long bus ride back to London. The place is cozy and we only had to wait a bit for a table. The dinner was okay, the seitan burger I had was a bit dry but my friend really liked her dinner. And why only three stars? We had to wait way too much for the dinner to arrive and while in the beginning there were like four waiters/waitresses walking around later on it was nearly impossible to find them and ask them for anything. After getting the bills we just went to the bar to pay there cause we were not really keen on waiting and missing our bus.
T. S.
Fantastic vegan food! My daughter had a great beet and “feta” cheese salad. It was really nice. My son had a huge serving of Mac and cheese, and my husband and I had the arancini balls. Delicious! Even a non vegan would have been happy eating here! I totally recommend Mono
S. C.
Amazing food and amazing atmosphere! Will defo be back here soon.
A. K.
The seitan burger was nice! The vegan cheese didn't really taste like cheese but it isn't bad. Nice vibe too. Good variety of drinks.
c. m.
High quality and all vegan with a very relaxed atmosphere with good portion sizes. Reminds me of going round a friends house because it's so chilled. Would definitely recommend a visit with friends.
L. R.
Relaxed vibe, really great food. I had the burger and my partner had the Mac and cheese. Best vegan food I've had in a long while (and very reasonably priced to boot). Staff were all lovely and space was great.
Would love to come back at some point and try the rest of the menu!
J. K.
Incredible food and very well priced. Highly recommend.
C. C.
Even though I'm not vegetarian/vegan this is a great place to visit for food/drink. There's the added bonus of their record shop Monorail to browse through. It's a gem of a place & definitely worth a wee visit next time you're in town....
B.
This was a lovely bar/restaurant serving exclusively vegan food. I had the mac n cheese with chips and garlic bread and it was all magnificent! The staff were lovely as well and it was a generally good vibe allround. There's even a small record store inside as well!
The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars out of 5 is just because it did take a while for staff to serve us and to collect the bill, even though it wasn't actually busy at all when we visited. Again, the staff were very lovely, but just took a little bit of time.
N. A.
Mono is amazing. The food is great, especially the chips, and a friendly, laid-back atmosphere. A kids menu would make it even better, although they do kids' portions of mac and cheese, etc.
B. Z.
Nice place for a coffee, either outside when sunny (so almost never in this city), or inside where friendly staff will find you a table.
W. A.
Great vegetarian menu and a good live venue for music and bands
e. h.
Great food and excellent service. I had the Buffalo tempeh burrito with chips and a coffee. Food was tasty and a good portion size. Will be going back
T. R.
Great service with friendly staff who were happy to accommodate us, a big group, not long before kitchen closing. We didn't have to wait long for the food, everything was tasty & the portion are very generous. Overall, very much worth visiting, especially if you're vegetarian or vegan!
M. K.
Great place to eat amazing vegan food
G. B.
Best meal we had in Scotland after a ten days trip ! Highly recommend 👌
H. L.
I love eating there, it's a nice vegan place. Only thing is that there's only a few options for soy-free dishes and that's a shame... I think they could offer a substitute or just use oatmilk/pea protein instead of soy milk/tofu? That would be amazing!!
K. D.
This is a great vegan cafe with a really varied menu! Both inside and outside seating, allows dogs too! I absolutely loved it here and enjoyed the best vegan mac and cheese I've ever tasted!
A. R.
What a great place! Staff was so friendly and the tofish and chips was delicious. It also has a record shop and live music so an ideal place for me, we got to see a band doing sound check before their gig and the atmosphere was great. Will definitely come back!
S. W.
First visit and very impressed. Great food, drink, staff and general atmosphere.
Will definitely return.
C. C.
Incredible vegan menu and lovely service in a unique community space. Perfect after visiting Monorail for records.
M. B. C.
Really lovely vegan place. I've been twice and both times I went in with quite the appetite after a long spurt of running errands nearby and it was just what I needed. Delicious food, freshly made, nice chill atmosphere. Only taking a star off because it's usually a bit of a wait for food or for staff to wait on your table but I'd guess they could have just been understaffed when I was in.
J. B.
I'm not a vegan, however this food is delicious (listen up fellow carnivores). The photo is my review of the Cauliflower Tibs, says it all.
G. S.
We had a truly delightful lunch from a really really nice menu. Such nice staff and reasonable prices. Definitely worth trying.
D. T.
Pros:
Friendly staff
Big portions
Good quality food, not a vegan myself, I really appreciated the food though.
Cons:
Long waiting time for our food to arrive though, maybe a coincidence cause the restaurant was busy and our waitress apologized for the delay.
Also, one of our friends ordered a Bloody Mary, he waited for it for 25 minutes and had to cancel it in the end as we had to leave.
Overall, a good experience, vfm, room for improvement when it comes to service times.
S. C.
We were in town for a gig and went to Mono as we’d been before and enjoyed it. We had the Reuben sandwich and To-fish both were delicious and huge! So good we returned the next night!
