A. B.My friend had a California burger with chips and I had a large doner kebab with salad and chilli sauce. My kebab was excellent, lovely meat and a great, fresh, crunchy salad. My friend said that his burger was excellent, very tasty and great value for money. Two very happy bunnies.

J. S.My first time as I don't spend much time in Ipswich nowadays. My family use it all the time and their recommendation proved correct. The food was excellent and the service fast and friendly given how busy they were. Good portions and reasonable price with parking not too difficult. I will be back. W. L.Recently moved to the area so searched for the best kebab as a treat and read a lot of positive reviews on the California Grill. I have to say they were honest reviews! This place is delicious and worth the 20 minute drive from my house.
So far I've only had the mixed kebab but every meat was superior quality to anything I've eaten since I started eating kebabs in my teens (30 years ago). Their prices are no more (in fact a bit less) than anywhere else.
I had a good chat with the super friendly owner and he was telling me how much he pays for meat and how cheap other shops pay (as low as 3rd of his price). When I ate it, I believed he was telling me the truth as it really was the best ever meat I'd had in a Kebab. (Top restaurant quality!)
I'm looking forward to my next "treat" night and going through the menu over the coming years.

R. T.Was recommended on line by reviews, place is about another 5 min down the road from us. When I arrived at 6pm the place was really busy with customers, there was a bit of a wait for food and it seems to be a good idea to ring and order ahead. Staff were lovely, helpful and cheerful and gave my 5 year old a high five and a lolly. Food was worth the wait. Delicious flavoursome and tasty. This is now my go to place for quality kebabs. Thank you.

M. F.My son loves his Friday night Shish. It has become a bit of a ritual. The guys in the grill are always happy and larking around. I think that happiness infuses with their food and turns a kebab into a terrific bite.
My partner and I go for a healthy option and I stack up the five a day with probably the best slaw in Town!
