L. D.Impressed with this place tonight. We haven't been to an all you can eat in years and it did not disappoint. The food quality is excellent, fresh hot food by professional chefs. The only downside being a huge queue to get in where you pay first and then get stuck waiting for 30 - 40 minutes. They also let people behind us in based on their party size which I wasn't too impressed with. Regardless of this there's no denying it's a great restaurant.
S. D.Variety of choices for the lunch buffet, couldn’t try all! Delicious food, affordable and easy to locate. One of the best buffets in Liverpool for connoisseurs of oriental cuisine. It gets very busy, hence table reservation is highly recommended.
M. P.Oh man what a great place to eat and a big atmosphere.
So first things first, I glad I booked in advance because the queue was out of the door, luckily once in we were able to go straight in for a table. This I would recommend doing for all, though it's not saying that you wouldn't get a seat walking in as I didn't see anyone getting turned away.
The range off food available was vast and a great variety for all.
I think a good business aspect here was that you pay for your meal up front and then you buy your drinks at the bar so once you're done you ain't waiting around for anything.
I'll be returning to this place again at a different location, so hopefully I have the same experience

After shamefully waiting in a queue outside for it to open (definitely check opening times), and getting loads of remarks from passersby ("are they all waiting in queue for a buffet?!"), we paid our £17 and went in.
Firstly, the place is massive. There must have been hundreds of people and it didn't feel crowded.
Secondly, a fantastic selection of Asian cuisines, from the usual Chinese and curries, to a teppenyaki grill where the chef cooks your selection there and then. The missing bit was a distinct lack of sushi - sort it out lids. There's even a sushi section, but it had some other stuff in instead.
Plenty of food for your annoying kids too - nuggets, chips, etc. The dessert selection is extensive as well, so would recommend saving a bit of room.
Only complaint is that we ate too much and our night out was over by 730 haha.
R. U.Unfortunately to keep this review up to date I have had to change my rating. Bon pan used to be a lovely place to visit for a meal on my trips to Liverpool was I was left a little disappointed on my last visit. Bon pan now do not offer refillable drinks as they had done previously, I understand the business has probably struggled during the pandemic but when I arrive for opening the restaurant filled up quickly. The refillable drinks was a staple to the restaurant that no one else offered and I was really sad to see it go.
Friendly staff are friends and will happily take dishes from your table to avoid any mess. The food is all you can eat and even with the pandemic you are able to walk up and select your own food. Some people wear masks and others don't. Like I say it does fill up fast so there is no social distancing in place.
Also another stable they offer is the fresh stir fry to be cooking in from of you. You select what noodles and veg you want and hand them over to be cooked with some meat. This is amazing to watch and it normally a grate experience. However on my last visit I was not even asked about sauce or anything like normal and was serviced dry noodle with chicken and unfortunately the chicken wasn't cooked all the way through and I was unable to eat it. I wasn't expecting it to be pink in the middle It seemed like a really waste of food, and I hated the waste.
Some of the food is love and the staff can be amazing, they all wear masks and this helped me feel alittle more comfortable. it's just a shame that the restaurant has changed so much as I used to love my visits here.
J. G.Love coming here, went to town to go shopping but really it was an excuse to go to Bon pan. Food is gorgeous quality, so many dishes to chose from. It does get busy but that is expected because it's the best all you can eat in liverpool. When it is busy, you can be waiting a while for a table but again that's kind of expected it seems everyone wants to be there. Only downside is that they don't offer refillable drinks any more so that kind of racks up the spend- apologies for the only pic I took

A. H.Korma & Tikka dishes were very.... well rubbish. Food is at decent quality given its a buffet, you get what you pay for + a bit more.
The lack of dairy free desert options was very frustrating for my good lady with a choice of either jelly or fruit as the only options.
Nice to see the allergens information on each dish and prices were reasonable.
D.Probably too impressed with this today. This was a buffet where most people love but the fact that it was so widespread — there was 150 choices of food and it was proven to be fresh since that you can watch them cook it and it tasted amazing. The fact that they are also widespread on wines, beers and a lot more, you should try it out. (i only took the dessert picture and i forgot others)

Thanks goodness they've started to make salt and pepper food, so gives a little extra flavour and the most favourite for everyone... Very clean, good quality of food.
R. T.Amazing buffet for only 10£. Many options to eat, mostly Chinese but others like some Indian options. Also they have a few of non-asian options as salads, sausages, bacon or pizza. Also to prepare hot fod with some ingredients. Food quality over average with some options really tasty.
Deserts are nice with fruit, ice cream and specially carrot cake 👌.
Probably the worst part is the waiters and specially bartenders. Host work aceptable, but others... Assuming that you need to pay extra for take any drink and the low price of the food, for the company, their best option is put a machine to sell drinks, they would save money and win stars because their service would be by far the best in comparison.