A. V.
Fantastic place. Food is super tasty, great options and portions. Drinks menu is really good, staff very friendly.
Don't take this review's words for it, just go and have a good time.
B.
The Mac and cheese is one of the best vegan Mac and cheese dishes in Glasgow. Worth a visit!
K. R.
Food and drinks here are always excellent however waiting staff aren't so great, have been sitting here for 25 minutes with empty plates in front of me, empty drinks glasses and am still waiting on someone to appear. Was thinking about ordering dessert 10 minutes ago but now not sure if I want to wait any longer. Dissapointed considering how great everything else about this place is
A. D.
Warm and friendly service and delicious food ; I opted for the tofish and chips with a side of fennel sausage. Because I could.
M. L.
What an amazing place!!!
First time I ate a vegan pizza with truffle and I’m in heaven! You should definitely try it!
G. H.
I didn't eat in the restaurant, so I can only comment on the record shop. This is geared at the more alternative end of Rock/Pop, Electronica and Jazz. A great selection of new and used, with many smaller labels represented. Helpful and knowledgeable staff.
K. G.
Friendly helpful staff, wide range of vegan food.
A. D.
Vegan cuisine in a place with a unique and quirky atmosphere. We had the crispy pizza (deep fried in batter), fish and chips and burger and chips. All were relatively tasty, even the vegan coffee was good. All in all a good experience.
B. B.
Casual music laid-back 'cafe lounge' atmosphere. Friendly staff. Drinks very expensive though! Live music here but I've never been personally.
I'm not a vegan so probably wouldn't choose to eat here but I've heard good things.
E. M. G.
Very nice both people and food! Very recommended
H. G.
Staff were nice , however , food took about 40 minutes to arrive and when it did , an order was forgotten. Manager, made up for it though with a free meal and 25% off of the bill. The food was good quality and nice though.
J. M.
Delicious food, Tofu sandwich, mac and cheese and fish and chips I highly recommend all of them. Nice and Relaxed atmosphere
K. P.
Amazing place for all vegans and vegetarians and those who love plant based dishes or would like to try some. My absolute favourite of all time is the To-Fish n' Chips. Staff are always very friendly and helpful with the menu and drinks selection. In can definitely recommend Mono to everybody!
M. B.
My daughter loves this place, along with Stereo on the other aide of town these are her two favourite restaurants.
Pizza is great with fabulous thin base and the ice cream is good
From an adult, non-vegan perspective I really like the effort put into the flavours and textures. Try the seitan burger, it's great.
M. V. D.
Vegan food was top notch. Can recommend the celeriac schnitzel and the fish and chips -- tartare sauce was awesome. Puddings were great and any meat eater wouldn't believe they didn't contain animal produce. Looks like they do regular live music which is par for bars and restaurants in this area of Glasgow anyway. Unisex toilets a plus. Service friendly enough but they were understaffed when we ate. Beer and wine selection the only let down.
E. L.
Fab vegan place we had 3 starters and 3 mains everyone was lovely!. Particularly the coconut curry. I loved that they had chippy vinegar and the tomato sauce was lovely. Staff were good no problems with service. They did have few things out of stock which wasnt to much of a problem. I would go back soon.
M. A.
The food was fantastic! Alot of range of classic dishes and friendly staff too
A. A.
Best vegan food I have ever had. The menu has a great selection of international influences ranging from Mediterranean to burgers, pizzas, wraps and salads. Great flavors. Would definitely go there again next time I'm in town. Highly recommended.
G. S.
Really enjoyed my time here, the food was great and has some amazing vegan choices.
A. B.
On a flying visit to Glasgow I needed a relaxed place to spend some time waiting for my flight, and Mono was perfect. The staff were really friendly, the food was tasty and innovative, and the homemade drinks were lovely too. In terms of menu items, the To'fish and Chips was marvellous and the mushy peas were a triumph - to anyone who thinks vegan food can't impress, Mono will prove you wrong.
C. I.
This is a good vegetarian restaurant but it is somewhat overpriced for what you get. Yes, it is tasty and yes sometimes in Glasgow you need a hit of 'super health' but ten pound vegetarian main meals are a bit steep, especially considering how cheap the core ingredients were.
K.
Great vegan place
A. A.
First time here and I am a meat eater but the macaroni cheese was first class will return. Its a bit laid back I like swift service
I. D.
The food was nice but not super special. My main issue was the service, nobody there walks around with any sense of urgency at all. It’s nice to feel relaxed but the pace of everything was so slow it was almost frustrating. We ordered pizzas and a side each and it took 50 minutes. How can pizza take that long? It also wasn’t even busy. Also when it was ready the food was brought over really slowly one item at a time. I’ve been to mono before and had forgotten how slow the service was, unfortunately I won’t be going again. Staff were friendly enough but I just can’t deal with how slow it is. ☹️
I visited on the 6th of June at around 3:30/4.
