10 out of 10 food, cannot say much about their main meals -steaks as I don't like steaks, bit seabass was amazing and desert was just taking food pleasure on new level. Cocktails are tasty too.

Took the hubby for a birthday treat and had a lovely meal. The food was spot on three of us had steak which was cooked exactly as requested. The service was excellent and the server's where great.

Top class destination. Excellent service. Surroundings nice although not sure about plastic trees in restaurant. Real ones would be better. Drinks all good. Nice range and good quality. Food good. We tried the express menu. Starters excellent. My sea bass for main was delicious but husband a little disappointed with the chicken. Desserts excellent too. Would recommend.

Went on Monday afternoon to this beautifully restored building. Had the most amazing fillet steak I, ve ever had in my life. Staff were amazing and tentative. Have booked again for next week. Did Christmas there 2 years ago, not great, because I think they took too much on with 2 sittings but my god, they have sorted themselves out. Totally professional, welcoming, amazing food and I can't wait to get back there. 👍❤️

The 3 members of staff that I met were very nice, pleasant and welcoming. As I was visiting with a neighbour for a drink, at the moment I can only comment on that and the Amstel was ok but I particularly liked the IPA. Will return again and try the food... Food is ok but the menu is very limited. If you're a vegi then don't bother unless you like cooked watermelon. Very nice surroundings though so if that is more important than the food then this is the place for you. They do do a very good coffee.

Excellent food and service all COVID safe with minimum impact on ambience or overall experience. Polite table service. The 'downside' is the location, which although is 'accesible' for wheelchairs, etc., is reached via a driveway through a park with entry and exit via a narrow stone road - one way system in place. However this doesn't greatly impact on the overall experience. Thoroughly recommended

Went here for double b'day celebration restaurant is lovely but the menu is limited and doesn't really cater for vegetarian/vegans which is a shame, however the portions are a little on the small side but are somewhat satisfying 😊

This place is a great find. I was recommended it a while ago and have now been three times for an a la Carte lunch, festive lunch and Sunday lunch. The welcome every time from reception when walking in and the restaurant staff was so warm and friendly. I was blown away by the food each time and it’s a lovely dining room. Josh our waiter so friendly and helpful. Will be coming back again!

My first time at this venue. The meal was delicious food, 1st class service. The ambience was lovely & very relaxing. I will definitely recommend this place. I believe it also caters for Weddings & is a hel. Couldn't think of a more beautiful venue for a wedding. The gardens are immaculate.

Went for Sunday roast, did not disappoint! The food is beautifully cooked and presented, the service is friendly and competent, the staff are properly trained and seem to love what they do! A very pleasant meal indeed. Will return. Price does not surprise me, given the quality you get. Absolutely justified. Keep up the great work.

Was really looking forward to our visit after reading some excellent reviews but, unfortunately was not the experience I was expecting 🤔😥 I'm sure this is due to the covid experience and the limited menu and of course on the day we visited the weather was miserable. Its not deterred us and we will return if not just to have a drink on a beautiful terrace. Can't wait for things to get back to normal ☺️

Amazing venue. Amazing food. Great genuine staff. You get plenty of nice restaurants but this place is just special, complemented with a nice long drive through the park, approaching it all 'lit up' and looking amazing. Will be making visits here regularly going forward! Nice to have somewhere of this standard so close by in Leicester. Grew up in Braunstone and it's just amazing to see what they have done with the place, completely transformed from what was the local derelict 'haunted house.' Seems like yesterday being up there with my mates trying to spook eachother with all the local legends and stories!! :) Wish you every success! Thanks again for a great evening!

Excellent food, friendly staff, a very pleasant evening

I had my 18th birthday spent with my girlfriend coming from abroad and sister in the evening. I did not have an opportunity to make a good loud celebration, but it was more than enough to visit this place with only two close people. The prices and the food quality and amount for them is fabulous! We paid just a £100 for three, all starters, mains, add-ons, drinks and desserts of top quality! I have visited many restaurants in many countries, however here I had the best rib eye steak in my life. About the customer service - As entering we’ve been asked if we would like to handle our jackets, very friendly, very active, the customer service is on top! Do visit this place - I don’t like making reviews but it was that good so I could not live without writing this!
