A lovely decorated barn, very comfortable, with a gorgeous outdoor courtyard for those sunny days! We were served a superb breakfast, service was excellent. Coffee’s were delicious. This is a great for breakfast and lunch. Not open after that and closes about 5pm. The quality of food is really good here and the service pods on each table are a genius idea so that you can pres the required button when you need some service. The decor here is really good too with the original features of the barn being used. Definately recommend for a breakfast, brunch or lunch date.

Top quality English Breakfast with all the traditional elements. The big one comes with lovely Black Pudding. I had a latte and my partner had a sparkling apple juice and all was excellent. A great place for a meal. We had brunch for four of us each one had a different item and each one was excellent even the bacon sandwich was very good. There was nothing left on any plate at the end.They are very good at catering for children. I would definitely recommend booking when it’s not warm enough to sit outside. As the inside is smallish and fills up very quickly. The prices are quite expensive but the quality of the food more than justifies the cost.

It's always a pleasure to be at the Tithe Barn whatever the time of year. Thanks to the chef and waitress who made sure I could still eat the beautiful food even with a milk and soya free diet! The beef burger and bacon tasted so good together! Also the decaf oat milk iced latte was divine, I have now had 2 and will be back for more.

We went there today for the 1st time for some lunch with my husband, the service was Okish but could be a lot better. The cutlery was just put on the table which could of been laid out instead. Got tap water instead of bottled water which I did not ask for. The menu didn’t have a lot to choose from apart from burgers or sandwiches, they had three salads to choose from and the home made slaw was too wet. Nothing to say yeah that’s really nice. Then on top was some salad leafs and a couple of cherry tomatoes cut in half and some herb grill chicken which was nice and tasty. The bruschetta with tomato and mozzarella on chiabatte Bread was again nothing special, it had no garlic on the bread and tomato was tasteless! Iced latte drink was just milk and coffee, I think it mayhave been watered down a bit. Needs something a bit more . For the prices it should be ALOT Better. I will go back again to try the burger because it is a cosy relax atmosphere sitting outside in the court yard and the sun was shining

Nice place to relax outside. I went up on my motorbike, had a coffee and watched the world go by for an hour. Staff and the people are friendly. Wide variety of food and drink, cakes look lovely. Bit on the pricer side but it's expected for the location and the service. Would definitely come here again. Oh and great coffee too!!

I thought the place was nice relaxed atmosphere and great service. Although I was over whelmed by the smell of urine in outside area. Probably wasn't urine but it smelt like that and the next table said it was the fake bushes that was giving off the smell. As for the food was way over priced l, £14 for a very average burger is too much.. Cheaper in London and the pizza was very basic average, had better from aldi. Which is a shame as the place has so much potential as the staff were great and lovely and lovely surroundings just the food for me at that price point didn't reflect the establishment

It wasn’t a napolitana pizza to cut with hands, neither a Roman one to come in slices in your plate but I would have the technique reviewed. Went here for breakfast this morning and very much enjoyed it. Never been here before and I think it's such a lovely, cute place to go for food but also would like to return to even just have a coffee and cake as there seems to be a really nice selection to choose from. I loved all the Christmas decorations, made it feel very cosy. Food was delicious and quite a range of things to choose from. Will definitely be coming back.

What a treasure this place is. Wonderful service and amazing food. We had a few difficulties in booking but it was a large party with a variety of requirements. Adam was brilliant in organising this after a few teething problems initially. Would recommend the breakfast. Can't wait to come again in the summer, the courtyard looks stunning!!!

Great food and nice atmosphere. The food is split into times, for instance arriving at 2pm meant we could choose off the Deli menu as well as the Lunch menu. I had the Tithe Burger and is was very nice, home made burger with all the trimmings.

And dogs aren't allowed inside, although they do have water bowls for them in the courtyard. They do take away coffees as well if you're out for a walk in the nearby park/area.

Excellent fried breakfast and selection of teas July 2020 update: With this Covid situation one isn't able to sit in, but they are currently open Friday to Sunday for take away or delivery. The menu has a good selection, We went for the burgers which were the best I've tasted in a long while. We are ordering again this weekend.

