Had a delicious chip supper from Queens last night. The service was prompt and the chips, cod and curry sauce was top notch and oversll good value. Food tasted fresh and was very much enjoyed. Best food I've had for a while from a takeaway. Thank you. Keep it up ☺️

Handy place to get reasonably priced fish and chips. I like being able to park in their car park rather than finding somewhere nearby as i have to with most other fish and chip shops. The fish was nice with crispy batter and chips were freshly cooked. They are open on Sunday evenings too, whereas some fish and chips are closed or close early.

I was impressed with the size of the fish I've eaten better tasting batter but it was okay I asked for a small portion of chips and was given a dinner plate full which is brilliant for sharing by alas most of mine went in the recycling bin.

I'm walked into a clean, light and friendly atmosphere and was greeted straight away by the server. She was enthusiastic about her products and I ordered popcorn chicken and chips. After a short wait while it was freshly cooked, I received a decent portion of chips and chicken. I wasn't disappointed, the chips were dry and not greasy, a good size and nice tasting potato. The popcorn chicken was tasty bite sized piece of chicken in a lightly spiced batter with an option of a dipping sauce (which I didn't try). It was a warming filling meal and I would definitely recommend the Queen's fish and chip shop and look forward to another visit.

Finally! A proper fish and chip shop...... chips with colour and crispy outside with a soft middle, all other chippies we have tried locally serve up pale, floppy rubbish. Eating this food reminded me of buying and eating chips some 30 odd years ago as a kid, a decent portion size with the scrumps too (my favourite part) medium chips was more than enough for 1 and the fish cake and pie were very nice too, also we ordered through just eat and it was still piping hot when it arrived. We will defo be using Queens again, it came highly recommended by friends which is why we tried it and we were not disappointed!

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST FISH AND CHIP SHOP IN MY AREA massive portions and the cod is thick and meaty flakes no black or brown veins in it, batter isnt to thick, i always have the battered onion rings fresly cut from spanish onions cooked in front of u they are huge and delicious. The wife loves the kebabs from there i havent had one of them as always have the fish defo worth the money as its quality iproduce and 100% would recommend Queens to all cod lovers. it has a restuarant i havent used it myself but am told it is a place u can have fish and chips with a glass of champers!

I visited Queens Fish and Chip Shop for the first time recently, and was extremely impressed with the service and quality of food! I had previously used another well known Fish and Chip Shop in Hucclecote, but have been disappointed by the quality of their chips for a while now, so tried Queens on a friend's recommendation, and they were very, very good! I would highly recommend this Chip Shop to anyone looking to buy first class Fish and Chips!

Took 12 of our family there today for hubby's birthday treat. Only four of us had been before. Fabulous meals again. Service was excellent - the two waitresses were chatty, obliging and made us feel very welcome. Would recommend this place to anyone, but beware, don't eat much before you arrive. They're not skimpy on their portion sizes 😉

A great chippy well it is in terms of distance for me. The mini cods aren't really mini imo. If you pay by card there's a 20p fee so take cash if you object to paying this fee. As of 6/10/18 they don't take cards in the takeaway, don't forget it's cash only. Not sure of the restaurant is the same too.

When i visited this fish and chips i had a 5 out of 5 experience from friendly staf to exelent food portion was large there for great value for money the food quality was also exelent its was freshly cooked and stil hot when i got back home!! The place was very clean and with an open kitchen wish is always reassuring that the food you are being served is fresh and being cooked in front you, i would recommend this takeaway to everyone u can also bit this thru deliveroo and possibly thru just eat. ( not sure about just eat is just an assumption) and just for information i believe they do half price menu on the last week of every month so perfect opportunity to try for a fraction of the price hope this is helpful to you all

Probably a must for lovers of fish and chips, but not for us. We were spending a few days in the area, using it as a base for seeing the the Cotswolds. We'd had a long day, first trying the Royal Oak (recommended by the hotel, but too far away through bottlenecked traffic), and running out of time. Strange for us to find a pub apparently specialising largely in fish and chips, and in a separate dining room. The fish was tasty. I would have plumped for a different side, but none was offered. The staff were impressively nice.

The chips here are great and I can see why it's so popular. I used to swear by the chicken tikka in naan bread, but sadly the last few visits it's been rather salty and just not as good as it once was. I'd definitely go again, but next time I'll probably try something different to go with their great (and very generous) chips. Well worth a visit, but just probably avoid the chicken tikka meat.

My husband and I visited Queens Fish & Chip Restaurant for lunch today. We had a prawn cocktail and cod & chips and both meals were delicious and wonderfully fresh. However what spoilt our experience was two toddlers on the next table who were allowed by the parents to emit piercing screams without much let up. The adults on the table were just laughing about it. We had to move to the other end of the restaurant as did another table of ladies. We did tell the adults that the screaming was spoiling our lunch... The waitress was apologetic...

I'm a regular customer and am impressed on the whole. One issue, however is that a 20p charge is placed on all card transactions regardless of how much you spend. I understand if it's under a fiver but when you spend in the region of £15 and still have to pay its a bit off.
