Came here for the first time recently and was very impressed! On site parking with no charge during service hours, friendly staff that were very attentive and fresh selection of food. Mostly Indian cuisine, included charcoal grill, stir fry selection cooked in front of you with spice preference, salad bar, some English choices and dessert selection with chocolate fountain. All in all great buffet restaurant!

I had a great time there with my family. The service was great, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was awesome. At one point a magician came over to entertain us with his magic and it was a very fun experience. The bar is reasonably priced and there is very little waiting time.

Very nice and tasty food with lots of different and rich flavours. A fair amount of variety. Seats were quite far away from the buffet area. Good mixture of vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Picture is a selection of starter sides and were very nice. Would be a 5 star if the restaurant had a refillable soft drinks machine.

I came here with some friends to celebrate a birthday recently. My friend brought us here as he loves this place, he would only take us to food places that were good. We hadn't booked but as his wife knew the owner we were given a table straight away. Being a Saturday evening you would definitely need to book. The food is buffet so I took a wonder and checked out the starters and mains options. There was so much choice for both vegetarians and meat eaters so I sampled food from both. The food had so much taste and tasted fresh. There was a station where you could choose to have chicken, lamb or beef grilled and you could add your own flavour of sauce/hotness. The desert choices were plentiful and the they were very tasty. The food was so filling, I wanted to eat more but I just couldn't. I'll definitely be coming back for more.

It's a indo-Continental buffet food joint in Leicester.Food quality and buffet spread is okay , nothing to brag about.I went with 2 of my friends for Saturday dinner and it cost us 18.99£ per head.Can't say it's cheap.Desserts were less but good.Main courses were below par.Stsrter was okay.Kababs were sub standard. There was a live wrap and Dosa counter but didn't tried.Overall an Okayish experience with nice India like ambiance.Full of noise and crowd with long waiting time for seats.

1st time i went 4/5 years a go, i didn't like it. Food wasn't justifying the price. Then about a month a go my wife went there and she was telling me the food was awesome. So we went last week and to be honest. The food was really nice. The taste was really improved as compared to what i had before. I must say its a must visit place. All the food was great. Just need to put some more vegetarian items if you can please. Keep it up.

Wow so much food and choice all in one place. It's self service and the empty pans are refilled regularly. There is a chef there too waiting to cook your selected items fresh if required. I was filled up on starters and they were all delicious. I did think the price of £21 was a bit steep though for someone who can't eat great volumes of food. On the other hand for those with bottomless stomachs, you would definitely get your money's worth.

Great buffet experience. Just had our Sunday lunch here. Delicious fresh food and abundant options. All stations were fantastic. Very pleased with the starters and curries on offer. The lamb in particular was lovely. Our 16 month old son ate for free. Great value considering the excellent quality.

One of the best all you can eat buffet i have been to. Loved their starters and deserts. In the main vegeterian options were not all that but the dhosa station covered up for it. Lovely ambience and foood..however, poor service from waiters and they stare at you. Its good for big groups and families. Recommend it for sure!

Going to this restaurant 5y. Always booking table before, by phone. Today I booked on website, and then call to be sure it reserved. I want to leave bad comment Today for rude stuff , but some how I understand why Their was mad!!! Some parents who came with kids( not kids, but parents are pigs!) If 13-16y old girls can jump, walk on sofa in restaurant with shoes!! Kids drop food on floor, banging glasses, forks, shouting ,screaming...( I have 4 kids too AND THEIR TEACHED FROM SMALL AGES ELEMENTARY RESPECT AND SOLID ATTITUDE) I'f baby drop something , mother must pick up , but when adults or teenage ,,cows''!! OMG! I paid for two persons 41.00 for 1h / and that was last time in this restaurant. Thanks for worst evening with my daughter and RUDE STUFF! Had an early evening meal today. The food was piping hot and lots to choose from. The lamb was incredibly tender. Five stars. You are requested to wear a mask on entry as in most places but not compulsory of course. Gloves are provided for you to serve your own buffet meal. I felt safe and secure and relaxed. This has a good high standard of curries for a buffet, the lamb curries are always nice with soft tender lamb pieces. The starters are nice too I recommend trying the chilli chicken starter and fish pakoras. Fresh nans on demand I usaully order thebchef to make me a fresh garlic nan and live cooking of your fresh noodles cooked to your choice 😀👍

Food was good and well done for adapting the menu to suit current climate etc. However I was disappointed that not only had the price gone up to over £17, but dessert was no longer included in the price, which I thought was a cheek as the desert was £6 and a pint near £5. So didn't end up having dessert in the end, which I was looking forward to. A little disappointed..I thought you'd want to encourage people to come and not rob them...

We went early mid week. There was a big event on bit we still could easily get food withot much of a weight. For veggies the Pani Puri are a good starter. Paneer from the grill section was good and I enjoye dthe thick Dahl tadka too. My husband said the Goan fish curry was very authentic. I wasn't impressed with all the deep fried starters so stuck with more Pani Puri and a second plate of curry. I did really enjoy the bread and butte pudding. There isnt a huge range of food, the table service for drinks was poor. For a big group it's a good venue but for £18pp you can get bette indian food

I have just visited this business with my friends today once again and I can confidently say that the food and service here has been amazing. Covid procedures have been thorough with face masks, disposable gloves and hand sanitizing gel provided and worn by all staff. I reccomend this buffet experience to anybody.

