Reviews of Indian Tiffin Room Leeds

First time visiting. Beautiful building and decor . Food was to die for. Lots of delicious vegan and vegetarian options unlike usual generic offerings. Group tried quite a few cocktails which were amazing. Waiter did a great job. Very friendly and attentive. Met manager at end of meal who was also very friendly and welcoming. All in all a great experience. Will definitely be back !
I. O.
Had a feast😁 with friends!!! Tasty traditional Indian meals. Excellent customer service, lovely art work on the walls if you appreciate art
S. A.
Prices are reasonable, all of their meat is halal. Staff are friendly and nice. I had the pani puri but did not like it, however the sweet lassi was thick and lovely, chicken lollipop was juicy and succulent aswell. Pav bhaji was average. I’ll be back to try their dosas and biryani.

Food: if you’re looking for authentic South Indian food, specifically dosa, this place is great! The sambar tastes like it’s actually made by a South Indian and the chutneys have amazing flavour and a good level of spice.
Value for money: considering the price, the portion sizes are quite sufficient for one person per plate.
Ambience: two words: sensory overload
Service: polite and courteous staff and short waiting times
Overall: amazing place you should definitely try for South Indian food!

Loved everything about this place, for my 1st visit and I will definitely be going back. food is awesome and full of lovely flavours and some very different choices. Friendly service and offers good recommendations, Highly recommend you visit if in Leeds.

Nice indian place .Good food with very good ambience. Would definitely recommend butter milk here

Found this place after having a major dosa craving. Good South Indian food options, which is quite rare in the UK. We had the grazing platter starter to share, which had authentic Mumbai-style street food and was absolutely delicious. I had a Mysore masala dosa and my husband had the chilli cheese dosa. The masala dosa was fantastic & definitely helped my dosa/ home food craving! We also tried the Kerala fish curry main with a bhatura. The food was great and prices were reasonable. Will definitely go back to try a few of the other options.

We are Indians & therefore we know how actual indian food taste is. Indian tiffin room is one of the best Indian restaurants we have been to in the UK. The menu is extensive & they do have a good range of vegetarian options. Everything is really tasty. Their service is really prompt & the staff is really lovely. Will go back again !!

Fantastic place. Delicious food excellent service from lovely staff. 11 of us including 3 small children we only waited 5 minutes for a table in what was a busy restaurant. They were very accommodating and happy to help with our choices. We even got a small cake with a candle for free for one of our party. Fabulous place and I highly recommend visiting it.
P.
Authentic Indian, Madurai Dosa and Pani puri is the best, been to the one in Manchester and quality/taste is consistent.

The lamb was honestly divine, all the staff including the male manager were absolutely lovely and warm towards us. The staff frequently check up to see if everything is going well they put a lot of care into what they do, but you don't need to ask me twice it was BEAUTIFUL. The spice is gradual and doesn't burn the mouth out they really know what they are doing. I will always come back with my family I do not like any Indian in Leeds but this place.
V. S.
Good selection and variety of food items on the menu. All the chat items took me back to the street food taste of India; best I have had in UK.
The wait staff were warm and hospitable however the reception staff/ at the front needs to learn some basic manners on how to treat paying customers.
This rating is all due to the delicious food and service from the wait staff.
K. A.
The food, atmosphere, service, cleanliness and decor is so great at ITR! I have been here several times over the years.
The service in particular is great. You are not assigned one waiter, everyone waits on you which I prefer. Especially as they are all so attentive.
I will definitely be visiting again! 😊
A. G.
I would recommend the vada pav which is an indian vegetarian burger. However in our case the dahi and pani puri were a bit soggy. Very good drink is Rasp N Crème, vas very tasty.
M. V.
Had an absolutely lovely meal here yesterday for my Hen Party meal. We had the set menu in which the chefs brought out a large selection of the starters for us all to share. Everything was absolutely beautifully cooked and sooo tasty. Tried a few bits I never would have ordered if we’d got to pick our own starters.
The mains were also lovely, but I don’t think anyone managed to finish theres as we were all full from selection of starters.
None of us could squeeze in a pudding but we did go through a lovely selection of the cocktails!
All round a very nice evening with great food. Highly recommended!!
S. A.
Never disappoints with their authentic flavours, great service and tasteful, contemporary decor. It's also reasonable priced for the quality of their food and the servings are adequate. I visited all their outlets at Leeds, Manchester city centre and Cheadle, neither of them left any room for complaints. Highly recommended!
L.
Food was delicious, great service from your wait-staff as well. Will definitely be back.
I. D.
We had ordered food for around 9 people which included a lot of vegetarian and non vegetarian starters and main course.
All the food ordered was tasty and everyone enjoyed it. We visited this place twice. Anyone around in Leeds should definitely visit and try food from this restaurant.
S. S.
Lovely ambience and great customer service. Food was good but not so great. There are good amount of options and this restaurant is quite busy. Price is also very considerate. Its a good Indian dining option in Leeds
P. A.
I have been planning to visit ITR for a while and finally made it.
The ambiance is awesome.
Food is really tasty. Perfect balance of flavours.
Definitely a must try for someone looking to try Indian cuisine.
The staff members were really friendly and tried to fulfil some of our dietary requirements.
Will visit again.

A perfect place to chill with family and friends. Great location, Ambience and customer service. Butter chicken was woowwww, other items can improve in taste n so the portion size. Overall a satisying experience
F. Y.
It was amazing until waiting for a bottle of water for more than 20mins....however food was delightful as always
T. W. O. W.
Lovely food, especially the Biriyani. The staff were friendly, and the decor was beautiful. It would have been five stars if not for just a few adjustments - there was no drinks menu on the table, nor was there any drinks on the regular menu, so when we asked what wines they did, the waiter didn't know. A children's menu would have been good as well as kids can't eat spicy food and are quite fussy, other than that the place was great and would definitely come back again
M. D.
We didn't plan on coming here tonight, we had made reservations for Gusto on the same street, but they only accept cards and I only had cash. So glad we came here instead, everything from the service, decor, atmosphere and especially the food was perfect. Normally, I can only barely manage a starter and a main, because they are so heavy, but here we both had a 3 course meal. We had a beetroot tikki and the gobi manchurian for starters, the gobi was sublime 👌 For mains we had a massage dosa and butter chicken, the butter chicken was the best I've had in ages. For dessert, gulab jamun and pistachio kulfi. The kulfi was so creamy and tasty, probably the best I've had outside of India. We had non alcoholic cocktails, a lychee lemon one, this was so refreshing and another with 5 fruit juices, this wasn't bad either. We will definitely come back here and I highly recommend this place, its not your regular Indian, its different.
Our bill came to just under £50, which isn't bad for what we had in the centre of Leeds and they also gave us a discount for help out to eat out even though this scheme has finished, so we ended up paying £37 😁
Loved the wall art too 👌
By the way, special thanks to Pankaj our waiter, he more or less chose our entire meal and he was so attentive 😊👌
S. L.
It’s exciting food! We are not Indian food experts but this is an exciting restaurant for me and my family! It’s different from other Indians. Dosa was amazing! I gave it 4 stars because it is always so cold in there. And it seems the problem has never been fixed.
S. H.
Great service and nice food. I found some of it a but too spicy so it would have been nice to order according to taste. Chicken was massively overcooked and dry but the paneer was really nice.
T. M.
Fantastic food, fantastic service. Can't say any fairer than that.
K. M.
Amazing food and lovely attentive staff. Couldn't fault anything. Tried some new dishes- the savoury crepe and fish kebab was awesome. Will definitely return.
A. B.
My service this time was not great but understandable it was bank holiday!! I ordered raita it came after we ate all the food, we recieved everything separately with 20mins gap and with 3people that aint right (ordered alot more than photos).
Seekh kebabs are a Big NO tastless and dry
Dahi puri pani puri were DELICIOUS
The mains were perfect
Chicken tikka boti werent good this time
The naans were perfect but didnt recieve roti.
Im not a person to complain at this place has welcoming friendly staff 🙂 great food and environment
Thanks ITR LEEDS

