One of my personal favourites in Leicester and a place that wasn’t too negatively affected by the pandemic and lockdowns. So I am really glad it is still around. Staff are always nice and friendly, not long of a wait to sit or when ordering any food or drinks too. It is a lot larger than most people actually expect, a large dining area and a good sized lounge area. They even have more room downstairs next to the toilets. The mood and atmosphere is my favourite thing about this place, always a chilled vibe.

This was our first time visiting, it was a really nice setting and the cocktails were lovely, the food was average, both the steak dishes were very fatty pieces of steak and the chicken dish as you can see from the photo was burnt and extremely dry, I’m surprised they sent it out burnt but as we had evening plans we did not have time to return the dish, overall an ok experience.

Stunning venue. Visited just for drinks on this occasion and were lucky enough to find a free table. Team were super attentive in clearing tables as guests departed. Super warm atmosphere - definitely want to revisit !

This is a great place to hangout with your friends and family. It's embodies its name as it is very cosy. The look from outside is very deceptive as it appears small but it is quite spacious. It has a vintage vibe to it. Staff don't have a uniform which adds to the quirkiness. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty and enjoyable. I would definitely be coming back here.

Quite a nice place to have brunch with friends, or enjoy some delicious cocktails. The menu has enough choice that everyone can find something they'll like - vegans included. Good that they are so vegan friendly here. The food itself was nice but I wouldn't say it was amazing, so not the place if you have high expectations for cuisine. The service is good, plenty of smiles going around and they try to help tailor dishes around intolerances, etc. My favourite aspect of the place is the decor, with the strong industrial vibes of exposed piping and lighting, light and airy rooms, and even a loom room downstairs that functions as a separate bar area. Overall, if you want somwhere to have some food and drinks with your mates in Leicester and need a vegan-friendly menu, go to Cosy Club!

Works meal out for 9 people. Staff were lovely and friendly, although we seemed to be forgotten after dinner and before we ordered pudding. Meal was really nice but I've marked it down 1 as the menu hasn't really changed in 3 or 4 years! Popcorn cheesecake was to die for! And huge too! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😂 Overall a really lovely experience, thank you.

Visited with my daughter to have brunch. Really helpful & friendly staff giving us a great welcome. Food was delicious & reasonably priced. The manageress on the front desk and our waitress, Nell (who was apparently new to the job - but it certainly didn't show!), provided us with excellent service. Thanks for a very enjoyable visit!

Decent bar well located in town. It's normally busy for food in the evening; so wise to book. A fair bit of choice drinks wise and the cocktails are nice. I think one recommendation would be to do a bit of table service for people drinking. I think in Leicester you're a differentiator, rather than competing on cheap drinks so I think offering customers more value rather than lower prices is the way forward. In fact; I think you're probably a bit cheap.

I had the pancakes with bacon, and while it was nice, one of the three pancakes was burnt (but flipped over to hide it) which wasn't great. If they messed it up (it happens) they should have given me another. I mentioned it and the staff were nice and tried to discount the price of a single pancake to make up for it... Which they couldn't do so knocked off the price of my hot drink instead. So that was good but kinda the minimum they should do.

It reminds me of The Curio lounge in Stroud ..quirky set up from times gone by set amongst the history of a factory from bygone days. Huge space that would work beautifully as a wedding venue . Haven't eaten here yet but drinks are a good variety which you can enjoy in various chairs and sofas dotted around the space and are just as the name suggests ,cosy !

The homemade beef burger packed a lot of taste with each bite and our drinks were great as well. I was really disappointed by the attitude of one member of staff who was rude to my friend when she asked if she could remove the cheese from the meal she wanted. Waitress rudely told her that everything has cheese or vegan cheese and it cant be changed. Which means their food is not freshly prepared??? Would not bother returning here based on the attitude, rudeness, lack of customer satisfaction, she just wanted something without cheese!! Thankfully our male server made up for it with his smile and friendliness, but it just wasn't worth the money for the unnecessary attitude.

We went for lunch. I had a 'Cosy Club Sandwich ' it was amazing 10/10. When entering the venue we asked for a table and were told nothing for a few hours. We were not offered seating in the bar area. We then went to leave but noticed tables in the bar, we then asked if we could have lunch there and were told yes. Why not offer us that in the beginning!? The initial customer service stopped me giving this 5/5.