J. H.
Mono is a really interesting space with some cool food and drinks on offer. The café/bar space leads on to a great record shop and the prices aren't too high. There's lots of space and seating so groups are no problem. It's great to see all vegan food being done creatively and deliciously, I really enjoyed my "To-fish and chips" tofu and the vegan pizza was also tasty.
Our one negative was that all the food was very greasy and left us feeling pretty queasy, the kitchen could do with toning down the deep frying/oil.
If you're looking for a casual space to eat and drink with a group Mono is great.

I'm not vegan myself but like to make an effort to try and eat a broader variety. Food portions far more generous than I expected, reasonable price and was really tasty. Great beer, great atmosphere and great music.
A. N.
Delicious and fresh foods with a very relaxing atmosphere. It's not particularly cheap but most vegan places aren't. Last time I was there I had a sourdough pizza and it was fantastic.
M. G.
They have an awesome selection of vegetarian and vegan options - vegan pizza (delicious), sandwiches, burritos, seitan burgers, hot dog, etc. I've had most items on the menu and love them all. AND the ICE CREAM, oh the ice cream. It is absolute heaven. Best vegan ice cream around. They have live music, allow dogs and have a big dining area so you can come with a big group or if you come earlier in the day, it seems like a good place to bring your computer and work. They have plenty of beer, wine and alcohol. If I could eat here every week, I would.
a.
Seitan burger is excellent, and I was really craving meat when I ate it so well done there. My brother had the To-fish and chips which looked pretty good as well. Really nice space as well, very arty and bohemian
M. C.
Nice place to eat. All food is vegan. Resonably priced, good options for drinks and sometimes even a live band. I always go here to have vegan cake. The only have one option each time but it is usually very good.
A. S.
Seitan burger was excellent I will definitely be back
A. G.
I absolutely love this restaurant in Glasgow, the food is out of this world. You won't believe the deserts are vegan they are so creamy and beautifully presented. The portions are generous and they even have their own ginger beer which is a must try. The space is open and comfortable and the staff are attentive and friendly and very open to accommodating dietary restrictions and adapting dishes to suit. I wish they would open a place like this in Edinburgh, it's worth a trip to Glasgow just for such hearty meat-free fare.
S. G.
Fantastic wee venue with a great atmosphere! Gr3at place for an intimate gig. Will be back to try the vegan food for sure!
P. M.
The mono is one of the few places with an all vegan menu. Despite this limitation its doing pretty well: it offers a wide array of food and drinks, has live music and being in a reasonably central place its also easy to reach and has a lot of parking space just a minute of walk away. Staff is friendly and nice.
J. M.
Outstanding, just like its sister establishment, Stereo. Conclusive proof that vegan does not have to mean dull - the flavours here zing! Also just a great place to hang out generally, with its well-stocked bar and delicious home-brewed drinks. Brilliant.
L. W.
Great vegan bar serving delicious food!
J. H.
Fantastic service and amazing food! Came with gf, she had mac n cheese and I had the seitan burger with all the trimmings. We ended with a hot fudge sundae (each!). Everything was delicious. Would also recommend the microbrewed lemonade!
K. M.
A great wee restaurant with friendly staff. The menu is very well labeled with which allergens are present. They have a unique menu with great quality, I'm yet to find a dish I dislike after three or four visits, I get phyched up about trying the pizza especially. This time I tried the fennel sausage and enjoyed the nice bance of sweet, savory, and spice really surprised me. I very much reccomend Mono!
D. K.
pizza crunch, I know it's bad but this was so good
E. W.
Beautiful vegan restaurant. Rainbow salad as a starter is huge and brilliant value for money. Recommend using that as a main. The sausage supper was lovely but a little spiceless but that's was fine and still tasted lovely.
R. D.
Mono and its other central vegan pub restaurants is great for something different. The food is always good, the beers some recognisable and others a little obscure but part of the appeal.
Music is always back ground ambient rather than in your face. A friendly environment linked to a record store and with live music aplenty really very little to dislike unless you eat nothing but red meat.
S. H.
Varied vegan menu and great selection of beers. Staff are friendly in an aloof, bored with the world, hipsterish kind of way 😊 Decor is low-fi, toilets don't state gender incase you don't have one, place smells like a mixture of strong paint and forest floor. Very quirky with excellent food - I visit each time I'm in Glasgow 😍
m. d.
Delicious vegan food, friendly service, range of menu options. We loved the mac n cheese and rice salad.
P. A.
Wonderful vegan gem! Lovely food, big portions so be prepared. Good price/quality/quantity. Friendly staff!
YogiTea's available...what a treat!
Loved it!
M. B.
Good portion sizes and staff are friendly. Burger and chips was decent, but wished I'd got one of the pizzas, they looked ace. A friend of mine also recommends the ToFish. Good value for money.
