Great sirloin steaks cooked perfectly plenty of very tasty hand cooked chips , made us some fantastic onion rings / doughnuts . Great pepper sauce . Brilliant friendly service , really good house wine . All wrapped up in a great deal on Thursdays what's not to love .

This has got to be the best Sunday roast we’ve had. Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The meat was tasty, the veg and Yorkshire pudding lovely and the gravy was superb.
Considering also the lower price when compared to other places for their Sunday roast we were incredibly pleasantly surprised. We now have our favourite Sunday spot.
Thanks to the staff too who were great and super friendly.

Have to say we were very surprised. Steaks were really good. Cooked great. House wine is very pleasant. £39 per couple!!! What a bargain. Servers really friendly and chatty. Music also very good. Good atmosphere.

Pancakes were amazing. And the baked eggs looked and smelled soooo gooood. Everything was very well presented and really did taste very good. Great they do take away I so was able to take a coffee with me. Will bring more friends! Ha.

G. H.Fantastic cosy restaurant, food is always delicious and I haven't met a member of staff I don't get on with, and I've been about 5 times since I discovered it! Definitely worth a night out 👍 and there's a car park right outside.

D. C.Not what I expected when I arrived. Had booked based on other reviews and menu looked great. Got out of taxi and was slightly surprised by the rather hidden location. But, once inside and greeted by staff we felt immediately at ease.
The restaurant is beautiful and the staff are really great. The food really was very good. We had the mushrooms on toast and the salt & chilli starters which were really tasty. For mains we did the steak night. Both steaks were cooked perfectly. Although not on the menu they made me a blue cheese sauce which was very nice of them. My wife’s peppercorn sauce was great too. We both upgraded to truffle fries which were delicious.
We didn’t have desserts or coffee as we were full, so can’t comment on that. Will try those next time.
A very pleasantly surprising evening. We will definitely be returning again soon. Highly recommend.

A. F.This is the first time I've been there. Took my wife for breakfast. I had the full breakfast and my wife had the vegetarian, with Cappuccino's each. Got to say it was lovely, the breakfasts were well cooked and the coffees were super. Will be going there every week from now on.

S. M.Just home from an absolutely delicious meal in this lovely restaurant! I don't know where to start, lovely warm welcome from the staff. I'd booked our table through OpenTable and booked the steak and wine deal. Got seated in a lovely booth and our order taken. I asked if we could change to soft drinks instead of the wine and they had absolutely no problem with this which was great! I had steak med/well and the Mr had his steak rare. Both were cooked perfectly, the hand cut chips were so good, the peppercorn sauce was really delicious too! The music and the atmosphere in this place was perfect, sometimes you go into a place and there's no music and other times you go in and can barely hear yourself think but they have it spot on. Hopefully we'll get a chance to come back soon ☺️ 2 delicious steak dinners, 2 soft drinks and a pudding for under £40!!

M. O.Endearing little restaurant in Broomhill situated within a small block of shops with good parking facilities. Excellent menu with decent healthy options; I had the brunch stack, which was delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful, and that always goes a long way. Will definitely be back.

I had the hot and spicy chicken wings followed by the 8oz ribeye it was without a doubt one of the best stks I've had. We will definitely be returning.

A. W.I was given a voucher for this restaurant for my recent birthday from my friends! So my wife and I booked a table and visited today! On entering the eatery we were welcomed by a cheery, friendly waitress, immediately making us feel relaxed and dare I say, special! I chose Cullen skink soup for my starter, followed by Sirloin steak, hand cut chips, glanced tomatoes, mushrooms and of course peppercorn sauce, ahhh...delicious!😁My wife chose chicken burger as her main followed by cheese board which she assured me was all very tasty!👍Lastly another mention for our waitress for the day, her cheeryness, friendliness and competence continued throughout our stay!! We will be back, with our girls, soon!

d. k.So, went here with friends for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, firstly Victoria the waitress was brilliant, helpfull and attentive, we were a bit early so she had to confirm we were ok to be seated, to be honest, this place was heaving, where did everyone come from at 2pm on a Sunday in February????? Anyway, service was great, lots of time to chose, plenty time between courses, and food cooked to perfection reasonable prices but food good and very well presented, never been before and will definitely be backour whole experience was excellent and if I was going to put down any negativities it would be about portion size, not that I advocate food waste but we all finished our plates with absolutely nothing left, our friend only normally eats pies and beans but managed to clear his plate of burger and a very small portion of chips, only other negative is that by 3pm on a Sunday they ran out of draught lager, other than that, thoroughly enjoyed it, Victoria and Sean are a real bonus to this little hidden gem
