Reviews of Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Restaurant and Bar

We've been wanting to try this place for a long time, eventually we got the chance to come and it was excellent!
Lots of fresh tasty food! The menu isn't extensive but it doesn't need to be. There are enough options for you to have the full experience.
There are lots of vegan option and if you like seafood that was great too!
I was totally in blown away by the seafood noodle main dish ( sorry can't remember the name) it was a massive portion but it was soooo nice I had to finish it!
The desert menu has some cool sounding items on there. My partner tried one and it had little tapioca balls with coconut milk she really enjoyed it.
There was only one problem and that's the door bell. The door bell rings and that's for the servers to collect food. It's really off putting, maybe a pager system might be the right way to go?
Thanks for the experience! Definitely be coming back!

Literally just left the place and can't post this review quick enough. The beef rendang was sensational (one of the tastiest dishes I've ever had) with large pieces of beef, unlike a lot of places. The starters were very nice also and the restaurant is lovely and calm inside with courteous young staff who were lovely. 100% going again soon.

Really amazing food. Had some lovely spring rolls and satay chicken with a homemade satay sauce. Nice nice. The Beef Rendang tasted really authentic, rich and beautiful. Seafood laksa is also amazing coconut milk fish broth with really well cook fish. The squid was so tender uuummmm

I went her for the first time with family for my daughters birthday and wedding anniversary. I had a starter which was something i had never tried before. It was tofu which was perfectly cooked on a bed of finely sliced cucumber and beansprouts and topped with tamarind. It was beatifully presented and tasted verrry nice...
My main course which again i cant remember the name of was absolutely divine. It had pieces of chicken breastin a sort of peanutty coconut sauce with other flavours coming through. It was just so beautifully aromatic it stayed with me for hours afterwards.
The staff were also amazing and knowledgeable. They did their utmost to make our evening memorable. Even the owner came over to ensure everything was being done for us.
The prices were also very manageable during these trying times.
I would definately go here again to try something from their gorgeous menu.

Came for the Jazz evening and it was great. Lovely music whilst eating delicous Malaysian cuisine. It was all absolute gorgeous and the staff were lovely too. Also worked out for us as it was 2 for 1 cocktails that night too which were all delicious! Can't wait to come back and try more.

Kuala Lumpur is definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Horsforth. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, the service is friendly and efficient and most of all, it's a pleasure to eat something made by chef Norman. Whether or not you think you're a fan of Malaysian food, you should definitely give Kuala Lumpur a chance. Don't be fooled by the empty tables at the front- in the back is a lively atmosphere and good quality dishes.

Quality of food In here is second to none and prices are reasonable. Malaysian food isn't something I had known before trying kuala Lumpur but it is well worth a go. This is the second time I have been and I have tried a couple of different curry's. The flavours are strong but those I have tried are not too spicy but flavoursome. The staff are always excellent and it has a very chilled vibe to it.

We’d walked past this place a few times and I’m glad we finally ventured in. The menu has good selection of dishes and the food was tasty and cheap given the portion sizes. They had an extensive cocktail list, which included some interesting Pride specials when we visited in June. I had a mai tai and they certainly did not scrimp on the alcohol! Service was friendly and fast. Worth a visit.

I strongly recommend Tapas Tuesday. We have enjoyed a delicious meal, exceptional service and excellent value for money. We have dined there several times and I cannot fault the food, service or atmosphere. Congratulations to the entire team.
