Very well trained staff friendly the atmosphere was really really nice. The food was exceptional we had a really good time and a foods oh my god

We had a Buyagift voucher and chose Prezzo, am so pleased we did. The restaurant is a very clean and sylish modern warm family establishment, on arrival we were greeted by a friendly member of staff who shown us to our seats, where next the manager then kindly sorted our drinks. The menu provided was catering for meat eaters and vegetarians, with a choice of pizzas and traditional Italian classics. The food was made on site to a beautiful quality and was nice the staff checked everything was okay for you. It has been a lovely relaxing meal served by friendly happy staff who gave you such a warm welcoming throughout the stay. I highly recommend visiting and I look forward to returning soon.

The staff were absolutely amazing, friendly, helpful and always on hand to ask if we needed anything else. Dined with young children and they went out of their way to speak to them and engage with us all. Food was great, perfect timings and tasted fabulous. Environment is clean, modern and tasteful really nice place to eat. The experience was complete when they brought out a birthday cake board for my son after I had said it was his birthday and forgotten to bring a candle for his dessert and if they could find one. Couldn’t of been a better experience. A huge thank you to all the staff.

Great place to eat out for Italian cuisine. I had the king prawn starter, pepporing pizza, and the honeycomb cheesecake for dessert. The food was lovely and the service was great as well. It's reasonably priced for an up market Italian restaurant. Would recommend.

Went to celebrate sons 18th. There were 10 of us and we were welcomed very warmly. Service was fast and efficient and all the food and drinks orders were bought to us spot on. No waiting and everything was cooked beautifully and was very nice. Not one of my favourites to eat at but would definitely recommend it.

Came here for a reunion with our friends, party consisted of 3 couples and 2 teenage girls. Service was quick and waiters/waitresses very attentive considering the busy Friday evening. Large portions, cannot fault the drinks, mains or the desserts! We enjoyed the meal and restaurant vibe so much we well over stayed our welcome but staff did not even make us feel pressured to leave. For this I have given a 5 star for the service and care by the team. They accommodated and served all our orders (8people) on time, cleared the table without disrupting our conversations and did not usher us out the door. We visited from London and would visit again.

Quick lunch and it’s so nice specially we used the Meemarket 241. What a bargain! The dough is absolutely amazing, I can say it’s one of the best I have had. Both starters are so nice but our pasta and risotto were not that good. Overall there environment and the service were really good. Food is tasty in general but will definitely stick to pizza instead in the future.

I have always had a positive experience with Prezzo; however, on our last visit, it was not amusing to be essentially forced out earlier than we had expected because our table had been booked out. It was a fairly busy night, and we had booked a table for 5 pm. We arrived and ordered our starters and mains. We've finished our mains around 6.45pm and we're thinking about some pudding, but the staff are busy (it is busy, I don't blame them) but we're okay as we are chatting away. By the time the waitress can come, we've decided to give the puddings a miss purely based on wait time and how busy they are. We get one last round of drinks and ask for the bill at the same time. Now, once we get the bill, we book an Uber because there's five of us, and we're expecting a wait. When the waitress returns, we pay, and an uber confirms our job 19 minutes away). Lovely, plenty of time to nip toilet and finish our drinks before we head outside. Wrong. The waitress comes back a second later, looking mortified and says, "I'm sorry to do this, but they've booked this table out for 7." So long story short, we had to wait outside for 15 minutes in the cold weather; some of us needing the toilet, especially after needing to down our last drinks drinks. The annoying this is, it would have been fine if somebody had told us we only had 2 hours. We wouldn't have spent so much money on drinks and probably only ordered a main. I'm aware some places have a 2-hour limit in tables, but every restaurant I've been to has always alerted you of this on arrival. Not Prezzos, though, clearly. Thing is, it's not as though we were planning on holding the table for hours on end. Just enough time to finish our drinks and let our food settle. Aside from that, food is nice, albeit pricey, and the cocktails are good.