A. B.Fantastic choose of food for a reasonable price. Greate services and guality of food. You can have something cooked then and there and for all who love good cake, this is a place worth visiting. Loads to try and you pay only once. There is definitely bigger verity of meals in the evening or over the weekend but the price also changes.
M.Proper good, this! Excellent variety of food; I piled up on meat and fish and my g/f smashed the potatoes and went from slim to looking 6-months pregs in under 2 hours.
L. J.Great meal out, perfect for big eaters and people who love variety. One of the best buffets by far for a couple of reasons. The range of food is great; there’s Chinese dishes, Indian curries and sides, pizzas, some English bits, lots of dessert choice. The food is all cooked to a good standard for a buffet. In regular times, the would have chefs making crepes and a range of sushi available but I noticed that wasn’t there this time but logistically it might not work right now.
I really like how it is decorated because it’s bright and airy which really helps considering how busy it gets. I would definitely recommend booking in advance at peak times. There is a bar to get drinks and there is the option of free refill soft drinks which I think really sets it apart from other buffets.
Definitely recommend if you can’t decide where to eat or are really hungry and looking for a reasonably priced place
G. Y.It was Saturday dinner when we went there, so the line was long but it didn't take us much to get in as I was a bit early. However, they only gave us 1 1/2 hour to stay, I thought it would be atleast 2 hours. Food are superb, perfectly done. The kind of buffet I would go to with my family and friends.
S.Large Asian (some italian) buffet restaurant in Liverpool City Centre.
Was shown to a table and given cutlery and staff explained that the bar was separate to the buffet and that I had to go and get the drinks and pay there, no problem.
The buffet was extensive and varied between chinese(asian)/Indian menu. There was plenty of choice and the food was well cooked. I myself had both indian/Chinese starters and it was very filling and then I went up for some indian/Chinese mains but only once.
My husband enjoyed it so much that he went up for starters and then twice for mains but he never had any desserts.
The desserts were tiny petit four size but equally tasty, I never tried any of the ice creams/confectionery toppings.

I’ve only been there once but other people that I know have said something similar about their experience with the staff. S. B.I discovered this place trying to find a place to eat, before catching my train back to London. The name and the queue outside caught my attention and I headed for it. I was surely not disappointed. Its a buffet restaurant, which serves oriental as well as cuisine from the Indian subcontinent.
However, looking at what was laid out, I wouldn't recommend the "curry"options.
The oriental food was not spicy, which is not in keeping with my personal taste,but, would cater for the majority.
I would personally recommend their excellent salad options (includingThai squid! Yum!), fried seaweed and the desserts. I loved the matcha cake!
A.Went on a sunday around a month ago and it was good considering I'm quite a picky eater. I don't know if their menu is different on a weekday as i remember one time they said they'd do sushi but haven't experienced that yet. Look forward to going again soon. Toilets were hygienic and staff were friendly. Bear in mind that when you get a table you'll have slip to let you know when you'll need to leave so that new customers can fill them which is a 2hr period.

R. A.Second visit to an Asian buffet restaurant. Can say this is so far the best Asian Buffet restaurant I have visited. Starting with starters till deserts, you got a lot of options in the menu. They got 4-5 varieties of noodles, rice and multiple number of chicken varieties and meat. Coming to vegetarian, got enough options in vegetarian as well. They got live kitchen, where you can choose your variety of seafood you want to have and get cooked in front of you. You can see the photos I have posted for any references of the items. And a budget friendly buffet restaurant to mention.

I did go for lunch one day and was very disappointed the selection was bare minimum ! Indian selection was poor aswell no spicy curry. I'd never go during the day again always evening. Tom yum soup is lush and I love the creme brulees
s. d.Really enjoyed a lovely meal here. Staff were a bit egger to remove plates that had not been finished, but just get up and go for another portion. What I found more emotional, was the fact everyone out with family, friends, colleagues, were all on their phones and not engaging on a meal out. So sad 😞.
A. C.Food was incredibly nice, but what really let our meal down was the lackluster customer service by staff members. The girls at the booth at the front were miserable, the gentlemen generically pointing at places to sit rather than showing us to our table and the girl behind the bar, who couldn't speak English, unable to give us our correct drinks as she didn't understand what we were saying. Taking away refillable drinks was a huge step back, despite citing cost cutting by the company, it really sets them back compared to other buffets. Especially since the company website still lists the £2.65 refillable drinks. Staff need to be given a talking to about how customer service should work. We'd definitely come back due to the quality of food, it's just a shame I can't award a higher rating as a result of our experience. (There was a young girl with blonde hair however, who was incredibly pleasant, other staff should take note!)

I have never been somewhere like this before, it had everything from currys to fish fingers to chicken in black bean sauce to pulled pork and dont even get me started on the dessert selection. Its all done in a buffet style so you can go up several times, try new things and eat as much as you want. The only bad thing was the hovering servers, dont get me wrong they are incredibly efficient, an empty glass or playe didnt stay on your table for more than a second but I also felt I couldnt put my fork down or they would swoop in and clear my unfinished plate. I undertstand this is personal preferance though and I probhably only had an issue as I kept stopping for ages to chat to my sister, I would 100% reccomend

A. G.Nice restaurant quite busy good food. Like all these types of restaurants it's busy and a bit squashed the food is good but not great. I found some of the sauces a bit runny and lacking in flavour yet some dishes were yummy. The desserts are great and a really good choice. Great place for families. Buggies are lined up along the entrance corridor.

