Met the owner Said I would leave a review that was honest I can in late closing time … rookie mistake The place is sooo clean top work on that Came in to try as it’s next door to my favourite kebab house So didn’t get to taste the oil from the main vat. Which I was told is very tasty But what I had I liked. The fish was nice and crispy so the batter you can tell is fresh a and not too runny etc Really nice staff and deffo worth a pop into Keep up the good work and I’ll be seeing you again I promise I’ll take a better pic next time too

When Fat Tony's first opened we went and tried it. It was by far the best chip shop I'd had. I did question if it would always be great as time passes. But every time I visit the food has always been perfect, the staff are always so friendly and the shop is always clean. By far the best chip shop in the area.

Always get my food from here!! Love there battered chips ( only place I can get them) and I asked for more batter and they did with no questions ask!! There meat is lovely!! Especially there chicken Donna!! I never usually eat that, I just eat lamb Donna but from here I find myself eating more of the chicken!! Lovely people aswel! Very considerate about knocking on the door as I have new twin babies! Very polite!! Not a bad word to say!! I will continue to keep ordering my cheeky takerway from them!!

After 3 uears of searching for a DECENT chippy which does fantastic donner meat, fish, pies and cheesy chips. i can proudly say ive now found that Best Punjabi chippy in Leicester. the Donner meat is nice and smooth, they know exactly what cheesy chips means (their not scared to use cheese how it should be on the chips to make it cheesy). fish is a fair decent size absolutely nice and fluffy too, and the chicken mushroom pies are absolutely tasty for those pie lovers like use. the staff are absolutely lovely and humble my favorite being the darling lady i speak to every week. you can order on there site or just eat. this is now my regular and im proud of them.

friendly workers, ordered fish and chips and was 11/10. fish was nice and crispy and chips weren't soggy after asking for vinegar on it. walked back home which is 10 minutes away and still was hot. obviously coming back again

Husband said 3 stars and I said 2 Delivery was prompt and it was hot so that's a plus Fishcake was fine Battered fish was quite literally flavourless Fat Tony's special kebab resembled road kill but apparently was okay flavour wise however the nann was undercooked My chips came with curry sauce poured over them so really turned into one soggy mess. The curry sauce was lovely but can't understand why it didn't come in a pot like everywhere else, the mozzarella sticks were grim. Won't bother again as for £25 can get a better for less

The staff here are so lovely and the pizza is VERY VERY good!!!!!! The sausages are great and it's good value. Fat Tony's is our local chippy and we think it's amazing. Thank you for treating my kids on their birthdays

Go to this place often and have never had an issue with the food. Tried one of their new pizzas, opted for a BBQ one. Was really good and had a good amount of meat on it. Will definitely be having another one!

I had a Donar meat chips with cheese and it was beautiful. I had to request the cheese because I didn't know how to add it. Explained cheese is a must, being 24weeks pregnant it has to be on everything as its my craving lol. I receive this really lovely note with my order. Visited Fat Tony's chippy last night very friendly staff made you feel welcome we had chips battered sausage curry sauce potatoe fritter and a nan bread donner kebab with salad and everything was perfect the chips were spot on and the curry sauce the best I've tasted in a long time the battered sausage really nice love the potatoe fritter and the nan was a change from pitta bread so will always have nan the kebab was nice and flavoursome the salad was perfect really enjoyed the food from Fat Tony's chippy and the prices very reasonable and it's my go to chippy in saffron lane well recommended you will not be disappointed nice clean shop
