This has to be the best steak restaurant in Leicester and one of the best steak places around the country. Steak was deliciously seasoned and cooked to perfection. The buffalo ribs were succulent and fell off the bone. The mocktails looked amazing with the smoke coming out of them (dry ice). Staff were very accommodating putting up a dividing screen around our table as my wife wears full niqab, very considerate! A definite 10/10. Just a word of advise to the staff/management, don't be so hungry by asking all customers to give you good reviews, it's a bit off putting. People will review you themselves as your food is great.

Our first time here and won't be our last. Great service and top quality food at a good price. The friendly staff had time to talk and all were obviously passionate about the business. Great to see a local independent company doing so well. We went for burgers (which were excellent) and will definitely go back for steaks and ribs. Highly recommended.

An excellent quaint venue with good customer service. We ordered a mix platter for two starters, sirloin steak and rib eye steak with mojito drinks. The starters consisted of 3x crispy fried prawns, 2x large chicken wings covered in a succulent flavoursome barbecue sauce an a beef rib. The beef rib was large, tender and melted in your mouth. All starters were excellent. Mains, sirloin was ordered medium and the rib eye medium rare. Both steaks were cooked perfectly upon a chat grill and to our liking. Our mojito's were both flavoursomes and rather fancyful with dry ice steaming out. The only recommendation I would give is to offer seasonal steamed veg as an accompaniment or as a side. Otherwise a quality restaurant that we will definitely be visiting again.

I chose this restaurant after reading some really positive reviews online. The waiting staff were friendly & attentive. We found the location ideal with a car park around the corner. The food was great & we both enjoyed it. It is a credit to the manager who we spent a good time talking to. The guy is a truly an exceptional shining star.

First time here. We had crispy chicken, prawns and nachos as starters. The batter on the crispy chicken was lovely as was the sauce that they were covered in. The prawns were cooked perfectly and the sauce on the prawns was lovely too. The nachos were serviceable nothing special. For mains I ordered the ribs. These were cooked perfectly and the portion was humongous! The meat just came off the bone. Was very filling. The restaurant can be very busy so best to book a table in advance. The restaurant is hmc certified. There is also a prayer area available. Also if you park at the ncp next door be sure to present your ticket to a member of staff and you'll get your parking validated for £1

You can't fail this place, the food was fantastic, the place had a great feel when you walk in, it was very busy when we went. But their service was excellent and the food was outstanding, I have never tasted ribs that are so tender seasoned well. Coming from London I haven't come across a similar restaurant like this, very glam, fine dining, quality also Hmc as well. If I ever come to Leicester, for sure I will come here again.

Visited this place on the weekend. Parking is conveniently right opposite the place (NCP), show the staff your ticket and you only need to pay £1. We were welcomed in an guided to a seating area, good atmosphere, not too loud, not too quiet. Nice decor all round and decent view if you get a window seat. Food arrived quick after ordering. Steaks are the best we've had in Leicester. Beef ribs are also the best I've ever had, meat falling off the bone, tender as anything, can literally pull it apart. Sauce on the beef ribs was nice too. Lamb chops were pretty good, cooked well and good flavour. Mojito was good, dry ice in it and juice comes separate so you can enjoy the theatrics of the smoke from the dry ice and you pour the juice. Overall 9/10.

Travelled from Birmingham to eat here, and honestly it was worth the trip. Starters were great, nice presentation, the crispy chicken could have been crisper, but still good. The mains were great, steak was cooked perfectly, plus the sliders is a great option. They give you steak how it's meant to be, not the thin flat steak you get everywhere in Birmingham, they gave a decent sized and thick steak, just how it should be. Drinks were amazing too, we got the smokey mock tails, strawberry and the blue lagoon, unlike alot of other restaurants in Birmingham, these tasted perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful, fast service, food doesn't take too long to come either. Will definitely be going back!