First time wating here for a while and decided to go over Bella Italia that is out usual choice at meridian. A mistake we wont make again. The positive points are the service received from the staff, dressed smart, polite and friendly (had to smile when the casually dressed manager with shirt tucked out asked one of the waiting staff to tuck their shirt in) What was disapointing was the general quality of the food, it certainly isnt freshly made, and i expect is all taken from a box out of the freezer and reheated. Not good value for the quality, overpriced and disapointing experience that i wont be repeating. Back to Bella Italia, harvester or any other of the establishments next time

It was a nice clean restaurant, prices are competitive, and just look at that pizza! Food was fantastic. The reason for three stars however, service. We were greeted at the door (if you could call it that) and walked over to our table. Weren't asked there and then if we'd like any drinks (we would've) and when the waitress came to take our orders you could tell she was rushing, she'd been busy whatever. Just very blunt. No check backs to make sure the food was okay either, maybe it'll be better next time, if we do decide to return. That pizza really was fantastic good though so...

Food was really nice, atmosphere was very relaxed. Staff serving us were patient and pleasant. Pizza became a little tough as it cooled. The dessert was v v nice: The chocolate bomb. Definitely a must try.

We chose this because it has a good range of gf options. We have previously eaten at the Prezzo in Leicester and expected this to meet the same standard. So first we had to flag a waitress to place our order after being seated. Is it a thing now that you have to order digitally? Wine came from a bottle that had been open too long - both the merlot and the picpoul had a distinct tang of vinegar. Prawn cocktails were good. Mains were disappointing. The ham and mushroom pizza was undercooked and flabby. The mushroom fusilli was lukewarm. Side salad was fine. We had eaten most of it before someone came to check if the food was ok. What are you supposed to say? It was ok not brilliant or even enjoyable. We didn’t bother with desert. Doubt we will be back.

Delicious food, great portions and happy staff. Great kids menu - our son loved the spaghetti Bolognese. We like sitting in the booths and didn't have to wait long for your food which was great. Always had good food here. The spaghetti carbonara with chicken I highly recommend. Fantastic service too. Thank you.

Food is great honestly it's one of the best best pizza's I've had top quality! However the service could be better. I was given a used glass with my drink which had lip stick on it which wasn't cool. And also my friends dish was unavailable 20 minutes after she had ordered it. So by the time she had reordered etc it was a long time. Also we said we wanted all of the food to come together so our food got delayed too. Other than that great place to ate and the desert we had was amazing I have attached some pictures so you can see. Been here several times now, usually for a quick meerkat 2 for 1 deal. The food is nice but what lets this place down is the slow service, whenever we have come we have always waited a long time for drinks, food to come and always a long wait for the bill. On the most recent visit we booked online and advised we would need room for a pram. But when we arrived we were placed at the back of a busy restaurant which meant ramming several peoples chairs with a push chair, while there was a more suitable empty table for 2 with room for a pram by the front door.

The decor is airy and modern. I tried the pea fusilli and I'd recommend avoiding it - the texture is bizarre (although it may have been overcooked). The staff seem tired and unenthusiastic; from asking for the bill to paying took 30 minutes. Good place for a date, but don't go if you're in a hurry!

I was greeted with a big nice smile by my waiter kris he took me to my table and made sure I was comfortable and had asked if I needed a drink straight away, the food was good and fast and my waiter kris made sure to check up on me and my food, the food made it a good experience but kris made it an amazing experience. Prezzo is quite expensive for what it is, but the food is always good, the service is better than in equivalent chains and all the locations I've visited have a nice ambience. The Leicester Meridian is no exception. Once inside you can forget your in a soulless "out of town" complex and just enjoy the food. Speaking of which, there are 3 vegan options for mains (but no-starter or dessert). 2 pasta dishes, penne arrabiata and pasta norma, and the Margherita pizza. You can add veg toppings to the pizza but you don't get a lot for your extra £1.50 a topping. All that said it's a nice pizza from the wood fired oven and Prezzo can't be blamed for the fact that nobody has made a good substitute for melted mozzarella yet. I thoroughly enjoyed it, for what that's worth.