A fantastic eatery my daughter and I discovered on our first visit to Leeds. The place is completely Indian. The manager, Sharat, and the waiter Pankaj made us feel at home. Food was authentic! I had the Rajasthan Laal Maas with rice; my daughter had a very tasty Phirni. We also enjoyed a lovely Kiwi-Melon and a Litchee-Lemon drink. Finally, we added a take-out order of a masala uthappa and a Goan prawn curry. Delicious food and great decor and ambience!
L. D.
During the eat out to help out I visited and was a bit disappointed as it was a set menu with limited choice. I found it strange to get a bread roll with an Indian but that’s what came with the goat keema starter. The flavours were nice though.
I’ve visited since and had a better selection. The okra fries were nice and the lamb curry tasted good. The chilli paneer was a sort of sweet and sour which isn’t to my liking and the paani puri remind me of the Mowgli chaat bombs but weren’t as good.
Overall nice but not great.
L. D.
Delicious food, lovely venue! Great staff!

So with an abundance of Indian and Pakistani restaurants in and around Leeds its kinda hard to pick one for any other reason than how the menu reads. ITR reads well. A nice array of foods and all well explained right there on the menu. So we went for it. Now, bear in mind Akbar's and Mumtaz are my places to go when it comes to curries so I was definitely expecting something different. Not disappointed, but also not amazed. First time I've ever had a dosa. Won't be the last time either. The excellent waiter advised some recommendations so we took them. All very good but seemed to lack the punch of a Mumtaz or Akbar's (even Mowgli is slightly better). We'll still go back as the restaurant itself is quite a looker, and the staff were helpful.
E. A.
17 person party staff tried hard to keep up but struggled to take and deliver orders. Food generally good but the spicy shekh Kebab not advertised with any heat and the chilli squid and chicken had no heat at all. Masala tea was good and generally most pleased with their dishes. But volume order definitely slowed things down.
A. D.
One of the best and must try indian restaurant in leeds.
Excellent customer service and do try their "Chaas" !
M. W.
Not your usual 'curry house'. Not sure if I came with the wrong expectations or it is not very good?
Had Pav Bhaji to start which was a curry sauce with 'buttered bread'. I was expecting a rustic bread but it was two bread cakes/rolls that looked like they were from Morrisons.
My main was Butter Chicken but on first taste reminded me of tomato soup...I asked my wife to try it and tell me what her first impression was, and sure enough her first comment was "tomato soup!"
I liked everything I ate but it felt a bit thrown together and bot authentic at all.
Mixed feelings about this place, not what I expected or wanted.
A. B.
The best Indian food we have had in a long time. Really flavourful, the masala dosa was fabulous and the service was exceptional too, very attentive. We had a brilliant evening!
s. s.
Loved everything about this place. Had a feast with family and friends. The best mangalorean tawa fish masala ever in Europe 😇😇....was nostalgic !!!! Dosas were yummy and so were the indian chats. The staff is very welcoming and attentive specially Harita 😀. Will come back soon.
i. j.
Top class, best curry ever there. Great service but you must book if you are going at the weekend. Lovely place and decor
B. M.
Food was fantastic as it usually is! Ordered a variety of starters and mains all presented really well and tasted fantastic. The fish curry was a little to smokey for my personal taste. Really enjoyed the lamb and chicken thou. If it's your first time you have to order the dosa. One change I would make is for there to be a larger selection of beers... Kingfisher is kinda boring
P. F.
Eclectic range of Indian / fusion dishes.
S. J.
Food is good but they add a 10% charge and act funny when you ask to pay less in tips. Also wouldn't honour vouchers bought at the end of the meal.
E. O.
When we arrived we were asked to wait at the bar which was very busy. After being seated though, we were told we had less than an hour at the table. I found the venue to be cold and staff to be unavailable for additional drinks but the food was very nice regardless.