Five of us dined at this place. We enjoyed our time. The starters were well flavoured, the mains (steaks) were perfect and didn’t have any odd taste or smell but well textured. All in all, a great experience. We travel up and down the country and visit many restaurants etc. this place is definitely worth a visit. One of the best places to eat in Leicester. I highly recommend the steak. Service was excellent especially the young gentleman that was serving us. Visiting Leicester for the day from Peterborough, me and my friend stopped here for some food at around 5:20pm. We were greeted with friendly staff who showed us to our table, and given a menu each. The menu was descriptive and very reasonably prices, and I ordered a starter of lamb chops. Three chops were brought out on a plate, alongside a small side salad. The lamb was juicy and pink, with a very tasty and peppery glaze to them. I tried to be civilised and use a knife and fork, and managed to get quite far before embracing my inner caveman and gnawing at the bones. The side salad was crisp and light, with a somewhat sweet dressing, and was very refreshing alongside the lamb chops. The main was a ribeye cooked as blue as they were allowed to serve, with chunky steak chips, side salad and a mushroom sauce. The steak was so tender, I hardly needed a knife. I could just pull it apart with my fork, and it was cooked to perfection. The chips were crispy and golden, with a light and fluffy inside, and the side salad was as described above. The sauce was a rich, mushroomy blend that coated the chips I poured it over, and perfectly complimented them. With my stomach full, the whole meal came to a very agreeable £26, and we were given a mint chocolate to round off the meal. The owner came over to talk to us after the meal, and he's a Peterborough lad as well. A very approachable man, and it's clear he takes a lot of pride in his restaurant. And it's easy to see why, with the quality he provides

My husband and I visited here tonight with our two very young children. Right from when I made my reservation, through to arriving and ordering and leaving the staff were so polite/accommodating and most importantly quick with service. It’s the first time we’ve managed to go for a meal for 18 months and I was very anxious with two young children, but the food and staff at this restaurant was well worth it. I’d also say they are very reasonably priced and it has been by far the best fillet steak I have had in a long time - can’t wait to visit again!

The only downfall for us, was that all drinks were served in bottles with straws. A glass to pour into and drink from would have been much more suitable to maintain the classy feel of the restaurant. Fillet was fantastic. Juicy. I recommend asking for caramelised onions on the sizzler instead of the regular salad hotplate. Pepper corn sauce also a must. The creamy mash was really good and the short rib starter was tender and beautifully cooked (only thing I would say is the flavour was a bit sweet and strong).

Most Amazing Ribs! Travelled from Birmigham with my friends as someone recommended the place. We ordered 2 conbo platters, crispy chicken and lamb chops for starters. For mains, we ordered the Signature Ribs, which were worth the trip. Staff were amazing, knew what they were doing. Best Ribs and customer service in Leicester. Very very nice food specially the starters I would recommend the Crispy Chicken starters and the Crispy Prawns, the staff are very friendly and the service is out of this world, I am surprised I never discovered this place before. Only complaint I have is the ambient could do with better lick of paint, too dark for my liking. Otherwise this is at least a 4 star restaurant, oh also they need to serve the desert up in the restaurant rather than people having to go downstairs and be disappointed when there is a England match on or any other major sports event, and you can't get sitted because the wait is 45 mins.

The best steak ever! Honestly better then all steak restaurants in London & Bham. Seasoned and cooked perfectly. Very good portion and prices are fair. Best steakhouse in Leicester We made a booking for 20 people has it was my older brothers surprise birthday party This place go out their way for their customers so kind and lovely staff They had tables set with fruit dates and water And even though we were not fasting the Ower brought some over to us as well and said its for everyone which was so kind of him. The starters were so delicious and tasty we had the combo platter's with crispy chicken Never ever I had ribs so soft and tender We had all of the steaks on sizzlers and hot plates and got burgers aswell To get 15 steaks cooked to perfection on a very busy night hats off to this chef Amazing flavous The Peppercorn and mushroom sauce are so nice As it was a alcohol free restaurant The moctails were so tasty not the flat ones you get in other places with lots of ice. Only in Leicester for 1 night and this was our choice for dinner. The high rating scores is definitely not deceiving and is an accurate reflexion of the quality of food and service we received. From the starter to dessert, we enjoyed every part of our meal. We arrived close to opening so the restaurant was not busy at the time so our food came quickly and the service felt more personal. Faz, who is the owner and was serving us was very welcoming and made the experience that much better.

OMG wow this is my new go to place. I ordered a sirloin steak from here using deliveroo and I've got to say I was well impressed. I've ordered steak from other places and come nowhere close to what I've had tonight. I was looking for a restaurant quality steak (difficult on a delivery site) but these knocked it out of the part. The steaks I've had before have been described as sirloin but come delived like a thin minute steak (i am aware this is also sirloin) with no flavour but the flavour in the steak I've had tonight was amazing. One thing missing from the menu which I was surprised at was a decent standard coleslaw that would've been amazing. Thankyou guys honestly. I'm a very fussy eater but this was great thankyou again.

We had a fantastic dinner at Steak and Lounge, the waiting staff were very alert and helpful and the owner was very friendly and made some great suggestions. The beef ribs here are amazing and the steak was cooked to perfection (picture not available) they also do a gourmet garlic mash which was buttery and creamy. Overall I was very pleased and if I'm over at Leicester again I will definitely try this place again!