L. M. D.
My daughter and I had a really good food experience at Mono (this was our first time), we both had the soup and sandwich , the bloody Mary soup was refreshing and tangy and the Falafel wrap was to die for, all fresh and fantastically healthy ingredients. We will definitely return to try out more of the menu, the only downside was its difficult to get a table if you just turn up, its better to book in advance I think :).
A. F.
Both doors open on a cold wet day so it was rather cool. Service was indifferent and food very slow to arrive. Four mains ordered, two of which, tapenade salad and schnitzel, were delicious. When they arrived, it was clear that the other two - macaroni and cheese- had been ready several minutes before. Sauce offered for chips, mayonnaise ordered - it did not arrive for another 10 minutes. Apparently it has to 'go through the kitchen' whatever that means. The overcooked chips were long since cold. Then discovered a 30p charge for the mayo!!! Not cheap, some positives but could do a lot better with only a little effort.
I. C.
Lovely restaurant with a general great atmosphere. The food was beyond delicious. Highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a high quality affordable meal, whether or not they are vegan.
K. B.
LOVE the food here. Best vegan comfort food ive had. Nice wee record shop attatched. Chill atmosphere. Good service. I recommend the sausage and leek pizza and the battered artichoke 👌 also the best sandwich I've ever had but can't remember the name of it. YES MONO
F. C.
We came in on a Saturday afternoon to get some food. Directly next to a vintage store it definitely gives you a hipster feeling if you're into that. Waiter was very friendly. I had the jackfruit burrito, which was okay but definitely not the best burrito I ever had.
F. W.
Very commendable vegan restaurant. The menu's design and content are excellent. The originality of the dishes is refreshing. The toilets are dire though. The staff are friendly but a tad disorganised.
M. C.
Often exclusively vegetarian restaurants can come with an air of superiority, this is not the case with mono. Wonderfully friendly staff and a really exciting vegetarian menu. Also great for a quick drink with a lovely outdoor space just off one of the main shopping streets. The other fantastic aspect of Mono is that it is also a record shop which plays host to the ever growing Record Store Day. Great to satisfy all of your vinyl needs.
B. O.
First time coming here with my girlfriend all the way from Amsterdam to try my first pizza crunch! It was great 😁
A. M.
It's an up market vegan restaurant that you wouldn't mind taking your very conservative parents to.
The food is very reasonably priced, and staff are nice (I did not experience the grump)
The decor is quite out dated. It feels a little like sitting in a pier cafe of some costal british town. The arches and brick work are all silenced by white paint.
The food was good, but not better than I've made at home. and by at home I mean, purchasing M&S plant kitchen burgers and finding them much more full of flavour and satisfaction. However, despite the burger being a little boring, the cajun chips and coleslaw were good.
It's a lively place, clearly well loved. And I understand how rare it is to have something like this. I only hope then that it continues to grow.
G. M.
The sausage supper was the best I've had! Great table service and the surroundings were nice and airy. I did not feel as if I was boxed in when seated. I will be visiting again.
C. L.
Lovely people and tasty vegan/vegetarian dinner food. There's a bar - if you fancy a tipple.
Absolute gem of a music/film store. Niche and popular artists in-stock in a variety of formats.
S. B.
Food absolutely beautiful. I'm a veggie but have been blown away by the vegan food here, it's easy to forget that it's vegan. Love the menu, can't wait to eat here again.
L. N.
Mono kicks ass. Seriously. It was so good we opted to eat there multiple times rather than find new places. I think we ate through most of the menu before we had to move on to other parts while on holiday in Scotland. We highly recommend Mono to anyone...vegan or otherwise. The Tofish n chips were amazing. We tried to recreate once we got home but we could couldn't quite capture the deliciousness. Love love LOVE Mono and will definitely dine there again during our next trip to Scotland.
T. N.
Took my niece and her husband here on Saturday and introduced them to the Mono experience ! They loved it and he was especially shocked at how tasty the seitan burger was . I really like this place especially for the friendliness of the professional staff. A great accompaniment enroute to the fantastic Waterboys concert at the Barraland....
P.s. Never take the artichoke fritters off the menu !!!! 💋
L. E.
We loved the vegetarian selection and the taste of the food. It was really good. To food came in fast.
After we finished our main we got the option if we wanted dessert, so the waiter brought us the menu again.
Unfortunatly after 30 min of waiting for our orders to be taken again we decided to leave. Nobody saw that we would like to order and they ignored us completly. What started as a great evening turned into a disapointment.
B. J.
As a dedicated meat eater, i have to say the food was absolutely outstanding!
The whole place had a great atmosphere, with a good selection of beers too! I will definitely be back!
A. L.
There for a gig. It's a good venue for music. Long queue for the bar but.
E. R.
Fantastic vegan menu with broad range of options, special of fennel sausage and roasted tomato, olive, caper and red wine/sage ragu with spaghetti was sublime. Sangiovese was delightfully smooth and served at perfect temperature. Saw some great looking pizzas hoovered up by couple on next table. Staff super polite and helpful. Might go back tomorrow with my mum. Mega.