Hello,
I went to this restaurant on my first day in Leeds and was very pleased with the quality of food and the variety.
The Madurai Masala Dosa, Hakka Noodles and the paneer tikka were most fabulous off all other the other starters we had.
The paneer curry and chicken dishes were really good from the main course.
This resturant is a few minutes walk from the city centre but worth it if you want nice and spicy Indian food.
t. s.
Food and service was really good. We ordered butter chicken, samosa chaat, kingfisher beers. Tasty dishes full of flavour. Thank you.
a. d.
Delicious food, Awesome taste.
Authentic Indian taste.
Highly recommended if you are looking for Indian street food with great taste.
L. Z.
Like the Indian Tiffin room in Manchester it's just as great fantastic food great staff. The place is nicely fitted out towards the window side but I do feel as though the lowerside the yellow side feels some what unfinished as you don't feel as welcome in that space as a pose to the upper portion. Was impressed with everything I ordered apart from the Bombay potatoes although they were amazing was just disappointing as it wasn't full with potatoes it was half full with salad.
B. D.
Delicious street style food and cocktails with attentive service. There was a large group eating when I visited which meant it was quite noisy, but still a fun atmosphere.
A. S. N.
Amazing place with a real Indian ambience. The food is delicious, and the staff members are very friendly.
A. C.
Another must try Indian restaurant in Leeds. Location is convenient, in the heart of Leeds city centre and nearer to the train station. Have got variety of foods and drinks to choose from. Cocktails are simply great. To start you can go for various Indian Street foods or fish and meat kebabs. In main they have plenty of choices from fish, meat and vegetable items. At the end you must try their hot Gulab Jamun. They also have coffee or spice tea to finish your meal. Prices are reasonable and interior is attractive. From Monday to Friday they have lunch offer, full course from £10. Have got clean rest room for customers. Service is friendly and have got enough space to host a big party.
R. S.
My first visit to a restaurant after several months shielding and I have never felt more safe and looked after. Sat away from others, screens in place, attentive service and PPE worn everywhere. And I haven't even got to the food yet! Great gluten free options, delicious softails and flavourful food. Cannot fault them! Special thanks to
Suresh!
S. B.
Great food, quick service nice ambience. Selection of food from both north and south India. Lost 1 star as no air con, the 1 fan I saw was near the entrance and non of the windows opened. So was really hot instead on a unusually hot summer's evening. Went with a mixed crowd of Indians and English people with varing tastes and everyone enjoyed the food. Tip: buy some potable fans
H. P.
Nice Indian Food. Gets very busy in the evening so suggest one goes early. Reasonably priced but portions are small. Claim to be Halal but not HMC Approved.
A. K. N.
Food was good. Portions were more than sufficient for a single person. Loved the starters.
M. B. (. C.
Food was realy delicious. Everything was tasty and fresh. Inside was many people so probably you will need reservation. Service was nice and polite, and explains food and how drink coffee. I wish I could come back there because it is worth.
Y.
Delicious tasty not too spicy (hot) menu. Lamb is slow cooked to perfection. A nice choice of vegetarian food also. Try the Indian red wine a nice surprise. Very busy on a Saturday but I was still able to get a table. Very friendly staff. Inside and outdoor seating available. Wheelchair friendly.
J. F.
All the food was amazing and delicious. I highly recommend trying the non-alcoholic drinks since they were some of the best we've ever had. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was nice although it was quite dark and hard to read the menu
K. G.
Absolutely delicious food. Will be going back to try more! Decor is lovely and the staff are friendly and attentive.
S. B.
We have been here several times over the last few years and the food has always been very good.
However, on the last two occasions (over the past 4 weeks) the heating has not been working and the place has felt arctic. This spoiled our entire experience and disappointingly, the staff did not seem to know when this would be fixed.
Sort it out ITR!
g. m. c. o.
The food is extremely exquisite!! You won't resist to have all of the dishes, starters, desserts... Everything is lovely 😋😋😋😋
T. J.
While the decor and service here is good, the food is average at best, specially at their price point. There is a good variety of items on their menu but I know there are better curry houses in Leeds.
T. A.
Butter chicken was way too sweet. Overall the experience was nice regardless.
T. M.
Firstly, the food here was fantastic, and includes a vegan specific menu! The portions were generous and each dish we had on our table looked (and tasted) brilliant. I can attest that the vegan food was fresh and delicious.
Secondly, the waiting staff were attentive, helpful, and just generally cheerful - delightful folks.
The reason for the 4 stars rather than 5 is purely because after we had finished dinner and ordered a few more drinks, the front of house came up and essentially asked us to move to the bar as the table was needed by another group. This was 40 minutes sooner than the booking system would imply (2 hour slot for the 7 of us), but they were busy and overall everything was wonderful so we cheerfully obliged. There was however no room for us at the bar, and after milling around trying not to be in the way for 5 minutes or so, we were informed the other guests had said they would return after a short period, so we were invited to sit back down and finish our drinks. I've no doubt there were just some crossed wires however, and no ill will was intended, but it did ever so slightly sour the meal.
It certainly wouldn't stop me from coming back again, I would just like a few minutes next time to allow the delicious meal to settle. Highly recommend this place.
P. R.
Vada Pav was nice, imho close to authentic 🙂 Pav Bahji was ok and damn spicy! Chilli Paneer also nice. Dhaba Style Chicken didn't really feel Indian, and in general I think that small kababs are better than that.
W. C. Y.
Amazing food. Service was good but didn't need to keep asking if the food was good every few minutes (asked around 5 times). It was however freezing and everyone was wearing coats inside.
G. F.
Had a great meal here this evening at a very decent price. Great quality food, friendly and attentive staff, what more can you ask for
M. S.
Love this place, great tasting Indian street food, starters are amazing!! 👍
k. m.
We have dined here a couple of times and can honestly say its the best and truly authentic indian food we have had
It will open your eyes to traditional i dian food , nice staff too.
S. B.
Fantastic customer service from Kunal, Andrea, Patricia and team, great food, clean and tidy facilities.
M. P.
Nice place with good atmosphere. Attentive staff and great curries. Will bring my other half next time!
k. M.
Great food, different spices to what I'm normally used to. Would visit again...
E. B.
Absolutely amazing food, excellent service and very kind and friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
A. Y.
The food taste so good that we would not mind driving 1.5 hours to come here again. I forgot what I ordered but it was delicious. And my wife enjoyed her tossai too! The restaurant looks amazing and the staff were friendly. Recommended.
J. J.
The starters, chaat items and dosas are all really good and reasonably priced. However the mains seem overpriced in comparison, in particular for the quantity of curry given.
C. H.
Fusion style Indian, very progressive and a fresh change of scenery compared to most Indian restaurants. Would go again!
J.
Excellent Indian food! Wonderful atmosphere and decor. I felt I was eating really authentic Indian food, my server went through the menu and explained what was on offer and made me some recommendations. The staff were friendly and ensured I enjoyed my stay.
I visited with a work colleague, and I would recommend the restaurant in all scenarios i.e. dates, professionally, friends and family meals. Thank you for making my visit to Leeds more enjoyable.
M. M.
Pleasent staff. Nice atmosphere. Had the Mysore Masala Dosa - pretty authentic. Sev puri good as well.
B. K.
Lovely opportunity to try new and delicious dishes😋😋
M. D. H.
Fantastic food, one of my favourite places to eat in Leeds.
B. H.
Despite eating out on "freedom day" (19th July), we were relieved to see that screens were still in place at tables and that staff were wearing face masks. The waiters were lovely and friendly and happy to explain the menu to us. We received regular top-ups of water (much needed with the scorching weather and very spicy food!).
The spice levels were way too hot for my palette, but that's not necessarily a bad thing for some so I certainly can't score lower because of this!
Overall, a lovely welcoming dining experience with delicious (and HOT in both senses of the word!) food.
K. P.
ITR has always been my favourite since day one. I am from Maharashtra India and it's very hard rather impossible to find Maharashtrian taste. ITR definitely helped me kill my homesickness.
Must try ❤️
A. B.
1. Ambience being it's selling point, I could not really enjoy it because they added additional tables in the walkway.
2. Service was good and prompt.
3. Food was really tasty but portion size was small.
4. Last order had some issues probably because kitchen was about to close (we did not complain though).
V. G.
Authentic Indian food both south Indian and north Indian. Loved the ambience and the food. Will keep going. Once of the restaurants that very close to my heart
I. A.
Food was good
Lamb Nali Nihari was delicious.
Area is hi fi so price are lil higher than average