Wow just WOW! Words can’t describe how brilliant this place really is. We went from Sheffield for the first time it was a pleasant transaction from start to finish! All the staff was lovely and welcoming, the manager came over regularly to see how we was getting on to see if the food was to our standards and even upon leaving came to say thank you and goodbye. By far the best restaurant I’ve ever been to the customer service/food 20/10!! We Crispy chicken and Lamb chops for starters which was to die for! For mains we had the Chicken supreme and I had the T-Bone Steak everything was cooked to perfection! The mocktails are a must with the smoke effect 👌🏼 You’ve tried the rest now come try the BEST!! 😍

Decent above average place Popped over the two of us to check it out after seeing it posted on social media Location - in city centre in Leicester, you can park at the NCP car park next to the restaurant and they can validate your parking, so parking is free which is best of all! Decor - Downstairs is a sheesha lounge and main restaurant is upstairs. Decor is really nicely done and looks stunning and quite posh 10/10 for decor Food - Food is average above average nothing to complain about nor nothing to wow or praise about it is just okay. We ordered starter platter for two which consists of 3 prawns 2 wings and a huge beef rack with some salad. The portions was huge and was worried i would struggle with the mains, surprisingly it was just enough and not overfilling Prawns was delicious Wings was okay Rib rack was average not much flavour so bit dissapointed but nonetheless it was ok Mains we ordered sirloin steak and gazebo chicken both small portions but just enough to leave you not too full or not too hungry, they got it spot on with the portion sizes Chips was okay too Drinks ordered were the mocktail with dryice that gives the smokey effect lovely drink which was more than enough (considering other places gives you little) Service was great the gentlemen at the front desk i assume looked like the manager was lovely and friendly and accomodating excellent service Being from out of town 100miles away i would not come here just for the meal if you want to make a day out of it and eat there that work well. But average place no complaints and no big praises. They accept amex which is great and cards too!

Had a fantastic night out with my bf. The food was truly excellent and only surpassed by the hospitality. We were made to feel truly welcome. Had a ribeye steak each and the mushroom starter (only recommended for serious garlic lovers - it was great but only if you are REALLY into garlic). The smokey drinks are also great, and provide quite the spectacle.

Nice Lovely location with good views of the city centre, excellent and attentive service. A good set menu with plenty to choose from, I would suggest the dry ice Mojitos. Very friendly and fast service, food arrived within 15 mins or so, and was cooked perfectly even the kids enjoyed their burgers, something they don’t usually end up finishing. I had a lovely meal here with friends. We were shown to our table and then greated by the owner who introduced himself to us. All of the staff were polite and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone enjoyed their food I had an Aberdeen Angus fillet steak with chips and salad with mushroom sauce £22.50. The steak was beautiful, so tender and full of flavour. The chips were very tasty too.

At first looks from outside it seems like a place smoked up with shisha but really it’s condensation and just windows that need a good clean. Despite this, I heard good things about this place. The staff are young lads that are great at what they do. The food however, I’m not sure I can say the same. It looks very appetising but it’s lacking in the flavour department. Let’s start with the starters, where it all starts. The King Of Prawns were great, it had a nice garlic crisp on the outside and great sauce to compliment it all. Moving on to the mains, I asked for medium rare fillet and my friend asked for well done fillet. We both got a perfect cook on our steak. The texture of the steak was really good compared to a lot of the other halal steakhouses. Extremely tender and soft. There was this peppery and spicy taste which, yes, whilst it was seasoned to an extent it was very overpowering. The sauce did help counter that but it was so overpowering. I really feel like it was lacking salt and many other seasonings that could really complete the steak.

Brilliant food and brilliant service. You feel welcomed the moment you enter the steakhouse. Definitely recommend checking out if you're in the area. For drivers it's 2 minutes walk to the NCP carpark. For bus users, it is right opposite the bus station.

This was one of the most amazing food experiences I have had in a very, very long time. And since the owner found out it was mine and my husband's cheat day, after a long time on a diet, he brought us a taste of their ribs, on the house. We had then had both starter and main. But those ribs were otherworldly. We had nachos and buffalo wings between us for starters, and a lovely burger on a brioche bun for main. And the burger alone was a reason to come back. But having sampled those ribs, I suspect the steak part of the menu is more than worthy of exploration. Definitely coming back, and when I get my parents over from Norway, we are, for sure, taking them here.

