A bit expensive though. It Was my first time had the double patty ham burger and The milkshake I had added the straberry cheese cake with salted caramel and vannila all the topings are free. The staff are super friendly and attentive

The best five guys I’ve had.. I’ve tried it a couple of times in other city’s and have never really been blown away by it, until today, truly the best one I’ve had. There was abit of a wait, the manager (I believe) came up to me twice and apologise about this, and again as I was leaving! You could tell he really cared about his position and was trying to make sure everyone had the best time. 10/10 Leicester five guys!

This Five Guys in particular: Great! The member of staff who served us was friendly and helpful. The food arrived without too long a wait and was hot and fresh. the place was clean overall - no mess on the condiment stations, drinks dispensers, or on the table we sat at. My son and I visited around lunch time on a Thursday and while the city centre was busy, strangely Five guys wasn't at all. So I can't speak for how well the place operates under more pressure. Five guys in general: Five guys does ace things with a burger! Nothing especially extravagant about it - choose a burger, pick some topping, add some fries and go. But then sometimes the simplest things are the best. The quality is spot on - big , juicy, and super tasty. The fries are spot on and you always get an absolute ton - a small easily went between me and my 5 yo son. Where Five Guys loses some points is simply on the disparity between what it is (a fast food outlet) and the cost. We're talking around £8 for a cheeseburger, plus more for fries and a drink - so about £15 for a typical adult meal. For a family of 2 adults and 2 kids you'd be looking at about £45 at least. The food is fantastic, several steps beyond the other high street competition. So in that regard you get quality for your money. But then this is still a takeaway burger you're paying for, which you can choose to eat in comfortable but no-frills American diner/burger bar styled surroundings at no extra charge if you want to. Cost prohibits it from being frequented like other high street fast food competitors. It's not somewhere most people could afford to visit on a whim or more than once a week or so. And in that regard I'm not sure where in the market it really sits and who it's competitors are. Is it competing with McDonalds? Or is it competing with the likes of Frankie & Benny's? Five Guys serves burgers and fries that beat both hands down, but it's way more expensive than the former and doesn't offer the dining environment of the latter.

I really like the milkshakes from here! They’re so thick and tasty. The prices for meals might be a bit high but it’s definitely worth it for the portions you get. Would 190% recommend the milkshakes if you aren’t lactose intolerant.

Nice, decent quality burger, however, sweet onions ruined the burger taste. Too many chips for one (little portion) so they went cold bout the time I ate them. The drinks were hardly fizzy and I tried a few flavours but not much difference in taste. Clearly better quality food than mcds but way too expensive for a burger meal of burger, chips, drink. £17ish. I won't be 5aking my misses and kids there as I feel for the money we can get served in a restaurant, which Five Guys definitely is not.

Amazing cheesy bacon cheeseburger. Burger is big and tasty, has different toppings available for you to choose. Fries are big (we got a large for 2 people and couldn’t finish). Refillable drinks option available with variety. And milkshakes are thick and filling. Staff were very friendly. First time at a Five Guys and had high expections as i knew they were expensive but i had heard good things. Ordered a cheeseburger and small fries from the lovely staff. When i got the meal, the burger didnt smell right to me which didn't help and it tasted greasy and just not great. The burgers were a little red which i'm not a fan of too. Chips on the otherhand were nice! For just over £11, i was hugely disappointed and won't be back unfortunately.

I make a point not to pay silly prices for basic food like burgers so hadn't been here until my son took me recently, the burger was great, freshly made and really tasty, 1 complaint I have is when choosing salad to add to my burger I wanted what I usually have, Lettuce, Cucumber & Tomatoes... only to be told they don't have Cucumber on the menu !!! I would only eat here again if it's someone else's treat because of the prices.

For what it is it's the best but you pay for it. If I was to only have one burger a month itd be five guys. Its difficult to compare to most fast food burgers because it's so much better but also so much more expensive. The ingredients feel restaurant quality and the fries portion was enormous. The milkshake was incredible as was the hotdog my partner had. Four stars just because the pricing is of a restaurant level but the experience is of a fast food joint.