Not long ago, because I was invited by friends, I went to dinner at this restaurant and, I can say that my impression, once I got inside, was positive for the cleanliness and of course for the furnishing of the place. The staff proved to be welcoming and why not, very professional. The dishes offered by the chef were well presented on the plate and rich in seasoning. To be honest, (I explain only for my personal taste ),they seemed very rich in spices; on the other hand it must be admitted that the typical dishes of Indian cuisine are cooked here. To conclude, I can say positively in recommending it to all those who love rich Indian cuisine.

We were a very large party however the restaurant were not able to accommodate us in the private seating area as we were only offered two tables there. The best buffet restaurant in Leicester. The starters are exceptional as is the desserts. When it comes to main dishes, this is where you feel a little short changed. They tasted better than average but not as much choice when it came to mains. Only two different pizzas on offer but beautiful they tasted.

There is a great range of choice so anyone persuaded to join a charity event can be sure of finding a dish to their taste. The atmosphere is very friendly so even those who do not know many others in the party can fit in easily. Several of us had been before to charity events and quite likely those who had come for the first time will do so again. Through the generosity of the management this is an effective and enjoyable way of raising funds for any worthy organisation.

Went there for my little ones birthday party. We were in a group of 13 people. It's welcoming when you enter inside resturant, very well presented. Nice spacious and elegant surroundings. Good clear big labels tells you where each food is located throughout restaurant such as starters and desert sections. It's buffet type of food and everyone in my group including myself liked all the food we tasted. Quality of the food was really high standard and very tasty. The only thing that slightly let it down was when I ordered the mojito drink for my wife and mum we were told they had none left. We all enjoyed our visit to the Chef and Spice and it was the lovely food and the surroundings that really made it worthwhile. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to have tasty food and a good time.

Not bad for a get together with friends. Pints are £4.50ish! Decent variety of veg and non veg. Fairly authentic Indian. Not the best but a good laugh if you're with the right crowd. The staff are friendly and laid back too, which always makes it a pleasure

It is what it is...but! The food is much better than your usual all you can eat. Great tasting food all round from curries to American chicken to very tender lamb dishes. Unusual to such great lamb anywhere. And under £60 for 3 including couple beers coke and lemonade. No complaints. Lovely friendly staff!

First and foremost, it is halaal. It is a very good buffet, very clean and tidy. Gets busy which is a good thing. They had a magician there who came over to our table which is a good form of entertainment and something different. Food is great, lots of varieties to choose from for starters and mains. The chefs make stir fry with your choice of ingredients. They also make steak in front of you on the grill. I'm not much of a dessert person but they had a good selection of things, including a chocolate fountain. Would definitely come here again.

Probably one of the best all you can eat Indian buffets in Leicester. Price is reasonable and they have a decent selection of Indian food. They also have pizza, chips and a little Chinese offering for those who don’t like Indian but forced to go as part of a large group. The decor and seating area’s are clean and the food appears to be cooked well. There are a few parking places along the road and a few other spaces behind the restaurant. Every time I have been I have enjoyed the food and atmosphere of the place.

It's a buffet. Good range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. They offer pizza dosa roti breads. Sweet dishes are quite interesting. Nice taste. Drinks can be paid separately. Price vary for weekend weekdays and holidays. It's good to reserve table beforehand. One of friend had not so pleasant experience once.

The food was very nice & a good selection. Staff were friendly & attentive apart from the miserable chef who was cooking the fresh stir fry to order who had no manners. We went on Sunday afternoon( was home for 3.30pm) but we were charged for the evening rate. Didn't realise until the next day. So we were overcharged by £4.00 as there was two of us. So make sure you check your receipt whilst at the resteraunt. (We paid £38 for our meals with a pint of cobra & a small pepsi )

Great for large parties. First time here and was worried when we saw the restaurant was packed, but the organisation of the buffet was good and there were no queues due to number of customers, nor was there a wait because dishes were running out. The only reason for the four out of five stars is that the staff tonight had issues identifying Gluten Free food - which for someone with dietary requirements is problematic. However, there are some choices... If they get pointed out to you.

It’s basically a nicely designed buffet place that concentrates on Indian food (but not exclusively). The food is, as you might expect, a bit corporate - but if you’re hungry, don’t want a big bill, and aren’t looking for somewhere actually good - it fits the bill. Visited here as i searched for local restaurants whilst in area shopping.... so glad we did .. all food was very good .. high quality clean and tasted great.. have to add too it was all real full on chicken.. so many places use chicken with added water and its obvious but this place are authentic .. lots of options to choose from .. can try it all.. i tried dishes i wouldn't usually and found i liked some and not others but now i know what to order from here on :p Desserts were cute and kids loved tge different ice creams the sauces the marshmallows and chocolate fountain. All staff were on top form constantly clearing cleaning and attending.. the stir fry ched made me a nice little dish too . Oh and try the roast potatoes :) Hour drive from home but will return specifically for meals here! Money very well spent:)

It's good place to go out for dinner,food is fresh and quite tasty but it is not the best Indian you can get.Weekdays prices are much cheaper than weekends.On Saturday for example I paid almost 19£ (price for adult).I was disappointed with small selection of desserts.Otherwise it is clean and stuff is quite friendly ,almost too attentive which can be annoying.They circle your table back and forth which I was distracted about.
