D. H.I'll tell you how good Skelton Lake is. We will drive out of our way simply to visit!
In other words, it has become a destination in its own right!!!
With so many popular eateries, it's easy to choose something delicious.
The access is top notch throughout.
The toilets are five star.
I don't have a bad word to say about it!
P. M.Absolutely the best motorway services bar none. It is very way laid out. The amenities are great and the food outlets are varied and reasonably priced mainly. There is a viewpoint as well and lots for the children to do outside. Definitely recommend.
A. B.Loads of your bog standard food options akin to service stations - although don't be fooled by the yellow and red branding all over the site (including staff uniforms) - THERE IS NO MCDONALD'S
One-man-band in Leon, poor guy behind the counter was doing his best but could have done with a hand. Potential customers visibly walking from the queue after a couple of minutes

S. J. W. (. L.Great place to have many choices to eat when everyone wants something different, new complex, plenty of parking. Well positioned when travelling near York and Leeds. Hotel adjoins the restaurants and alfresco seating outside. Bosch sound system inside. Conveniences also.

D. D.Relatively new service station just off the motorway. Lots of fast food places to eat and drink. Avoid Texaco petrol station if possible fuel price was close £2.00 per litre when we visited.
R. C.Loved it. Never been and what a pleasant surprise. Clean and tidy. Very nice. Makes a nice change to give a motorway service station a good review but it deserves one.
S. E.It's expensive as are all service stations. 3 hours free parking. Plenty of food choices and communal sitting areas. Everyone can get what they want and sit together. There is a being deck on the upper level to watch the birds over the lake. The deck is sponsored by the RSPB.
Very clean and tidy. The toilets were immaculate
