Most diverse food menu ever ?!?! There’s so much choice and it’s completely vegan with the interior being such a cosy, accommodating space. Our food was incredible - I highly recommend the Shanti burger with a side of cheesy curly fries. The vegan cheese was potentially the best we’ve ever had. Side note - cash or bank transfer only which we weren’t aware of until going to pay with card. Not a big issue as there is a cash point not too far away but good to know in advance. Be sure to stop here!!!

Very cute bohemian little spot. Affordable menu, great choice of vegan food. Protein shakes and a wonderful cake selection too. Service was attentive and the satmosphere nice and relaxing. Would definitely visit again. They do take out too!

A wonderful little café in Lincoln - beautiful atmosphere with all the decorations and style of this place, really easy to book reservations, staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Being a vegan it's difficult to find places with decent vegan food, but here is fully vegan! A great range of food, including curries, burgers, pizzas, salads, fajitas, and more! Desserts are great too! Non-dairy ice cream was amazing and the smoothies are great too. Very affordable as well which is great. Faultless.

A cosy restaurant with amazing hospitality and excellent food. Food was delicious, reasonably priced, portions were very generous and worth every penny. I'm not vegan/vegetarian, and I did not expect to enjoy my food as much as I did. It tasted really delicious and fresh. Compliments to the chef! The hospitality was also really amazing. This restaurant really represents love, kindness and comfort. They treated us, our friends and our kids really kindly and even gave the children complimentary cake. We truly enjoyed ourselves and were grateful we choose to eat in here. We will definitely be going back again. This restaurant has my heart ❤️

Delicious food, lovely environment and friendly staff and fellow customers. We aren't vegan but thought we'd give it a try and were pleasantly surprised. Hubby had 3 curries, didn't miss meat at all and he loved each curry's flavour. I had Dahl from the specials menu which was divine. Extremely filling and amazing value for money. Will be trying the mountain burger next time, upon the recommendation of a fellow diner.

Soul Food It’s not just the food though that is good. (Presentation, value and freshness all 10/10) This cafe is ‘a safe space’, and is cosy, warm and aesthetically pleasing. The owners too, are warm, welcoming and happy to give cooking tips as well as share their recipes. Charity based, they are happy to give a free meal to anyone hungry and in food poverty, so if you ever need to escape the city centre, you need Cafe Shanti. I ever want to leave. ❤️✌🏻

We visited as a party of 5 on 11th Nov 2018. 2 of our party are vegetarians and had been before. Lovely food, plenty of choice good atmosphere and great service. We did take our own wine as it was a bit of a celebration.

Absolutely amazing. Being a meat gluten everything eater I was a little dubious about a Vegan cafe. Wow was I disabused. I had a lovely curry. Brilliant smoothie. The surrounding are amazing with wall handing that both comfort and inspire. Service was excellent. Price reasonable. These guys need to start up a chain. Even if you remove the fact that this was 100% vegan food - it was delicious food. The burger, salad, bun, cheese and sauce ratio was spot on! Wedges lovely and the cheesecake...WOW NOW factor in that this was a vegan meal from a trusted local source, from a 5* hygiene rated kitchen, delivered promptly and hot, in almost entirely recyclable packaging and you have to double your WOW. For me the biggest test is maintaining quality, so I look forwards to the next meal with anticipation, and will top up my review accordingly but for now WOW WOW WOW and thank you.

Absolutely superb. I would honestly order from this place every day, although a month of eating their cheesecake would likely leave me in a sorry state. I wouldn't care though, as it's amazing. The fajita was perfectly seasoned and tasted delightful, and the jackfruit massala on my hot dog was full of flavour. If you are thinking of ordering, DO IT

I cannot recommend cafe Shanti highly enough. This is an amazing vegan cafe, they also do frozen meals to take away! Once defrosted, the meals are just incredible, plus it's so convenient to have when you want. Their takeaway food and drinks are just amazing, with so many different varieties of meals. They now do vegan pizzas, hot dogs, as well as their usual range of curries, veg or sausage stews....with vegan warm drinks...it's just amazing. Give them a call as they do deliveries!!

Fantastic veggie/vegan restaurant with a great, friendly atmosphere and stunning food. We were so happy with our meal, we went back the next day. it is clear what is vegan and there is lots of choice- i recommend the not chicken fajitas which were divine- very good vegan grated cheese too, some of the best i have ever tasted. What can I say... probably the best vegan food weve ever eaten. PLEASE help support this local buisness, times are not easy. If your tired of just having a vegan burger and chips and want a full menu with a variety of authentic currys, unique burgers, fajitas, desserts and drinks. The smoothies are amazing and many dishes are boosted with protein to keep those macros balanced. The venue and decor itself is like stepping into a Nepalese themed chill out tent at a festival. Really sets the tone. The owners Tracy and Gary were lovely, we left feeling like we had made new friends. Great to chat too and even gave us a gift to celebrate our honeymoon. We will be returning next time we visit Lincoln, please support this buisness and grab yourself a banging family meal :)

I went in here for the first time last Saturday and we both had the Jackfruit Curry - It was absolutely delicious, we were already thinking about going Plant Based for Feb and now we know we can get a decent Vegan meal out we have decided to go ahead. The Cafe is small so would recommend booking as we saw them turn a few people away. Whether you're a vegan or not, this place offers a very different dining experience. The decor is fantastic, the food is delicious and the service is very friendly and courteous. Are you a meat eater? are you vegan? are you Vegi? When it comes to the food I just ordered, it really doesn't matter what your dietary preferences are. Cafe Shanti's food is in a league of its own. I implore you to try it out. The food is bursting with flavour, colour and passion. The delivery time was fast. The portions are really good. The cheese and jackfruit is pure witchcraft... had to double check Shanti was vegan (genuinely). I can't wait to try the rest of the menu, I am hooked!

Been here a couple of times now over last few years, and always really enjoyed it! Food can sometimes take a while to arrive, but not a big issue, as it's always delicious once it arrives. Atmosphere is small and cosy and decorations are beautiful!

The ambience, service and quality of food is not only of the highest standard but provides the customer with a unique experience lacking in these days of conveyor-belt food outlets. The menu shows both creativity and imagination in providing a wide choice of vegan and vegetarian fare. Having eaten at numerous such restaurants both here in the UK and further afield, I would place Cafe Shanti up there at the top. It's also worthwhile remembering that the authenticity of the ambience is rooted very much in Nepal, a country that the cafe and its owner have very close links to through the Lincs2Nepal charity.

The best vegetarian and vegan food in all of Lincoln! The staff here are always warm and welcoming, and the food is comforting, diverse and always made with love. I make a point of visiting this hidden gem every time I'm in Lincoln. Highly recommended dishes - Sweet potato fries, chickpea daal, lasagne and pretty much ALL of the amazing cakes on offer (which you can see in the window of the cafe). Cafe Shanti are also happy to box up your food to take away, which is great if you want veggie food on your lunch break!