Exceptional. Had an hour to kill one afternoon and wondered into this little gem. The staff were charmingly helpful. Admittedly there were few customers - it was pre-midday - but nevertheless the smiles and banter brightened an otherwise solitary hour. Can't fault the CC and the staff are a credit to the business.

We've been to Cosy Club numerous times and loved it, however the menu has changed and a lot of vegetarian meat alternatives have been removed, (bring back the vegan meatball) We ordered 6 starters to share as a tapas style dinner which we used to order on the tapas offer which has been removed. The prices were expensive for the portion size, the food was good, but not amazing considering the price. We won't be returning unless they bring back the old menu.

I was very impressed with this place. They've gone to considerable efforts, to weed out many of the facets of eating out, that one finds are annoying about eating somewhere that isn't 'home'. The idea is genius really. So many little details that would take me quite a while to detail, but cleverly considered when setting up the venue. Everything from the physical venue itself; it's type, spaces, feel, to the way the furniture and fittings have been chosen, and the way the staff interact with customers, take orders and bring them their order, has gone through a rigorous process by someone who has picked away at all the horrid things one usually experiences, that reminds one that they are not at home in their own pad, but in a franchise or business owners establishment, and has tried to change those annoyances so that the experience is more nuanced and homely. Admittedly, I visited with a friend at what would be a quietish time (late morning), but nonetheless, I was impressed that any place at any time could have this relaxing feel about it. Even the staff give a very relaxing vibe which I found rather comforting and rare these days. One can often feel the pressures of life and work are putting staff in some sort of pressure cooker, in most places. Here, they got on with things and were efficient enough, but didn't give the feel of a military regime. I liked that, and noticed that staff were genuinely happy, not with an artificial corporate smile, tattooed on the face of every worker; but as humans. We do notice these things, though we don't always realise it consciously. I ordered some poached eggs with avocado on toast, with a bit of bacon, and a coffee (maybe a mocha?). The eggs were perfectly poached in the traditional style (dropped into the pan of hot water, and scooped out when ready). They were pretty much perfect. The whites were cooked and the yolk was runny - perfection in my book, and black pepper was made available, which I like to freshly grind on top. No complaints here. The fact I haven't mentioned the loos yet, is because I didn't need to. They were clean, maintained well and looked pleasant. The only thing I might comment, is that they were a bit of a walk, and down a flight of stairs. It didn't occur to me to check if there were other ways to access, so I apologise for not checking, but equally, I feel confident that they would have considered accessibility for all. I'll check the next time I visit!

Cosy club is always a staple as wherever you go its always fab, but Leicester was just incredible. Service was friendly and fast and I liked how they gave me a choice of either having full waiting service or order for yourself in the more casual (but equally gorgeous) bar area. That is a level of detail I always appreciate. I really reccomend the pink lemonade, sweet but refreshing, and the dirty chicken burger was to die for!! It was fresh, steaming hot and so tasty. Also reccomend a side of onion rings. Thank you Cosy Club Leicester, i'll be back ❤

Came here for a leaving do for a mate. One thing you can say is that the staff are very nice and friendly and helpful. In particular Aleah behind the bar. Very nice helpful and great at making cocktails. The food and atmosphere in the place is also great. The decor is nice too with sofas and old industrial style lighting and industrial look in general. Reason for the 3 stars is that the options for groups are pretty rubbish. You have a huge menu and offer lots of options, but when it comes to groups the options are very limited which doesn't make sense to me. I had the steak and I have to say it was great, cooked just how I liked it and was very tasty and juicy. I feel the prices are a bit much as well, the steak is really the only thing to have and that's an extra £5 on top of the £20pp fixed menu then you have to pay for sauce and anything extra you want. Similar to that of the burger etc. It is a shame. I would come back here but not with a big group. I'd maybe come back just for a few drinks.

