Best flame grilled chicken ever 👌🏼👍🏼 love the wings platter, the boneless chicken platter, chicken burger, rainbow salad & chicken plus the staple Nando's sides of peri peri fries, spicy rice and regular fries 💙 and you can never go wrong with bottomless drinks 😁

3 stars because i know the food franchise. The problem was that we waited for 40 min with the order in, to be informed that would be another 15 min at least until we get our food. Got a refund and left. Its a pitty because we really wanted to eat at Nandos.

Had an absolute fantastic chicken burger here! Tasted so scrummy! The waiter (jade) gave me ten out of ten service! I grazed my elbow on the table and had a small little cut so this lovely young lady rushed over to give me blue Roll and ensure I was in tip top health!! My chicken amazing so soft and juicy. I thought the service industry was declining due to the uproar in deliveries however a wet paper towel and fresh warm blue roll restored my faith! But all round jade made my day. Just a small piece of blue roll can go such a long way! I shall return and hopefully not cut my elbow. Thought I’d share my graze as it could of been so much worse and is now healing fine and dandy! Thank you jade you super star!

The food was great as usual just the service was a bit odd. They asked us to sit and wait for a table but then everyone else who walked in just seated themselves? Wasn't sure if it was because we had toddlers. It also seemed like there were loads of staff but only one woman actually doing anything. All a bit odd.

Quite packed for a Wednesday evening but good atmosphere. Staff obviously rushed off their feet and this led to delays in getting food, could see food ready on the pass for quite a while before being brought over and not all at same time. So starters for some of us had to be eaten whilst others waited else would get cold. Mains came more or less all together but my chicken in my burger was cold at one end that sticks out of bun. I didn't complain as couldn't be the reason everyone else with me had to wait until I got mine sorted. Apart from that it was ok.

It was lunch time when we arrived but as a couple we were seated immediately small queue to order at the till but you can still order via the qr code on the table. Server was polite and efficient at the desk and waiting staff all seemed friendly and polite. Food took approximately 15 minutes to arrive but was hot and to the standard we all come to expect from nandos. Overall a solid experience and happy to return.

I had a reasonably good evening with family, the service was good though i sensed some nervousness from fairly new staff, meal preparation was perfect but i was surprised to find out that the prego steak, chicken livers, mango & lime sauce and a few other choice items had been removed from the menu (reasons relative to lockdown explained by management). When i eat at nando's i always choose the booth seats to allow elbow room though the party i arrived with were not bothered about seating and chose a small table which inevitably led to a crowded eating area amassed with various sized plates, bottled sauces napkins and drinks.

Food was good, service could be thought about. Friday evening 7pm tried to get a table. Was told a 30 minute wait due to staff training (understandable) agreed to wait and then was told more like 40 mins actually. Then said we could takeaway, told a 20 minute wait, got to counter and told more like 30. I understand pre-empting wait times, and not wanting to sell yourself and not be able to deliver. But the whole experience and communication came off as, “we don’t want you in.” If you’re going to give wait times at least make them consistent so it doesn’t appear they’re being made up. The food was good when we finally got it.

The setting is in a retail park so it is not the best and the parking is really awful. The restaurant is acceptable however the service can be below par, I wondered if the staff have been correctly trained. The food is good and plentiful.

Online ordered and went to collect but the tills had failed and the staff were working frantically to fix it. We waited a little while to collect due to the system error but the staff were working hard to fix it. When we got home, we had accidentally been given the wrong order, but tricky when we had nearly £140 worth of food to feed a big group. I spoke to Rebecca and she was fantastic at getting the issue rectified in what was clearly a very busy night. She did everything in her control to help us and get it sorted and I was very grateful for her help and great customer service. Mistakes happen but the way it was managed was great :-)

Amazing, Aisha (staff) really made me and my friends experience comfortable, friend is Sikh so Aisha asked the chef to cook the vegan meal separate to meat grill and wiped down the grill to go the extra mile. First time I have ever got a pick up from location.. as this Nando's is closer then the town, I chose this location. As I got a gift card from a friend, I called almost two hours before gave all my details and order.. the order was for my family not just for one person, hence the call before..when I arrived ten minutes early and gave my details the staff on till said "sorry we don't have the full order" it's a 30min wait.. after accepting the gift card and extra money as the order was over the value of the gift card. I asked the staff member if I could take what was ready as only one large item was missing. We made do with the items that they had. I asked if they could refund me for the one item. The friendly manager came over and said it's now only a 15 min wait or we could replace the missing item.. I said again drop the missing item and I'll take what you have. He came back with a full refund in cash and after me saying that I had said I'd take the ready items he gave me a refund for that one item in cash, after paying by card. All staff are very friendly, it wasn't busy at all even though they did try and make up for the mistake. Once I got home some items had been over cooked one quarter of chicken was very dry, Jerk chicken dry. Don't think I would pick up again, not sure if I would stop by this location again. Ipswich locations aren't as good as Colchester? The Colchester location within the town is fantastic.. always perfect.

It's been a while since I visited a Nandos and sorry to say that it us quite a disappointing experience now. Cold restaurant, long queue to place your order which had to be chased up as others that had been seated and ordered after us were having food before us. The quality of the chicken products have declined since my last visit chicken portions are now really small breast and wings appear to have been taken from a Poisson rather than a full sized chicken. I ordered my normal quinoa salad, this time I thought I would have their choice of chicken breast instead of a chicken quarter, big mistake - it was thin, flavourless and another 3 customers must have shared the breast as the portion was so small, and the salad was minus the avocado. All in all a very disappointing experience, not to be repeated in a hurry.

I like the new Nandos location, and the layout of the restaurant is much better than the cramped layout of the one at Cardinal park. The food is your fairly typical Nandos, if you've been to one you've been to them all, but for the comfortable feel of this particular branch makes it well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Typical Nandos really. Can be very noisy sometimes, depending on when you are there. Better during the day. Had some issues when first opened but seems to be settling down a bit now. Food is pretty much the same throughout the chain and TBH overpriced. When the restaurant is busy the standard of food can drop a bit. Sadly having been to Nandos all over the place, they are definitely not as good as they used to be. If you have an authentic Portuguese restaurant near you, you would be much better going there to get your fix.