Nice food great staff fantastic atmosphere.. definitely recommend it
D. J.
Good place, good Indian food
S. J. (.
My son and I went here to eat tonight. Pleasantly surprised after a favourable recommendation. Excellent south Indian vegetarian cuisine and with spice, not bland as usual for 🇬🇧 palate's. Best Dosa's ever tasted and very reasonable prices and staff friendly and helpful. A must try for great Indian food in Leeds.
D. G.
Authentic Indian food, the quality and service is fantastic. I recommend this restaurant unreservedly! Thank you ITR
M. D.
Ambience, Theme, Background music is ❤, but the portion size is very small also the taste is below average.
T. D.
Great food and service. Went in our lunch hour and had plenty of time. It was surprisingly quiet on a Friday afternoon. The menu has a good range of traditional main meals, street food style dishes and sharing plates
R. M.
Delicious meal, loved the selection and being able to choose small dishes, sharing platters and larger mains.
Everything we had we enjoyed.
The restaurant was clean and not over crowded so felt safe
The staff were friendly and helpful, explaining the menu well and recommending the best dishes for us, even recommending cocktails.
The food arrived quickly.
We would recommend and will be returning.
A. D.
Quick service, reasonably priced and tasty food.
There is a lot of new items added onto the menu too and some of them definitely are worth trying.. of the things we tried on our visit, Idly was just okay, but okra fries and Gobi Manchurian were good. There is loads to pick and choose from and I am sure you will be spoilt for choices.
A. v. (.
Hey the staff was super friendly.. I've tried their biriyani and chilli chicken and it was well prepared and packed for delivery.
S. F.
The best Indian food Ive had so far the food tastes what it actually tastes in India so authentic.would recommend this place .
J. P.
Lovely restaurant with great concept. Staff are friendly and attentive. All food worth tyring with contemporary setting.
V. D.
Loved the food and service. Will definitely visit again.
T. A.
Absolutely epic food, awesome atmosphere and brilliant service. Highly recommended!
D. A.
I’m usually a Korma wuss but about the mildest thing I could see was the Chicken Tikka Masala… well, it BLEW MY FRICKIN’ HEAD OFF! I think the general consensus of the party was that the food tends towards being hotter than you find in a lot of places… but still delicious. Just misses out on 5 stars from me because they don’t seem to cater for milder tastes instead they seem to be focused on a purely authentic menu. Not a bad thing… but not for everyone.
A. H.
Tasty drinks, okra fries were pretty good but should be served with some kind of sauce. We were disappointed though with a prawn masala as it only had a couple of prawns for a high price and wasn’t that good as it sounded. Chickpea masala was just fine but the puff bread it comes with was great.
I didn’t like the tables and chairs - it wasn’t comfortable at all. It was awful to sit on the downstairs area and see people sitting comfortably in the booth sofas. Overall I’d have to say the food is a bit too expensive for what it is.
G. K.
Great service and nice food especially starters. A mix of Indian flavours.
M. S.
It was my first visit and I loved their food. Also I was surprised to see many Britishers were also there who were eating spicy food. It was my friends bday party and she selected INDIAN TIFFIN ROOM and booked in advance. Everything was clean be it lobby area or washroom. Waiters were very humble and were coming after intervals if we needed anything. The price of food was reasonable and I ordered for starters sahi puri, for mains chicken haddi biryani, and for desert rasmalai. I really loved their food. If anyone of INDIAN TIFFIN ROOM is reading this review, it's was my pleasure to come and dine in here. THANK YOU SO MUCH 😊🙏🏻 💖
D. E.
Nice food and atmosphere but waited ages to be served and then there was 15 mins between my and my partners starter being served.
Didn't get any follow up after Main course.
Go for the food as it is well worth it but not the service in other words.
A. L.
Fantastic restaurant. Great variety of interesting and tasty dishes. We had excellent service too. Will definitely be returning soon
R. D.
We've been planning a birthday meal for a group for some while and all communications and planning has been excellent. We arrived early on Sat night and everything was explained to us and they allowed us to tinker on the night. The food and hospitality was first class, making for a very memorable night. Special mention to whoever looked after us on the night.
Cannot recommend this place highly enough.
g.
Very nice food nice atmosphere good service would go again and fully recommend others to go.
k. v. r.
The word authentic best suits for this place. It's like right from my street, had a good Indian food after ages.
Customer service was fab the guy had taken care of everything and made sure I'm comfortable.
Food is awesome couldn't try many items but I'll keep visiting for sure.
J. H.
Food, service, and value were all fantastic.
M. I.
Excellent place to eat. Very good food and service in the middle of the Leeds city centre.
P. S.
Amazing service and delicious food.
This place had the best peshwari naan I have ever tasted. If Michelin stars were based on a peshwari naan, this place would be a three!
#peshwari naan

Hey that was fun!! Food was quirky, yummy, a whole adventure! Taste Indian Street food if you can't sneak in a trip to Mumbai anytime soon! Ladies serving were very helpful and the head bobbling girl was just adorable! ☺️ Just go, be a good egg!
p. g.
Very good but if you want extremely spicy it's a no I had to ask for more chills but good customer service

