The food here is out of this world. Its not the cheapest place to eat but trust me it's worth it. You get what you pay for. We had mezzo to start and a selection of mains you can see in pictures. The baklava is to due for. Restaurant itself is well decorated and the service was excellent

From service to food, from ambiance to saying our goodbyes, if I could give 20 stars it wouldn’t touch the sides as to how much I recommend Ottoman’s Restaurant. Second time here to celebrate a friends birthday, midweek (and busy!) 6 of of us have never felt more looked after. A little hidden gem in Ipswich that should definitely be your top food stop to eat at.

I've been waiting to try this place for a while, so went in on a Thursday evening without booking. Nice comfy seats and surrounding with a good atmosphere. Food was pleasantly enjoyable and portions quite reasonable for the average tummy. Prices were competitive By 7pm it was getting quite busy, which is always a good sign for a decent eatery. Thumbs up to the staff and management. Definitely recommend 👌👍

We had a fantastic time last night at this wonderful restaurant. Great communication via Messenger prior when not only did I book the table but also advised about the large car park at rear. Lovely friendly welcome. Given plenty of time to study the menu. The food was not only hot but so tasty and great portions. Wonderful flavours. Struggled to finish but managed 1 dessert - omg so sweet and yummy. We enjoyed our first visit and will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful evening

Having previously enjoyed a takeaway from the Ottoman, my first ever experience of Turkish cuisine, I suggested to a friend we went there for a meal. We both enjoyed it very much, and she's an excellent cook and difficult to please. But the food was excellent and the service very attentive so I have no hesitation recommending the Ottoman.

This is no normal ‘chippy’! These guys work too hard to satisfy everyone and that alone deserves recognition, but then the quality of their food is just the best which is why I travel so far to go there knowing I am going to receive the best customer service and best quality food from so far around. The staff are always so welcoming, the restaurant is always so clean and good looking with plenty of parking available to the rear, and also the prices are so fair - 10/10

We had a perfect valentine’s dinner thanks to the Ottoman restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was fantastic even though the restaurant was very busy. The staff could not do more for us. This is my new favourite restaurant. A true hidden gem. Free parking in at the rear of the restaurant is great too. We will be back. Try this place out. You will not be disappointed.

This has to be my 4th visit so far within the last 2 months visiting. I just have to point out that the Steak they do is the best tasted in a very very long time! Not only the steak was full of Flavour but the steak is cooked as a blue rare served on a hot plate, that way you cook it to your desire. Me personally like it as medium rare so i leave on the hot plate for max 30secs then slide across the plate next to the hot plate. While I’m enjoying the steak melting in my mouth, then my steak get loses its temperature, but no problem there put it back on the hot plate back to up temperature and enjoying my hot steak furthermore! Brilliant idea Ottoman! One other thing It arrives on this fancy wooden board which the hotplate, another plate to slide the steak across to and 3 pots which find your cooked mushroom, tomatoes and peppercorn sauce which all slots in neatly into the wooded board. I would consider this best steak I had in the UK! It is a real hidden GEM.

We turned up on a Saturday evening without a booking and they did their best to accommodate us albeit sitting us around the grill which was a tad uncomfortable. The food was excellent and promptly served. Highly recommend this restaurant but you must book especially on a Friday or Saturday night.

We visited this restaurant for my boyfriends birthday a few weeks ago, it was the first time that either of us had experienced Turkish cuisine. We were both incredibly impressed. The restaurant has nice decor and it’s impressive to see the chef in front of you cooking. Being a vegetarian it is difficult to find a restaurant that has more than 1 option, here there were a few different starters and mains to choose from. The food itself was well presented, and was some of the best food that we have had in a restaurant for a really long time. My boyfriend said the meat dishes were excellent. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back to this gorgeous restaurant, everything from the decor, service and food was spot on.

Ottoman special is the best chicken dish I have tasted for years. Wonderful service. But of a wait for food. Fantastic drinks menu, all Turkish wine, cranberry juice too. My husband had the Shish Kebab which was beautifully tender. Crockery is very well suited to what your eating. Very nice meal and reasonable at £55 (for two people).

We dined at the Ottoman for our Son in laws birthday on a very busy Saturday evening. The staff were friendly and polite and there was a nice relaxed atmosphere. The food is stunning, really flavoursome and cooked to perfection. We all agreed it was the some of the best food we had ever eaten. They brought the cake we had dropped off earlier, to the table with the sparklers lit and even joined in with a chorus of happy birthday. A very enjoyable evening and one that will be repeated very soon.

Went with family for a birthday, the food was absolutely delicious and the smell of the charcoal grill right next to the seating area was amazing too. I had the chicken beyti and my SO had the grilled salmon, both of which were delicious and cooked to perfection. It's a small place so probably worth getting a reservation, however they do do takeaway too.