Me and my partner had our first date here 6 years ago so decided to pay it another visit for our anniversary. Good food (although on the expensive side considering portion size). We had the halloumi and garlic prawns as our starters which were nice followed by the vegan burger (one of the tastiest I've had) and the 10oz steak. Only slight complaint was that drinks took a while to arrive and we seemed to have a different waiter/waitress every time we were served (but I'd prefer that anyway if it speeds up service). Would definitely recommend and will visit again (less than a 6 year gap this time 😊)

Such a wonderful visit to the Cosy Club. So glad we booked as every table was taken when we arrived at 6:15 on a Saturday night. The place had a fantastic vibe and we where greeted and seated promptly. The bar was packed the restaurant flowing and whilst the menu is smaller than remembered its understandable bearing in mind the current food and delivery situation. Great to get a carafe of water on the table.. Love the Cawston Rhubarb drink. Main course ordered Seared seabass tamari & ginger teriyaki noodles, sugar snaps, red pepper, sesame, chilli, lime just sensational.. served in a timely manner and a nice check back.. everything was wonderful a real explosion of flavour with the seabass allowed to be the centre of attention.. Apple Tart to follow with ice cream and caramel.. just devine.. 10/10 We have visited before and will again.. as long as you let us..

This is a great city centre restaurant and bar. The menu is really varied and caters to most tastes. The staff are very aware of allergies and take great care to cross-check for potential problems with kitchen staff. Service is swift and efficient, although drinks can take a while to arrive at the table. If you just pop in for a drink, the bar staff are very friendly and generally there isn't much of a wait to be served.

Website is deceiving makes out that food is part of the bottomless brunch cost. we were told we could not have more drinks until we have drank up our current drinks which was a bit annoying but is what it is. ( food normally 1X meal has always been included in on the main meal price at any bottomless brunch I've been to before it is not normal to pay for it separately) however the food was actually really good and server lady was very polite :)

The building is a lovely converted factory so really spacious and airy and the staff were really friendly and attentive. Drinks are a bit expensive (expect around £11 for a double spirit with mixer and up to £8 for a regular glass of wine) but there is a cocktail offer between 4 and 8pm if that's your thing (not Friday or Saturday though) the food menu has something for everyone and tries really hard but the portions are a little small (I had the duck salad at £13.50 and although it was delicious I had to have snack when I got home) the ladies loo could do with some attention as it's a bit shabby but generally quite nice. Attracts a more sophisticated crowd then other leicester bars. Private room also available downstairs for parties and events.

Lovely food. It took a long time, about an hour, to be served our food even though our party menu ment we didn't order individual starters. Once they came they were delicious. The bang bang cauliflower and duck salad were excellent. The fish cakes were also lovely. As we werent particularly in a hurry it was good overall. Would return.

Shabby chic cafe restaurant conveniently located right next to a large shopping mall and the historical area of Leicester. They have dedicated gluten free and vegan menus, both of which provide fantastic variety. Portions were small for the price, however.

Recently refurbished warehouse situated close to the city centre offering great food and drink in very contemporary yet traditional décor. Not particularly 'cosy' due to the open space on offer but it's a very comfortable and relaxing place to drink in style. One of my favourite places to grab a cocktail in the city.

This was fairly okay for brunch. It was quite busy considering we went on a Sunday. The food was okay, you don't get much for your money's worth. The staff were a bit slow too. I don't if it was maybe because they were understaffed but it took a while to get even get the attention of the staff if we needed anything. We were told that most of their kitchen were staff were isolating because of COVID, so they did have a reduced menu.

Shabby chic cafe restaurant conveniently located right next to a large shopping mall and the historical area of Leicester. They have dedicated gluten free and vegan menus, both of which provide fantastic variety. Portions were small for the price, however.

Decided to go ahead and try this place yesterday and we weren't disappointed. We had our young son with us, so it can be difficult to find a nice place to eat that has the right atmosphere for both children and adults, but this place had both. The staff were very friendly and were very knowledgeable when asked about the food and drink, offering recommendations and suggestions without being pushy. There were a couple of other tables with babies or young children and the staff were excellent with them, keeping the children entertained whilst not ignoring the adults. It sounds odd in a restaurant review, but this said something about the staff at this place. We were there at a busy time and yet it seemed as though everyone was made to feel comfortable and relaxed. The food was excellent. Everything tasted great and there was attention to detail in the presentation. There were no long waiting times and nothing seemed to lack effort. We had a tapas starter, three dishes that were all great (especially the chicken and chorizo) and some of the nicest olives we've had. The mains were equally nice and there were vegetarian, vegan and gluten free menus for those who needed. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone and I will be going back there sooner rather than later. Great for families, small groups, romantic meals and pretty much anyone.