By far the best Indian food in Leeds. Definitely worth a try!!
A. G.
A much needed spoke in Leeds Gastronomy Hub. ITR offers delicious and beautiful dishes from all over India. To top that, they have done creative offerings in drinks as well. I was so full that didn't get chance to try desserts which I am sure will be yummy.
A must visit place in Leeds.
Recent update:
The appetizers and main course was delicious as always. Bit disappointed with desserts.
K. O.
Lovely food, very close to the Indian street food. The Pav Bhaji, Vada pav and keema pav are so lovely. Love this place.
S. R.
Good indian food with nice ambience and plenty of space to support current restrictions..
B. P. (.
Food is not good as it used to be. Do the chefs taste any of the food before serving? 2 out of 4 dishes were less than acceptable. Fiery chicken was nowher near fiery and the chicken was just boiled chicken thrown in. No taste.
A. D.
We will never get the authentic Indian food taste... Outside India
O. T.
Chana Bhatura, rasmalai was nice but cheese chilli dosa didn't had any cheese in it which was upsetting, panipuri water was not the actual pani of pani puri but just the jaljerra water, sev puri was ok, samosa chaat was soggy..
E. H.
Delicious food and the loveliest staff. Felt like being back in India, it was so authentic. We'll definitely be back.
D. P.
Great food at very reasonable prices.
Menu caters for everyone which is authentic Indian
Great Service with a smile from Pankaj & the other staff there.
C. M.
A modern twist of an Indian restaurant, fresh and bright inside with lots of window seating.
The menu is varied and in my opinion, it's best to order 2 of the small plates per person rather than ordering a larger main. It's more than enough food that way!
Personal preference, I stuck to the vegetarian menu as I don't eat Halal food.
The fish kebab is unbelievable, a must order item!
The Old Fashioned drink with the Indian twist was awesome.
The food and drink must have been good, as I didn't remember to take a photo! 😂
I will be visiting again when I'm in next in Yorkshire.
L. T. E.
Would have been 5 stars if we got our booked table on time (25 minute wait)
M. P.
Quick Service and tasty food, shame does now have access for prams and wheelchairs
B. M.
Busy, but a lovely curry, good service and reasonable prices.
A. S.
Good indian flavoured food with awesome bar and authentic indian drinks. Good management and service..
N. A.
Great restaurant that's different to typical Indian restaurant. The dosas and chaats were delicious. The rice and curries were also nice but a bit on the small side. For the prices paid I think this place could be a bit more generous wit their portions. The staff were great and the interior is quirky. I think this place is probably better suited to dates, quick bites or friends catching up. Recommend
D. L.
Lovely meal but those home made Samosas to date have been the best I have ever tasted. Not the normal run if the mill ones.
If you go try them...
J. P.
Lovely food, different menu than your usual Indian Restaurant. Would recommend.
A. D.
Great ambience. Authentic street food and curries
A. A.
Butter chicken was good
A. G.
Really good tasting food and one of the few places in thr UK that serves Chole Bhature with proper Indian tasting Bhature, it is expensive as well though and they have discou ti ued the Thali that used to be available on the menu earlier.
S. A.
Amazing food and ambience
H. H.
Its my first visit to this newish establishment. I went on a staff dinner. The decor was class & the music and atmosphere great. It was extremely busy indeed which I guess was a good sign although food took a bit longer also a good sign was that there were many Asians dining too and they must know a good curry house. The food and service was exceptional we were compensated for our little wait. 5 stars for sure
M. M.
Beautiful cocktails and lovely street food 😍
S. R.
Great Indian street food served in a comfortable setting. The dosa was superb!
S. V.
A good dinner eating okra fries, bhel puri, sev puri and main courses. Overall a good experience.
C. B.
Best place and best taste💓💓💐👍🏻 amazing delicious Indian taste food..❤
J. M.
The starters were really nice, wish I could say the same about the main course it was watery and bland. Probably won't be visiting again anytime soon.
R. A.
A bit pricey but really nice. Recommend the masala dosa.
D. S.
I've only been once, but I will be going again. Already a contender for my favourite Indian restaurant. The menu is very different from a typical Indian, with lots of small dishes, with so many great flavours and tastes.
The staff are really helpful, giving advice on what you may like, which we took and wow, amazing.
Great atmosphere and very reasonable prices. Why wouldn't you try it out?
d. p.
Lovely staff, great service and good food.
J. K.
Fantastic food and nice ambience. Have good vegan and vegetarian options.
k. c.
Food is good..but quantity is less as compared to price.
R. S.
Yummy food, nice ambience. Liked all the items on the menu. Highly recommended to all curry lovers. Must visit if you are in Leeds
p. b.
Great indian food quality as per UK.
S. E. D.
Indian Tiffin Room in Leeds is a great place to have some good Indian food. There is a huge variety to choose from. The cocktails are fantastic. The food is of very high quality and tasty. I enjoyed the Mysore coffee with a Mysore Dosa. The restaurant is well decorated and spacious.
The prices are very reasonable and the portions are good. The staff are very kind and helpful. You are well taken care of from the time you get in to the moment you leave.
I recommend a visit to this place.
Always reserve as you can end up not getting a table. Parking is a problem, find where you can park before you leave so that you do not have to go round and round to find a parking.

