From the minute we walked in here to the minute we left, we loved it. The atmosphere, the staff, especially James "the beard" barman, the food oh wow. The cocktails were amazing, think we tried quite a few of them. We ate beautiful freshly cooked food, that tasted devine. The bruscetta and calamari were delicious melt in your mouth calamari, i had the pasta and meatballs and for someone whose not a pasta lover, i loved this. ❤ Well worth a visit

We have been here when it was just a day time place which is always gorgeous my favourite breakfast halloumi tower. So we decided to try Amo Trattoria for an evening meal and we were not disappointed. We ordered the specials starter a king prawn in chilli and garlic, just heavenly and there was no peeling shells as it had been done so it was so easy to eat. As well as this we got the trio Brushetta who knew 3 ways of doing this classic would be so tasty and light. Then the mains i ordered the Lasagne which can be hit and miss but this was a hit just like mama used to make,just gorgeous. My partner ordered the mains special which was Tuna with capers in a lovely sauce packed with flavour with a side of chips,again another empty plate. I was full but couldn't resist the Calonni filled to the brim and a scoop of ice cream,just delightful. The ambiance was chilled and relaxing, staff friendly and informative. We will definitely come here again bringing friends and family to enjoy all Amo has to offer.

We called into day for the first time 10th November 2022 about 1.30pm.. omg it was amazing very friendly staff the food was was lovely I ordered a chicken milanese chiabatta & Huby ordered BLT & we got salt & pepper chips between us we both ended up bringing half our food home... the only bit of suggestion I would give is for the Red cabbage in the salad to be cut up a bit more....

It was OK but not amazing. The pizzas were large with tasty toppings but very, very salty and the bread too thick and chewy so quite hard to finish. £6 for a tiny portion of broccoli leaves was a bit of a rip. Service was just OK. We felt rushed at first but later when we wanted more drinks we fount it hard to get anyone's attention and when we eventually flagged a young man down he looked a bit flustered and irritated. Our group was overall happy enough with the food but it was not cheap and we agreed we probably wouldn't go back.

Staff were lovely and despite all tables being full they were attentive and took it all in their stride. A good selection of drinks and a cute little bar. We ordered starters and mains, the food was nice and was well presented. The garlic pizza bread and pizzas were very good with soft thick dough and lots of toppings.

I called with my daughter in just before 9am 14th Dec , bought two breakfast wraps tea and coffee £16.00 . I told the staff that I thought something was wrong with the cheese in the wrap, the staff replied that they had asked my daughther if everything was ok, she replied it was mature cheddar we only use mature cheddar. I went to pay and the staff looked half asleep served other customers out of turn before me, even though l had been standing there for a 2 minutes before the other customers. l Definitely will not be going again it tasted inedible.

Been a few times recently and always get a warm welcome from the staff. Menu has a good variety of classics and house specials. Food always fresh and of very good quality, the meatballs are a firm favourite. James 'the beard' barman does a great job serving the drinks and preparing some amazing cocktails. Lovely breakfast, vegetarian and standard English. Quality, fresh ingredients, thoroughly enjoyed, very chilled atmosphere. For me personally coffee is on the bitter side hence 4 stars not 5 but that's maybe just preference. Evening dining equally good, pizzas are delicious.

Popped in for a lunch as I'd not been before, and, if I'm honest, I wasn't expecting much, but I was really pleasantly surprised. A good selection of food choices on the lunch menu from sandwiches, and pasta. Plus really nice, attentive and helpful staff. My food was piping hot and arrived pretty quickly, the rest of my group were really happy with their choices too. Both had ciabatta sandwiches which were presented really nicely. All that wrapped up in a comfortable setting (made even more comfortable for me when the A/C was turned on 🤣), reasonable/comparable prices, lovely staff and local to home what's not to like! Oh, and the salt and pepper chips are delicious too! I'll definitely be going back and wish them every success!

I had the Eggs Benedict. Quick and cheerful service with a friendly atmosphere. Food was served within 10 minutes of ordering and was delicious and fresh. Also had a Latte which was as good as the food.

The staff were lovely. There was a wait for breakfast, which we were told about straight away, but it was full and very popular so it was understandable. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts (normal and veggie) were hot, filling and not greasy at all. Also very tasty!

Nice decor, friendly staff. A mostly Italian menu, though I would say the salt & pepper chicken wrap (which was delicious) could do with just a touch more seasoning. Other than that I can't fault place really. Only other hiccup we had was that it was cash only the day we went, but that's outside the restaurants control. Definitely recommend: in fact I already have to quite a few friends.

We have been here a few times since moving to the area, it's a nice decent sized café. The salt and pepper chicken wrap is amazing, and the hot chocolate is very good too. Of the things we have tried we have no complaints, delicious freshly made food when you fancy a treat. Looking forward to the new restaurant opening in the evenings.

Went for midweek lunch and everything was lovely. Bought family back for lunch on the Sunday and was disappointed to be honest. Felt like they were making do with what they had left over. Salt and pepper chicken had no flavour. Pudding was tasteless and looked like a defrosted readymade one that was served with squirty cream, which was horrible.

This place is brilliant. Especially at the moment, definitely covid secure. We both had full English which was totally delicious and a generous size. Kids on the opposite table had mega waffles, looked to die for. We both left like stuffed pigs needing a nap but content with full bellies . Decent brew as well big old pot and builders brew, not maiden's water!

Often have lunch here but last Saturday we had quite a long wait for our meals to arrive. When it did, it was lovely, as usual. The menu has some quite different things on it - I had pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. It was gorgeous, as was the coffee. Staff are always pleasant and helpful - the only negative thing is the decoration. The plaster has been hacked off the wall to about 30cm below the ceiling and just left. Strange, different but it doesn't affect the service or the food thank goodness!

My second visit to Amo Coffee house. I really like this place and it's friendly atmosphere. It's got various seating options . Comfy couches , chairs and benches. Great variety of breakfasts . Bacon and eggs etc, plus nice healthy options . I had smashed Avocado on toast with poached eggs and coffee. Friendly , helpful staff. Give it a go .

I’ve been to this cafe with my partner and we love it! Staff are friendly and attentive and the food was great. We’re expecting in November and I’m always craving a full English breakfast and they serve breakfast all day which is what made me want to go there initially. The place was doing very good business on a Wednesday morning which is justified by the fair prices, lovely coffee and the courteous staff. Food, prenentation and menu were good. We were surprised at how busy it was at 9.30am Staff were pleasant and there was disabled access too. Only honest negative I can share is that the hanging lights and pictures were grossly dusty with several large cobwebs dangling. Slightly off putting!
