My first Tim Horton's! The Breakfast Wrap was delicious, as was the Caramel Latte (w/ Oat Milk). The premises are light, clean and there's plenty if room. My only complaint would be the state of the Disabled Toilet/Baby Changing Room. It needed a good wipe round, and the hand drier was out of action. Would visit here again. Would definitely choose over McDonald's.

Used to be much better when it first opened, both in terms of service and quality of food. Don't know, maybe they've lost best employees during pandemic. My doughnut today didn't taste fresh at all and what happened to the white chocolate. White chocolate used to be a must for me when going there and now it's gone from the menu.

What a big surprise to find Canada's famous coffee and doughnut store in England! Going for your "Tim Hortons" is part of everyday life across Canada. And there is good reason for that as they make great doughnuts! It was nice to get my sugar rush from their delicious Tim Bits (mini assorted doughnuts).The star mark down was due to one of the doughnuts not being as fresh as you'd expect from T.H. But overall this was a fun trip down memory lane today (I miss Canada!).

My new favourite place for a quiet breakfast. Great very early in the morning as there is an abundance of seating upstairs. The £2.99 breakfast offers exceptional value and an extensive range of food and drinks. Far better than similar competitors like McDonald's next door - if you go to Tim Hortons, you probably won't go back to McDs for breakfast again.

Quality of the sausage egg muffin taste nicer than McDonald's. The appearance not so good - small and muffin top edges broken. Hash brown okay...bit flat. Downside in the seating areas: a few bodies sleeping or just hanging around making the place look unkempt and dirty. That could be improved with security.

Truly amazing, I've been to many Tim hortons in Canada with my Canadian wife this was our first UK tim hortons and its easily as good as being back in Canada, my wife was blown away with it, the building and interia was wow, so much different from any tim hortons canadian outlets which is basically a square block of a building the food was as good as any I've eaten in Canada but the building was somthing way above what Canada have, that's not a criticism by any means as the food is equally as good over the pond in Canada, oh yes a few goodies went home with us the famous Tim bits and a few other doughnuts a massive 10 out of 10 from us.

This Canadian coffee establishment is a good alternative to the usual coffee chain stores that we're all used too. So this new kid on the block actually does do great coffee. They also offer a big selection of freshly prepared donuts and Tim bits. They also do chicken burgers, wraps and paninis. The chicken is halal! Food wise they also do breakfast items at breakfast times. Seating is over 3 floors. They seem to be busy all the time. Customer service is friendly and fast and they are open until 12 midnight everyday. Well worth a visit I think. I think they will do really well in Leicester.

Been here a coupe of times and the first thing you notice is the variety of options that the menu has. The staff are really friendly and certainly know the menu and can make some good recommendations. As a fast food restaurant, wasn't sure what to expect, but the coffee, soup and food were really nice. Add to that the number of options you have for sauces and you're spoilt for choice! Very clean and attentive staff. Overall, a good choice to visit to grab something quick.

First time here. We had good off the breakfast menu. It has the same stuff as McDonald's but with a lot more variety. Of courseas a result of this, one would have to compare it head to head with McDonald's. I had a sausage and egg meal with hash brown + a sausage and egg bagel. The sausage, cheese and hash brown were less tasty than McDonald's by a mile in my opinion. Service however was extremely good and eating in offers for a cosy environment with very comfy chairs with plug ins for charging. Overall a pleasant experience but better alternatives out there.

I really like Tim Hortons so the two stars off here are purely for really bad service. They were prioritising self checkout orders. Which is fine except you can't order a maple iced latte on self checkout. They only did about one counter order every five minutes and they made it clear to people who complained (I wasn't one of them) that if they didn't like it they should use self checkout. It took over a half hour to order. I was happy with the coffee and doughnuts but the fact they were intentionally making it hard to order at the counter when the self checkout doesn't have everything was really disappointing. If they want to do that they should add the full menu to the self checkout.

First time there since the store opened. We stayed downstairs as I had my daughter with the stroller. I don't know if they have a lift but I doubt it. I had a tea and my husband a cappuccino. We tried the donuts as well , which was great. The coffee though very strong! Definitely going back! Love the fact that they stay open until late and also the fact that,they have savory flavours as well. A couple of things that I didn't like was that it was cold and although I got served very quickly behind the counter was so noisy!

Some time ago, I came to this new place, why get me something to eat and, because to be honest, I liked it immediately; in fact it seemed very bright to me,the menu offered by the house is varied, as are the different sauces that the customer can have as a side dish to the chosen dishes. Excellent maple syrup and hot chocolate, that are offered in this place. The only flaw to highlight is (not least in my opinion ) that when you arrive and hour before closing, the late customer, more often than not is forced, always if there is something left, to eat cold dishes. The staff is very nice and Welcoming. I recommend it, but don't go there in the last hours closing. Prices are not cheap, but are within the norm.

Food/drink is always going to be to an individual taste. The coffee was okay, the timbits depending on which flavour you choose are good and the breakfast wrap was very sweet, had a hint of maple to it, but didn't change my mind on fast food breakfast's (they are all no comparison to a real small café breakfast). A nice enough place to sit and relax with friends, with large comfortable seating areas. The food and drink selection is good enough but is more reminiscent of a fast food place than a traditional British coffee shop, the thing that detracts from the experience for me is the whole thing can feel a little rushed and lacks the personality you may get from a small coffee shop. However if you are just looking to get an iced drink and some really nice doughnuts that is no issue and this may be the place for you.

I mean it's not awful but its not worth all the hype around it. I dont understand why they ask if your eating in or taking away but serve everything in take-away containers and cups. Definitely would have a better experience with proper cups and plates. Food is mediocre at best. Had a porridge and it was just dry oats with water poured on top, not even mixed in. Wouldve been better next door! Coffee is okay but dont think I'll be back in a hurry.

This is only a 4* because of how disorganised it was due to the rushes of customers looking to get their Tim fix. It was freezing and queues were out the door. Some complimentary Tim bits or a mini hot drink would have been thoughtful to those who were standing in the queue especially as alot of those were elderly. Apart from that I was dealt with quickly at the till. order was hot and correct. The girl who served me did not give me a choice of Tim bits ordered I assume that's because of the rush. It will take some time to fix the customer service however I was content with everything I got. Atmosphere was hustling and bustling with lots of art on the walls 3 different floors to be seated on. Seats were comfortable and even had a baby changing room. I will definitely be making this my regular spot as long as the service is fixed.

History repeats itself as the building Tim Hortons has opened in is the same building that the former "The East Gates Coffee House" occupied. It which was designed by Architect Edward Burgess and was opened by the Duchess of Rutland in 1885. Thomas Cook (of Holiday firm fame), a devout Christian, was a founder member in 1877 of the Leicester Coffee and Cocoa Company Ltd., who ran it as well as other coffee houses around the City of Leicester. It's aims were to “establish houses, rooms, coffee carts and stalls” around Leicester to provide general refreshment. The East Gates provided a popular and profitable service for more than 40 years, but sadly closed soon after World War I. Good to see that that noble purpose is being carried on in this historic building again.
