Located iseveral miles outside Hereford in one of the Tudor black and white buildings in the village of Weobley, with tables generously distanced apart rather than crammed together to maximise the profits and compromise the experience. The menu is extensive with lots to choose from, and the staff were helpful and polite. While the food wasn't the best Indian I've had, it was still good and very far from the worst I've been served in other restaurants. Pricing is what you'd expect for a decent Indian meal, so on balance if I visit the area again and fancy an Indian meal, I will make the effort to drive out to the village to come here again, over chancing one in town in Hereford centre.

Food was very good and reasonable prices. Very comfortable dining chairs. Missed out on 5 stars as the carpet was rather tired and some of it could do with a being a bit smarter. Ladies toilets OK. Apparently men's not so good.

Visited here for dinner on Saturday evening as visiting family in Hereford. Service was friendly and helpful, the waiter obviously knew what he was talking about, but it was very slow, even though not particularly busy as the restaurant had only just opened. The decor was a little tired and could do with an update in some areas. Food was hit and miss. Samosa's lacked flavour, and one of the curries was bland. The trout tandoori was the surprise of the menu (actually was really good) but judging by the reaction of the waiter not a dish that is ordered very often. The naan bread was excellent. Portion size was large in comparison to other Indian restaurants Overall was worth a visit but not sure I would make the effort to travel there

Really lovely food with the most wonderful poppadoms we've ever tasted. Attentive staff. Just one minor niggle, due to current conditions entry to the building is from the car park at the back of the building, this area is very untidy, overgrown and full of weeds, not very welcoming! Carpet also very grubby.

Nice dining experience, food was good, not too spicy as I requested. Staff were nice. One of the waiters shared some of the food with us and even gave us some Asian complimentary food. Food may be slower at times to arrive but you can Garuntee they will give you as spicy and hot or reduced spicy, if requested. Will recommend it. I came here five years back when it first opened and service since.has changed a lot, for the better

I have eaten in many Indian Restaurants, however none have come close to Lal Bagh. The staff are friendly and attentive. When they talk to you, they are genuinely interested in the conversation. The food was first class and the amount on the plate was just right. The cost for five of us eating was not excessive. I would recommend this restaurant and will be using it again.

Went here after receiving a Groupon voucher. What can I say, the food was superb, beautifully presented and tasted divine. The chicken sagwalla and egg fried rice was the best, so light and tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Definitely going to be going back...

The food was ok I had a version of a mixed grill and I was not impressed by the quality or taste. My wife had a chili garlic chicken which was nice. The nan bread are were good not sure if I will go back, I think there are better quality and cheaper restaurants in Hereford.

My first visit to Lal Bagh was during Covid 19 restrictions so takeaway only available. We had to wait over an hour before food being ready to collect so the is a popular place. The wait was worthwhile as the food is superb and good portion sizes. Reasonable prices with excellent choices of food. I can't fully review due to lick down restrictions but would expect 5 stars! A must visit Indian.

Lal Bagh is our favourite local restaurant! Not only are the staff friendly, their food is consistently delicious and they have made ordering & dining very safe during the entirety of the pandemic. I always recommend them to anyone who's after a delicious evening treat!

Food is good. However the rice portions are small and it is expensive. Could be a little more generous for take aways. Many Indian take aways give complimentary poppadoms and even a couple of onion bajjis.

My local "Indian" so perhaps I'm biased, but this is a fantastic place. The dishes are really subtly spiced and the flavours just grow and grow. Some great signature dishes as well as the usual standards. Also in a lovely building (the room to the left as you go in is not so characterful, better to stay in the room with the bar)

Absolutely splendid. We came all the way from Hay to visit and explore the area only to find ourselves in here. The waiter was a bit trippy but the food was better than anything Leominster and Hereford city Indian takeaways have to offer. The special dish was a rarity but lovely.

a really extensive menu and the food is always satisfying for my wife and I. It’s a good sign if you have to wait a little for collection orders as it means it is being prepared freshly for you. The only downside is the cost of popadoms :-)

An out of the way restaurant in what was once an old pub. The staff were very helpful but were juggling a lot of customers. We were seated in the larger of the 2 rooms - unfortunately it was cold out and the heating couldn't cope - I had to keep my coat on. The food was what you expect and we had no complaints. I suspect the whole experience will be enhanced with warmer weather and the coming lighter nights
