A.popped in for some lunch in between jobs and had some proper nice homemade grub! they had a lovely looking range of desserts as well but unfortunately i didn't have time to try one. also, i didn't go out back but it sounds like they have a really nice dining area out there for a sunny day. if i was local, i'd be here all the time.
K. A.Nice little friendly cafe, enjoyable food, I had the breakfast stuffer! And it certainly was, nice tea in the pot with enough for two and a half cups lol, pleasant atmosphere with approachable and friendly staff, as a visitor and non local I enjoyed it!
S. K.Coffee very average, beef and potato pie very nice. Friendly staff however there is no emphasis on hygiene here. Everything is handled with bare hands. Salad, meat, bread and cash all with bare hands. Can only imagine the germs on the coins and notes.
I tried this place because Crusties down the road have no hygiene either. Come on Sherburn, we're not in the 70s!

H. C.I have ordered a multitude of different things from Pennys on a number of occasions and have been impressed each and every time. The sandwiches are made with lovely fresh products. The takeaway breakfasts are the best!!! The krispie cake is amazing!!! Penny makes the most wonderful designs with cakes and cupcakes for any occasion and they taste amazing too. Great prices and a fantastic service.

This week I ordered a Gluten Free Cake for my wife, well what can I say the cake made her day, it was stunning, could have won Bake-off it was that good.
C. A.We used Penny’s deli to cater for my son’s 3rd birthday. My son is digger mad and Penny made a perfect digger cake which made my little boy so happy, it was amazing! Penny made all the food and it was delicious, so fresh and such variety. We will definitely be using Penny again for future functions. I couldn’t recommend it enough.
