The food was delicious. We used the app to get £10 off the bill too so that was a real treat as well, especially at these worrying times. We sat outside in the garden with our dog as the Ship Inn is a dog friendly pub. It is well worth a visit.

The pub is really lovely and in a lovely setting. We ordered a burger and pork belly mains for lunch, both were very nice and cooked well. My Coca-Cola was flat but the coffee was great. I did enjoy the visit and I would recommend it to people but I wouldn't return personally as the prices were just a bit too high to me for what you get compared to the other deben inns etc, there were only a few specials and I found the main menu quite plain and boring.

Really lovely pub and amazing food. My partner had the burger and he said it was the best burger he's ever had when eating out. He doubled up but he said he didn't need to as the burger was very thick and well worth the money. I had the seafood platter and was also very pleased with it. Nice atmosphere and we went at a quiet time in the afternoon. The waiting team is also very nice, polite and friendly.

I did very much enjoy my meal. I had the BBQ pork belly with a good bowl of perfect chips, the best onion rings I've had in a while, sweet charred corn and homemade slaw. The BBQ jam sauce for the pork belly was perfect, not too sweet but full of flavour, wanted to lick the plate. The portion sizes were spot on, I was not hungry after, I personally had a coffee over dessert but could have put one away. The menu is full of something someone could find. The specials I imagine change a lot, only been once. The building itself is old world but brightly painted and lovely kept old beams. Plenty of outside seats too. Staff was lovely and done a perfect job, very friendly and polite and seem happy to be there, that makes a difference. Will be back.

This time I went for dinner with friends, and we managed to find a quiet corner with less glarey lighting than usual. The meals were excellent, including my game suet pudding (a first for me!) and friends had fish and chips - also good. The sweets were also yummy. Service was helpful and prompt.

Lovely pub in countryside. Big car park so never a struggle to find a space. Also big beer garden and selection of drinks. Never had food in there but by how busy it can get- I'd assume must be good!
