The food is always lovely and the staff are great. We go at least once or twice a year and will continue to go back. Just be aware that the upstairs seating area has VERY steep stairs, so if you have any mobility issues, as for downstairs seating.

Loved the app that lets u book time/day/how many people, so easy to use! Fabulous food, we had the mixed grill, really tasty chunks of lamb, chicken and a shish kebab each, there was plenty of rice on each plate and chopped mixed salad, we ordered extras, bowl chips and garlic yoghurt and flavoured roast onions. Service was fast as we were the only ones there when we ordered, but place soon started to fill up, well worth a visit if you've never been before. Staff really helpful and polite. Smallish restaurant but still room between tables. Definitely going again.👍👍

I've just visited here with my family after a friend recommended it several times, after knowing the restaurant has just been refurbished I just had to go and take a look for myself. We booked a table at 7pm and was seated at 7:03pm, the service was very quick. The the waiters were friendly, helpful with recommending us to what portions and wishes we could get for us all. Once the food arrived we couldn’t fault it, it was perfect and it was a brilliant night out with my family to the restaurant and will definitely be coming back.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal at Mangal Turkish Restaurant this evening. As it was our first visit, we had a selection of hot and cold meze.... they we all absolutely amazing, with great taste. This was followed by their special mince lamb kebab as a main meal, which was also brilliant. The service was excellent and staff very friendly. Next time we’re taking our boys with us. Definitely worth another visit.

Beautiful Meal, lots of food and all really tasty. great staff and customer service. Ordered from an old menu (apparently 1 year old!) and so the money was off by about 2 pounds and they were really generous and said it was okay and to enjoy our meal.

Tender meat and well cooked. If you are a meat lover this will be for you. We were disappointed there were no olives / nibbles. Perhaps the predominantly meat menu reflects the food of a particular region in Turkey

Lovely authentic Turkish restaurant. Food is excellent and the service is great too. Gets busy so a reservation is recommended. Reasonably priced and the portions are relative to the price. Plenty of parking in the surrounding areas, especially after 6.

I'm a regular customer, and I visited for dinner yesterday with my wife after I saw the refurb. We loved the new look of the place, great atmosphere, food as amazing as always and service was top class. Highly recommended - easily the best Turkish food in Leicestershire.

I visit Mangal once or twice a month due to it being a cosy great restaurant in Syston. I can honestly say it my favourite restaurant and each time I visit the restaurant, Im always amazed by the food and how tasty it is. The staff are incredible at guiding you through the whole menu and recommending new dishes. A definite thumbs up from me!

First time visit to Mangal, Went for a Valentine's meal, I wouldn't recommend for such a special occasion. Fixed menu with limited choice from the menu. Hot Starter we had the Kalemar which was really good, but other than that nothing to shout home about. The main was just some salad, rice and skewered meat, really dry. Basically, a kebab with the naan replaced with rice. Not sure what the menu and food is like on a normal night, again this just my opinion. But someone who's palette is suited to asian flavours, spices and tastes, be likely to go elsewhere.
