Fantastic breakfast with your cuppa included in the all day breakfast price. Great quality food. And those Lincolnshire sausages have so much flavour i could go back just for them. Will definitely be back for some amazing looking cakes and a cream tea in the warmer weather. 😋

Basic but good cafe next to the River Severn. Nice outdoor garden although the traffic was a bit noisy. Coffee and cake were good and my cherry scone was better than good and had a lot of cherries in it. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The cafe inside is rustic - but not in a bad way - everything looks not quite finished. Prices were reasonable. I'd be happy to go back.

Fantastic place to pop into anytime, but for me especially to meet up for breakfast with my friends. Food quality excellent, service always friendly and attentive, prices good. It's always clean, tidy, nice garden for alfresco. The Silver Fox is now an increasingly regular firm favourite! Definitely recommended 👌 👍 🥰

5* !! We came here for late breakfast, it was spot on, just how a simple english breakfast should be, easy on the pocket too... Great interior design, awesome views outside too, easy parking. If you fancy that roadside style cafe, with good food, nice drinks, nice scenic location, and you like motorbikes, this is worth the visit!

I met with a couple of friends here a few Sundays ago and we were all very impressed with the food, service and the overall experience; the cakes were delicious, fairly priced and great portion sizes (I took a piece of red velvet cake home for my husband and it was amazing!); All the staff were so friendly and really accomodating to my little boy and his squeaks and squeals. Just moved to Newnham-on-Severn and had a walk down here for breakfast one day. Nice people, sat outside in the sun and had a big breakfast....perfect.

Bike night and for the second time this year we were presented with a decent burger with real cheese in a nice brioche bun - with onions. One place charged £5 for a nasty, dried up, overcooked, cheap burger, rubber cheese, and the cheapest bread roll they could buy and it was cold. Needless to say we won't ever buy another from there!! Silver Fox was lovely! Decent coffee, home made cakes and reasonable prices. 😋 Quick service too, with 2 outside bars!! Can't wait till the next bike meet.

Really clean cafe with very friendly staff. Good absolutely delicious. Music history to site, visited by Shirley Bassey and Tom Jones in the past and also the Beatles and their contemporaries. From the road looks like a bikers cafe, which it is I suppose, but so worth visiting. We’ll be back …

Great cafe for cyclists or anyone for that matter, friendly staff, lovely choice of cakes, brownies or similar and coffee. Some nice features scattered around the cafe, artists paintings , plants, old motorbikes and so on - well thought out presentation. Breakfast looked emornous too much for this humble cyclist to tuck into- so stuck with coffee and cake to help with the last 15 miles back home. We shall be back again - Silver Fox.

A great little café on the edge of Newnham-on-Severn. I only had coffee and cake, but the did have some gluten free ones for those that have an intolerance. They have loads of parking spaces and the entrance to the building is via a wheelchair friendly ramp.

On arrival the service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and welcoming , the food was excellent and the desserts were to die for! . Stopped off for lunch on our way back from Lydney at this really convenient fab café. The staff were friendly, the whole place was super-clean and the food was great. (I loved my bacon brie and cranberry toastie) Free parking too. I totally recommend this wonderful gem of a café.

Really great service - messaged me back v quickly to confirm they could cater for a severe nut allergy, and did us a portion of cheesey chips in new oil/separate fryer etc. It is so good for my son to feel that he can eat what others are, not to be singled out or have to bring own food. 1st visit. Doesn't look too good outside as it is a bit chaotic with a bit of a campsite and the odd bus parked. Tables outside in the garden area are OK. Bit expensive I thought for a can if Pepsi £1.60. Overall not a bad place...

A nice setting across the road from the river which unfortunately cannot be seen. The outside area is a bit scruffy but there is a lawn with tables for eating. A varied hot and cold menu with a selection of tasty looking cakes. Although there are a few coffee choices the flat white was a disappointment. The staff are pleasant and helpful.

Popped in for lunch today. I had a carvery, which was delicious and very filling. My fiance had the big all day breakfast, loads on the plate and great value. Our daughter had a panini, which came with a side salad and then a generous slice of coffee cake. All the food and drinks were lovely and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to the upcoming events there, especially the live music.

I was pleased to discover this still exists. I live in Germany now but had lived in Lydney 50 years ago. Originally an excellent trucker's stop (which were once the ONLY places for a proper breakfast!) the coming of the M4 reduced its business. For old times sake I'd love to go again there. Hint: some 10 years ago or more my wife and I had an excellent fish and chips at the White Hart just up the road. So, two excellent places to help one survive through the day! Enjoy!

In my mid 60's and remember roadside cafe's. Great traditional British fare, from bacon and eggs, fried bread to ham, egg and chips to tea and cakes. I used to vist Silver Fox cafe 'back in the day', nostalgia at it's best. Great home cooking and baking. I was rushed into hospital this week, when I was discharged guess where I headed for lunch ! Welcome back Silver Fox, you are in safe hands.
