Just visited. 25/6/22 and had a lovely taste of turkey. The waitress who was looking after the whole restaurant was wonderful. Helpful. Knew the menu brilliantly. And was a pleasure Darling.

Wonderfull food, freshly cooked, we had to wait, but boy was it worth it. Service was brilliant, friendly, helpful staff. Definitely worth another visit. Restaurant was clean, chairs comfortable, toilets were clean.

Had a great dinner tonight. Portions were plenty, didnt get to finish the mains after having starters too so great value for money. Restaurant was clean, staff were friendly.. not quite sure about the 1 star reviews, probably from a jealous restaurant in the area or something.. this is not a paid for review and we paid full price for our meal. Exceptional service. We ordered a platter for 4, for our sons 15 birthday. We wasn't sure what it included so left a message and they returned our call with fantastic advice on what to order as the was 5 eating. Platter for 4 was ample. The food was superb, prompt delivery and really helpful staff. Can't praise them high enough. We may even order one for tonight as it's our wedding anniversary and we've more family round. Some of the best food we've had in a long time. Thanks Ararat.

Delicious, healthy and great service! The veggi mousakka gorgeous, salmon and seabass.. excellent 👌 Comforting food, great portions. Dessert: Won't mention which dessert don't want everyone getting it and leaving me with nothing haha... Hint: Pistachio kufi - for people that want a refreshing dessert that is not too sweet....expect it to arrive frozen it will defrost during the course of your meal

Wow. What an incredible meal this was. We ordered from here on a whim via Uber Eats and couldn't believe our luck when the food arrived. Everything was fresh, piping hot and tasted amazing. Portion sizes are incredibly generous, too. Will certainly be ordering again.

Great lunch time menu. Ask for the lunch time menu which is one A4 sheet it's cheaper. £6.50 for one course. £7.50 for two courses only at lunch time. The dinner menu is amazing and they give generous portions of food. The wine is very tasty if a little pricey. A good selection of soft drinks are available. Coffee is strong but you can ask for it weaker. The decoration inside the restaurant is nice and there is more seating upstairs which you can't see as you walk past. The service is very good, polite and thankfully we have never been rushed out of the restaurant like some places tend to do. Go on go, you'll love it !

Had a lovely lunch meal here with my brother. Food was lovely and excellent, really good proportions for the price you pay. Drinks prices were all right. Staff was very very smiley and friendly, and was helpful when it came to suggestions.

Lovely place- very Turkish! Lots of Turkish locals pop in to buy food to take away or stop and have a chat (which says a lot!) Great food and always exceptional service, so polite and helpful. I'm vegan and nothing is too much trouble. Very clean, staff well presented and clean toilets. What's not to love??

A massive thank you and well done to the staff for providing the experience of their food. It seems very handmade and the preparation is faultless. You can munch on lamb knowing there is not a fatty bit to ruin it. The falafel is perfect. My highlight of ordering. The rice is tasty and worth eating which is kind of unusual as a few other places who offer similar food do not do rice this well. Tasty. From what I have had so far this is my favourite eat out. I order to takeaway and haven't eaten in yet, but I can imagine eating in is amazing, smelling the food before you get it makes your more hungry! Thank you. Be back soon!

Today we had a takeaway from The Ararat for the first time, and it was fantastic, one of the best we have ever had.We had Shish Kebab, and Chicken Casserole, salad ,flat bread and two dips, everything was so fresh and full of lovely flavours. The guy on the phone was friendly and helpfull as was the delivery guy.So thank you all for a fantastic meal, we will be back ! 👍😷

The restaurant looks amazing and gives off that lovely feeling as though you're abroad, the food itself is delicious. There is a lunch offer of two courses for £8.50 at the moment and around lunch it's nice and quiet. I'd highly recommend this place

We have visited Ararat regularly since it opened and we absolutely love it! The food is delicious, fresh & varied. The service has never been anything short of exceptional; everyone really looks after us and goes out of their way to make our daughter (5) feel welcomed. Stand out dishes for us - liver , chicken shish and the sea bass. And the Turkish wine is worth a glass (or several) We have probably visited in excess of 30 times and we have never had a single thing to complain about. We enjoy lots of restaurants in ipswich and the wider area but this is certainly our favourite.

I have been to Ararat several times since it's opening. The food is fresh, and delicious, with generous portions. I have never been able to have both starters and dessert - I have to take one or the other. The staff is friendly, polite, and patient with children. Good value for money.

Food is good, but there was a large group in and the staff paid attention to them more than us. We got the mixed meat share platter, as we usually do, but this time it came with mostly chicken and just 3 bits of lamb. This had more variety when we visited the last few times. Was very disappointed

We dined here on a Saturday evening we were taken upstairs as tables downstairs were reserved. We were the first people up there , 3 other groups of people arrived after us and were all served before us. We waited 45 minutes for our drinks and over an hour for food (for 2 people). Don't come here on a Saturday night if you are hungry you'll leave very disappointed

I'm a weekly visitor to the Ararat. We have our team meeting lunch there once a week and staff can't get enough of the chicken shish wraps ;) The lentil soup is killer and there's a great range of starters and mains. I have been here with some friends,we were the only table in,we order our food,in myne time another customers arrived,were like at least 10 people,the thing I didn't like they order they're food after us,and the kitchen delayed our food because of them,they take out our food in the same time with them which is not fair because we have been waiting longer,plus they forgot our chips,we had to asked for them,they didn't bring any sauces even they were included with our meals,plus my friend askd for her daughter a second juice,that we never received on the table,but was on the bill at the end.We had to tell the waitress to take off from the bill.Was my first time here and definitely I don't want to come back,not happy.