This help yourself buffet style restaurant is well worth a visit, situated above boots chemist in Clayton Square For less than £9 per person there is an endless supply of exciting Chinese food that you may never try from your local takeaway. The service is very good but be aware it does get busy at lunchtime.

In response to covid regulations, they are only limiting each person to 4 plates and 5 food options for each plate.
No longer allowed to take foods on the counter but a staff will bring the orders to each table.
The process is efficient and smooth, however, we were not able to finish everything for each plate since we cannot decide on the amount of food served. Also, some of the food options in the menu, we do not have an idea of at least how they look, we ordered them and in the end did not like the taste of some cuisines. So they end up not getting finished and wasted.
I hope their normal operations will be back soon.

m. b.Beautiful food and so much variety: Indian, thai, Chinese, Italian, british and lovely desserts too. There is something for everyone here. The staff are polite and constantly cleaning the serving stations and food areas. Empty plates are whisked away quickly meaning you are never left with a mess. The food looks appetising and is delicious and is priced very reasonably for a city centre. The decor is modern and stylish and everywhere is clean and fresh. When we visited all staff were wearing masks at all times. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

a. c.Looks Nice inside. Plenty of seating as it's larger inside than you think. Staff need to park themselves up a bit.. we're not even Christmas and some looked bored and fed up already. Now to the food.. ok forget the crispy duck it resembles bits of sawdust is as hard as old boots and frankly it's horrible. If you want crispy duck go elsewhere. Now as to the other food they do have a good choice and it's reminiscent of a smaller version of Red Hot. I honestly found the food to be quite greasy/oily.. I wasn't impressed. However on a lighter note they did have a good choice of desserts and fizzy drinks are good value as they are refillable. Would I come again? The jury is out on that.. j will see.
A. L.Took the kids there while on holiday and we had a good time. A huge range of dishes from loads of cuisines, nicely cooked, great even for fussy eaters. The desserts were a bit disappointing - not because of the range but the taste, of around 5 things I tried only 2 were actually OK, the rest was bitter or strange or bland. The bench we were sitting on wasn't fixed and kept tilting forward, then bashing loudly when we sat back again, but overall it's a good place to eat. Kids eat at half price.

Staff are helpful and couldn't fault them. But they are simply under staffed for the size of the place and it seems a little chaotic.
Must however stress though, that the food is excellent and extremely good value for money.
You can park in ST John's Multi story car park which is litrally over the road and reasonably priced as well.

o. t.Actually a very good all you can eat! We went there today (25th Aug) and it was great. The staff were polite and helpful and mainly the restaurant was clean and hygienic. As for the food it was really good with family saying it was really flavourful, currys were good, not really sweet like most all you can eats. Pudding area was fab with a lot of selection, Ice cream, cakes, sweets, chocolate fountain etc. Overall by far the best all you can eat I've been to with good staff and great tasty food, would definitely reccomend 😁

Toilets are way too far, they are upstairs and they aren't clean! I'm still rating it 4 stars though as it is nice

I'd say stick to the savoury Asian foods generally, but the desserts are also very nice.

(.This place is OK, great for kids, they do roast dinners, fresh food cooked for you sea food but the portions are small, the susi section is OK but sometimes can be off, if you know your seafood, and then the selections of dishes, quite a few are pizza, chips, fish fingers, sausages, onion rings, chicken nugget, prawn crakers, garlic bread, someother cracker, soups, and dips for kids then there is the Chinese, nothing spectacular and just the run if the mill food, some of it is tastles and some of it can be warm, bacteria breading ground warm. Bit if your really really hungry pop in but don't be fooled by the choice because the choice isn't much and nothing that you won't find in any other all you can eat Chinese restaurant. The dishes are not refilled very often unless really busy so noodles and rice can be cold and crusty, so when they advertise over 50 dishes to choice from remember half of them are kids food, dips bread broken up and sauces.

To be honest it wasn't anything special, the Indian meals were really bad, very watery and not much taste so disappointed at that as was looking forward to it.
The wait at The bar was poor, took about 10 minutes just to get 5 cokes!
Rest of the food was average, I've had better in other local buffet places to be honest.
But the big issue for us was the kids running up and down between the aisles. Parents just Let them do it and staff said nothing, considering people are walking about with plates and glasses in their hands! Accident waiting to happen.
That completely ruined the night for us so will not return here.

A. F.This was my first visit. My dad and I came for food before a concert (he has been many times before and told me how good it was). I was not disappointed. I write this as i sit at the table after 3 full dinner plates plus a huge dessert and i am absolutely stuffed. The food is delicious and fresh. There is such a huge variety of food on offer and the biggest dessert selection i have ever seen at a buffet that i challenge anyone to come here and find nothing they enjoy. There really is something for everyone. This is a must visit for anybody visiting Liverpool and is convenient for anybody getting off the train at central station.