J. N.
Amazing food and the waiter we had was impressively knowledgeable about Indian cuisine and the geography of the same. Splendid spot and will be back!
I. C.
Amazing food, lovely restaurant. The waiting time for food was a bit long but as it was busy, we didn't mind the wait.
Highly recommend the Masala dosa and pani puri platter
P. D.
You can find delicious Indian food here ..cost effective..
A. A. S.
One of the most authentic Indian cuisines I have experienced in recent times. More of a Central/ South Indian taste. A very refreshing experience. The only negative point is that the tables are quite small. But the food more than makes up for it. Will be going back for sure.
j. p.
2nd visit to ITR ..
Awesome place .. good ambience, mouth watering food.. evening well spent!
O. C.
Prompt service, polite staff and delicious food. Couldn’t ask for more. Definitely get the sweet Lassi.
p. p. S.
We ordered dosa and soft tails and they are brilliant. The service is quick and they are very friendly. 5 out 5 will order again
N. E.
Ordered a delivery from here via CityGrab. The food was absolutely delicious, great authentic flavours, great amount of spice. One of the best Indians I've had in a long time. Highly recommend.
D. B.
Great food and service with a refreshingly different menu.
T. D.
Fantastic food! The christmas Thali menu is sooo good! And much more filling than it looks.
J. H.
Friendly and good indian food.
U. A.
Excellent food. Fantastic service and such an authentic feel to the place. All the staff are lovely. Even the chefs are haply to have a natter. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal
L. B.
Excellent food and Service food expensive but worth it x
U. V.
I must say it's one of the best indian restaurant in Leeds..The food is so fresh and sooo delicious. Last but not least staff is soo helpful and polite. I highly recommend to visit this restaurant and have a lovely and wonderful time. Beautiful decor and ambience.
R.
Great food and even better cocktails!
R. H.
Really tasty, authentic Indian food just like I used to eat when I was young. Nice, luxurious, loud but warm atmosphere, just like India ;) prices and portions are fair, service was good and delicious drinks too. Highly recommend, looking forward to my next visit!
B. M.
Good food, friendly service, excellent atmosphere, great for veg and non veg meals. Best Indian 🇮🇳 Restaurant with drinks bar, good choice and selection of alcohol and non alcohol drinks we HIGHLY RECOMMEND Indian tiffin room go and try it We had great experience and excellent evening too. WELL DONE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK to all the staff who have made this restaurant greater. I only wish I could give more that 10star.
H. B.
I often find myself craving the curries from here. I can hands down say these are close to home cooked, traditional curries. I love the thaal experience, takes me back to eating curry with my family. The restaurant is lovely and staff are so sweet. Would 100% recommend.
W.
My favorite Indian restaurant! I have been to many Indian restaurants in London and Leeds but tiffen room is my favorite. The food has so much flavor, the design is lovely and staff are friendly. If you are going on the weekend i would advise to book as it gets very busy.
L. N.
Have been here a few times, usually with big groups and can say that there's never been a fault. The food has always been very tasty and the service has also been very good and attentive. I'd recommend anyone who likes Indian to visit this place at least once. The atmosphere is cozy and the booths are really comfortable to sit at :)
H. A.
Went there twice.
I found most of the dishes too spicy, even when I asked for the dishes to be not spicy, I was informed that most of the food is prepared beforehand and the degree of spices cannot always be changed.
Service was quick, however, there is room for the staff to be more friendly and welcoming.
The appetizers were good especially the dahi puri.
If I were to ever go back again it would be for the appetizers only.
C. D.
Food was awesome but the service was a bit manic. A lot of staff seeming to start one task but being pulled by someone else to do something else.
H. B.
Food good but not excellent. Some staff quite unfriendly
K. B.
Went for the first time and had lunch, got the dish with a little bit of different curries to try. The decor was lovely and we had a nice booth by the window. The Waiter was AMAZING and had so much knowledge of all of the dishes and ingredients. I have special dietary requirements and he was extremely understanding and changed the dish to suit what I needed. The food came out extremely quickly and when it did, another Waitress came and thoroughly explained what each dish was and the fact it came with a starter and desert too, she was very informative but didn't talk for too long as to keep us from eating. The food was delicious and there wasn't anything at all that I didn't like (even though I'm usually quite a fussy eater). To say it only cost £8.50, it was a large portion but not too much to make you feel uncomfortable after. Will 100% be returning!
P. P.
The food was amazing especially the drinks and I loved the decor!
O. P.
Nice food and ambiance. Good service. I took a random meal and it was really nice. But navigating through the menu is puzzling, the meals are not described well and there is not even an indication which ones are vegetarian, let alone something else. They were a bit overzealous offering us deserts or something else, makes you feel rushed to wrap things up once you finished the main.
L.
We've been a few times now to Tiffin Room, consistently amazing food and service. Best Indian in Leeds and one of our favourite places to eat.
Try the kokum fish curry!
S.
More expensive than I'd expected, but excellent excellent food nonetheless. Probably the best service we've had since coming to the UK.
Colorful, vibrant space. A lot of families with small children. Don't be deterred by the big staircase if you're bringing a pram, they are very helpful in getting you in and out and letting you know your children/babies are welcome.
j. m.
Had high hopes for this place, however my experience with the food was underwhelming unfortunately. I went during the evening so I ordered from the dinner menu. The Parsi lamb was overpowered with cardamom, and the South Indian fish curry was very average tasting. The drinks on the other hand were really nice, especially the rose and lemon. I will go back again as I have heard good things about the lunch thali menu, however my experience of food from the dinner menu was quite average. I have to say though, the staff are really lovely and the decor is incredible.
C. A.
Excellent food and superb service.
P. B.
Lovely staff and yummy food. Different menu selection to the usual curry you'd get elsewhere, really recommend.
L. Y.
This was alright. The 3 stars indicate nothing good, nothing bad. Leeds are great on Indian food, and I just felt that while this was tasty enough, it wasn't as good as many other Indian restaurants that have less hype
R. O.
Excellent Value - Halal, Deco, Service.
B. T.
Delicious and authentic!
K. B.
Really authentic food, good prices and decent portion sizes.
P. B.
Lovely staff and yummy food. Different menu selection to the usual curry you'd get elsewhere, really recommend.
S. B.
We had a wonderful family day out and the food was exceptionally delicious for our taste buds 😋
M. W.
Veggie or vegan delights. Yum, yum, yum (meat options also available)... and while your at it treat yourself to a cocktail 🍸(oooo they're epic)
A. G.
Really good tasting food and one of the few places in thr UK that serves Chole Bhature with proper Indian tasting Bhature, it is expensive as well though and they have discou ti ued the Thali that used to be available on the menu earlier.
S. C.
Food was delicious and the service prompt. Nice surroundings and not overly priced for a city centre restaurant.
P. C.
Staff very attentive and helpful with the menu but I have had better Indian food
j. c.
Absolutely superb and friendly staff 👌
M. H.
Excellent food and great service
K. W.
Lovely street food ,first class service, will be going again.
I. C.
Amazing food, lovely restaurant. The waiting time for food was a bit long but as it was busy, we didn't mind the wait.
Highly recommend the Masala dosa and pani puri platter
A. V.
Taste of food was great . It was pure authentication Indian taste. Please keep it mind that there are different menu on Lunch and Dinner. So you might want to check menu before (In case, you have option to either go for lunch or dinner). It was good for vegetarians as well.
Y. R.
Lovely food, and a great atmosphere - neither wildly formal or casual, a great point in-between.