K. B.
Absolutely love the family friendly atmosphere. Can be a bit of a wait for a table unless you book first but their All Vegan menu is great especially since i have strict dietary requirements for religious reasons.
A. G.
Lots of innovative and tasty vegan food on offer 😀. Particular favourite of mine is the seitan burger which comes with a really yummy sauce, coleslaw and handout chips. Great sized space and loads of gigs on in the evenings.
L. I.
Had the jackfruit burrito and it was amazing! Also tried the mango and lychee green tea lemonade which was very refreshing.
Establishment is much bigger on the inside and has a very warm feel. Waiting staff are very welcoming and friendly.
Would definitely come back!
J. H.
Brilliant place with a lovely atmosphere. One of my favourite cafes to hang out for several hours and get some work done. Staff never try to rush you out the door just because you aren't ordering everything!
The food is pretty awesome too!
W.
Tasty food. Friendly staff. I am a regular here. Can be unpleasant when the 'new age' hopeless parents allow their kids scream and run about. Staff should ask them to exert a tad more control. Lots of kids do not create this bedlam.
Down a star. Somedays its as if the staff have perfected the act of ignoring you. As like today. Goes beyond being relaxed.
I. G.
I like the place and I go there quite often. The only problem is that the service and food quality is not consistent. Sometimes the food is great and the service fast and efficient, and others the food is so and so and you might wait for half an hour to get served. Nevertheless I'll continue going because it's a nice vegan place in a convenient location and the prices are very reasonable.
R. T.
Really great Vegan cuisine and nice beer selection. Nice location
A. F.
Although the food was served quickly after ordering, at times we felt ignored by the waiting staff. The Tom Kha was okay but I received noodles after asking for rice. The Raw Chocolate & Avocado Cheesecake was delicious.
S. H.
Amazing. Vegan menu, food is very good. Works for big groups or small, and they have Fraøch in the fridge. It's not the warmest place in winter (I assume due to the striking giant glass globe in the ceiling) so have a warm jumper on! Oh and there's a record store to peruse too.
S. M.
Staff weren't the best, the girl that served us looked rather bored. I know it's work for her but she could have been definitely nicer. The guy that ran the fun was top lad. Food was nice too, good spicy spinach soup and garlic bread.
A. B.
Mono is one of my favorite food places in town, really good quality and actually creative vegan food. I had a seitan burger last time I was there and my bf had a tofu banh mi which was new on the menu and really delicious!
H.
Mono is a cool cafe bar in the heart of merchant city. Vegan food but don't let that out the carnivores off, you wouldn't know the difference. The seitan burger is to die for and the chippy fare, like the to-fish and chips, battered sausage and pizza crunch are ridiculousluly good. Go and enjoy it.
T. B.
Whenever we're in Glasgow we go here - it's incredible what they can do with vegan food, including pizzas and... tuna melts?! The integrated record shop and venue is cool too.
S. C.
One of the old guard of Glasgow's vegan eateries and is still one of the best. Music, record shop, food and bar. Very well made and innovative food all obviously freshly prepared and cooked. The tofish and chips seemed to be selling fast :). A visit to Glasgow without a visit here is unthinkable ;)
W. M.
My 4th visit on an occasional work trip to Glasgow. Only place I go. It is sooo good. Brilliant creative vegan food, fab space, friendly staff. I will always go back.
A. R.
Absolutely love this place, always great food.
Really nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly and attentive.
Every time I'm in Glasgow I always go here.
Can't rate it highly enough 😁
S.
Really, great food. Atmosphere cool.and staff friendly as.
Defo worth a bash.
T. H.
Great vegan place. Food was nice although I didn't try everything my friend ordered. Staff were friendly, polite and served quickly.
W. B.
Nice restaurant but unfortunately during dinner there was a sound check going on so round it incredibly hard to have a conversation.
Food was ok, seitan lacked flavour and slightly burnt on burger.
C. M.
Love it not vegan but my son is so we go too... delish every time. Soups are lush Seitan burger to die for and the ice cream amazing never fails.. no posh just fun place x
B. S.
For any Germans in Glasgow, they have Augustiner Helles here!
z. y.
The food is nice. But the waitress was very rude. She nah with eye-rolling while taken our order, and thrown the knifes and fork to us when preparing the table.
M. C.
The chargrilled burger was excellent - so often vegan food over promises but under delivers. Nice ambience and polite and attentive waiting staff. Great place.