We visited the restaurant midweek so it was quite. A very pleasing decor, friendly staff. Talking about the food, we had crispy chicken and mixed platter. Best starter we have ever had. Chicken was full of flavour and the platter meat was very tasty. The main meal was not only tasty but the portion was seriously generous. I visited when it first opened and it wasn't the best. I thought I'd try again after 18 months and wow what a transformation. A group of friends went so were got to try a few things. The filet steak was amazing we had it medium and it was juicy and tender, the mash it came with was perfectly smooth and creamy. We tried the mini sliders, they were not mini and came like 3 burgers!! The ribs were also amazing, meat literally falling off the bone and lovely bbq sauce. Will definitely be coming back now. Nice interior and they play modern up to date music. But other than that, I received slow service, the food was cold, the main and starter came separately when we had asked for them to come together. The chicken dish I had was delicious but ribs we had were tough to bite through due to being burned, it felt like I was chewing tree bark. Brilliant Steaks, wonderful decoration with a water feature wall and amazing Service and Atmosphere. Best Steak i've had in Leicester for a long time. No messing around with your Steak over here, no overpowering of flavours or being served on a sizzler for your meat to cook to death! Fresh and very lightly seasoned, Highland Angus Beef. I had my Sirloin medium cooked and it was done to perfection. Sorry i had to review the steak first.. Oops. For starters i opted for the combo platter which consisted of deep fried Prawns, Chicken wings and the most tastiest beef Rib i've ever tried. I happened to bump in to the owner, Jamal, a very pleasant gentleman who explained how some of the meats are slow cooked for few hours, using natural methods without any preservatives or meat tenderizing means. This was evident as i indulged in my Beef Rib, the bone just glided away from the meat and melted in the mouth. Definately my go to place from now on. Oh i was also given a tour of the premises, they have a Shisha (hookah smoking lounge downstairs) for the mature crowd, a place to enjoy good food and socialise all under one roof. Sorry for limited pics the Sirloin was gone before i could pull out my phone!

Both my friend and myself enjoyed a warm welcome and pleasent evening meal at the steak and lounge ,we started our meal with a shared plate of the house rib ,plenty for two and delicious!!I had I t bored steak and my friend the sirloin, he was particularly catered for as he is diabetic so instead of chips ,a selection of mixed vegetables was no trouble to change for him ,,will definitely go again when in Leicester. Been to this restaurant twice and all I can say is in terms of the quality and taste of the food this place cant be beaten (my recommendation medium rare fillet steak with peppercorn sauce). It doesnt matter what you choose off the entire menu you will not be disappointed. In terms of customer service, I have never seen such immaculate attentive service from EVERY member of staff. Kam you have truly done an amazing job - a true testament of what a good owner should be! All your staff were genuienly happy to be at work and their level of service truly reflected that. I was travelling for work and was highly recommended to visit Steak And Lounge on my way (even though it was not on route to my destination). Not a big steak fan either but after reading the reviews thought to try it out. We had the Italian chicken pasta with crispy prawns and got the fillet steak. And... WOW! The starter was reasonably priced, and the so so tasty (best ribs I've ever had)! The steak was tender and juicy and so soft you could cut it with a butter knife. I have to give a hats off to the manager Kam for the great service he has provided to me, I called a night before as I was meeting a few friends for dinner the next day, I asked him if the Sea Bass on the menu had thorns/ bones. Kam ensured that the Sea Bass had no thorns. I have to admit that the Sea Bass was mesmerising, it was the best Fish I have ever had thus far and so was the Platter for 2 as a starter. Amazing service. Travelled down from Birmingham yesterday. We ordered 2 sirloin steaks and a chicken steak, all of which were cooked beautifully. They were served with crispy with an amazing soft centre triple Cooked chips and a nice side salad. All the food was amazing and was topped of with amazing service with the owner ensuring everyone had an amazing experience. After we went downstairs to the lounge where we had the best masala tea I have ever tasted and I am very particular about my tea. We chose the recommended shisha which was sweet and perfect choice for our group. Topped of with the best dessert I have ever had (and I’ve had a lot). The dessert was a piece of chocolate fudge cake surrounded by Oreo bits with a scoop of ice cream on top encased in a white chocolate dome served with warm chocolate sauce, fresh cream and strawberries. All of which create a heavenly feeling in your mouth. Here again the owner was very involved ensuring everyone had an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend visiting both the restaurant and the lounge.

This place is so good! Very classy setting. Excellent service and food comes in very good time. The staff are really polite and they're not too in your face like some places haha. And I really enjoyed the The Tomahawk steak. Grab yourself one because the meat is very rare to get a hold of! My brother is vegetarian and he had the Meat Free burger and he said it was really good. If you're not a fan of pineapple in your burger, just ask to remove it because that one will otherwise come with it.

