Didn't know this was a food chain have been to the one in Southend like 5 times including Uber eats deliveries. Sweet potatoe fries are very tasty and you get a decent amount plus the chicken burger was very fresh! Prices are just right and I highly recommend. They also have toilets and a high standard interior.

This was the BEST burger I've had in the UK. traveling from the states, was even more happy to get a gluten free bun. The fries ( chips as you say) were piping hot and crispy. The cheeseburger was everything and more, juicy, well cooked and that bun! bravo

Really lovely food, pleasant staff and nice atmosphere. Great quality burgers at reasonable prices. Not as "Posh" as some other burger places in town but for value for money and taste 100% recommended. I will definitely visit again. Out of our party of 4 3 of us wanted no this and no that in the burgers but that was not a problem for the lovely staff and everything came out correct and hot !

I decided to try this place out after seeing it was listed as one of the best takeouts in Ipswich. They weren't wrong! It was highly recommend we try the rosemary fries and I absolutely loved them! The burgers were a great size and were clearly cooked fresh. I also loved the fact they played old school R&B music which makes a change from monotonous radio music. I will be returning in the future!

LOVE Love Thy Burger. People have been telling me to go here for quite some time. Finally managed to get in there today and I wasn’t disappointed. The welcome was great. We knew exactly what we needed to do. Grab a table then go up to the counter to order. No confusion. There was plenty of choice. Two adults and a great menu for children. The food came fast, fresh and hot. No doubt that it had just come off the grill. Swift and polite service to go with that too! All while the place was packed out. We’re used to grabbing food at other burger places in Ipswich but this is now top of the list. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Came here on Friday 6th May at lunchtime. Friendly staff who was very good in letting me make my order plain. Food was quick to arrive and very tasty. I've been here lots of times and also had it delivered. Everytime it's been fantastic! I also tried a chocolate milkshake this time and that was lovely too.

Really really enjoyed it here and would 100% consider going here again. The burgers are really good, taste fresh and were a good size. Everyone with me also agreed and said their burgers tasted great too. The shakes we're also good and tasted great. The one critical point I have is that the decor seemed to prioritise the look over comfort with the low down benches made from this varnished chipboard and a bit too low down. But it wasn't a huge problem really and I didn't mind that much.

Really nice food! The veggie burger was one of the better ones I've had and the cheeseburger my friend had was also really nice apparently! Overall the food was lovely! However, the service was quite poor. You have to order at the till whoch ia fine but i stood there for 5 minutes without even being acknowledged which was annoying. If they sold some side items such as chicken wings/mac n cheese along with some more sauces, like sticky bbq and honey & mustard, then i could have been incined to add one more star.

Had the chicken burger, it was lovely. Chicken was obviously grilled and not too bland or dry. And the addition of the slaw and other bits added more flavor. The buns were fluffy and a nice color. Have had the veggie burger before and it was amazing as well.

Burgers are great staff are friendly. Menu is a bit confusing and the lunch deal really needs to include a drink! Otherwise your 5.50 turns into about 9 quid! Which isn't such a deal when you are already compromising on the burger size! Regardless great spot for a quick bite

Really like the decor and style of this place. Only thing that lets it down is that it only has one veggie option. The veggie option is also not a pattie, its its just some falafals in the bap. Friendly, quick service though. Enjoyed their chili jam and the rosemary fries are a nice touch. Overall a good experience but its a shame they don't have more options.

I usually don't have the appetite for a big burger but after doing a long shift at work I was craving one! I was assisted throughout my time here by a lovely blonde girl called greta I believe. she was very helpful and ensured that I received ten out of ten customer service. she delivered my food with a smile and read out of the allergy information as i'm bit of a hypochondriact and sometimes think i'm allergic to lettuce! as the lettuce from McDonalds makes my tongue itch! she ensured the lettuce was fresh and it certainly was!! I enjoyed my burger and my fries and my fresh lettuce and should be returning when i'm next in the area I look forward to seeing you greta thank you for making sure I didn't leave with an itchy tongue!

Very underrated place to eat, burgers have never disappointed. Seating isn't the best but it really isn't a big deal. Never busy, but 100% would be if it was located in the Buttermarket or that end of town. Overall never had a bad experience and couldn't complain.

Been to Love Thy Burger a couple of times. My husband has tried the Mother Clucker and the Phat Pig. He likes the burgers. I always order the Big Smoke burger (Beef Patty, Red Onion Marmalade, Cheese, Tomato, Pickle, Lettuce, Smoked Streaky Bacon, Crispy Deep Fried Onion, Chipotle Mayonnaise & Ketchup), the Strawberry Shortcake shake, and Onion Rings. There is also a kids' menu. There is a vegetarian option, but only 1. You can order online and collect your food. Wish they had delivery.

Absolutely brilliant quality. I loved the niche decor and relaxed vibe when i went to Love Thy Burger and have been 3 times in total. In my opinion the burgers taste far greater than those at Byron as i feel the meat has a lot more flavour. By the way, the rosemary fries are the future! Great tasting burgers and good prices.

Love the burgers here! The good is good quality but comes quickly so it's great for a lunchtime treat. You can have the burger without the bun and sweet potato fries if you are avoiding too many heavy carbs. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

Went here for the first time today after reading some other reviews. It's as good as people say it is, the service is friendly, and the food was excellent. The burgers are full of flavour, cooked to perfection and well presented. If you want to remember what burgers should taste like this is the place to go. The owner was on hand to talk to and clearly cared about the food he was producing for customers, that in my eyes is the key to a great restaurant, the prices are very reasonable as well and I would recommend anyone wanting a really good burger to give it a try.

Stumbled across this joint today and was extremely impressed. My partner and I both had the vegetarian 'goody two-shoes burger' and it was probably the best vegetarian option I have had. The regular meat options looked incredible too. It is more of a gourmet burger than your average McDonald's, but I thought the pricing was very reasonable, and I even got a discount from being an ITFC season ticket holder.

Easy to find, just off Westgate St. we just wanted a quick lunch. The decor is rustic/industrial with no cushions in sight. Ordering is done at the counter where a knowledgeable staff helped us choose. To some, having only 8 choices of burger on the menu is not enough but if you want to cook a good burger then that is plenty. Very good presentation, the bun was the right consistency and tasted good. The patty was the right thickness and consistency and it seem was ground from the best meat cuts. Done to medium rare, I could even taste umami.
