J. B.While this shop might not be open extremely late to satisfy those post alcohol food cravings, food as tasty as this is definitely best enjoyed sober. The menu has something for everyone and the freshly made kebabs on site are absolutely delicious. The marinades used for the sish kebabs are great too, I'm not a massive lover of spice, but the spicy chicken was more tasty with heat rather than burning your mouth off. It's incredibly easy to order over the phone and the staff were extremely helpful. I can't wait to order from here again

P.Since the new ownership I’ve ate from the kebab shop quite a few times, I just wanted to say that the donner meat tastes incredible, the chips are perfectly crisp and I’ve really been enjoying the homemade sauce and the new lamb shish that has been introduced, lovely family oriented staff I can’t wait to come back and try new food! To the new owners keep up the great work 👍

Especially though the lockdown every other Friday, having one delivered to the door is nice, although in the past when going into the shop there was once a very strange man that was pointing at everyone and started to shout at everyone and a fight almost occurred. Nothing to do with the staff or the shop, just a local drugged up nutcase that was swiftly escorted out and onto the streets
A. U.Lost its magic unfortunately. Dry food, way too much salad, lamb donner meat just doesn't taste the same. Order got mixed up. Lack of the customer service that Maria and Chris had. Hopefully teething problems and thing will improve

The home made donner meat is lovely as is the spicy chicken which is obviously marinated properly as the flavour is all the way through the chicken
J. I.Don't judge a book by its cover. Whilst the outside of the shop may not look the newest, this store is incredible. Great food, great prices and incredible service. Although, be prepared that you may need to wait a little while for your food to be cooked (I recommend calling an order 30 mins ahead).
As I over heard in the shop, this isn't fast food. This is good, proper food.

They make almost everything from scratch, the pitta, the doner, the marinade for their shish, the kofte. Ah, and it tastes good, fresh homemade food. Sometimes I have waited a little longer than other places but it is worth it.

F.Moving from Newcastle to oadby 1 year ago I've tried to find a decent kebab takeaway and at last I've found one the mixed kebab with spicy chicken was absolutely beautiful and the hot sauce was much better with pizza sauce added as it was too hot for me, the couple who own the shop are lovely and can't do enough for you also we will be back might try a pizza next time.

A. W.I love Pavlos, and it seems really wrong that the first review you see when you google them is negative. Pavlos is an excellent place - the food's not dry and tasteless, the shop isn't grotty. We go there all the time. The lady is lovely and the kebabs are always great. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
