Very prompt service from waiting for a table to been seated and served, the food I got was well worth the money, it was a hot sandwich with steak and side of fries. It was lovely will definitely go again next time in the area .

It's not bad. The staff seemed friendly enough however the fish and chips had run out so instead two of us ordered the lasagne and it kinda felt microwaved and not actually nice and fresh which definitely put me off. It was quaint but I don't feel I'll be going back anytime soon alas

Wonderful food, with a nice view of the Marina. Healthy options, as well as some treats. Food came out promptly and was reasonably priced. The Goats cheese and tomato ciabatta is to die for. Easily accessible with a wheelchair and has vegetarian options.

Leonardo's. Probably my favourite place to eat in Hull. Always great service from friendly staff. There is sometimes a wait during busy periods. But it's worth it. I Have eaten my way through almost the entire menu and simply enjoyed everything. My wife and I popped in today Saturday 12.10pm. A little wait, so had a tea and coffee at the bar. Was seated after about 10 minutes. I had the posh fish finger wrap with sweet chilli sauce,wedges and coleslaw. The thing with leonardo's everything taste the same .... fantastic. If you are visiting Hull and want a light bite or one one if the heartier main dishes dont hesitate to come here.

I am staying in Hull for a week and finally, on my last day I have found real restaurant. Because it is my first time in UK I had to try fish and chips. I heard many horror stories about this infamous dish but I won't be telling one. Fish was tasty, fresh and fried to perfection. The soup of the day, creamy tomato soup, was delicious as well. The place has nice, quiet, warm atmosphere, with friendly and welcoming staff. If I will be ever back to this town I will visit again.

I eat at Leonardos a couple of times a month. It is always clean and the staff are excellent. The service is quick and delivered with a smile. There is no rush to finish your meal. Leonardos are still encouraging customers to wear a mask unless sat at a table.

Asked to use the wi-fi in the outside seating area, there was plenty of signal but apparently that's not good enough to be acceptable to be given the password! Waitress walked off after she said "there's no signal outside" without saying sorry... Perhaps a bit of customer service training could be in order? Or if you didn't want customers to use the wi-fi outside just say? Wouldn't that be better to keep customers during a non busy period?

Usually really busy but they always get you a table. Great place for lunch in Hull city centre. Service is quick and friendly, the food is always delicious. Bit pricey, but I think it's worth it. Recommend the fish sandwich... And the chips are gorgeous!

Fantastic bistro. Excellent food. And really good customer service - one time I asked if they could warm up my meal as it wasn’t terrifically hot and they brought me a whole fresh meal!! And the manager was very apologetic. I love this place. Just booked for our fifth visit as we wanted to share the experience with our son and his girlfriend.

Thought the prices looked a bit steep before going in but the portions were generous and the staff were great. Really made an effort and gave the personal touch. We were gobsmacked when what we assumed was the owner and gave us a free round of drinks for bad service! We had a meal here tonight while visiting Hull for City of Culture events. We hadn't booked a table but just managed to get a seat. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and polite. The food some of the best we've had. We both chose stir fry with hosin sauce. Totally gorgeous. Even though the restaurant was full and the staff were busy they remained helpful and attentive. We will definitely eat here again or even just call in for coffee. Highly recommended.

Visited today with work friends. Food was absolutely fantastic (I had gammon). Unfortunately they don’t have any wheelchair access or wheelchair accessible toilet (toilets are downstairs). This meant I didn’t get a drink and also had to rely on people helping me into the building.

Had a lovely lunch here today. Staff where friendly and helpful from beginning to end, helping me with the peak through the door, helping me to a suitable table with space for the pram and getting a drink for me promptly while I waited for my friend. Like wise staff helped my friend find me easily and ensured our order was taken quickly. The food was delicious and quick to be served, staff checked we were happy with our meals and were extremely friendly. Lots of different things to choose from on the menu that is different to most places. A refreshing change of choice. Always nice to have chips come with your sandwich opposed to crisps. As we left we were helped out the door too. Fab little find for a mid week lunch.

I was here as a part of our business get-together over drinks and dinner. The service is a bit delayed, nevertheless the food and ambience is great. It is a relaxed bistro right opp to Prince's Dock. It's always a good idea to ring them up for a table reservation in case you want to avoid the waiting time. I am a vegetarian I did not expect the lasagne to taste this good. Try this if you're vegetarian like me. You'll love it. It's open from Mon-Sat from 10am to 9pm with the last booking at 7.30pm. They also have a music night every Wed (check before you go) 6pm to 9pm.

My family and I have been enjoying this nice local bistro for years. The staff are friendly and helpful, the menu satisfies most, unfortunately I tend to stick to their most excellent home made burger coated in chili con carne. Is this the best place to eat in Hull....that's a big fat YES!! I visited today (16th July 2015) after celebrating my sister graduation and cannot wait to return. the food was excellent, especially the chunky chips, but above all the staff were amazing so friendly and kind and a good laugh. The food is not overpriced and very good value for money with views across princes quay this restaurant has it all! we waited no longer than around 10 minutes for food and were very impressed with the level of quality. I would recommend Leonardo's to anyone wanting a brilliant service by brilliant staff!

Leonardo's stroganoff, I had the beef which was beautifully tender and plenty of it. We sat inside which was clean and fresh, the staff are attentive without being intrusive. If you are in Hull you should pay a visit. We will most definitely be going back.

First visit. Very warm welcome on arrival from Lee. Well balanced menu had me torn between a number of mains. Seeing my quandary Lee steps in to recommend the Goulash, it was amazing!! We have been using this bistro bar for some years now and as always the service is prompt and definitely friendly and quick. My wife is a bit of a connoisseur on lasagne and recently on our trip to Italy we stayed at a local airport hotel which had Marco Pierre Whites restaurant attached to it and my wife had to try his lasagne and we also tried one in Rome itself and she said that neither was better than Leonardos by far. So come and try this local friendly bistro you won't be disappointed. Enjoy

i used leonardos for a very special reunion, i cannot fault the place it has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, nicely set out. nothing pretentious, The staff, the mananger the whole team were super patient with me and my son as we stayed a lot longer than expected. the food was lovely, drinks were wet i accidentally left my phone for a while on a table it was fetched to me by the waiter. just perfect, if you visit hull or you are from hull please give this place a try you will not be disappointed. I will definitely use Leonardos again and as i hope ive put across here will highly recommend it to anyone asking. 5 stars and above well deserved.
