We stopped here for lunch as we were passing and it looked interesting. We are so glad we did! This is quirky little place is a diamond! The decor is fantastic, the atmosphere is so comfortable, the staff are accommodating and friendly and I can't even begin to describe how exceptional the food was *chefs kiss* we will definitely be back!

Visit as part of a group. Waitperson was attentive and helpful. Food was delicious and good portions. Only slight problem was it was freezing. I had to keep my jacket on which isn’t very comfortable to eat. We skipped dessert as too cold 🥶

Go there regularly with Glasgow Steampunks. The staff are friendly and fun. They have a good range of rums and the food is excellent. They have entertainment some nights. I always feel welcome when I'm there.

Glasgow's steampunk Society regular go her. We all love it here because the staff are friendly. The drinks are reasonable, and music and entertainment are out of this world. Food and drink Drink in this bar is a reasonable enough price, and there's plenty of variety of spirits other booze and some unusual stuff. There is a lot of exciting food on the menu if you're looking for something different and tasty. They can also organise buffets or share Platters for big groups we've had a couple, and I always love them. I recommend here The other great thing about this bar especially being in a wheelchair is drinks, to the table, all you need to do is get the attention of the bar staff, and they will come to your table and take your drinks order, and you can pay by card as well at the table. Accessibility there is no problem getting your wheelchair in here the only time it can be tricky is when it's busy because it's a tiny place, but the staff are always accommodating and will clear you a path. They have a perfectly acceptable disabled bathroom which is quite good to see such an in a small place. We were here on the 14th of December for Glasgow steampunk Society Christmas after-party. We had entertained with karaoke and a singer called Cameron McKenna he made the night he had us all singing and dancing and having a laugh. I can't wait to go back and see him again. There's only one downside to this bar it has stylish tables in the cosy piece of the bar that are stupid shapes and every time I put a drink on them it ends up all over me or over someone else.

Nice environment and food was good just a couple of issues and that was tables were close to each other and with it being small premises it became very noisy I was also disappointed with the plate or chopping board like plate with paper it became a point I was eating paper with my food, that was probably my biggest regret going.. staff were very nice and friendly.

One point deducted for the lack of soul music played by dj. Wham is not soul/funk or disco. YMCA is just cheese. He didn't play any requested tunes and didn't even know some of them. Apart from this a fun friendly, not too expensive bar.

Pretty decent food. A little dark, but the music is nice. Both times I went it was a little quiet, but the staff were fantastic and very friendly. I wa super grateful the first time I went that the server had a dessert prepared for me (it was a delicious apple pie and ice cream) even after the kitchen had closed. Very considerate!

Excellent music and atmosphere, great food, lovely staff - what's not to like? We spend a truly great night there and will definitely be back. If you live soul and/or funk - this is a place to be. The menu has something to please both omnivores and vegetarians and I'm sure friendly and helpful staff will be able to accommodate any other needs, so no excuses really! ;)

A friend recommended Soulsa as a good place to go for lunch where I could take my 1yr old. I have been twice now, once with the wee one and once without. On both occasions the staff could not have been more helpful and the food is great too (Bahas!). Nice relaxed atmosphere, and friendly place, would highly recommend. Bonus points for the music too.

James (the manager) is very accommodating, he was extremely friendly and was happy to let me use his charger as my phone was dead. Stepped in for brunch on a rainy Saturday. Had the best scrambled eggs. Cooked with peppers and spring onions, a touch of fresh chilli and topped with cheese. Served on sourdough. Good coffee too. Decor and music is perfect if you like Soul music.

Glassford St, rather unimpressive entrance and very quiet at lunchtime, midweek. But we had a friendly welcome and a very good salad and drink here. It does a lot of live music in the evenings, and Soul is the theme.