J. S.
My husband and I ate here last weekend- when we entered about 7pmish we were greeted by a bored-looking hostess; one of those “too cool” hipsters. Anyway we were soon seated but seemed to wait forever for a server to arrive. Finally a friendly gentleman did after having to wave over his colleague to ask for someone. I got the gado gado salad and my husband the dolmades. My dish took a while to come but it was lovely: a heaping, yummy bowl of aub, roasted and spiced chickpeas, green, rice noodles and pumpkin seeds. Very satisfying. I really loved the sauce with my husband’s dolmades as well. Again, took a while to get a bill as we had to ask several times. And it wasn’t even that crowded! When we left a little over an hour later we saw the kitchen had closed. Very odd for a Saturday night.
A. G.
Great vegan food. Would go again next time I'm in Glasgow.
L. P.
Great casual vegetarian restaurant. Service was very accommodating. Enjoyed the tofu stir-fry, Thai veg curry, and local beer.
N. B.
Great option for Vegans!.. Delicious food. Excellent hang out place with friends.. Nice Service... I just loved the Chocolate and avocado cheesecake..
J. L.
Smashing restaurant, such tasty veggie and vegan food.
Even my non vegan husband enjoyed his food and we will definitely be back soon to try more of the menu.
It can be quite busy after 18:00 so worth booking a table since there are only ~15 tables available.
M. M.
The word nostalgia comes to mind what a little gem this is in the heart of the city you can get vinyl and beer am i dreaming as Blondie said but that was 40 year ago this is well worth a visit and you to can get on the milk an alcohol
J. R.
Curry was amazing Tbe burger was an enquired taste the ginger pudding was spot on. The service needs a bit of attention not bad it just wasn't great. Will definitely be back
D. M.
This is a brilliant bar/cafe and I'm a regular visiter. I have always had excellent service from the staff, who are super friendly and still very chilled and I have sampled almost all of the menu by this point.I have now brought basically my whole social circle to this joint and they are all now firm fans too. I really love their beetroot and walnut dip, which is absolutely divine and their bean and guac burrito is delicious and authentic. Also fab for burgers and cakes- their cheesecake rocked my world ! There are tons of cuisines under one roof- from thai to mexican to greek, but the chefs seem to know their stuff because I'm yet to be disappointed! The decor suits the relaxed crowd as there is plenty of natural light and local art adorning the walls. Overall- a lovely lunch, for a decent price.
R. M.
Mono has always and continues to be my favourite vegan place in Glasgow. Even before I went vegan the food they served was eye opening with how good you could make it without any animal bits
J. R.
What a spot! Veggies and vegans come and check out this place. Very friendly staff, great atmosphere wonderful 'real' food in portions of a size that will put a big smile on your face. Quite a find.
A. G.
I had some tea, kotlet schabowy and mac and cheese and all was great. The portions were big and the food was tasty and seasoned well. Kotlet schabowy didn't taste at all like kotlet schabowy but was still very good. The staff was very friendly and would go again😄
J. C.
Food was great. And it's nice to see a menu where I can eat anything and don't need to ask the staff any questions. The food did take ages to arrive though. Not sure if that's normal but would recommend if you're pressed for time.
S. W.
Service was a little slow initially but it was very busy and they arranged a table quickly for my friends and I. Food was tasty. Great vegan venue.
L. A.
Just tried the Sunday roast. Big plate, really rich red wine sauce, yummy seitan roast and sides. Would have been fi e but Yorkshire pud needed a minute more. Matti had usual kids mac and cheese - declared it is his favorite meal on the planet.
R. P.
Great venue for music and good selection of drinks. Will yry food next visit
N. S.
Staff friendly but not efficient.😕 Interesting place. Unfortunately food was bland, portion sizes were small and presentation left alot to be desired. For a drink I would go back but food disappointing and pricey.
D. N. A.
Cracking wee cafe and record store.
This is a great place to spend and afternoon. Veggie / Vegan place with great food and atmosphere. It can get pretty busy at the weekend but mid-week (and before a gig) it's excellent.
I. T.
Not Vegan, but still really enjoy the food served in mono. Very relaxing atmosphere and and staff are always very friendly. Would advise to definitely give it a try
T. F.
The WORST service I have ever had... but I've been back a few times... their food is their saving grace so kudos to the chefs. If only whoever runs it would realise that service is key and improve it or get rid of the staff and hire people who enjoy working with the public.
The food is delicious!
C. W.
Informal cafe style food. Standard vegan food. Good portion sizes and affordable. Situated in a old merchant city. I can imagine it'd be great during gig.
S. B.
Great venue with friendly staff and good choice at bar though, bizarrely sold out of white wine when I was there.
C. F.
Great food, a varied menu, huge portions and friendly staff. A Glasgow vegan institution!
N. M.
Tastiest pizza sauce I've ever had, quick service, really cool, chilled out place, amazing vegan options and good dessert menu. Love it!
T.
Food is unbelievably so tasty!
R. A.
Host was unfriendly, given a table in the back, Slow service, the host did not speak a single word upon assigning a table, extremely slow service. attendance level is 1 out of 10. The place is trendy that doesn’t mean bad service is a must.
P. S.
Great place to go and relax. Brilliant food and great selection of drinks. The home brewed soft drinks are fantastic.