I'd never been to Five Guys before. I ordered a small burger, small fries and a chocolate milkshake. It came to £14.45 (they don't do student discount), which I thought was expensive. I was expecting a really tasty proper burger for the price but I actually found it very similar to a McDonald's quarter pounder, just 2 times the price! The chips were nice. The milkshake was really tasty. But in my opinion not worth the money. My visit was during lockdown. There were only 4 seats outside and they were taken by people waiting to collect orders. Although hand sanitizer and lines on the floor were then when ordering, the social distancing inside while waiting to collect the food was non existent. Only a disabled toilet was available.

Five guys is consistently good burgers and fries. Everything is a little more expensive than McDonald's, about 15 quid for a burger, fries and bottomless drink, but it's better quality and tastes a whole lot better. There's free peanuts, next to the till, available to snack on while you wait for it to be cooked and the Cajun fries are something I keep going back for more.

Burgers are unmatched by many. Delicious burgers and fries, though very expensive and definitely will burn a whole in your pocket. I also recommend any of their milkshakes, they go great with the fries! Staff are very nice and very helpful, and the decor is the same as any other location, but still following the classic American look. Fancy drinks machine with any drink you could imagine, so don't forget to have a play around on that. And lastly, don't forget to try out the complimentary peanuts, they are delicious!

The best burger anywhere! They only serve burgers (and hot dogs) and chips but they do them really well. A fast food type place, with the burgers made to you liking with your choice of toppings and served wrapped in foil. Chips are great, cooked in peanut oil and so really crispy. Prices are high but in my view worth it for the wonderful flavour and fast service.

First time going to a Five Guys was excellent - food quality wise. A double cheese burger (which you can customise with whatever condiments you desire) and cajun fries are a must. Unfortunately the bill did come up to around £14.10 for just one meal... (with a large, refillable soda). Would love to go again if it was more feasible.

The burgers here are second to none for a fast food joint. It's a little pricey but you can guarantee a good burger every time. It's cool how you can have unlimited peanuts and whatever topping you like at no extra charge! Portions of chips are huge so bear that in mind. Could easily share a large between two to three people.

I love this place as soon as you get in there somebody smiles and says hello can I take your order. It's not complicated don't have to go to school you just have to demonstrate a little bit of interest in the person that you're serving. So I had to cheeseburgers one little hamburger two fizzy drink continuous things and a beer that was refreshing I sat down with my drink and waited for my number to be called and of course munch my way through some obligatory nuts I was pleased to say that the jalapenos on the burger were fresh and hot what effect everything was fresh and hot. This was the second time I took my 8 year old son the first he had a hot dog II he had a little burger he didn't eat any of it he did he the chips in fact those chips are the Die for perhaps second only to the Dutch chips that are sold in close proximity to the clock tower in Leicester I definitely give that a go. This is my favourite burger place yes it is very expensive in fact horrendously expensive but the fact that I still go there and pay so much for a burger chips and a drink is Testament to the quality. Five Guys do a lot right, as a fast food chain. Their burgers are great, the fries are tasty and the restaurants are usually fairly clean and pleasant. That said, you're paying twice as much as somewhere like McDonald's or Burger King. Their burgers and fries are generally nicer than the competition if you consider McD's and BK to be their direct competition, but at the prices Five Guys charge, you can get a comparable or better burger meal for the same money from other local bars and restaurants. Still, if you're willing to pay more for something a bit nicer than the main high street burger franchises, Five Guys are a decent option. On my latest visit to this Leicester branch, the spicy fries were probably over-seasoned (I could taste the cajun spice for hours afterwards) and having ordered the smallest fries, the amount I received was about three times as much as a normal human being would need. Not sure whether that's a positive or negative, really.

