A. W.Stayed for 2 nights, pub/restaurant downstairs, lovely individual rooms upstairs. The food is excellent and the breakfasts are as good as I have had anywhere. 1 mile outside gloucester easy to leave car and get bus into centre.

b.Great rooms, delicious food, great value, why stay at a well known hotel when you can stay at places like this for two thirds of the price.....try the local Strawberry and Black Pepper gin.......you will love it.....hic
P. R.We stopped here for lunch on our way up north. The food was excellent. My husband had the pulled turkey burger with added bacon and I had the bacon, brie and cranberry hot sandwich on sourdough bread. Both came with chips and it was all cooked to perfection. Plus it all arrived within 20 minutes of ordering. The staff were lovely and friendly. We would definitely come back if ever in the area!

Have tried the roast beef, roast pork, vegetarian roast, lunchtime sandwiches and Over Farm Market steak all cook to perfection and will be going back again soon. Just a real shame they don't do any non alcoholic beers or ciders.
J. B.My friends and I travelled to the Lock Keepers for a lunch. We didn't have any as you can only eat there if you have pre booked. This wasn't made clear anywhere. It's understandable why it is that way, but we wouldn't have gone there without booking first, if we had known. The 3 stars are for the location, which is stunning.

s.Good Seating and service. Parking is a bit Dark in the night. Car park is a bit rough. No lights. BP charge master is there for EV. Although it didn’t except membership car so Had to pay £15 deposit. This is for some reason BP is doing in many places. BP chargers are mostly located in a corner in every location which is mostly the most dark, rough area. They need to improve here and see LIDL POD Point, OSPREY or Genie Point

C. E.Lovely venue, hidden gem IMO as you wouldn't know it was there if you didn't know about it. Went with a friend, had a lovely coffee outside by the canal basin on a warm, sunny afternoon which made it a perfect venue, fantastic chilled vibe. Will be going back to sample more food and drink very soon.