The only reason for the missing star is that we wound out hanging around the door for longer than I'd like as there's no easy eyeline to either the bar staff or the body of the restaurant for someone to come and seat you. Alongside that, service was mildly slow (nothing egregious though).
A touch expensive, but all in all I'll likely be coming back.
S. Y.
Visited for the first time tonight, and wow!!! Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was amazing. What a taste experience. Will definitely be going back 😃
T. G.
last night was our first time we came to that restaurant. But It is definitely not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the attentive service, with the first-rate cooking and fine drinks and with the friendly price. We will definitely come back in a short time.
K. m.
Fantastic south Indian Street food, dhosas are amazing. Much more authentic and tasty than "normal Indian" restaurants.
M. P.
The best Indian food I ever had in the UK. Loved the spiced lassie (chas) - it tasted same as my grandma used to make back in india (sweet memories!). We ordered baingan (brinjal) and dal tarka with three naans to share among 3 adults. all the dishes tasted superb - no bits left. the only downside to our experience was over 40mins wait we had to do despite reserving a table in advance. but we didn't mind that after having our food. will definitely visit again when in Leeds.
K. M.
Thought it would be more exciting. The food came out warm and special lamb briyani was almost cold. Pani Puri was very bland. I'm not trying to be over critical, just wanted management know about my experience. Also staffs need to deal with angry customer discreetly as no one wants to hear customer rants while they are waiting for food !!!
J. S.
Nice happening place for youngsters, very busy so insisted to order everything at once. Very noisy. Food was not upto the mark.
A. P.
Excellent, delicious Indian street food. Not many places in Yorkshire with this type of food & quality. There is prashads but I feel prashads is very expensive and portions are small. Here reasonable price for Leeds City centre and portion are good. Good deco and friendly staff and service. Few steps to climb so not sure on their disable access. Will be going again.
C. P.
Blown away. The new Kokum curry is amazing! Some of the best Indian I've had in a long time. Well worth it! Book in advance, this place is packed at dinner time.
T. R.
This place was recommended by my brother and a work colleague. If i could give 7 stars i would. Excellent service, food, decor and even the classic indian instrumental music. Great vibe. Would highly recommend it. Nalli nihari was authentic AF!
K. T.
This was our first time eating Indian food that wasn’t your typical curry and naan. We absolutely loved it the waiter was so helpful in explaining the menu for us. The atmosphere was lovely . Will definitely be back.
S.
The food was amazing, the atmosphere was just the way you'd want it to be when you're relaxing and eating, it's great for office dinners or just casual meetings. The staff were really friendly and made sure we felt comfortable!
S. C.
Food was delicious and the service prompt. Nice surroundings and not overly priced for a city centre restaurant.
t.
It’s pretty average
Found the starter (cauliflower dish) had way too much sauce on that masked any flavour of the cauliflower and was obviously full of salt and sugar.
Veg biryani as main dish was decent, but nothing special.
Feels like a chain that serves mass-produced food.
However at least there’s a dedicated vegan menu!
S. H.
I've visited the ITR on a couple of occasions. It has authentic indian food with great customer service. I would recommend ordering indvidual things from menu rather than the thali. The chicken biryani was delicious. All halal which is a definite win.
A. A.
Felt same as being in India. They have delicious cuisines and very kind staff. Recommended
M.
After dining here last night, I had to leave a review. Tiffin room excels with its service compared to other south Asian restaurants. Being vegan with friends and family who only eat halal meats- tiffin room is the perfect place to accommodate both diet requirements. The food is tasty, presented well and inventive. Prices are very reasonable considering it’s in the heart of the city. Defiantly the best Indian streeet food in Leeds!
M. Z.
Good Indian food. The menu is simple and you have many vegetarian options. The naan selection is also good. The cocktails need a shake up though.
T. R.
Really nice decor inside and the food was brilliant. The sharing starter had a big of everything and was very tasty. For started the butter chicken dish was delicious, and surprisingly the dhaal was even more-ish. Parking is on streets close by but q park and NCP are 5 mins away. Was so nice we went the next week as well.
B.
Brilliant food, value for money and welcoming friendly service. One of the waiters especially was incredibly friendly and helpful. I wish we got his name.
C. S.
Excellent food quality and hospitality service
A. K.
Great food and good guys too
S. B.
Good food, good price. The menu can be confusing but don't be afraid to ask for help/recommendations the staff are very accomodating. This food is more exciting than a run of the mill curry and perfect for groups of mixed vegetarians and meat eaters.
P. C.
Staff very attentive and helpful with the menu but I have had better Indian food
V. P.
Service and people was nice and polite. lots of variety food on offer. So many vegetarian items to choose from . Tasty food and any time I can go there . welcoming staff who explain the cocktail menu .
N. K.
Tasty Indian food served in English style with politeness.
P. C.
I really can't recommend this place enough, there really isn't another Indian restaurant as good in Leeds. Their menu is fantastic, everything we ordered was really tasty, we really couldn't fault the food at all, it truly is authentic Indian food. The service, atmosphere and decor are great. I'll certainly be visiting again soon.
A. H.
Lovely food. Very nice atmosphere, good lunch menu. However not flexible at all when we asked to swap a couple of items when we ordered, not even if we paid extra!
I. C.
Not your usual curry house. Well worth a visit good food
E. D.
Really tasty thali and fantastic breads. Very much enjoyed
H. F.
Enjoyed a authentic Indian meal. The server Kunal was very professional and informative on the dishes. Kept the kids entertained and very interactive. Spot ON.
P. N.
One of the best Indian meals I've had. Absolutely fantastic food and service. Tried several starters and mains with friends and all agreed that the food was really good.
L. M.
Absolutely gorgeous food. The only issue was the menu was confusing, it was hard to tell if what you were ordering was supposed to be a starter a main or a side. That said the food we ordered was perfect.
s. o.
Secret treasure in Leeds. Dont expect the normal traditional korma. The menu description looked plan from outside. Upon entering the lovely smell got hold of you. The spices and taste were unbelievable. What a gem.
A. P.
New place open in Leeds with great tasty food staff are very friendly. Deco and ambiance are beautiful. Only bad point is that some of the meals are quite expensive considering the portion sizes.
S. N.
Nice place for Indian food. Service was quick.
Mysore coffee was not good
Started and Main course was really nice.
Definitely recommend
L. H.
Visited the Indian Tiffin Room for the first time last week, on the advice of a friend. Some absolutely delicious Indo-Chinese fusion food and a really great range of South Indian dishes too. Plus they offer a separate vegan menu, making life supremely easy for vegans. We particularly loved the Gobi Manchurian (to die for) and the unexpected taste explosion of the Paani Puri. Fabulously decadent decor and super-friendly staff all add together to make this a lovely place to eat. I can 100% recommend a visit if you are in Leeds.
D. W.
Very interesting, slightly alternative curry house. I found their menu a breath of fresh air from regular curry places. I would 100% return. Also convenient for Central Leeds.
N.
The starters were excellent, we got chilli paneer which were really soft and delicious, with samosa chat and a sharing platter. For mains I got a Lamb Kishmiri with rice and salad. Really authentic, simple indian food. Would definitely reccomend.
P. W.
I love Indian food! Dosa was to die for!
a. v.
Great selection of Indian food. The ambience is good and the service staff are also very friendly. It is located in an easily accessible area in central Leeds
C. T.
Nice and safe ambience, lovely tasty food.
Not too long a wait for the food, the staff were extremely helpful making our choices.
S. B.