As an added bonus, Mono is dog friendly too.
F. S.
So great to be back. Food and service was amazing, staff allowed us to get on with our lunch without constantly being over at the table.
L. G.
Many vegan options and the food was great. They also have a number of soda options to try. Great stop off the sightseeing bus to grab lunch as well.
A. A. G.
Awesome food !! An all vegan menu with delicious variety!! Also friendly and kind staff! The decour is also pretty cool 😁👌👏
H. V.
I really like this place. Good vibes, great food and friendly staff.. what else can you ask! Vegan paradise.
A.
Favourite vegan food so far in Glasgow. Had the to-fish and chips. Tasted like real battered fish and chips, real comfort food. Highly recommend 😊
K. C.
tasty food and a nice atmosphere, all the staff are lovely. service can get a little higgledy figgledy (vegan replacement joke) but that's just part of its charm
L. I.
Lovely vegan food. Loads of options. Very reasonable. Only complaint is the building is a bit chilly so wear a jumper!
W. e.
Excellent vegan food, very well priced, much better variety than you usually get elsewhere. Also, has a record shop and live music regularly!
G. C.
We come here whenever we are in Glasgow, which is only a couple of times a year.
Love this place. Food is great, good selection of beers. And the building is quite charming
D. W.
Very good veggie options, nice location/venue and great staff. Really worth a visit.
I. Y.
A great place! Really nice food and such kind staff.
c. c.
Been looking for a good vegan place and this place is just fab, great staff, great atmosphere, amazing food x
A. D.
Lovely vegan menu and very friendly staff. Funky clientele and laid-back atmosphere. Located in a lively and fun neighborhood.
S. R.
That mac! The mac was incredibly delicious and everyone (staff and guests) seemed really friendly.
L. A. A. K.
Amazing and tasty food, nice staff, I highly recommend it
A. H.
Really nice food, we ordered the toufish and chips and the portobello burger. The former was better than the latter, but nice buns. The staff was friendly but the local was not that cozy.
A. N.
Very good food in a nice place! We enjoyed the béer, the curry mee and the pasta, special of the day. Would definitely recommend!
c.
Very casual place with great food and friendly (albeit slow) service. Good value for money. Will definitely be back- the jackfruit sandwich is delicious!
C. S.
Good food and dog friendly, if a little on the pricier side
L. C.
Tasty seitan burger served with chips and salad. I'd like to try everything on the menu! Had a bottle of IPA too, vegan, of course.
M. C.
Great vegan food, drink, and experience! The pizza is amazing and the macaroni with an additional side of cajun fries is to die for!
J. O.
Chilled atmosphere, constantly updated menu. Great staff ! Amazing vegan scran..What's not to love !
Y. B.
Couldn't expect that. The cubano and the soup was one of the best dishes I had for a lot of time. Truly amazing flavours. Would definitely recommend.
B. M.
Really nice food and great service, the decor is quite hipster and fitting for a young crowd. Only possible improvement would be the toilets, a bit dirty and not very well maintained, otherwise a great place!
S. W.
Awesome food and atmosphere. This is one of the quirky treasures of the city – you can have something to eat and relax and then go to the record store, which is in the same building. Bliss.
N. V.
Second time here, food is super tasty, staff is friendly. I'd moan just a little about the artichokes portion that was literally 4 pieces. Apart that, recommended!
E. G. V.
This is the perfect place to come with your children. Very relaxed atmosphere and tasty veggie food. Events organised are also fantastic. I definitely recommend it!
W. B.
Quick lunch. Popped in for soup of the day served with sourdough bread. Food was lovely and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Would recommend 😊
D. D.
The microbrewed drinks are fantastic, couldn't pick just one favourite. Nice atmosphere while food looked well presented - will need to return to try!
D. B.
I love the food and drinks here! (It may be because they have a whole menu that's dairy free) but still lovely food and drink every time
A. K.
My favourite all-vegan restaurant in Glasgow so far, they have great pizzas and seitan burgers and a cool atmosphere.
E. M.
Always one of the best options for a vegan meal in Glasgow. Very children and dog friendly, it is ideal for families.
D. P.
Nice atmosphere, nice beer, nice burger. Not a vegan but I could happily eat here more often 😎
n.
Not vegan but visited with a friend who is. 4 cheese pizza was amazing and the mac and cheese and chips were fantastic!
M. B.
Woohoo, at last we have found a place that my vegetarian daughter order whatever she likes! All that we tried was delicious. Can't wait to return.
R. M.
big car park opposite, food was decent and decently priced, chips were ace, had setan burger, son had hotdog, wife had fish nd chips, daughter had mac nd cheese.. vegan fish was not great but rest tested great :)
C. L.
Great example of how good vegan food can be! Very reasonable price and great atmosphere! Had courgette soup and Banh Mi sandwich, recommended!