It's a standard five guys place, seems fairly clean and the service was fine. It seems a bit overpriced but it's almost a novelty in itself going to five guys with the American burger place feel and the 90s rock. Five guys is always a treat. I have eaten at different five guys so many times that I forget some people have never tried one of there stacked out bacon cheese burgers or shared a bag of large fries cooked fresh in peanut oil. All five guys locations are done out in similar decor with red and white tiles and magazine articles about the burger company hung throughout. You wouldn't think much of the place if you were to glance through a shop front, but you may miss the thing that makes the place so special... ...the food; I have had only 4 things from the menu from a five guys, but due to the small selection on offer that constitutes around a third of the menu. The burgers are fresh and dense and even the single patty burgers can satisfy a large hunger (not that id order anything but the larger version) every burger is made to order and can be customised with various toppings and sauces to suit your specific taste. The bacon is especially popular as it is always cooked crispy and adds an additional texture to each burger it resides within. The real treat in every five guys location however is their chips; Cooked fresh in clean peanut oil, skin left on, before being piled into a distinctive brown paper bag. The chips are always hot and flavoursome and a regular is large enough to share between 2. The large could easily feed 3. If you have never tried a five guy's you are missing out.

I love this place. burger excellent, hot dog... it's out of a jar and not something I would happily pay for again. even the chip shop sausage would have been better. chips... again excellent plenty to go round not like kfc or BK. drinks, specifically milkshakes are expensive. if you think around £18 a head then you will be prepared. I would go back, but put on too many calories and cholesterol I am going to give them a wide birth to help reduce the impact the gravitational feed is having on the global weather and climate change

Incredible decor, very individualistic chain. Stands out from the other burger chains on the high street. Service was a little on the lacklustre side, but the food is consistently brilliant. Great choice of burgers, toppings and sides. Everything is fried on peanut oil and you can help yourself to a tray of peanuts for free. There is also a Coca Cola Freestyle machine which has every flavour of every drink the Coca Cola Company produces. Even bubble-less Fanta and grape Fanta. My main criticism about Five Guys is that the price is extortionate and you can easily spend £50 on a meal for two people. Although Five Guys does incredible food, these are restaurant level prices and the quality of Five Guys does not quite match a restaurant experience, so in my opinion it isn't completely warranted. I will be coming to Five Guys more often, thanks.

Imagine for a moment, if you will, the ideal burger. Nothing elaborate or novelty, just the classic burger. Succulent beef, soft bun, tangy dressing and fresh salad. What you are picturing IS a Five Guys. I can honestly say you will never be disappointed by a burger from Five Guys. Top off the experience with their endless softdrinks, selection of beer, free peanuts in the shell and freshly prepared fries (with spicy salt, for an extra kick).

If you like overpriced burgers and are not allergic to peanuts this place is perfect for you. Choice of topping's are good but you don't get to choose the way the burger is cooked. Clean and tidy and staff friendly and helpful... only issue is the extortionate price... perfect example being small bottle of mineral water = £1.95... and that's the cheapest drink on the menu. Let's hope it's been milked from the bosom of the goddess Aphrodite herself. Probably only if she was force fed peanuts first I'd imagine.

Best milkshake I've had in as long as I can remember hence why I always come back for it. The added fact you can choose what goes in and combine various different flavours is the kicker! The controversial addition of ground pieces of bacon sent the shake over the edge of greatness into new found lands, adding a similar breakthrough in flavour as mixing sweet and salty popcorn into one but only this time with a candy or maple bacon approach! I implore everyone to try it even just once and give your tastebuds a new venture where I'm sure they'll reap the rewards!

Chips were heavy salted that if I didn't already be at risk of high blood pressure then the chips already gave me it. Would've been two stars but since toppings are free, you get an extra star would've been four but since you put the toppings in like we are rationing for a war means only one extra . Toilets were decent apart for coloured liquid on the floor but those hand dryers dried my hands like wow. The variety of drinks available is a nice touch but maybe put a lactose free options for the milkshakes cuz I heard they are nice but I'm not out here fixing to run to the toilet then slip on the "water" on the floor But overall if you want to take out your date to somewhere where you don't have to dress up or spend too too much but want to enjoy yourself, then this is the place to go -Xordias