Plus s my son and myself are both celiac and are gluten free and it was the first time we’ve been anywhere where you can eat pretty much what you want of the menu and they bend over backwards to to do this for. Went on Friday, there were meant to be 6 of us but only 5 came. No problem for our waiter. He was, I think, American and a total babe. So friendly and attentive. In fairness all the staff were lovely. We had the various starters...I had pulled chicken and it was lush! My friends had the Tapas.. .not huge amounts but lovely. 3 of us had burgers for main and 2 had salad all gorgeous....staff were friendly, drinks reasonably priced and a lovely atmosphere. I went here with my girlfriend on our anniversary, the atmosphere was as the name suggests "cosy". The food and drinks were of a high standard and the waiting staff were helpful. This place can however get very busy at peaks times so it is highly recommended to book in advance. All in all we left happier than when we entered, and I guess that is the main desired outcome when going out for dinner.

Brilliant place. Went there with a friend for coffee and brunch today. The welcome and the service were excellent. The food quality, variety and size were excellent. The whole atmosphere with an amazing amount of natural light coming through is perfect. Here is a place when even its busy, you can still talk to your table without shouting. I also loved the fact that you had really a mix of people..teens, bit older, families, couples...This is a place you can take your gran for coffee and dessert, your friends for a meal and a beer or your date for a glass of wine with for brunch.. You are served without feeling rushed, waitresses and waiter are amicable and professional while friendly . Your order is double checked and this is a place where you take your time. This is how brunch should be.. Highly recommended, this one of my go to in Leicester. My friend from Birmingham was equally impressed. Thank you for a great experience. Nb : Price wise , its also excellent. 2 coffees, rose lemonade, Cosy Egg chorizo (Egg bénédictine style), a cosy sandwich, proper lettuce, proper tomatoes, lemon and herbs chicken, crunchy but not oily bacon,1 salad and 1 expresso for less than 25£! Cant complain can you.. I left 5£ tip on top well worth it. Keep it going! Love that place.

I've been here a few times in both small and large groups, and at quiet and busy times. It's a great venue, cool decor and upbeat atmosphere. The food is always good, but service unfortunately lets the place down, and on more than one occasion has made a special occasion or night out less special. Be prepared for miscommunication from your booking to your arrival (eg menu choices, dietary requirements) , and potentially long waits for drinks and food. I won't be going out of my way to come here again.

The waiter who was assigned to us was so friendly and he would go above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and happy. The food was also lovely and it was cooked relatively quick. The other waiter that gave us the bill at the end was also lovely. He was also very friendly and had a nice chat with us, and he was patient because we all wanted to pay for our respective meals when the bill was added together. The Cozy Club's services were by far the best I've had in a long time and both my friends will agree with me. I will recommend the Cosy Club to anyone, and I will be definitely be visiting again!

Absolutely Amazing. One of the types of places I'd give higher than 5 if I could. Food was absolutely amazing - really tasty, hot, nutritional. Got offered Gluten free and Vegan menus by our waiter straight away - although we didn't need them its a nice touch. Ordered 7 Drinks from the bar - a variety of Alcoholic and Soft. All came out quickly and almost correct. We ordered a San Miguel Lager with Squeezed fresh lime and it was served with Lime Cordial - Made it know although wasn't a big deal so kept it anyway. However - Without prompting our waiter replaced it with a fresh one with only fresh lime in - very good service. Would't hesitate to return.

Always enjoy going to the Cosy Club. Met with friends for breakfast yesterday (Saturday morning). Between 4 of us we had their Cosy Eggs with Bacon, Rather Elegant Brunch, Cosy Eggs with Mushrooms & Spinach and a Gloucester Old Spot Sausage Sandwich. All the food was tasty and we were served quickly by very pleasant and attentive staff although it was quiet being a Saturday morning. Not the cheapest place to eat but love the relaxed atmosphere and the retained features of the old hosiery factory it occupies.

This is a must-visit place if you're going out in Leicester. A lot of effort has been put into making this bar unique and original. It also offers a great range of beers and spirits, this place is great with mates or for a romantic night out!