The food was amazing, but the service was awful. . We had booked a table and two extra people along. The place was not fully booked and instead of being grateful for the extra business the staff (one middle aged lady in particular) were so rude that we considered leaving. We received such a telling off that other tables were looking and had they been fully booked we would have said fine the extra people won't join. We very much enjoyed our Sunday Lunch at the Tithe Barn, it's an impressive old building with delicious feed and good service. We had the Veggie Wellington which came with a big Yorkshire pudding and loads of Veg. Food served at just the right pace for a leisurely lunch with old friends. Piece of advice, make sure you book. Thought we would be ok arriving when they open on a Saturday, they managed to find us a table but it was time limited so if you want to sample their delicious food make sure you book

Mixed, food and service were good although my wife's bacon was too crispy. The heating was not working. I had to eat with coat, gloves and scarf on. When we said we were cold the reply was a rather off - hand statement that they were having an issue with the heating.

Excellent place to go. It is very picturesque with the 14th Century church in the background as you walk up the driveway. Parking is at a premium with a few spaces on offer although there is on-road parking nearby. There is seating inside and outside. The outside is situated in a lawn garden setting with a pathway leading to the main door. Each table outside has its own parasol when it is sunny. Inside you are greeted with a cake counter and the very friendly staff will greet and seat you. We went for breakfast but they do offer lunch and dinner menus also. The friendly staff took our order promptly from the table side and the food took no more than 15 - 20 mins to come. The bigger breakfasts come with a free coffee or tea included were as the smaller dishes the drinks are an additional charge. The portions were reasonable and hot and the tea is leaves not your normal bag in water. We had eggs benedict and the largest breakfast with 2 pots of tea, one free the other paid for. The bill came to £25, a lot to pay for breakfast personally but you are paying for premium ingredients and the environment. The restaurant is a nice place to be with some old Cosby photos lining the walls.

The restaurant can be very busy at times 'cos there's nothing like it in the area. It seems very popular with the chaterati and can be noisy. I had a very sad burger which didn't appear to have been freshly prepared. However, the Spanish (?) waiter couldn't have been nicer.

The village setting of this old barn, now converted to a cafe / restaurant is a lovely place to sit in or out with a meal. Outside there are numerous table sets on the patio area with the barn being the backdrop. You place your order in the barn and without too long a wait you are served at your table. The menu is full of options and the portion sizes are medium to large so generous enough for those with big appetites. If you can't eat it all then they will wrap and bag for you to take home. A lovely dinning experience in a beautiful setting.

Great but could be fabulous! Wonderful atmosphere, great service and food. It reminds me of Chesters By The River in Ambleside (I was there a few days ago) except that Chesters is big but has queues down the street and Tithe has plenty of tables available. Chester’s menu is 100% vegan but the menu doesn’t mention the word vegan. Tithe also has a selection of vegan food but it’s labelled vegan (they might want to try Chester’s apprisch as it is PACKED and I’m pretty sure no-one is vegan!!). Also Tithe should think about freshly-squeezed drinks (theirs are packet), fresh smoothies (which seem to be from sorbet) and better coffee (espresso wasn’t great) so that drinks are up to the standard of food. But they’re still really good. I had a great breakfast. Otherwise a great visit to Tithe Barn!!!

I usually wouldn’t moan but considering I was only enticed to book a meal here as a welcome glass of Prosecco sold it to me, and as I was booking a birthday celebration for my friend I thought this might be a nice little touch, but the glass was not a welcome drink at all and we weren’t even offered it until we’d had our end of meal coffees by which time we just didn’t fancy it, very disappointed! Also whilst I’m on, the new potatoes served with the fillet of salmon where hard and also a suggestion for the cheese board would be less pickled onions and add a little pot of chutney or maybe a few grapes Apologies but if advertise something please adhere to it ! it !

Wonderful setting and lovely food Had lunch here and the food wasn't fast but it was good food as fast as they can... We were told on arrival what the lead time would be and we just had a drink and a chat whilst we waited... And it was worth the wait.. Had burger which was clearly fresh and well cooked, not burnt like you get at so many other places.. Staff were really friendly and helpful...general manager, Erin took time to talk to us and there is a real sense that they all work hard to make your time as enjoyable as possible.. Will definitely be coming back to this real gem...

Everything about this establishment is of absolutely the highest quality, from the staff, who are very welcoming, polite, friendly and attentive, to the most amazingly renovated tithe barn itself and of course the delicious food which is locally sourced. I would whole heartedly recommend this unique experience to anyone looking for somewhere to meet friends, family or for business meetings, birthdays etc. What a great experience I always have.
