One of the best pizza places I’ve ever been to that beats places like Italy, New York - USA.
The venue just on Main Street - Rothwell. Has a excellent car park only 1/2 mins away.
It’s kept the building original features and is very cosy, however the tables are well spread out and not on top of each other.
There’s a really good atmosphere and vibe in the place as soon as you walk in. Mind your head going upstairs (top tip).
Service was excellent, swift order for food & drinks. Which was served probably about 10-12 mins later.
Even though the team were a member down you wouldn’t of notice.
The food (the important bit) you get the wow factor when your food arrives. Seriously filled the table! I had a Neapolitan pizza, wife calzone and daughter child’s pizza.
We had to take a box home as we were very full. The quality of the pizza was fantastic, the wood burning oven makes the difference and the ingredients and dough are up there as the best you’ll get.
It also does gluten free dough/pizza’s
The menu is small, however this isnt a bad thing as there is plenty of choices including starters etc.
Excellent beer choices too.

B. H.Best meal out we've had in ages. The arancini and nduja dough balls were to die for and the pizza was excellent as always. Wood Fire Dine just keeps getting better - the great food is complemented by friendly attentive service and a cozy setting. We're fortunate that this is right on our doorstep but I wouldn't hesitate to travel for this amazing pizza.

One of the best pizzas I’ve tried! I like how big and rustic the building is and the lighting’s really nice too!
We ordered our food at 7:20 but didn’t arrive until 8:10. They did have 3 large tables to serve before us, and unfortunately only 1 pizza oven. It was at least 30degC in there too.
But when the food came it was amazing! I can see why they’ve been winning awards!

Didn’t realise how big this place was until we went in. Nice atmosphere and very helpful and friendly staff.
Went with my hubby, daughter and her fiancée and his daughter for tea. Was quiet at 6:00 but soon got busy, seems very popular and I can see why.
The pizzas were lovely and the sharing platters too. Would definitely recommend this place and will be returning. Hope they have a cushion next time for Isla as they had to give us a folded blanket for her to reach the table. Didn’t stop her eating though 👍🏼
A. B.When my husband and I were looking for somewhere to live near Leeds, we viewed a house in Rothwell and had lunch at WFD after. The dough balls in particular were amazing and it was a small part in us choosing to move here! One pandemic later thank goodness WFD is still going. Great pizza, cocktails, friendly service and a buzzy atmosphere in the evening.
They also run an excellent boarding school for leopard print beanie hats.

Had 3 different types from their menu, I couldn’t fault them. Toppings are all fresh, the dough is really nice and crunchy round the outside just the perfect amount of crisp!! The only downside is their menu choice of pizza, but given how tasty they are I couldn’t possibly mark them down for it.

Staff couldn’t do enough to help. We will definitely be back. If you are in the area give it a go, you won’t be disappointed! We love this local restaurant. A group of us came on Saturday afternoon including 5 kids and 2 babies. We were seated in the private dining room bit which was great as we could relax and not be too worried about the kids being annoying. Service was great and even included a tiny pizza for my 18 month old.

A. C.The price really is worth the quality of dough and ingredients used. You just can't make these at home without a woodfire oven capable of 500-600 degrees. Must try, The big 'aka' is a great NY pizza. The Neapolitan pizzas are spot on aswell.
s.Had a fab night with friends here last night. The owners are very passionate about their pizzas , with ingredients coming from Naples.
The pizzas were all authentic and tasty, the wine and beers were excellent. Reasonably priced, quirky atmosphere. Excellent local restaurant.

S. R.Perfect, traditional pizza, excellent service and a chilled, rustic atmosphere. Pizzas could be served on a flat plate to make them easier to cut but thats really just me nit picking. The pizzas were served within 10 minutes of ordering (I'm guessing due to the traditional wood fired pizza oven) and we couldn't have been happier. Came with the wife and kids on a Tuesday evening. Will definitely be back.

The upstairs dining area is small, rustic and highly inviting. It's such a quirky place that I immediately liked it.
It was quite warm in there, so the proprietor (I presume) gave us both a mini fan each to cool down with. A charming bloke he is too, instantly likeable. The staff, very much the same.
Rothwell has needed an eatery like this for years and coupled with Tobias bar over the road, is hopefully going to shift the trend from Charity shops to more upmarket joints on the main street.
The prices are reasonable and there is also a takeaway service, which we will make good use of 😉.
It's definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend it.

I took my children with me for an evening meal and the man making our pizzas really involved the kids explaining where he got his ingredients and the utensils he was using to make the pizzas.

Friendly service, nice atmosphere and the pizza was delicious and reasonably priced. No parking at the restaurant but you have 2 big car parks within 2 mins walk. I would definitely recommend! 😊👌
A. W.A lovely, rustic setting however the menu is quite limited (there are only around five pizzas and they're all very similar) and the bases were a bit soggy. Still, had a nice evening here and would go again. I do think that the food needs tweaking though.

C.I have previously had a takeaway from Woodfire Dine and was blown away by how nice the pizza was, especially as my partner is celiac and cannot eat gluten (best gluten free pizza he has ever had!). We decided to visit again but sit in the restaurant and it was such an enjoyable experience. The staff were so attentive and accommodating - Izzy our waitress was such a dream and so incredibly friendly. The food was out of this world and, once again, my partner got his pizza fix that he has missed since having to eat a gluten free diet. We will be returning! Thanks so much guys