We had a wonderful family day out and the food was exceptionally delicious for our taste buds 😋
M. W.
Veggie or vegan delights. Yum, yum, yum (meat options also available)... and while your at it treat yourself to a cocktail 🍸(oooo they're epic)
D. G.
I went to the restaurant and it was already 10 PM and kitchen was closing down but they kindly accepted my order. Service was quick. We ordered samosa chat - it was good but it’s a mixture of bhel puri and samosa. My personal preference i like samosa + savoury + sauses.
Best item was schezwan noodles - it looks quite authentic indian(indo-chino) item and i liked it. It’s spicy so request them to make it less.
Dal makhani - good taste served with rice. I will rate 3 out of 5 for this item.
Its a good competition to Aaghrah & Akhbar which are expensive in Leeds.
I suggest you to go and try.
J. B.
Very yummy food. Lots of choice .
J. B.
Great service, helpful comments from waiters about the menu. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. Enjoyed the different slant on Indian food. Recommend the lassi.
M. D.
Had a lovely meal. Very tasty and the waiter took time to explain the menu to us to ensure that we ordered a meal that would suit our taste and pallette. Would recommend the tiffin room to anyone.
b. w. f.
Loved the food here. If you go there then must try their lamb chops they are out of this world. Vegetarian options are also very good
k. s.
Great ambience and friendly staff. Awesome indian food taste which is most important. Offers variety of indian cusines street food, south india, north indian and chinese with desi twist. There are also good options for mocktails. Not a pure vegetarian restaurant but the staff can clear doubts regarding kitchen etc if required. Happy to eat in a resturant serving tasty indian food.
R. G.
Quite good decor and good food choice and quality. I have thought however it is hyped and not as good as they pretend. Nan not as soft as we find in good restaurants.
s. a.
Best Indian Restaurant in Leeds. I have had Thier Vegetarian Thali, Onion Rava Dosa. Both of them are very tasty. It's must visit for all Indians staying in Leeds. You will love the food out there for sure.
C. R.
The food was excellent, completely different to the usual Indian restaurant fare. The food was cooked to perfection and was full of flavour.
K. H.
Good food and friendly staff
S. A.
Always my favourite place for indian food. Feels like a home ❤
r. a.
I'm wary when I go to Asian restaurants having been to so many and some don't hit the spot. This place the food was Devine. The environment was nice too. Staff were helpful.
W. T.
Try their crispy Masala Dosa and Kingfisher beer. Music could be lowered a notch.
J. P.
Lovely food, great service!
P. S.
Good Indian Street food, could have been Spicer for an Indian palate, though had all the right tastes 👍🏽
D. T.
Delicious authentic indian food. Great service. Good atmosphere. Highly recommend to anyone who wants an Indian traditional experience.
D. R.
Very good indeed. Waiter friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommend
A. F.
This place is an absolute treat. Reasonably priced Indian street food with a real zingy fresh taste and texture. Great for lunch
K. W.
Lovely street food ,first class service, will be going again.
J. P.
The food was really good and staff is also very polite
U. A.
Very nice food and presentation, would definitely recommend for anybody coming to Leeds.
G. K.
Service was excellent. Starters was amazing. Briyani was very nice. Desert was very good. But puri and mini idli was not good. Environment is very nice. Reasonable price.
N. H.
I visited this place and the interior is beautiful, the waiters were super helpful and the food was amazing. I was abit sceptical on ordering the bindi fries but they were actually my favourite! Would definitely recommend this place!
C. L.
Our waiter was fantastic, recommending food to try. The food was great, everything tasted fresh and well cooked. 100% recommend
R. C.
Amazing food like in India
R. W.
Absolutely loved the authentic Indian food. The served was brilliant explaining the dishes, service was fast, the food was excellent and reasonably priced.
S. I.
The food here is awesome. A really good range and very authentic. Staff are excellent and it's good value for money.
A. D.
Very costly compared to the quality and quantity of the food items. I have been other Indian restaurant around, and found this is the costlier than others.
K. C.
Came here for the 1st time for a colleagues leaving meal, the menu is very different from the normal Indian restaurants I've been to before, it was street food to share, I had crushed samosa which was delicious and the prices were very reasonable, I will definately be going back
S. C.
Lovely place for a date. Adventurous cocktails, and interesting and tasty food combinations. Just loved it from the first tasty morsel to the last sip.
L. E.
Very nice food, really accomodating staff, picked up on a birthday without being asked and were really attentive and welcoming. Definitely recommend.
K. C.
Ambience was nice and the staff was courteous but food was just okay. The food could have more flavours. Had chole bhature, Pav bhaji and a bottle of wine
j. p.
Nice place and food. Ordered food was awesome im taste except the roti. Garlic Naan was up to the mark. Quantity wise little bit of issue.
J. K.
Food was ok however main came out very late, everyone elses cam out before, think they just forgot it, they were apologetic about it which was good. There were too many flies around our food and table.
J. J.
Absolutely amazing restaurant. Food and ambience were amazing.
U. S.
It was Friday busy evening, ambiance was amazing, food was delicious, value for money. Staffs were so helpful. Highly recommend this place.
S. S.
Food & service was 5*. Andrea was amazing, she went above and beyond. Highly recommend this place, definitely something for everyone. Will be back!
B. B.
Just get a selection of starters and you won't be disappointed, trust me. Been a couple of times now and booked in to go again. Staff great and even though its been busy each time I've gone the service was excellent
T. A.
One of these new wave “trendy” Indians. Looks good, service good but generally the taste lacks something and you’ll find better at your traditional curry house.
I. D.
Nice food, nice staff and friendly atmosphere. Child friendly too. Not got the ambient feel and they do not sell chips, I know right?!
R. N. A.
Absolutely loved it! The food was so different, so unique! Worth every penny and everythings at a good price. Definitely coming back for more!
A.
Good selection of food; nice decor, family friendly, it's halal too! Paneer and chilli chicken was good, as well as Indian tea and coffee!
f. d.
Great food, friendly staff
S. B.
I just had a lip smacking fried idli from this place and have promised to go back to the place. Highly recommended for Indian food.
a. k.
Good food, dosa & idly not the authentic Indian taste
A. V.
Not the cheapest but great menu. Really good quality food and a wide range of items. Particularly good for vegetarians. Helpful staff.
S. R.
Really nice choice of little plates, but like tapas, be prepared to pay a little more for not a great amount of food. The main courses seemed reasonable prices.. That being said, between 2 we were advised to order 5 smaller plates to share but ordered 6 and didn't finish the masala dosa or the bhindi fry..
Its a nice but casual environment, with staff friendly and approachable and onnl hand to explain the menu..
Great little casual place to eat..
C. R.
Went once on a whim, been back twice in quick succession. Great south Indian food had nothing but great experiences so far.
D. M.
Indian street food with reasonable prices, good service and good beer. Nice place to eat if looking for tea while staying in Leeds.
L. J.
Very friendly staff, particularly nice to our baby, and the food was very good, particularly the starters. Shame they didn't do a mango lassi but the alternative was great!
M. S.
Just had food in the tiffin rooms, service was great, seen straight to as we walked in the doors and our server Andrea was our server and did an amazing job!
P. T.
Excellent restaurant. Great selection on the menu, Staff are friendly and helpful. Good atmosphere.
K. A.
It was the limited eat out to help out menu so the same great quality Indian dishes at a massive discount!
s. P.
Good and delicious food in the city
M. S.
Good Curry and great service
M. H.
Excellent food and great service
R. S.
Four stars only because the service was slow and the Lamb ITR was chewy which was a bit of a shame. Will go again when its not very busy and see if it improves.

Good food, but not any better than the multitude of other Indian High end restaurants about. Food is average for the price.