Wow! What can I say, every time I've eaten here I've had an amazing experience. This is the best steakhouse in Leicester, comparable or even better than restaurants in London. The staff portray the best customer service I've received all whilst serving pitch perfect steaks. I was very excited about visiting this restaurant after reading the amazing reviews on here, with some saying it was the best steak they had ever tried. On arrival I was impressed by the interior design, ambiance and the friendly staff. I ordered something a friend had tried and had recommended. I ordered the steak medium, as I was told by the waiter that this would be succulent, without being too bloody. The food arrived very quickly and it looked very appealing, but unfortunately it was downhill from here. The piece of meat was quite thin, and when I tried to cut into it I could tell it was overcooked as it was tough. I normally get meat medium well and it was well over this. The meat was chewy and lacked flavor. The peppercorn sauce and chips were very nice though, these are both charged as extra. At the end when the waiter came I mentioned this to him and then when someone more senior came to take our payment he apologised, saying that the chef probably left it for a few extra minutes on 1 side. The price was good for steak in Leicester, but based on my experience you can definitely get better steak in other establishments. Im not sure why my steak was so overcooked, as all of the reviews were so positive. We were the only people in the restaurant so they definitely wernt busy. The food was probably a 2/5 for me, but the rest of the dining experience was very good. As I feel the most important aspect is the food I have given them a 3.

I went there over a month ago and the place looks amazing. Really nice decour, it looks like a lot of money was put in the place and it shows. Probably the best looking restaurant/steak house in East Midlands. The food was good, steak was cooked well however it did taste a bit plain. A little more flavour would've made it perfect. Lamb chops need a lot of improvement. All in all however, really enjoyed my vist and will come again!

Food was okay. Service was mediocre. We went as a large group of about 24 people and it was obvious they couldn't cope with that much people. Food was delayed that I got my starter and main at the same time. Carpark ticket that was meant to be redeemed by the restaurant was not done properly and we had to go back and pay at the ticket machine after waiting at the exit gate couple of minutes. It wasn't a great experience. If I do go again maybe not as a large group then I will give another review.

Went here yesterday with the mrs on date night. From the moment we walked in it was 10/10. The owner was on site and on hand. Made us feel like we were the only people in the reataurant and food came out at a reasonable time. Enjoyed the food soo much we decided to stay for shisha. Other half was a little cold and so we were seated in the staff corner away from the younger teen groups. Again owners shisha recomendation was spot on for what we wanted. Only concern we had was parking but even that was taken care of with free parking validation. Couldnt fault the place or staff for anything in my time there. Exquisite - Went to Steak and Lounge for date night with my wife who is a vegetarian. We somewhat struggle to find somewhere that caters for both our diets, but refreshingly this place does. We walked into the entrance and instantly we were greeted warmly by one of the staff. Entered the restaurant and we were amazed by the beautiful decor and attention to detail in regards to the incredible set up along with the view from the restaurant whilst dining, looking across the city skyline. We were escorted to our seats and were not rushed by the staff to place our order. The owner Faz who was just brilliant came over to make sure our experience was a memorable one, and made some excellent recommendations. My wife went for the mushroom starter along with the vegetarian burger as her main. I chose the BBQ wings starter and the house special S&L burger as my main. The mushroom starter was rich and creamy, full of flavour and the vegetarian burger was of a premium quality and not something from Mcdonalds. My wife also had a smoky passion and lychee mojitos which she said was divine. My starter was cooked to perfection with the sticky sauce on the wings tantalising and the meat just coming off the bone with ease. My S&L burger had a fusion of flavours coupled with the crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside triple cooked chips. For dessert we opted for one of their in house chocolate domes which again did not disappoint. Flavoursome with the warm chocolate being poured over the dome makes it all theatrical, but the chocolate mixed with the fruits inside complements the tastes and adds to the burst of different aromas. After our meal we decided to go downstairs to the Shisha Lounge and once again the decor and effort put into the place was mesmerising. Jamal came over to give us a recommendation on the Shisha and I can honestly say that it was the best smoke I have had in a long time. The smoke was not harsh and it lasted for a very long time. All in all it was an amazing evening with quality food, deserts and Shisha all under one roof at a very reasonably price. What was an added bonus was that Faz handed me a pre-paid NCP parking ticket which made my parking literally opposite the restaurant completely free. Definitely recommend a visit to this place to anyone who wants a quality meal at a very reasonable price. Well done to the Steak & Lounge team.WELL DONE.
