We had a family meal to celebrate a 50th and 18th birthday at the Beulah. There was 14 of us including 1 dog. The Beulah is a gorgeous place, reasonable price and has a lovely little added bonus of a quirky little shop with some beautiful items in. The food was amazing. What really made it for us was the staff. Honestly, nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel like VIPs. Very attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Thank you to the Beulah staff for making our time there a great time.

Quite a quirky place really really. Enjoyed the food the steak sandwich was delicious. Service was very good too with pleasant staff. The place could have been a little warmer but I'd definitely go again.

I had the poached eggs on toast, others with me had an omelette, a full breakfast and a veggie breakfast. The eggs were a bit vinegary and the toast was disappointing, a single slice cut very thin for 2 poached eggs. The veggie breakfast had "sausages" made out of vegetables, which looked cheap and unappetising. That's a shame because there are so many good options available now. The other two had no complaints but I thought the omelette looked burnt. We had one unusual order and this was done to absolute perfection.

Great place to have a birthday party .or any other occasion for that matter. Recently had my 60th party there for around 48. Gorgeous buffet, which was to a high standard. Lovely atmosphere in the pub . I also hired a DJ from them who was good.staff friendly and hard working. Definitely recommend this pub for a special occasion.

We didn't book but were seated quickly no problem by a friendly waiter. We ordered two rare roast beef dinners. The meat was a bit fatty and chewy but not bad. The roasts were ok but not great. All the veg was very nice and fresh. Nice Yorkshire pudding's. Two roasts and two pints for £30. 7 out of 10. If you're not a fan of screaming shouting children and dogs it won't be for you. It didn't bother us.

On entering Beulah, you are greeted by an eclectic mix of artefacts. The skilled chef prepares taditional British cuisine with a twist, that is cooked to perfection and served with a smile! Leodis coffee is a treat for any coffee connoisseurs with a finely tuned pallet. I look forward to out next visit!

Really nice food, great atmosphere, friendly service. I had the burger with black pudding and a pork steak on it! A bit strange to have pork steak on it and hard to eat as the bun didn’t have much stamina. Posh fries with truffle and Parmesan nice. Sticky toffee pudding was tasty but quite dry needed a lot more sauce. But I would certainly visit again.

Sunday breakfast. It was very busy, we didn’t book but a table for two was available. Quite noisy as there were a few large groups of people but the food was excellent. Lots of friendly and very helpful staff. My omelette (made without salt) was the best tasting and fluffiest that I have ever had! I am looking forward to my next visit.

Veggie sausages and veg isn't a Sunday dinner and defo not worth £13. Running out of nutroast by 3pm is a poor effort with veggies and vegans being pretty common nowadays. I cook veggie food 7 days a week, and i dont need to involve quorn or any of that rubbish at all. It's a piece of cake. I dont understand why eating establishments struggle with it so much. Get sweet potato, coconut and chilli short crust pasties, or mushroom Wellington on your Sunday menu or something interesting for us non meat folk- it goes nice with brocolli and the other typical roast dinner stuff, and tbh meat eaters will appreciate something different too. I must add, the regular menu that I've eaten at the Beulah does get a thumbs up. Shame sundays are always a let down at 9/10 places.

This was the first time our family of 4 had been out for a meal since COVID-19. From entering the establishment we were made to feel comfortable and safe. The staff were lovely, our details were taken for track and trace, plenty of hand sanitizer around. Staff were very stringent with general hand hygiene requirements. Came here today unexpectedly with our dog and what a find. Lovely coffee and cake served and a very warm welcome. Stayed for for lunch and the food is lovely, freshly cooked. Couldn't ask for a more friendly service. We had to find somewhere to go for 5 hours in the pouring rain while our exhaust system replaced and these guys so helpful. 10 out of 10😊 thankyou.

Stopped here for breakfast and I have to say it’s a very good place to go. It’s always difficult to find a good cooked breakfast that’s not a chain or not greasy. This old pub provides a good atmosphere and it’s been combined with a shop. Draught beers and bottled beers are still available if you want one with lunch later. Prices are good.

The service was good the main meal was nice but the desserts was a massive let down for the price of them I had the brownie and it was literally a brownie with some marshmallows on no ice cream no sauce not even warmed up slightly my partner had the banoffee pie and it was a (frozen) tartlet base that with tinned caramel sauce on it and squirty cream for the price I was expecting higher quality and better presented desserts for it sorry I don't have any photos

It has drastically changed over the years and has now become a very fancy, low price, pub that is like a Michelin Star restaurant with great deals and incredibly tasty food all with the extra of large portions. Drinks are very special and carefully selected with carefully selected and crafted alcohols. I would highly recommend this and would actually give this a 6th star.

The new look is ace. A revamped bar is selling a better range and the food is really good. Various items adorn the walls and are for sale. You can even buy a new bathroom! I thought it was the poshest pub toilet I had ever seen with a bath and shower until I realised it was a showroom. Get yourself over to visit.

I love the Beulah, it's lots of childhood memories & was pleased it has been given new life. Breakfasts are very good &, well priced. They do other meals too but not tried evenings yet. It's licenced if you do. Combined with the eating is a bathroom showroom with a good range of quality displays, also do kitchens. There is also gift shop selling all sorts. It's well worth a visit go for a coffee &, browse, pretty sure you will be tempted to eat there too. Good parking just be wary of cars on the bend on Tong Rd, better to use the 2nd entry / exit it's quieter.

The Chicken Sunday roast today, was unbelievably good. Every piece of food on the plate, was absolutely spot on. The Yorkshire pudding, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes and the chicken was lovely and soft. Not to forget the Ice cream sundae, for pudding. Not only is the food lovely, but the staff are very pleasant and helpful. A warm atmosphere, down to earth place. 5 out of 5 for sure.