D. S.
Great evening with some interesting company attending Bobby Gillespie.
B. D. L.
This place is lovely! Top decor & the food was epic (eat the seitan burger... seriously, do it now)! Would defo go back 👌
A. B.
Went to Bodega gig here. No gluten free beer.
C. A.
Fantastic good. Best vegan meals I've had. Very relaxed atmosphere.
E.
Really lovely food, staff, and atmosphere. There's almost too much choice! Just means we'll have to go back and try everything
J. M.
Cool place. I was not amazed but I have nothing bad to say about it either. The staff was very nice and the burger was ok.
F. D.
Laid back place. Great food with benefits of music shop as well. Needs some thought with tidying up decor but would really recommend for vegetarians and non-veggies.
R. H.
Tastiest seitan burger I've had, and finally an outstanding vegan ice cream sundae!! A rare treat.
I. M.
Delicious all vegan food. Excellent service. Good with food allergies. Nice chilled atmosphere.
M.
Lovely food, nice venue. Staff were a bit nonchalant and service was slow for a midweek lunchtime service. Would go back to sample other dishes.
L. T.
Great friendly service. Lovely food and generous portions. Couldn't finish it all! Definitely recommend.
J. R.
Good variety of vegan noms, not all of which overtly vegan, so bring your carnivorous heathen pals and surprise them. If nothing else, they won't be short of booze options 👍
P. J. D.
Great place to eat well made vegan fare.
M. B.
Pretty cool bar. Very unique atmosphere. Kind of a hipster vibe. Good drinks choices. Good lighting, too (it's the little things!).
K. W.
Fab all vegan menu - lots of choice. Chilled atmosphere, good for a casual cheap tasty lunch.
j. n.
Decent pub, decent selection of drinks, lots of vegan food options, doesn't look like it's been decorated in years and has clean but hipster graffiti strewn toilets.
G. M.
Great beer selection and friendly staff
E. W.
The food was delicious, particularly the artichoke starter! The staff and their service were very good and there was a nice atmosphere.
S. M.
Our first day in Glasgow: so happy to have found this place. Great food and beer, bustling crowd of locals, and the staff were lovely too.
6. 6.
Amazing vegan menu, extremely tasty food and well poured pints. Top marks all around.
G. M.
Really cool, I'm here to see the legendary 'soft machine' tonight. The food is tasty vegan and they sell Furstenberg beer
E. W. L.
The food was fab and service excellent. Looking forward to going back again.
A. T.
Fully Vegan menu which does classical vegan dishes as well as vegan versions of traditional meals. Great selection of drinks too

The food is amazing. Friendly staff and very good service. Relaxed casual atmosphere.
C. S. (.
Words cannot describe how much i love the food here, well i guess they can, amazing! Mac n Cheese to die for. Pizza to die for.
D. D.
Very basic vegetarian food. Not too bad, but not amazing either. Wouldn't go back. Limited choices
D. P.
Took awhile for 2 coffees, fryer busted.... Also for anyone that didn't know it's a vegan cafe
E. R.
The strawberry cheesecake was divine! Overall great food and great vibes
K. H.
Food was quite good, obviously great for vegans and vegetarians, though service could've been a bit better.
M. F.
Good vegan food, with reasonable prices and lots on offer for beverages including a range of local beers.
B. C.
I love it here. Good food, great selection of drinks, good coffee, record shop, good event nights. What more could you want?
J. D.
Wonderful place. The food is incredible. 100% the best vegan restaurant in Glasgow.
N. A.
Great service, chilled vibe, amazing food that you would never guess had no dairy in it! The ice cream sundae was to die for!
P. M.
Great spot, awesome vegan menu, friendly staff.
n. p.
Great for the vegan and anyone with an open or progressive mind regarding diet...reasonable prices. I enjoyed the green tea lemonade.
A. S.
I'm not vegan but I really enjoyed the food. Table service wasn't 5 star but it was good enough.
T. A.
Wonderful food and service!
Large meals, superb food!
Wish I lived close to Mono to spend my time there.
E. W.
Lovely food and atmosphere, not too busy, and with really nice staff. Recommend always!
J. D.
Pleasant venue with a Bohemian feel. The veggie food was honest but average. Very decent prices though.
D. N.
Lovely alternative vegan location in Glasgow. Really enjoyed my bahmi sandwich and the home brewed lemonade.
F. H. v. Z.
Really enjoyed the food here. Had the burrito and chocolate cheesecake (although it was more like a brownie, it was delicious)
S. S.
Fantastic looking place, friendly staff and the food is one of the best I've ever had! Absolutely brilliant!
M. K.
Not bad vegan fare. Reasonable range on the menu. Service can sometimes be slow.
M. K.

Service could be a bit faster. I didn't find the portions small, so you definitely can leave without feeling hungry.

Just the right size for a gig. Great to be able to see the Band AND have a seat at the same time. Drinks very expensive though.
