A really lovely afternoon tea. Food was excellent and the restaurant did a great job catering for different dietary requirements. Helpful and attentive staff and a beautiful venue. Plan your car parking though as it's right in the middle of the city centre!

There were Beatles pictures all around the restaurant and they played Beatles music the entire time. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was a bit slow but otherwise great and friendly. It's a great small quiet restaurant. All the food and cocktails on the menu were in some way related to the Beatles as well.

(Translated) Here we were unfortunately disappointed. We ordered the Afternoontea in advance. I would have asked in writing for a gluten-free afternoontea, but this was ignored. This is not so bad for me, but annoying. The space assigned to us was right at the bar. We asked if we could have another seat but that was denied us for reservations. We were alone in the shop. The staff was very restless, which has unfortunately transferred to us. The sandwiches were unimaginative and I have never experienced at any afternoontea that you only get one scone. It was a pity, we expected more. (Original) Hier waren wir leider enttäuscht. Wir hatten den Afternoontea vorab bestellt. Ich hätte schriftlich um einen glutenfreien Afternoontea gebeten, dass wurde jedoch nicht beachtet. Bei mir ist das nicht ganz so schlimm, aber doch ärgerlich. Der uns zugewiesene Platz war gleich an der Theke. Wir haben gefragt, ob wir einen anderen Platz haben dürften aber das wurde uns verweigert, wegen Reservierungen. Wir waren alleine im Laden. Das Personal war sehr unruhig, was sich leider auf uns übertragen hat. Die Sandwiches waren einfallslos und ich habe noch bei keinem Afternoontea erlebt, dass man nur einen Scone reicht. Wirklich schade, wir hatten mehr erwartet.
